Author's Note: It's been weeks since I last updated (I think) but life goes on. Family life, work life and craft life gets in the way of my brain power. Also I've renewed my interest in the TV show from back in the days called Dark Angel and in turn caught myself reading Max/Alec fiction. And of course my regular dose of Thor/Loki fictions, I just cannot get enough of that yummy goodness. Sighs. Anyways, I hope not to offend much with the vulgar words of this chapter cause you know, Come on! 2020 is coming! Enjoy!
Chapter: Talks
OOOOO
Snuggling into the warmth they are wrapped up in, breathing in the fresh scent and pressing themselves as close as they can to the body they are holding onto tightly, Sasuke sighed in contentment. Pulling the warm body closer, Sasuke nuzzled the back of a neck and breathed in the lovely smell. As his mind woke up, so did other parts and unconsciously rub up against the warm body. Slowly opening his eyes, he saw a head of hair and as he inched his head back he realized whose body it was and his eyes snapped open. Giving a yelped, Sasuke pulled back hard and fell out of bed with a loud thump, and the blanket tangled up in his limbs.
"What!" said in surprised from the bed
"What happened?" came another sleepy voice
The rest of the occupants of the bed looked around until their gaze fell to the empty space on the bed and to the one that fell and is now rubbing his back. Both Roxanne and Naruto leaned over, with Naruto laying across on top of Roxanne, and both saw peaking over the edge of the bed Sasuke tangled up on the floor.
"Hey, how'd you'd get on the floor?" Naruto asked as he rubbed his eyes
"I fell"
"How? You have all this room, all this space on the bed, how did you fall?" Roxanne questioned as she too rubbed her eyes and so failed to see the silent conversation the boys were having.
"He fell so he fell, we are all up now and should be getting changed for our jog" Naruto sprang up from the bed and tossed Sasuke his bag, pushing him backwards out of the room behind him. Naruto laughed as he rubbed the back of his head.
"Yep, we are going up to change, so we'll be a few minutes" Door opened and slammed along with muffled sounds of the boys going up the steps to Naruto's apartment as Roxanne watched from her position on the bed.
"Obviously he'll need a few minutes" She chuckled to herself and got up off the bed and dropped down for push-ups.
50 push-up
50 sit-ups
50 squats
50 jumping jacks
When finished, Roxanne grabbed her workout clothes and went to the bathroom to washup and change.
Of course when she came out, she saw the boys waiting for her. Naruto smiled as he tossed her a water bottle from the fridge but Sasuke. Sasuke sat at the table with a noticeable blush on his face and looking everywhere except at her. Roxanne smirked at the display and went to the room, picked up the weights from underneath the bed and came back, tossing them on the floor by the blushing boy. Said boy did not look up but did pick up the weights and strapped them on.
Naruto chuckled awkwardly.
"Alright, come on guys" going to the door, she open and held it open for the boys to go through, Naruto smiled and Sasuke looked down on their way out. Locking the door and they all made their way down in silence, then out in the open in silence and then to the wall in silence.
It wasn't awkward for Roxanne, she actually found it funny but did not outright laugh. Naruto whistled and Sasuke kept his head down. Once they made it to the nearest wall, they all began stretching and when finished, started to jog in silence.
However this time, the silence didn't last long.
"Um, Roxanne?"
"Hmm"
"You know about guys, right?"
"That they got a dick and no boobs?"
"Yeah and"
"And they get a stiffy in the morning and have to rub it out?"
SPLAT!
Roxanne and Naruto stopped when they heard that and turned to see Sasuke face down in the dirt.
"Sasuke?" Naruto went to his fallen friend. Sasuke pushed himself up on his hands and knees, looking up to Roxanne as he sat back on his legs, with Naruto kneeing beside him.
"You know about that?" the look of utter humiliation on his face as he stared at Roxanne had her chest squeezed and she sighed before sitting down in front of him.
