Lincoln and Linka are in the Simulator.
J.D., Varie, Lynn Sr., Rita, Lori, Anastasia, Leni, Luna, Eddy, Luan, Lucy, Lana & Lola, Laney & Crysta, Lily and Lisa were in the Control Room.
"So, how does this Simulator work?" Lynn Sr. asked.
"It's been like our doorway across the very fabric of time, space, and dimensions," J.D. explained. "This is a very prominent tool for putting our skills in our powers to the test."
Lisa nodded in agreement. "Exactly, father, and this has proven to be a huge success."
"Luan provided the testing stage and it worked perfectly," Varie explained.
"We decided to have Luan test it out because she acquired her powers recently," J.D. explained.
"I was in the Swan Princess," Luan said proudly.
Rita had stars in her eyes. "Oh, that is so cool!"
"It was truly a SIMULATING VICTORY!" Luan exclaimed, then laughed. "Get it?"
J.D., Varie, Lynn Sr., Rita, Anastasia, Eddy, Lily, and Crysta laughed, while Leni, Luna, Lana & Lola, Laney, and Lisa groaned.
"Good one," J.D. laughs.
"That is funny," Eddy laughs.
"Luan's test was a success," Varie declared.
"That's so sweet, dudes," Luna exclaimed.
"I still don't get it," Leni admitted.
"I hope Lincoln and Linka do well," Lily said, worried.
Laney reassured her. "Don't worry, Lily. Lincoln and Linka are going to be fine. We have faith in them right, Crysta?"
Crysta agreed, saying, "I'm with you on that."
After turning on the Simulator, Lincoln and Linka found themselves in New York City, New York, in front of a Morningside Orphanage.
The sign in front of the building caught Lincoln's attention. "Morningside Orphanage?" He then gasped, recognizing where they were. "We're in the movie 'The Rescuers.'"
"Our favorite movie!" they exclaimed enthusiastically.
When Lincoln and Linka entered, they noticed two mice chatting with a cat named Rufus.
Linka recognized the two mice. "It's Bernard and Ms. Bianca. Let's go help them."
Lincoln nodded in agreement. "Come on."
Lincoln and Linka approached them and offered to help them.
"We appreciate you two helping us out," Bernard said, smiling gratefully at the two.
"You're welcome, Bernard," Lincoln replied.
"Yes, please save Penny," Rufus begged.
"We will do everything we can," Linka promised.
Lincoln & Linka, Bernard, and Ms. Bianca later went inside a pawn shop down the street and looked around quietly.
When the phone rang, they went into the closet to hide. Madam Medusa, a woman with red hair, emerged.
She picked up the phone and answered it. "Madam Medusa's Pawn Shop Boutique? Snoops!" She then became excited. "Don't tell me, Snoops! Let me guess. You found it!" She laughs. "You've found the Diamond?"
"What diamond?" Lincoln asked Laney quietly.
"I forgot," Laney admitted quietly.
Medusa was glaring at whoever was on the other end of the phone. "Give you time? You bungler! You've been down there for three months." On the other end of the phone, Snoops was talking indistinctly. "Bottles? What bottles?" She then lost her cool. "You caught Penny sending messages in bottles!" You are a blundering fool! Can't you keep a little girl under control? Shut up! She clenches her fist and slams it down on her desk. "I'm taking the next flight down to Devil's Bayou!"
She slams the phone down on the receiver and hangs up.
Medusa stowed her belongings in a suitcase and left.
Lincoln, Linka, Bernard, and Ms. Bianca looked around. In Medusa's study, he found a bunch of maps and books on Louisiana and a picture of an old abandoned Dixie Paddle Riverboat.
Lincoln looks at the Riverboat Picture. "This has to be where she's keeping Penny."
"But what is she after, and what does she want with her?" Bernard asked.
Linka let out a loud gasp. "I remember! She's after the world's largest diamond, The Devil's Eye. It's the size of a human head and is priceless."
"That diamond is enormous," Lincoln noted, "and it would make anyone rich beyond their wildest dreams."
Ms. Bianca realized something. "They couldn't find Penny because she isn't in New York. She's in Louisiana."
"That's over 1,300 miles away," Linka explained. "I don't remember how to get there, but we need to get to Devil's Bayou first."
Lincoln nodded in agreement. "Let's go."
Lincoln, Linka, Bernard, and Ms. Bianca set out for Devil's Bayou in Louisiana.
Thanks to Lincoln and Linka's flying there, they arrived in one hour and saw the abandoned riverboat.
"That's the riverboat," Lincoln confirmed.
"It sure looks old," Linka observed.
