"I swear to all that is holy, if you apologize again–" Bakugou said to Kaylee's reflection in the mirror. He gave one last look to the skin around his right eye, thinking that once the blackish purple bruise settled in good, he'd be a mirror image of fucking Todoroki. She opened her mouth, closed it, then opened it again, and he had to bite his lip to keep from grinning. She looked like a baby bird, all huddled up on a corner of the bed, knees pulled tight to her chest, with a nest of All Might blankets and pillows surrounding her.

"How are you not furious about this?" she moaned, her raspy voice catching on a hiccup. He rolled his eyes, wincing because shit, that did hurt, and turned back to the sink to grab a wet washcloth. He sat on the bed and pulled her to him, gently pressing the cool cloth to her face, hoping to settle her.

"Wait, Katsuki–" she frowned. "Shit, you're comforting me when I'm the one who should be comforting you!" She snatched the cloth from him, instead placing it on his eye, which ok–that actually did feel better.

"Was it the same dream again?" He curled a finger under her chin to get her attention. For the past few weeks, Kaylee's nightmares had steadily increased to the point where neither one of them were getting much sleep, and for the past four nights, she'd had them constantly. He glanced at the clock, it was barely past 1am.

"No, someone was chasing me," she replied. Her dark eyes got a far off look to them. "I don't know who, but I was running down a hallway, and they–they–caught me. I tried to fight them–" she broke off, sobbing softly again. "And instead, I punched you. Oh God, Katsuki–"

"Don't start that again!" He wrapped his arms around her, hugging her close. He peeled the cloth from his eye and used it to wipe her tears.

"Y–You should go back to your room, your bed where you could at least get some slee–"

"Not a chance in hell. I'm not fucking leaving you and I'm not telling you that again!" She cried harder at that, and Bakugou couldn't contain his sigh. Fuck, what kind of weakling did she think he was?

He held her while she sobbed, rubbing circles on her back. Ever since the hero class she'd been allowed to attend, she'd been acting strange. Some of that he could attribute to the lack of sleep and the stress and anxiety her nightmares were causing her. The nightmares were varied–sometimes it was a dream about her mother, sometimes it was her getting taken. There was one particularly nasty one the night before last that she flat out refused to talk about–she'd barely made it to the toilet before she started vomiting. He begged her to go to Recovery Girl, but of course she refused. He instead got her to sip some weak ginger and honey tea.

She'd been spending a lot of time with Mei Hatsume, and while Bakugou was glad that she'd found another friend, he was a little suspicious. Kaylee was very secretive about what they were working on, changing the subject whenever he asked. Then there were her hands–he noticed she often had some bandages wound around her wrists and palms. Kaylee would just laugh it off and chalk it up to the cold weather making the scar tissue ache, or blame it on the project they were working on whenever he asked. She was keeping something from him and he didn't like it, but didn't want to press her on it. Yet.

He heaved another great sigh, wondering what the fuck he could do. He felt so helpless, and that was not an emotion he handled well. Give him something tangible, and he'd blast it off the fucking planet for her without the slightest thought or hesitation. He couldn't fight her nightmares or her fears.

Finally, the quiet sobbing stopped and he felt her shudder, then still. "You should go to Recovery Girl and get that eye checked out," she murmured into his neck.

"Like I'm going to wake that old woman up with a pathetic excuse–"

"Katsuki, I'm serious!"

"So am I, Kaylee!"

"Everyone is going to wander–Oh God, your parents! It won't clear up in time for the holidays and you're going to go home with that and your mother—"

"-will probably laugh her ass off!"

"It's not funny!"

"Actually, when you think about it, it really is!" He grinned at her doubtful expression, her face all blotchy in shades of pink and red. "No one, and I mean NO ONE has ever given me a black eye! And think of how many would kill just to get the chance to do what you did! Songs will be written in your honor."

"I hate that you're just laughing this off–argh! You make me want to punch you again, on purpose!"

He laughed, kissing her hair. "I'll take your fists over your tears anyday."

She gave a wet giggle, then yawned, her breath warm against his skin. He shivered from the contact. "I hate that I'm keeping you up like this. We have that test tomorrow–today," she corrected herself.