"Sasuke, buddy, sweetie, honey. It's a normal reaction of a growing teenage boy, it's nothing to be ashamed of and frankly, I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner. What with all of us sharing a bed this long"
"So. You're not…?"
"What? Disgusted, shock, squeamish at a normal reaction of a teenage boy? Please" she waved her hand in dismissal of the comment and smiled at Sasuke.
"Would you be if you knew about normal reactions of a teenage girl?" she had her fingers in a quotation marks when saying normal reaction.
"But girls don't react the same as boys in the morning"
"True, but we do get hard" Stretching her arms as she said that since it'll be awhile before they start jogging again. Naruto giggled and Sasuke's face turned red. Roxanne saw this and smiled.
"Not like boy's version of getting hard of course, but more like we get wet, you know, down there" Sasuke's face turned even redder and Naruto laughed. Roxanne smirked as she leaned in close, hands on either side of Sasuke's legs and she could breathe in his scent, their nose almost touching.
"You know about girls getting wet, right?" She purred and to emphasize her point, she wiggled her eyebrows. Naruto lost it and fell back to the ground laughing. Sasuke had a different reaction: a massive nosebleed with falling backwards and fainting. Naruto continued laughing and rolling on the ground.
"Guess we're not going to finish our jog"
Naruto was still laughing.
OOOOO
When Sasuke came to, he noticed first that he was on a bed and secondly noticed the smell of food in the air. Sitting up, he could heard voices coming from the kitchen and so stood to make his way to the voices.
"What your plans for today?"
"Meet up with my Jonin and head over to the Hokage's office to give our report on what we did out there. What about you guys?"
"Another nice clear day, most likely will be outside work and again locate the missing cat. What did you do out there?"
"Yeah, what did you do out there?" Sasuke asked coming into the conversation
"Ah, Mr. Sleepyhead is finally awake" Naruto chuckled from his place by the oven, transferring the eggs to a plate and turning off the burners. Picking up the plated of eggs and bacon and bringing to the table just as Sasuke sat down.
"So what did you do out there?" he asked again as Naruto sat down and scooped up some breakfast.
"There was a report of weird animal noises coming from an area that had the nearby village spooked, so we check it out" scooping some eggs and picking some bacon for her plate, she looked to Sasuke and smiled.
"Hope you didn't bump your head on your way down" Naruto choked
"I want to apologize for reacting like that. I don't usually hear girls talking openly about the sexuality of both genders" Patting Naruto on the back to help him out and when the blonde swallowed, he snorted.
"That's true, in fact anyone for that matter"
"That's because they've been taught at a very young age that speaking of sex, sex parts or body in general is very inappropriate and not good manners" she waved her had in a dismissal gesture "Or whatever"
"The guys we know don't talk about it and the girls never uttered a word. I know a couple adults that try being discreet about going to the red district of town but all adults try to be discreet"
"I mean, what's so embarrassing about it? Penis, penis, penis, vagina, vagina, vagina!"
This time Sasuke choked on his food and Naruto laughed at Roxanne as he patted his teammate on the back.
"See my point?" Naruto nodded as he rubbed Sasuke's back and he finally swallowed the food.
"That is not breakfast talk!"
"So when is it talk? Can't talk about it in public, you get a lynching. You can't talk about it in private cause oh No! it's not appropriate! Can't even talk about it in a classroom during Sex education cause everyone is embarrassed to talk about it! When is it talk? When you're actually about to do it but don't know what to actually do?!" Flicking her spoon at the shocked dark haired teenager for an answer but said teen is speechless.
"…"
"Exactly! So I'm better off just saying it out loud and damn the consequences cause can't lynch someone if they can't catch them"
"I know what to do"
Silence.
Both Roxanne and Sasuke turned to the blonde in question as he chewed his breakfast. Sasuke stared in shock and blushed, Roxanne however smirked and put her elbow on the table and held her head with one hand as she watched the blonde.
