It begins with J.D., Varie, and Eddy walking to the Loud House. They knocked on the door, but no one answered.

"That's odd," J.D. commented.

When they enter, they notice everything is quiet.

J.D. called out, "Hello? Is there anyone here?"

"Where is everyone?" Varie wondered.

J.D. shook his head. "I don't know. It's usually never this quiet."

Eddy frowned. "That's strange. The van is still here. Maybe they're sleeping in today."

J.D. shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe, maybe not."

They go upstairs to Lincoln's room and knock on the door.

"Come on in," Lincoln said from the other side of the door.

They open his door and go inside.

J.D. greeted him. "Hey Lincoln. How's it going?"

"Hey guys," Lincoln replied.

"It's certainly quiet around here," Varie noted.

Lincoln cracked his neck and yawned. "Ooh, the sweet sound of silence. That never happens on a Saturday. I must be the first one up." When he notices the time, he becomes alarmed. "Wait a minute! 10 a.m.? How could it be this quiet this late?"

"I'm not sure, Lincoln," Eddy admitted. "When we walked in, it was quiet."

"That's strange," Lincoln said, frowning.

He opens the door as he puts on his clothes, and they exit his room. They then notice the upstairs hallway is all wrecked.

J.D.'s eyes widened. "Whoa. When we first walked in, the hallway wasn't like this."

"Uh, hello?" Lincoln asked. A strange noise could be heard coming from Lola and Lana's rooms. "Hey guys!" Lola emerged from her room, looking sick and like a zombie.

"What's wrong with you, Lola?" J.D. exclaimed, shocked.

Lincoln laughs nervously and walks back to Leni. "Oof! Leni, I think something's wrong with Lol..." Leni appears to be ill, and flies are buzzing around her. Lincoln and Varie both screamed. Lynn is sick as well. He attempts to back away and open Lisa's bedroom door. J.D., Varie, Eddy, and Lincoln scream as Lisa pulls them inside, with Lori, Luna, Luan, Ronnie Anne, Lucy, Laney, Lana, Lisa, Lily, and Jessie holding them. "What the?"

"Head toward the light," J.D. kept repeating.

"Are they okay?" Laney inquired, concerned.

"They look okay," Luna said, "but we should double-check them."

Lori examines them with a temperature scanner. "98.6 degrees. They're good. Let them go."

"Hey girls," J.D. said as he greeted them.

Eddy waved. "Hey girls. Hey Luan."

"Hi Eddy," Luan said, smiling.

"Will someone please tell me what the heck is going on?" Lincoln asked, perplexed.

Varie agreed with a nod. "Yeah, everyone looks like a bunch of Zombies."

Lisa adjusted her glasses. "Haven't you heard? This morning our house became infested with an acute, febrile, contagious virus. Or, as it's known on the street the flu."

J.D. was shocked. "THE FLU?! Uh-Oh!"

Lincoln explained to J.D., "With 14 Louds, 3 Santiago's and 1 Jessie packed into 4500 square feet, when someone gets sick, it spreads like the plague. We're not just talking flu, we're talking... a zombie apocalypse!"

"A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE?" Eddy yelled.

"The first virus sighting was in Leni's room," Lisa explained.

An old-time movie reel with a countdown starts with Rita checking Leni's temperature with the scanner.

Rita sighed. "You have got a fever, young lady. You need to get right back in bed."

When Leni sneezes, her mucus lands on Lynn's basketball. Lynn picks it up, spins it on her fingers, picks up Leni's germs, sneezes, and becomes infected with the flu. She groans and goes down to the kitchen, where she drinks orange juice straight from the carton.

Lola goes to get a drink of orange juice, pours it into a glass, and drinks it with germs in it, becoming ill and groaning.

End flashback

"Oh, man," J.D. exclaimed. "This is bad, and I've never been sick in my life."

Varie shook her head. "Me neither."

"Same here," Eddy said.

"Okay, you three, me, Lori, Laney, Luan, Ronnie Anne, Luna, Lily, Jessie, and Lucy are the only survivors," Lisa explained.