He stood up, clutching her tightly, making her squeal with the movement. He tucked them both back in bed, making sure she was in her favorite spot–her back to the wall, with him on the outside. He didn't even think she realized she did it, but she always kept her back protected–even in sleep. Hell, considering what all she'd been through, he'd probably do the same.

"I'm sorry–"

"Kaylee, I just fucking told you–"

"No, not about that, although I am." She leaned over to kiss his nose. "I'm sorry I'm so scared of my quirk. I know I disappointed you earlier today when I told you I don't want to work on figuring out what my glow does anymore."

He reached out for her hand, threading their fingers together and watched as her skin brightened. "I should have punched Deku in the throat for mentioning the Quirk Singularity Doomsday Theory to you at lunch the other day. That's just some bullshit that a bunch of asshole cultists like Humarise–"

"But what if my quirk had caused Mina's to make a type of acid her body couldn't handle?! I didn't mean to get close to her! She wasn't one of our listed targets and I was only near her for a few seconds–half a minute at the most!" Her dark eyes shone with tears. "It's what I dreamed about the other night," she said in a hushed whisper. "I dreamed my quirk caused everyone else's quirk to go haywire and…and…" She trailed off for a minute. Bakugou kept silent, waiting for her to finish. Fuck, he knew it had to have been a hell of a nightmare for her to have the reaction she did.

"Ochako had floated herself so high and she couldn't turn it off. Deku was trying to save her with Black Whip, but instead he ended up choking himself with it. Mina's acid turned into fluoroantimonic acid and it ate her and Kirishima and several others alive. Todoroki's ice froze the rest of the class, including himself." She swallowed. "Mr. Aizawa, Eri.." She cleared her throat. "The last part I saw before I woke up was you–or what was left of you," she shuddered and turned a ghastly shade of green. Bakugou thought she might start vomiting again, and nervously eyed the distance between the bed and the toilet.

"I can't do it anymore. I'm so afraid–"

"Look, I won't say I'm not disappointed, because from what little bit we've figured out so far, your quirk is fucking fantastic! But I've grown up thinking that quirks should be something to be celebrated, and hell, I've been loved and admired, even hated, all my life for how awesome mine is." He kissed the scarred tissue on her palms. "You've known nothing but pain and suffering for yours. It only makes sense that you're afraid."

His heart nearly broke at the look in her eyes. "It's your decision to make, Kaylee. If you don't want to do this, then we won't. If you decide later on that you do–then I'll be right there with you. We'll figure this out–or not–together. You got me?"

He watched, fascinated as a mixture of emotions poured across her face. He meant every single word, it was her choice to make. When she finally parted her lips, he expected another protest, or apology even. He did not expect:

"I love you. I know I've said that before, but I love you so much."

Fuck, now he was struggling to blink back his own tears. "I thought I imagined you telling me that before." He pulled her down to him, kissing her deeply. "I love you too," he said, grinning through the tears as her glow suddenly lit up like the sun.

She wrapped her arms around him, laying her head on his chest, her ear placed right above his heart. They both fell asleep smiling.

"I really wish you'd let me ask Mina for some foundation–" Kaylee begged again for the fifth time that morning as they made their way to class. They'd woken up later than usual, and by the time they left Alliance Heights, most of the students had left. When Kaylee saw how dark the bruising around his eye had gotten, she nearly burst into tears again, but Bakugou just shrugged and continued brushing his teeth.

"It's fine! I'm not wearing any fucking makeup of Pinky's," he replied. "Especially that cheap drugstore shit she buys."

"But Katsuki–"

He kissed her quickly to shut her up. "I'll handle this, ok? Let me do the talking."

"But–"

"It's my turn to talk, remember?" He opened the door to their homeroom, giving her a wink, despite the pain it caused his black eye. "I've got this."

They still had a good ten minutes before class started, and most of the students were milling about in various groups; talking, trading notes, and doing some last-minute studying. No one really looked their way as they walked in. Kaylee was still wringing her hands, but trying valiantly to calm herself.

"Dude, what the fuck happened to you?" Of course Dunce-Face would be the first one to notice. Kaylee stopped dead still in her tracks as suddenly nineteen pairs of eyes were on the pair of them.

"Nice shiner!" Ojiro said. "How'd you get that?"