"It looks like it's been here for a long time," Bernard observed.
Ms. Bianca agreed. "It certainly has. Penny must be in there somewhere."
Lincoln narrowed his eyes at the boat. "She is. I know it."
"How are we going to get her out?" Linka wondered.
"We'll come up with something," Lincoln assured them.
They noticed Madam Medusa driving a swamp mobile to the riverboat as they waited and planned. They met two local mice named Ellie Mae and Luke, a Dragonfly named Evinrude, a rabbit named Deadeye, a turtle named Gramps, a mole named Digger, and an Owl named Deacon Owl.
"I'd like to give her a few whacks with my Rolling Pin!" Ellie Mae yelled, pretending to hit something.
"We swamp folks are going to run her out of our bayou," Luke declared.
"If it's a fight she wants, then it's a fight she'll get," Lincoln said, narrowing his eyes.
"We are here to rescue Penny," Linka explained.
"That little girl Medusa has with her?" Deadeye asked.
Lincoln nodded. "Yes."
"How does Penny fit into Medusa's plan to obtain the Devil's Eye Diamond?" Linka wondered.
Gramps explained how Penny fit into Medusa's plan. "Penny is small enough to fit through a small hole in a pirate cave along the coast. However, getting there is difficult because the tide comes in quickly and floods the cave."
"Medusa really wants that diamond," Lincoln said, disgusted. "Bad."
"Probably for herself or to sell on the black market," Linka speculated.
Bernard became worried. "We have to get Penny out of here and quick."
Lincoln then notices something. "Guys, someone is coming out of the boat." He takes out his binoculars and sees Penny trying to make a run for it.
"That must be Penny," Lincoln realized.
"Let me take a look," Linka demanded. Lincoln hands her the binoculars. "Oh. She's so young."
Ms. Bianca covered her mouth in horror. "It is Penny. Oh, how terrible."
The lights on the riverboat turned on.
Medusa was calling out to someone. "Penny? Penny? Penny answer me. Penny!"
"Medusa is calling for her," Lincoln pointed out.
Linka then had a thought and turned to Ellie Mae. "Ellie Mae, do you know if there's somewhere we can all hide?"
Ellie Mae took a look around and found a spot. "There's a cave over there." She pointed to a cave on a cliff above the coast.
Lincoln grinned. "Perfect. Let's go."
Ellie Mae looked at the dragonfly next to her. "Evinrude. Go with them."
Evinrude agreed with a buzz.
"Send Evinrude back as soon as you need help," Ellie Mae advised.
Lincoln nodded. "Right. Let's go."
Lincoln, Linka, Bernard, Ms. Bianca and Evinrude set out to find Penny.
Lincoln noticed Penny hiding behind a tree and called out to her. "Penny! Over here!"
Penny looked over there and saw them.
"Penny, we mean you no harm," Linka assured her. "Come on over here, quickly."
Penny hesitated for a moment and then rushed over.
"Where did you come from?" Penny inquired.
"We'll explain later," Lincoln replied. "Let's go over to that cave and hide."
They ran to the cave after he pointed it out to them.
Suddenly, there was a burst of fireworks.
Linka's eyes widened in horror. "Oh, no! They're using fireworks to illuminate the swamp in order to find us."
"Hurry!" yelled Lincoln.
They arrived 20 minutes later and entered the cave together.
Lincoln lit a lantern, which filled the room with light.
Penny expressed her gratitude by saying, "Thank you for saving me."
Lincoln smiled at her. "Not a problem. We should introduce ourselves. My name is Lincoln Loud."
"I'm his twin sister, Linka Loud, and this is Evinrude," Linka said, motioning to the dragonfly next to her.
Evinrude buzzed in greeting.
"My name is Bernard," Bernard said, smiling.
Ms. Bianca: And I am Ms. Bianca," Ms. Bianca added.
"We found the bottle with your message and have come to rescue you," Bernard explained.
Penny gasped in delight and hugged her teddy bear. "Teddy, did you hear that? Our bottle worked!"
Lincoln nodded. "Yes, it did."
"Didn't you bring someone big with you, like the Police?" Penny asked.
Lincoln shook his head. "No. It's just the 5 of us."
Linka gave her a reassuring smile. "I promise you, Penny, that we will do everything we can to get you out of here. We have to work together."
Penny was touched by this and decided to help. "I will help you."
"Okay," Lincoln replied.
They could hear rumbling.
"What is that?" Lincoln inquired.
They could hear water sloshing behind a cave wall further down.
"It's coming from behind this wall," Linka explained.
Lincoln pressed his ear against it and heard the splashing of water. "There's water behind here."