Lincoln was panicking. "Wait! Lucy's infected!"

Lucy gave him a deadpan look. "Incorrect. I always look like this."

"But what about Laney?" Lincoln asked. "Usually, she's the first to catch the flu."

"Don't worry about me," Laney said. "I've never felt better!" She then stretches to show that she is fine.

"If we want to live to see another day," Lisa advised, "I suggest we start the escape protocol as soon as possible."

"I'm on it," Lincoln declared. He takes out his radio and dials Clyde's number. "Healthy Loud to Safe Haven. We've got a level four outbreak."

Clyde spits his cereal out. "The flu?! Lincoln, give it to me straight. Did Lori make it?"

"I'm fine, Clyde," Lori said, touched by his concern.

Clyde started acting like a robot. "System overload. Sys..." J.D. snaps his fingers and snaps him out of it. "Thanks J.D. Sorry. I'll have everything ready. Cots, medical supplies, and my patented health meals. How many survivors?"

"11," Lincoln said, followed by a sneeze from Luan. "Make that 10."

"Guys, no! It's snot what you think!" Luan laughs, then becomes sick and groans.

J.D. isn't going to let her get sick on his watch, so he chants an incantation. "Vestiga Piyona Serrisa!"

In an instant, a rainbow light heals Luan.

"Thank you, J.D.," Luan said, relieved.

J.D. smiled at her. "No problem, Luan."

"I wish I could learn magic like that," Lily commented.

"Guys, don't you think we should take care of the sick?" Varie asked. "After all, they're still our family."

Laney shook her head. "I wish we could, Varie. But there is nothing we can do."

"She's right, dude," Luna pointed out. "It's too late for them, but not for us."

Jessie nodded. "Yeah. We need to get out of here fast."

"I'm right behind you," Ronnie Anne added.

"Everyone, get out of the house!" Lincoln exclaimed. "Let's move."

"Wait!" yelled Lisa. "We can't just go out there with our proverbial keisters hanging out." She pressed a button to open her and Lily's closet, which is stocked with water guns. She grabs one and fills it with something. "In case we're attacked, this concoction will slow down the infected." She squirts one of the water guns at Lincoln.

Lincoln took a sip of the concoction. "This tastes like chicken soup."

"That's because it's chicken soup," Lisa says as she hands him a gun.

J.D. begins loading tranquilizer darts into a pistol.

"What's in those darts, J.D.?" Jessie asked.

"Codeine," J.D. explained. "It's a narcotic. It will make them tired. But since this is only a small dose, it should be fine. Here." He hands a gun to Jessie. ""We only have ten shots each, so we have to make them count."

Eddy was filling water balloons with something.

"What are you filling those water balloons with, Eddy?" Luan asked.

"Orange juice with extra pulp," Eddy explained. "It will slow them down a little."

Luan made a joke. "Orange, you glad you thought of that? She laughed. "Get it?"

Eddy laughs. "I get it."

Lucy, Lana, Luan, Laney, Ronnie Anne, Lori, Lisa, Lily, and Luna each take one of the remaining guns. Lisa gets more soup and puts on a headband. The remaining ten are prepared to fight.

"I'm ready, guys," Varie stated.

"LOCK AND LOAD, PEOPLE!" Lisa exclaimed. Her siblings do the same.

J.D. and Jessie cock their weapons.

"Let's go kick some Zombie Butt!" Lana exclaimed.

"It's more Ed's department," Eddy admitted, "but I love the excitement."

Lincoln looks around and gives the all-clear, and they enter the hall.

"Look sharp," Lincoln advised, "they can be anywhere."

"I'm always on the lookout," J.D. said, seriously.

They continue on their way until Luna signals them to stop. Luan's unicycle rolls out of her room and onto the floor. Just then, Lincoln notices something. "Luna! Three o'clock!"

The infected Leni is approaching them, and Luna shoots some chicken soup into her mouth, causing Leni to collapse.

"Lisa!" Lincoln exclaimed, "Six o'clock!"

A contaminated Lola approaches in her car.