"Kaylee." Bakugou ignored the shocked gasp next to him.

"Holy woah!"

"DUDE!"

The class erupted into chaos. Bakugou grabbed Kaylee's hand and held it up in victory like she had just won a world heavy-weight boxing match. "Yeah, you all get a good look at this!" He turned his head to make sure the entire class could see. "That's right. League of Villains, Nine, the fucking Serpenter twins, none of those bastards and none of you pathetic extras in three years could get a solid hit on me, but look what Kaylee did!" Bakugou had to fight to keep from laughing at the completely dumbfounded expressions on the entire class' faces. Kaylee seemed to be frozen in shock.

"And do you little shits know how she managed to do the one thing–the ONE THING–" he held up a finger, "-that each of you, hell this entire school, would have killed to do?" He paused for effect.

"BECAUSE I AM A FUCKING AWESOME TEACHER, THAT'S HOW SHE DID IT!"

Silence reigned over the classroom.

Kirishima stood up. Then Kaminari. Deku, Jiro, Ashido, Uraraka, fuck, the entire class stood up and gave Kaylee a standing ovation. The applause was deafening. Bakugou's smile was so big it hurt, but he ignored the pain as he gazed over at Kaylee. She reminded him of an owl, her eyes were so big.

"Nice job, Kaylee!" Kirishima called out.

"WAY TO GO!"

"KAYLEE FOR PRESIDENT!"

Kaylee then smiled, looking at him like he hung the fucking sun. She gave a little bow, then burst into laughter as confetti was thrown over her as she took her seat in the back.

….

Tears poured down Kaylee's cheeks. She didn't even bother with the tissues anymore; she'd gone through enough during the past ten minutes anyway. They surrounded her on the sofa, the floor, and occasionally Momiji would grab one and play with it, batting it around the room.

"Had to be the top floor, right?"

"It's the best."

"Wow, look at Kaylee," Tsu whispered to Ochako. "She didn't even blink at Titanic, but Pretty Woman has her bawling like a baby!"

Mina sniffled from her seat next to Kaylee. "Old movies like this are the best!"

So what happened after he climbed up the tower and rescued her?

She rescues him right back.

Momiji hopped on Kaylee's lap, then climbed up to his favorite spot on her shoulders. He rubbed his nose on her cheek in comfort as Kaylee continued to sob. She buried her fingers in his warm, fluffy fur, and hiccuped tearfully, trying to get herself together.

"Sorry, I think I just needed a good cry," Kaylee said hoarsely to the others. "And this is my new favorite movie!"

The past few weeks had been very trying for Kaylee; the stress and anxiety was making her feel as though she was being ripped apart. When the announcement came that all students were free to spend the extra week's break with their families, Kaylee was heartbroken. It was hard, so hard, to pretend she was excited for everyone when she knew she'd be left alone again. She couldn't even talk to Katsuki about it, because what could he do? He couldn't stay there with her, and she couldn't leave. She'd just make him feel bad, and he probably wanted to visit with his family–she knew he had a large extended family and they had a huge New Years celebration. Eri and Mr. Aizawa were going to visit his family, and again, Kaylee tried to keep a happy face on for Eri, who had no idea her heart was breaking at the thought that this time, Kaylee would be completely alone.

Added to her misery was the lack of sleep due to her nightmares, which had increased. She hated them, hated the fact that she couldn't get them to go away, hated the fact that they kept both her and Katsuki up with them–although she felt as though her heart would burst with joy when he refused to let her sleep alone. Even though it had been so many hours ago, Kaylee could still see the image of Katsuki writhing on the floor, clutching his eye. God, she thought she'd seriously hurt him, or worse.

Katsuki just wore that bruise like a mark of honor, bragging about it every chance he got. Kaylee was still in shock over the whole classroom incident.

By the end of third period, the entire school had been stopping by to congratulate her on her achievement, even the teachers. All Might made a point of pulling her aside in the hallways to talk about his favorite smashes, and asked her if she'd named hers yet. Bakugou burst into gales of laughter, clutching his sides, when she'd told him that later on at lunch. Pretty soon, everyone in earshot was shouting out names for her ultimate smash move. It was one of the strangest school days Kaylee could recall.