"Water is dripping from that rock sticking out," Bernard observed.
"Stand back," Lincoln instructed.
When Lincoln shattered the wall, water splashed into the cave room, and a human skull tumbled.
"That rock was a skull," Lincoln explained.
Linka narrowed her eyes as she noticed something. "Wait, a minute. I see something in it."
When Lincoln picked it up and looked inside, they found a huge diamond.
The Devil's Eye Diamond.
Lincoln gasped in shock. "Jumping King of Lightning! It's the Devil's Eye!"
"We found the Diamond Medusa was looking for," Penny exclaimed gleefully.
Bernard was gaping. "Holy mackerel! That... That's it!"
Ms. Bianca was staring at it in awe. "The Devil's Eye."
"It's massive," Linka agreed.
Lincoln smashed the skull and took the diamond.
Outside the simulator, they were shocked.
"Look at the size of that diamond!" exclaimed J.D.
"It's enormous!" exclaimed Varie.
"That diamond has to be worth a fortune," J.D. speculated.
"A diamond of that size, color, clarity, and class is worth $582,647,842,334,550.00," Lisa explained.
That amount astounded J.D. "Sweet mother of all things great and small. That is more money than anyone could ever imagine."
"A diamond like that belongs in a museum," Varie stated.
"A high security museum, dudes," Luna clarified.
"I'd rather enjoy the darkness," Lucy said, "and if it were a black diamond, I'd keep it."
"They say diamonds are a girl's best friend," Lori pointed out, "but I wouldn't want a diamond that big."
Lola nodded in agreement. "Yeah. That diamond would make us filthy rich, but it would also make us the target of numerous thieves."
"I agree with you, Lola," J.D. stated.
Eddy nodded. "No kidding. I'm glad I saw the error of my ways, and I don't want all that money. Aside from that, I met and am now in love with the girl of my dreams, and I'm happy with what I have."
Luan was touched. "Aw Eddy."
Luan and Eddy kiss each other.
"AAAAAWWWWWW!" exclaimed everyone.
"Eddy, I'm so happy for you," J.D. said, smiling.
Varie nodded in agreement. "Me too."
"I come from a Royal Family, and I don't want all the fame and notoriety," Anastasia explained. "Money can be either good or bad."
"I agree with everyone," J.D. stated. "That diamond would attract more thieves than anything else. To keep it, we'd have to have security as tight as Fort Knox."
"Yeah," Varie agreed.
Lynn Sr. smiled proudly at them. "I'm proud of you all. Having all the money in the world will not make you popular."
J.D. nodded in agreement. "Mr. Lynn, I agree. There are some things that money cannot buy. Such as love, friendship, and more."
"This diamond is enormous," Lincoln exclaimed.
"We'd better hide this thing," Linka advised.
Lincoln stowed it in his backpack, and the water began to recede.
"Look," Lincoln said, noticing something.
They saw the Pirate Cave that Penny was going to go into.
"Is this the Pirate Cave you were going into, Penny?" Linka inquired.
Penny nodded. "Yeah."
"We just found a back way into the cave," Lincoln noted. "Let's check it out."
As they walked in, Linka noticed a large hole in the floor.
"What is this hole?" Linka inquired.
"That's where the water comes in," Penny explained, "and I'm afraid to go near it."
"So this is how the cave gets flooded," Linka stated. "At high tide, the water splashes into the cave."
"It sounds extremely dangerous," Bernard observed.
"You can drown in here," Ms. Bianca warned.
Lincoln nodded in agreement. "Yeah."
Lincoln and Linka flew over the hole, with Penny on Linka's back, and they saw many chests full of treasure.
"Boy, there's enough treasure here to make anybody rich," Linka pointed out.
Lincoln nodded in agreement. "Yeah."
"Did Medusa have any use for these smaller diamonds?" Bernard wondered.
Penny shook her head. "No. She doesn't want those little ones."
"Penny, how did you know this was a pirate's cave?" Linka asked.
"Him." Penny pointed to the skeleton of a dead pirate who had been there for a long time.
Ms. Bianca gasped in horror and covered her mouth. "Oh, dear!"
Lincoln's eyes widened. "Whoa! He looks like he's been here for a long time."
"Centuries, no doubt," Linka agreed.
"Boy, that skeleton looks hundreds of years old," J.D. remarked.
"I don't recognize him," Varie admitted. "Mermaids are said to be immortal, but I don't know anything about pirates."
"Pirates have been a major problem in the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea for centuries, just as Somali pirates have terrorized the Indian Ocean," J.D. explained. "Wait a minute."
