"Thumbelina? Really? That's who we're saying whom I am?" Shan leaned against the wall with her arms crossed. "Ruby I'm not-I can't pretend to be Thumbelina." A sigh could be heard. "I appreciate your help, I really do, but I…don't remember the story very well. All I remember from the cartoon version is that Thumbelina was born from a flower and she eventually falls in loves and marry's a fairy prince-" Her eyes widened. "Wait….."

"Far as I'm aware, the fairy prince hasn't been found and if he is in Storybrooke, there's a chance that he doesn't have his original memories."

"Unbelievable. Just unbelievable. And what about the original Thumbelina? I'm assuming she's not found either? I guess that's a good thing for me but…I'm not a actress. Can I really pretend to be…"

"Just be yourself. You said it yourself, you don't remember the story very well, just act like you're having trouble remembering. That's normal for us. After the curse had lifted, we still use our given names as a habit."

"That's a good thing to know." The girl mumbled. "But still—"

At that moment, the girl's phone started ringing and she smiled innocently. "Oh sure. It's my wallet I've left behind but my phone's right here…" Smirking, she apologized to Ruby as she excused herself to answer the phone.

"Hello? Oh hey Mrs James-Where am I? Well, I'm-wait what? But I thought-yes ma'am I un but-I-Okay…no. I don't care about my stuff..Throw all of it out for I care!"

Suddenly hanging up the phone, she was in tears now and she found herself running passed Ruby and out of the building. Not familiar with the area, she didn't cared where she was going as she ran into the woods. Leaning against a tree, she cried into her arms. She can't believe it. She's officially out of the foster system. She knew it was coming, she was expecting it, but today of all days? Really? Wiping her eyes, she jumped out of her skin as a boy around her age popped out of nowhere. He was holding a arrow, and she thinks where this was going.

"…If you're going to hurt me just get it over with." She sniffed. "I don't have anything on me that'd be worth stealing so you may as well-"

"I'm not going to harm you. I may be a common thief but…we live off of a code."

"Code? Just what kind of-" Her eyes widening, she literally just reminded herself that she's in a cursed town. "Robin Hood." She realized. "He steals from the rich and gives to the poor…You must be one of his men.." Out of habit, she back away. Though it wasn't doing her any good. "Just kill me now." She eyed the thief.

Smirking, he stepped closer. Dropping the arrow, his smirk grew wider and he offered her his hand. "Name's will. And as I said, I'm not going to hurt you. While I'd like to steal from you, you already look like you're in pain. What's the fun in that?"

"I-"

"Never mind. I don't have an say of what to do with you as the boss isn't in this somewhat stupid town."

"Robin Hood isn't-"

"Enough about that. Let's talk about you. Who are you? Pretty sure I haven't seen you before."

"I'm…" She hesitated. "Thumbelina." She smiled innocently. "The curse reached me too, really.I-I don't remember anything, that's why I was crying, I'm lost…" Literally.

"And Henry's book?" Suddenly taking the book from her, he smirked at the marked page. "If you're Thumbelina, then why does the story of Peter Pan has a bookmark? And with a second smaller book? What is this? Shan's dream diary…" He was curious now. "Just how stupid do you think I am? I know the real Thumbelina. You're not her are you?"

"Y-you know Thumbelina…" Well, great. Now what? "She's not here is she?" Mumbling, she sighed. "You're right. I'm not Thumbelina. Though she's my cover while I'm here so I'd appreciate it if you don't say anything. I'm Shan, and please, don't read that diary. It's….embarrassing."

"Embarrassing you say?" Smirking, he was tempted. He likes messing with her. Especially since he was entertained.

"Please…. W-Will, listen. That diary has my dreams in it, and…the reason why Peter Pan is marked because…he's oddly in my mind, therefore my dreams. Though I didn't know it was him until Henry let me look through that book. Please. I'm begging, my diary is all I have left….."

"Here." Returning the book, he just wanted her to stop talking. "I really wasn't going to read it. You're just fun to tease."

Rolling her eyes, she crossed her arms and was tempted to kick him where the sun doesn't shine. "Jerk." Smirking a little, she suppose he wasn't bad. For a thief. A very cute thief? Shaking her head, she thought of something. "Hey Will? You sure know things about your homeland, do you know anything about dreams literally feeling like their real? I don't know why but….it seems like whatever was in my dreams it feels real."

"I'm not the right person for that question, sorry. But hey, I'll tell you what. I'll help you. Especially since that'd mean I'd be able to spend more time with a pretty face such as you. And possibly fighting the demon prince of Neverland."

"Did you say demon prince? Erm…never mind…." Brushing off the flirting, her mind already was on one guy, she didn't need another one crawling into her somewhat brain. Plus her mind was still processing the fact that she's officially homeless.