"What should we watch next?" Mina asked. Apparently, Kaylee hadn't been able to hide all her fear and anxiety as well as she thought. A few of the girls had decided that she needed cheering up, so an impromptu movie night was declared that evening. The rest of the class was out and about, mostly training or studying. Kirishima and Sero had begged Katsuki to help them work on a new quirk move that they needed for extra credit.

"I'm good with this again," Kaylee said, adjusting the pillows behind her to get more comfortable. She winced as her sore palms ached with the movement.

"You ok?" Damn it, Ochako must have noticed her wince.

Kaylee smiled brightly. "I'm fine. I've been helping Mei with some projects and I kinda twisted my wrist a little bit. Nothing to worry about."

Mina took a bite of popcorn. "You've been hanging out in the R&D wing quite a bit. You're not looking to transfer to the support course, are you?" she teased.

"Mei's fun," Kaylee grinned. "Plus, I like helping her build things." It was true, she had formed an easy friendship with Mei Hatsume, who was just so full of energy. Mei's quirk was called Zoom, and she could focus on objects with precision. Kaylee felt safe to be around her–Mei's quirk didn't seem capable of harming anyone.

Ochako reached over to grab a handful of popcorn. "She is great at what she does. I just wish she could do it without being so handsy with Deku." Kaylee had to laugh at the scowl on her face.

"If it makes you feel any better, Mei's interest in Deku is purely professional," Kaylee told her. "She's got a crush on someone in 3-B."

"OOOH!" All three girls were now way more focused on Kaylee than the movie. She swallowed nervously. Maybe she wasn't supposed to say anything, but it was a great feeling, knowing something that the rest didn't. Kaylee never had much to contribute to gossip, most of the time, she would just listen and nod her head politely.

"Who is it?" Mina shrieked. "I bet it's Shinso, or Awase–they're both the best looking boys in that class."

"Could be a girl though," Ochako said. "Tokage and Shiozaki are both gorgeous too!"

All three got quiet as they mulled over that. "She never told me who," Kaylee said. "But it was someone she liked since the Sports Festival last year."

She sat back and laughed as the group analyzed who it could be, while the movie played in the background, hoping Mei wouldn't mind too much being the topic of discussion. Knowing Mei, she'd probably join right in.

Once the credits rolled for a second time–Kaylee was proud to say she didn't cry nearly as much—they started cleaning up.

"I cannot wait to go home and get my mom's home cooking!" Tsu said. "She makes the greatest Anpan!"

"I know!" Ochako chimed in as she started loading the dishwasher. "I'll have time to visit with my grandparents too, just before I go to the Midoriya's–" she turned to Kaylee to explain, "-Deku said he's going to take me to his house so we can watch the sun rise on New Year's Day and I'll get to visit with him and his mother."

"Have you met her before?" Kaylee wondered. Her heart gave another strong, painful lurch at the thought of being unable to spend that time with Katsuki. He had explained to her all the Japanese New Year's traditions, such as cleaning right before the holiday, the special foods served during that time, and waking up to watch the sun rise.

Ochako's expression turned apologetic, and Kaylee wondered if she could see the sadness reflected in her eyes. She smiled to encourage her. It wasn't her fault that Kaylee couldn't leave UA. "Only a few times. She's so sweet, and funny, and oh–" Ochako leaned in conspiratorially, "she's told me she's going to show me some more of Deku's baby pictures! There's one that he absolutely hates–he keeps having to hide it everytime I come over. Mrs. Midoriya told me it's a picture of when he and Bakugou were in kindergarten together."

And before Kaylee could realize her error, she squealed, "Oh, Katsuki had the same reaction when he found out I saw it. It's the most adorable thing ever!"

Silence reigned as all three girls stared at her. Tsuyu dropped the entire bag of popcorn she was holding. Mina's eyes were like saucers.

Kaylee closed her eyes, silently calling herself every bad name she could think of in three languages.

"You've seen it?" Ochako cried. "How have you seen it? Who showed it to you?!"

Heart pounding in fear, Kaylee tried to laugh it off. "Oh, Katsuki's mom and I had been talking, it started over the summer, and she texted me–"

"SHE TEXTED IT TO YOU?" Ochako's voice rose several octaves with each word, making the others wince with the screeching sound. "YOU STILL HAVE IT?"