J.D. examined the skeleton more closely and recognized him. "I don't believe it! That is Benjamin Hornigold's skeleton. He went missing in 1719."
"Wow," Lynn Sr. exclaimed. "That's amazing. It's a blast from the past."
Rita was astonished and proud all at the same time. "Lincoln, Linka, and Penny found Benjamin Hornigold's long-lost treasure? Amazing. I'm so proud of them."
Luan widened her eyes, surprised. "And they did it all without a map? Incredible! A TREASURE worth FINDING!" She laughed. "Get it? But seriously, this is amazing."
Eddy laughed. "I get it, and they will go down in history."
"Wow," Laney exclaimed. "This is a huge discovery."
"Lincoln and Linka should bring that skeleton to Lisa for analysis," Lily suggested.
J.D. nodded. "I agree."
He sent them a telepathic message and teleported a body bag and some gloves to them.
Lincoln and Linka placed the skeleton in the bag, which J.D. teleported to them in their dimension. Lisa took it to her laboratory.
"Let's take the treasure with us," Lincoln suggested.
They gathered all of the treasure and placed it in a scroll.
Lincoln and Linka were taught how to store items in scrolls.
Linka stated, "That's all the treasure."
"There's some on the riverboat that I brought to Medusa," Penny explained.
"Those will have to wait," Lincoln explained.
Lincoln saw the sunrise as he looked up through a hole leading to the surface. "It's already dawn."
"Have you thought of an attack plan on Medusa yet?" Linka asked.
Lincoln nodded. "Yes I have. Here's what we do. But first let's get out of here."
As water splashed into the cave, Lincoln, Linka, Penny, Bernard, Ms. Bianca and Evinrude returned to their hiding place.
"High tide just came back in," Lincoln explained.
"Yeah," Linka agreed. "Close one. Okay, bro. What do you got?" She asked him, wondering what his plan was.
Lincoln whispered the plan, and it was a good one.
Lincoln was going to lead a frontal assault with Ellie Mae, Luke, Deadeye, Gramps, Deacon Owl, Bernard, and Ms. Bianca. While Linka and Penny attacked from the air.
At Ellie Mae's house, Lincoln explained the plan.
Penny receives a laser gun from Linka.
"All right, does everyone know what to do?" Lincoln asked.
Ellie Mae nodded. "We sure do."
"Are you ready?" Lincoln asked.
"Ready," everyone replied in unison.
"Sound the charge, Evinrude," Lincoln demanded.
Evinrude made a buzzing sound, "Da-Da-Da-Da-Da-Daaa!"
"CHARGE!" yelled everyone at the same time.
Lincoln ran towards the boat and fired a bolt of lightning, which struck the boat and exploded when it struck the roof, setting the boat on fire.
Medusa and Snoops emerged.
Medusa was armed with a shotgun that was 12 gauge.
Deacon Owl used a firecracker to plug it, and it exploded as she fired. Medusa's rifle was destroyed.
"Eat lightning, Medusa!" Linka exclaimed.
Linka unleashed a bolt of lightning that electrocuted Medusa.
Medusa fled when Penny fired laser beams at her.
Lincoln took all of the treasure Penny had brought from the cave.
As he leaves, Deadeye and Deacon Owl set off all of the fireworks in the engine room at once, turning the area into a war zone.
Linka tamed Medusa's pet crocodiles, Brutis and Nero, and they vanished and went after Lana.
Linka attempted to start Medusa's swamp mobile, but it refused to start.
"What's wrong with this thing?" Linka asked herself.
Lincoln was standing off the side, and Penny clutched Linka's waist.
Medusa grabbed a rope and tried to reach Penny after Linka finally got started. But when Ellie Mae hit Medusa's hands with her rolling pin, she let go and flew away, and Medusa grabbed the rope. She was water skiing without skis. The riverboat burst into flames and sank to the river's bottom.
"That did it!" Lincoln cheered.
"Well, good riddance," Linka exclaimed.
The explosion could be heard all the way to New Orleans.
Boats from the police department were dispatched to the scene.
"When I say "Now," Lincoln, cut the rope," Linka instructed.
Lincoln nodded. "You got it."
Linka shifted her attention to the riverboat. "Now!"
As Linka turned, Lincoln slashed the rope with a lightning bolt, and Medusa skidded across the water, colliding with the engine chimney of the sunk riverboat.
"We did it everyone," Lincoln said, smiling proudly.
Linka was beaming. "Yeah! Mission accomplished!"
"We did it, Bianca!" Bernard exclaimed.
Ms. Bianca clapped her hands together. "Hooray! Oh Bernard! Bernard, you're wonderful!"