"And I can say it out loud too. Penis, penis, penis, vagina, vagina, vagina!" Sasuke's face couldn't get more red and so he dropped his head on the table to hide it all. Roxanne laughed and slapped the table.
"That's what I'm talking about! See it's not so hard!"
Here, Naruto burst out laughing and fell to the floor.
"You two are the very worst of influences, I swear it"
"Yeah?" Sasuke looked up from the table "You want to go to a strip club?"
THUNK!
Sasuke head hit the table and Naruto laughed harder from the floor.
OOOOO
Once all dishes were washed and dry, giving Sasuke time for his face to go back to normal and for Naruto to stop giggling, Roxanne grabbed her keys and turned to the boys.
"Ready?" they nodded and started for the door but stopped when Roxanne yelled 'wait!'
They turned, with Naruto's hand on the door and Sasuke giving a confused look to Roxanne as she ran to the room.
"Ah ha!" came and Roxanne with it as she held up a big bar of chocolate to show the boys.
"Chocolate?" Sasuke asked, eyeing the candy.
"Yeah" she said and gave the bar to Naruto, who looked at it then back to the girl in question
"For me?" Roxanne shook her head
"Hold on to it, just in case"
"Why?"
"I'm not sure but I have a feeling you are going to need it today"
Naruto looked at the candy again and back to the girl in question, shrugged and pocketed the bar.
Locking the door behind her, she followed the two down the steps, whistling an off key tune and when they reached the outside, Roxanne turned the other direction and waved with a 'see ya'. The boys turned the other way after watching Roxanne leave for a moment, not at all deterred from her lack of a backward glance.
Roxanne turned her head slightly to watch the boys leaving in their own direction and turned back ahead once they are out of sight and continued on to where she's going.
Coming to the entrance of the hospital from last night, Roxanne bypassed the front and onto the elevator to the floor she dropped off her Jonin, wondering if he's awake. Stepping off on the floor, She headed to one of the rooms and without knocking, she let herself in.
Milo, having sensed his charge at the door, completely ignored her lack of greeting or knock in favor of putting on his boots and started talking:
"Imagine my shock at waking up in a bright lit room with a doctor prodding me with some instrument and a nurse checking my vitals. Then, in my fogged confused mind, they started questioning me. I of course couldn't answer until said fog cleared away and when it did I realized where I was"
No response from the doorway as he tied off the first boot and picked up the second.
"Told them that I got knocked out by a passing tree"
"Knocked the fuck out more like" Roxanne sniggered as she walked in and sat on the other bed that's in the room. Milo ignoring the snarky comment,
"And that my unit carried me. I didn't say who or how many, just that I was carried and now I'm here" Finished tying off the boot, he looked to his charge, watching her swing her legs and had her hands clasped together on her lap, looking at him.
"Did you come to check if I was still alive or?" He smiled to let her know he was joking.
"Sure and if you weren't then I'd have a lot of explaining to do" She laughed
"Anyways, I came so we can walk together to the Hokage's office and give our report"
"We don't have a report" Milo said as he stood and lead the way out of the hospital room.
"I know that, you know that, the Hokage knows that But" here she whispers so only his ears can hear "Everyone else doesn't"
"Then what did you tell the boys?" Pressing the down button, the elevator dinged as it open to let them in and pressed the ground floor.
"That we got a report of spooked villagers hearing animalistic sounds coming from an area"
"Well you're not wrong" Walking out the elevator and out the front entrance, Milo lead the slow pace to the Hokage's office with Roxanne walking beside him.
When they reached the office, Milo knocked on the Hokage's door and after an 'enter', both Milo and Roxanne came in and went to stand in front of the desk, greeting the Hokage. He watched them for a second before placing a wordless seal on the entire office. Roxanne stiffen the millisecond it happen and looked to her Jonin who was also tensed after he saw the sealing.
"Relax, it's just a precaution for any ears that might want to listen in" Milo relaxed but Roxanne stayed tensed. The Hokage looked to her, raising his brow in question
"I don't like being confined in a place that's hold up by someone else, sorry" She shrugged and crossed her arms.
