Chapter 2:
This is a Nightmare!
It was a quiet night as I was asleep in my comfortable bed. It suddenly didn't feel like I was lying in my own bed anymore, even though I was. I kind of felt like I was sleeping on the bed from Total Drama Island instead. Which was weird, so I jumped out of bed as soon as I realized what had happened. It took me a moment to admit I was no longer in my house or in my bed. It was in the cabin where I used to sleep when I was in the show that I was in. I looked around, and all I could think of was, "What the heck am I doing here?!"
"Oh god, this is a nightmare. Well, I'm heading back to sleep, and I'm going to wake up in my bed and see that Candy is sleeping next to me." A couple of minutes later, it seemed Cody was still in the bunk beds, not his bed. He thought to himself, "Great, now I'm stuck in a real-life horror movie where I'm the only one who can't wake up!"
"What the heck. Why am I still here?" As Cody got up from his bunk bed and walked around the walk for a bit. "There's no way. This is real. It's just a realistic dream, that's all. Hahaha." Then he slapped himself in the face to ensure he was asleep. He was not, but he wished he was!
"Hey, dude. What are you doing? Cody heard someone talking to him. It startled him. "Wha—Ahhh!" screamed Cody as he fell to the ground, face first. "Ouch, that really hurt." As Cody touched his nose. "Wow, dude. Are you okay? I didn't mean to startle you." As Trent helps Cody get up from the ground. Cody had been so lost in his thoughts that he was taken by surprise when Trent called out to him.
"N-no, it's okay, Trent. I was just surprised to see you here. That's all." Cody said as he got up and sat on one of the bunk beds. "Well, I do sleep here. Haha."
"Yeah, haha. And what was the challenge yesterday? I'm just so tired from yesterday." Cody hoped that Trent would believe what he had said since he had no idea what day it was. Trent chuckled and replied, "Umm...the challenge yesterday was staying awake." No wonder Cody felt very tired all of a sudden. "That might have been the most difficult thing I had to do. So Trent, did our team win yesterday?" Trent looked at me strangely. He raised an eyebrow and said, "You really don't remember anything from yesterday, do you?"
What does he mean? Did I do something weird during the challenge? I don't remember doing anything strange. Well, except when Owen farted in my face or when Noah kissed me in the ear. But hey, at least it made for an unforgettable experience!
But it has been a long time since I saw episodes of the show or even remembered what I did on the show. So, at least I can say I got a kiss and a smelly surprise all in one! "I didn't do anything stupid, right? Haha."
"What? No, you didn't. Unless you are talking about you trying to be the ladies' man with the girls. Especially Gwen. Then she punched you in the stomach for being on her way to the cabin. With that, nothing at all."
Oh god, I forgot how desperate I was to be the ladies' man and try to impress Gwen all of the time. I wish that I had taken the hint when she clearly didn't like me like that. But, hey, being me. I always thought that she would give me a chance. I guess that's what they call "wishful thinking."
"Oh, I see. Sorry, man. I forgot that you had a crush on her." Cody rubbed his head and then noticed Trent's face had changed completely. His face had turned somewhat red. Not sure if he was embarrassed or angry. Either way, I was in trouble for forgetting that Trent had told me that he had started to like Gwen more after Heather had read Gwen's diary. Man, I hope I didn't change history or something. This could be a disaster. I guess I'm just a master at creating awkward situations.
"What? Did Gwen say something?" Trent sat next to Cody. "N-no, she didn't, sorry. I just assumed you did since you and Gwen are always talking to each other."
"Oh, I see. I kind of hope that she might have had a crush. Dumb, right? Ha." Oh, boy. Trent, you wouldn't believe me that Gwen very much likes you. But don't worry, I won't tell her you said you had a crush on her too.
"No, it's not dumb. And hey, I bet she likes you. I can tell when someone is in love, dude." Trent smiled, relieved that he wouldn't have to rely on his own with his love problems. "Since when you became the love doctor. I thought that you were the ladies' man."
"Let's just say that I watch a lot of romance movies. After all, I need to know the secrets of true love in case I ever find it myself. Also, I hope you aren't mad at me for saying you have a crush on Gwen."
"Okay, Romeo. But why would I be mad at you for that, anyway?"
"Um, I don't know. I guess I just thought it would be kind of embarrassing? You know how guys can sometimes be with their emotions. Like my emotionless dad." And the fact that you told me that you would easily rearrange my face for lying that Gwen was into you. I should be glad he didn't rearrange my face for asking him to talk about his feelings.
"Yeah, like my dad too. He never cries, except when his favorite sports team loses. Then he turns into a real waterfall!" Both Cody and Trent laughed at the comment that Trent had said. "But anyway, you should hurry up. Chris will soon call us to the main lodge. And thank you, dude, for having this conversation."
"No problem. If you need another buddy to talk to. You can talk to me."
"I will." Trent left the cabin and headed toward the main lodge.
Well, that was a fun talk. I just need to hurry up and get dressed.
But man, I can't still believe that this might be real. Let's give me a pinch, just in case. Ow! Yep. It's real.

Hello!
I wanted to say that I want to post chapters every Wednesday the best I can.
Also, the romance is going to happen to the characters, but not Cody. Cody is going to be mainly focused on winning the money.
Cody will get with someone. But it's not going to be Gwen or any of the girls.
I was going to make Cody not be with anyone from the show, just with random girl.
But now I kind of started to ship him with Noah after reading a specific fanfic that I read.
So, Cody will be with Noah.