Kaylee froze.

As if in slow motion, all four girls' eyes went to the sticker covered phone that was laying on the couch.

….

Kirishima plopped an arm around Bakugou's shoulders, shaking him slightly. "Thanks for helping us out tonight, man! You really saved our asses!"

"Tch." Bakugou grunted, shrugging him off.

Sero agreed. "Kirishimia's right. I think we'll have enough points now to pass the exam with a little bit of breathing room."

"If you idiots would listen to Ectoplasm's lectures more…" Bakugou began.

"It's not my fault!" Sero protested. "I used to copy off of Jiro's notes, but once Kaminari found out I was getting better grades than he was, he put a stop to it." He kicked a stone in the pathway, grumbling, "Little shit's been doing the same exact thing."

Bakugou let out a bark of laughter. When Kirishima and Sero practically begged him to help them tonight, he almost told them to both go to hell, wanting to spend the time with Kaylee instead. He'd changed his mind when he overheard Ashido telling Kirishima that she, Uraraka and Asui wanted to have a girls' night with Kaylee–and figured Kaylee could use a bit of time with her friends. She'd been under so much stress, she could use a bit of a break.

Plus, he could use the assholes as punching bags to relieve some of his own. So, it all worked out great.

"Dude, you ok?" Sero and Kirishima prodded, jerking him from his thoughts.

"He's sad because he's going to be without Kaylee for two weeks–"

"Oh, dude that fucking sucks–" Bakugou shouldered both of them aside in response. He was not in the mood to think about that either.

Sero suddenly fell to his knees, fists clenched. "ALL BY MYSELF–" he shouted, "DON'T WANNA BE–ARGH!"

Bakugou shoved Sero face down into the pavement, managing to suppress a small smile at the black haired boy's groan of pain.

He pulled the door to Alliance Heights.

The sound of squeals, laughter, and outright screaming greeted them.

"What the fuck?" Sero said as the three of them dashed into the common area.

It was chaos. There was a small half-circle of Mineta, Iida, Todoroki, Tokoyami, and Kaminari, all who appeared to be in various stages of shock, although Mineta looked like his biggest fantasy had just come true.

"What the hell is going on here?" Kirishima asked. Todoroki looked at the three of them, then pointed wordlessly at what was on the floor in front of the sofa.

Bakugou had to blink several times to understand what the fuck he was seeing. Only the pale, glowing skin identified a laughing, panting Kaylee, who was struggling under a pile of girls–Uraraka, Asui, and Ashido, while Yaoyorozu was kneeling beside them, trying feebly to pry them apart. Kaylee had Uraraka's wrists in a strong grip, and even Bakugou was impressed with her strength–he knew how tough Uraraka was.

"Iida, Todoroki," Yaoyorozu pleaded to her boyfriend and class rep. "Help me!"

"No." Todoroki shook his head.

"I–I–wouldn't even know where to grab," Iida stuttered, face flushing.

Mineta had a dark battle aura surrounding him, which contrasted greatly with the bloody nose, and lecherous expression on his face. "I have been waiting three years–THREE GODDAMNED YEARS–for something like this to happen! If anyone does anything to break this up, I will KILL you!"

"Dude, look at yourself, it's gross!" Kaminari said. He turned to Bakugou. "You going to do something, buddy?"

Bakugou gaped. "What the hell happened? Why's Uraraka attacking Kaylee?"

"Give it to me, Kaylee! I need it!" Uraraka squealed, struggling even harder to escape Kaylee's grip.

"Never, Ochako!"

"Yes, Kaylee–" Mineta said. "Give it to her, give it to her good!" Blood was now gushing from his nose. Bakugou slapped the back of his head.

Kaminari shrugged. "We heard the screaming and this is what we found. I have no idea what's going on, but I have to agree with the little guy," he pointed at Mineta, "This is hot!"

A sliding door opened from the courtyard, and Deku strolled in, looking like he'd been out training as well.

"Holy woah! What's going on here?" His mouth fell open as he took in the scene.

Mineta was panting at this point. Drool dripped from the corner of his mouth. "This is the most perfect moment of my life." He closed his eyes. "Nothing could make this better."

"Jello." Sero's expression was almost as lecherous as Mineta's.

"What?"