"Understandable. You'd prefer being confine by your own terms" She smirked at the jab but nodded.
"To business then" He turned to Milo:
"Do you understand the importance of what transpired during the last couple days? The confidentiality of it to be the outmost top secret that will only be held between the three of us? And what the end result will be if you so much as utter the words to anyone else?"
Milo stared at the Hokage and looked to Roxanne and back to the man behind the desk and nodded.
"If I so much as breathe it out, I'll will be put to death immediately and it'll look like an accident?" The Hokage nodded
"Every month after each incident, I will draft up a fake report. Unless, however, you are out during that time for another mission, it will be omitted from any reports you draft up that I will review beforehand" Milo nodded again
"So for this 'incident', there is a report draft up?"
"I knew you weren't stupid enough to get yourself accidently killed" Roxanne slapped Milo on the shoulder and smiled at him when he gave her a non-heated glare while rubbing the spot she hit.
The Hokage smiled at them and opened a drawer and took out a scroll, handing it out to Milo. Unrolling it, Milo read the contents of the scroll, looked to the Hokage and back to the scroll, rereading it. Roxanne stepped up close to the Jonin and read over his shoulder.
"Well, I wasn't wrong there"
"Hmm?"
"I told the boys when they asked me about what we did out there and told them about a bunch of villagers being spooked by some weird animal sounds coming from an area and that we checked it out"
"Hmm. Great minds think alike" They both smiled at each other than Milo waved the scroll for attention.
"Now what?"
"You sign at the bottom and I'll have it filed"
"That's it?"
"That's it for this report" Milo signed but Roxanne brow furrowed in confusion.
"What do you mean 'for this report'? Do you have some other sinister plan for us to do 'confidentially' that'll only look like we did something legal instead on paper?" she did air quotes for the confidentially part
"Legal?" Milo looked between the big boss and his charge with worry on his face
"It would seem I do in fact have something that needs our attention and its contents will be kept quiet until further notice" He raised an eyebrow at the two as they looked at each other, shrugged and nodded for him to continue.
'These two will be the most requested team in no time' The Hokage smirked
OOOOO
Once dismissed after being told what and when their next mission will be, Roxanne and Milo split: Milo headed home to rest up for tomorrow and Roxanne headed to the market for a stroll. Making the signs for a couple clones, she gave out each an assignment to do and when they disappeared, Roxanne walked through the market place. Side stepping a couple kids, helping an elderly couple on where is what and picking up a cat that can only be known as the escape artist that the boys have mentioned before: Tiger, Roxanne strolled along with a passenger on her shoulders with its tail wrapped around her neck and enjoying the view.
Tail wrapped around her own waist and arms behind her, Roxanne watched the flow of the market and gave a small smile as she looked around her.
'Good to be home' She thought and kept on strolling.
OOOOO
When they reached the meeting place, the boys noticed their pink hair teammate waiting, leaning against the railing with her arms crossed over her chest and her hair covering her face so they couldn't see her expression. Once within range, Naruto called out
"Morning Sakura!"
"Shut up, Naruto! God! Why do you have to be so god damn annoying so early in the morning?! Huh?! Geez! Can't you just be quiet just once" and so on and so forth Sakura ranted on as the boys stopped when Sakura first started yelling and stood still, fearing what their teammate will do if they make any sudden movement. Naruto turned slightly to Sasuke and he too had a surprised yet frozen expression on his face.
"What do we do?" Sasuke whispered quietly, not moving his lips and still staring at Sakura as she kept on yelling while pacing back and forth on the bridge. Naruto gulped, put his hands in his pockets and stepped to the fiery inferno known as Sakura. Sasuke went to grab him to pull the blonde back from hitting range when said blonde spoke.
"Sakura?"
"What?!" She turned to Naruto, ready to chew him a new one when she saw what was in his outstretched hand.