As Lincoln, Linka, and Penny drove off into the Morning Sun, Medusa saw that Lincoln had the Devil's Eye Diamond, and she was devastated.
"There goes my," Medusa exclaimed, before sobbing, "Diamond!"
The police arrived and immediately arrested Medusa and Snoops.
They went to the police station in New Orleans and reported driving for a while.
"That was fortunate," Linka remarked.
A police officer approached them. "What can I do for you guys?"
"Yes, officer," Lincoln responded. "We just rescued Penny from Devil's Bayou."
The officer's eyes widened in surprise. "The Devil's Bayou? That place is a death trap. Wait a minute."
The officer's eyes narrowed as he recognized Penny. "You're the orphan girl that disappeared from New York. Penny, right?"
Penny nodded. "Yes, officer."
Linka explained what had happened to the officer. "Madam Medusa kidnapped her and took her to Devil's Bayou in search of Captain Benjamin Hornigold's lost treasure. She was after the Devil's Eye Diamond."
When Lincoln pulled out the diamond, the officer was speechless. "So the legend is true. That diamond has to be worth millions of dollars."
"More than that officer," Lincoln responded.
"You must have heard the explosion from Devil's Bayou," Linka speculated.
The officer stated, "We heard something."
A call occurred over the radio that Madam Medusa and Mr. Snoops had been arrested.
The officer returned his gaze to the kids. "You were right, kids. We've been looking for Madam Medusa for years. She and her partner, Mr. Snoops, are wanted for stealing valuable treasures from pirate caves throughout the Gulf of Mexico."
"Wow!" Lincoln exclaimed. "That's amazing!"
Madam Medusa and Mr. Snoops were brought in and taken into custody.
"That's them officers," Penny confirmed. "They kidnapped me and forced me to find the diamond."
Linka added, "And we rescued Penny from their clutches."
"Well, I'll be," said the officer, amazed. "You guys saved a young life and brought her kidnappers to justice."
Lincoln nodded. "Yeah. My name is Lincoln Loud and this is my twin sister Linka Loud."
The officer gave them a friendly smile. "It's a pleasure to meet both of you. Madam Medusa is also wanted in Alabama, Mississippi, Western Florida, Louisiana, and Southeastern Texas."
In shock, Lincoln's eyes widened. "Wow! She's wanted almost everywhere along the Gulf Coast."
The officer nodded. "Yeah. You all did an excellent job, and Louisiana owes you a huge debt."
Lincoln's head shook. "We had to do what had to be done, officer. We're glad to help."
The news of Medusa's capture spread like wildfire across the country. The Devil's Eye Diamond and the Treasure of Benjamin Hornigold were donated to the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C. It turns out that the Simulator transported Lincoln and Linka to New York and Louisiana.
The best news of Penny's life came the following week in New York City. She was being adopted into the Loud Family, and this was the best day of her life.
For their heroic deeds in the capture of Medusa, Lincoln and Linka were awarded rings for Distinguished Service.
Penny is now a member of the Loud family.
"Lincoln and Linka, I'm very proud of both of you," J.D. said, smiling at them.
Lincoln returned his smile. "Thank you, J.D."
J.D. decided to give them some advice. "Remember this: A true hero is measured not by the number of good deeds they've done or the size of his or her strength and power, but by the strength of his or her heart."
Varie nodded. "That's right."
Lynn Sr. smiled proudly at him. "We are extremely proud of both of you, son. You all saved someone's life."
Penny expressed her gratitude by saying, "I can't thank you enough. Big brother."
Penny wrapped her arms around Lincoln and Linka.
They were all ecstatic that Penny had joined the family.
J.D. beamed the Loud House to his mansion back in Michigan, where Double D helped build an expansion to the house.
The Knudson Estate was forever changed into the Knudson-Loud Estate. J.D. beamed the Santiago-Casagrande house next door to the Louds was perfect for them.
J.D. couldn't be more excited.
Medusa and Mr. Snoops were both found guilty of numerous counts of Grand Theft in five states (10 counts of Grand Theft each in Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Texas). They were both sentenced to 300 years in Florida, 200 years in Alabama, 100 years in Mississippi, 100 years in Louisiana, and 990 years in Texas for Grand Theft for a total of 1,690 years. They were found guilty of Aggravated 1st Degree Kidnapping in New York and were given a life sentence in prison. They were also ordered to pay restitution of $10,000,000.00.
J.D. came up with a great idea for the Rescue Aid Society. Bernard and Ms. Bianca now live in a special room in his mansion, and he built a Pneumatic Tube system to quickly get them to New York if they were called in.
THE END.