"EAT HOT SOUP!" screamed Lisa. She fires it into Lola's mouth, causing her to crash while distracted by the taste.

Lincoln notices another one. "Lori! Nine o'clock!"

Lori sees Lynn approaching and fires soup into her mouth.

"Good shot Lori," J.D. commented.

"Guys, Trouble!" Laney exclaimed. She points to Luna, surrounded by a sick Lynn and Lola.

Luna was panicking. "Dudes! Help!"

J.D. and Jessie fire darts at them, which hit them in the arm and knock them out.

"Thank you, J.D. and Jessie," Luna said, relieved.

"No problem," J.D. replied.

"You're welcome," Jessie replied.

"EVACUATE!" exclaimed Lincoln.

They make their way to the stairs and go down them.

"Guys, we're almost there," J.D. explained.

Laney nodded. "Yeah."

"We're tasting freedom in three, two -" Lincoln began.

As he opens the door, they discover that Charles, Cliff, Walt, and Geo have also been contaminated.

Lincoln screamed. "AAAHH! THE VIRUS HAS JUMPED SPECIES!"

Eddy narrowed his eyes. "Eat orange juice flea bags!"

He fires an orange juice bomb from his slingshot, splattering orange juice all over the pets, causing them to fall asleep.

J.D., Varie, Eddy, Jessie, Ronnie Anne, Lincoln, and his sisters dash to the sidewalk.

"I'll quarantine the house," J.D. said, then chanted an incantation. "Fenorica Vekouxa Gamseno!"

The Loud House was surrounded by a massive dome and was kept under tight quarantine.

"That should hold," J.D. nodded in approval. "Now, let's get to Clyde's house and wait until the virus has finished its course."

Laney agreed. "Yeah. Good thinking."

Clyde's House

"It's good you all got out of there," Clyde told J.D. "I thought I'd lost all of you."

"What started as a visit turned into a flu rescue mission," J.D. explained.

Varie nodded. "Yeah. But we should've stayed and watched over them."

"I know it was the right thing to do, but no one likes getting sick, especially with the flu," J.D. explained.

"I don't think the Loud House can get Flu Shots," Eddy pointed out.

"You're right, Eddy," Lori nodded. "Dad is afraid of needles and doesn't want us all to get them."

"Boy, he's got a bad case of Belonephobia, also known as the fear of Needles," J.D. explained. "What about Ms. Rita? Is she scared of needles?"

Lori shook her head. "No. Mom is not."

"Those two are exact opposites when it comes to horror movies and needles," Varie pointed out.

Lana agreed. "Yeah. Being sick is not fun. How long will it take for the flu to go away?"

"Influenza, street name: The Flu, usually goes away after about 2 to 3 days," Lisa explained.

"I'm glad we got out of the house," Ronnie Anne stated.

Jessie agreed. "Me too."

Luan smiled. "I'm glad we're safe."

Three days later, the phone rang at 8:00 a.m. while they were all sleeping in the living room.

"I'll get it," J.D. said, and then answered the phone. "Hello?"

"J.D.? It's Lynn Sr."

"Hello Mr. Lynn. Is everyone feeling better?"

"Yes, we're all okay now. You can all come back now."

"Oh good. But we'll stay protected just in case. See ya."

The Loud House

Lincoln, Lori, Luna, Luan, Lucy, Laney, Lana, J.D., Varie, Eddy, Jessie, Ronnie, Anne, Lisa and Lily are standing outside the dome when J.D. makes it disappear.

"It appears to be safe," J.D. said to everyone.

They sneak up to the house and open the door to see Lynn Sr., Rita, Leni, Lynn, and Lola all better.

"You guys are all better," J.D. said, relieved. "Thank goodness."

Lynn Sr. nodded. "Yes, we are."

J.D. was suspicious. "How do I know this isn't some kind of biological trap?"

"There's no trap here, J.D.," Rita reassured him. "We're fine."

J.D. narrowed his eyes to see if they were lying, but eventually nodded. "I don't sense any lies. Okay."

They put their weapons away and go into the kitchen for some breakfast.

THE END.