"Do you want some chocolate?"
Sasuke stared wide eye, waiting on the explosion, with his hand still stretched out reaching for the blonde.
Both boys watched as Sakura stared at the chocolate bar in Naruto's hand for a second and looked up to said blonde.
"For me?"
Naruto nodded as Sakura took the candy and hastily took a step back, watching Sakura looking at the candy bar in her hands. Sasuke immediately took Naruto's hand in his and stood next to him, slightly in front just in case the girl decides to get violent. They watched silently as Sakura held the candy in her hands and her eyes started to tear up.
"Oh Naruto! That's so sweet! I can't believe you are so nice to me after I just yelled at you, I'm so sorry!" and again on she went apologizing and praising Naruto whom is now blushing and rubbing the back of his head with his free hand. Sasuke, having not actually experience this kind of situation, tugged on the blonde's hand and asked with his eyes on what's going on. Naruto turned to see that Sakura is now eating the chocolate bar and not paying them any mind, tugged his dark haired away from hearing range, knowing that the slightest comment could set off their pink haired teammate.
"Remember what we talked about last night? About girl's plumbing?" Sasuke nodded "Well looks like Sakura started hers for the month" Realization dawned on the dark haired teen and looked sort of panicky to the girl.
"What do we do?"
"Don't speak, unless she speaks to you or else it is going to annoy her quickly. No sudden movements, always be in sight of them and agree to everything she says. The first couple days is rough on them with their cramps and aunt flow is a bitch the first round. If we don't get the day off then you and me will be doing the heavy lifting, the running around and so on" Sasuke nodded
"I could live with that, more work for us and as long as she doesn't kill us before the week ends then should be fine"
POP!
"Heyo!"
"Where the Hell have you been?! Do you have any IDEA what time it is?! If you're going to be late then at least have the decency to let us know!" And she started again, her victim is their sensei Kakashi and by the looks of it, he doesn't know what to do. Hand up in front of him and giving a strain smile, Kakashi backed away from Sakura, laughing nervously.
"You get today off" He said quickly before poofing away in a cloud of smoke.
"That was easy. Sakura?" Naruto asks as she turns to the boys "Are you going to be alright today?" Sakura smiled
"Yeah, we have today off! He could of at least let us know if we are going to the day off" She huffs but waves at the boys "I'll see you guys tomorrow, ok?" She walks away in a better mood while humming a tune. The boys waved at her turned back and Naruto chuckled, tugging Sasuke hand to get him to walk with him.
"Girls. Anyways, what are we going to do today?"
Squeezing Naruto's hand, Sasuke smiled and shrugged.
"Well, we didn't know that we were going to have today off so maybe we can get in a bit of training. Not sure what Roxanne's up to but maybe we can look for her and see if she wants to train with us"
Naruto nodded and squeezed Sasuke's hand.
OOOOO
Of course the first place they checked was the apartment and just as well, she just arrived too and without her passenger who took off a minute ago.
"Hey guys, what's up? No missions today?"
"Thanks to Sakura, we have today off"
"What does that mean?"
"That feeling you had just before we left?" a nod "Well, it was right, Sakura" was all he had to say for Roxanne to understand the meaning.
"So what's on the agenda for today?"
"we were thinking if you like to go training with us?"
Of course the hand holding was not lost on her but she refrained from questioning it, knowing the boys are just realizing the feelings behind the whole situation and she smiled as she nodded and lead the way to the training grounds.
"What were you up to before we showed up?"
"After I left you guys, went and met up with my Jonin and headed to the Hokage's office to give our report. Afterwards, he had given us another mission for tomorrow"
"But you just got back from a 3 day one"
"And I'm not sure how long this one will be"
"What's the mission?"
"Confidential, only need to know"
"Well we need to know"
Roxanne laughed and put a hand on the boy's shoulder "I wish I could but can't, Hokage's orders. Now stretch!" The boys mock salute to Roxanne and began stretching.