"Jello," Sero repeated, his eyes never leaving the scene on the floor. "Jello would make this better. A big pool of jello." His face was just as red, and Bakugou could see a drip of blood forming from his nose.

"What color of jello?" This from Tokoyami. Did birds have nosebleeds?

"Green."

Bakugou's mouth fell open at the comment from Deku. "Deku! What the hell?"

Deku turned to him, his freckles nearly invisible against his flushed cheeks. "Well, red would look like blood, Kacchan, which would be gross," he chuckled nervously. "But green jello–"

"Or blue," Todoroki joined in. "Blue would be nice."

"Tsu," Ochako called out, still struggling with Kaylee. "That better be your tongue!"

Bakugou suddenly felt his own body temperature rise, and fuck–he quickly put his hands in his pockets to adjust himself. Furtive glances at the rest of the males told him that they were all experiencing a similar condition.

"Should we break this up?" Deku asked hesitantly.

"GIVE. ME. YOUR. PHONE!" Uraraka panted over Kayle in a final last effort to wrestle her arms loose from Kaylee's grip. Despite the erotic scene, Bakugou was damned proud–Kaylee was holding her own and smart enough to know that if the brunette managed to touch her with her palms, she'd use her quirk and float her.

"Why do you want her phone?" Both Deku and Bakugou said in unison.

The girls finally noticed they had an audience.

"Don't let them get my phone," Kaylee shrieked. Fuck she was fast; she managed to shove Uraraka off her and toss something at Bakugou's head before he could blink. He caught it reflexively. He held it in a death grip as he stared at the device.

"What's on the phone?" Mineta strolled over to get a look. "Is it nude pictures?"

"Get that phone, Deku!" Uraraka cried, as she landed on top of Asui and Mina, all who squealed in laughter.

"Wait, Ochako–" Deku began, turning to Bakugou, who quickly faced the nerd in a battle stance. "Why are we after Kaylee's phone?"

"It's got some sort of picture on it," Mina said. "I want to see it!"

Bakugou paled. "YOU SAID YOU DELETED THAT PICTURE!" he roared. Kaylee managed to look slightly guilty, but was still laughing.

"I did! Well, sort of." She shrugged. "It just stayed in the deleted pictures folder and I haven't emptied it yet."

Bakugou let out a groan.

"What picture, Kacchan?" Deku suddenly paled. "What picture? Surely you don't mean that picture! How would Kaylee have even seen it?"

"The hag. She sent it to Kaylee."

"YOUR MOM?!" Deku recovered quickly enough to shout. Even Bakugou flinched. "Do you realize how often I've had to destroy that photo–my mother keeps making copies, and now your–" Green lightning sparkled around Deku's body. "-your mother just sends it around to everyone like it's nothing!"

"I want to see it!" Uraraka shouted. "I've begged, and bribed, and–"

Kaylee sighed dreamily. "They were both so adorable in their little bunny outfits!"

"Bunny outfits?"

"What in the world?"

"Shit, I have to see this picture!"

Bakugou pinched his nose. "Damn it, Kaylee–I keep telling you they were All Might onesies!" If he hadn't been so exhausted/aroused/exasperated, he would have laughed at the incredulous look on Deku's face. He looked apoplectic. His mouth opened and closed wordlessly.

The entire room shook as a loud noise blasted through. Bakugou nearly dropped the phone.

"WHAT THE FUCK?" Jiro stood at the base of the stairs, her face covered in some sort of green gel. Her earphone jacks were plugged into the floor and she looked ready to murder.

"I tried to tell them, babe, that you were trying to sleep!" Kaminari pointed at everyone. Bakugou snorted as a drop of blood fell from his nose and landed on the floor. "I told them to be quiet!"

Jiro ignored him and stomped back up the stairs. Kaminari followed her, sticking his tongue out and giving everyone a smug thumbs up.

Iida seemed to recover himself, although his face was still very much flushed. "Right. Everyone to bed!"

"NO!" Mineta cried, a river of tears exploding from his eyes, drenching the floor. "This can't be over so soon! Did anyone film it?" Tsu and Sero both had him wrapped up and marched him up the stairs before he could say another word.

Tokoyami followed. "I'll be in my bunk."

Deku's mouth opened and closed soundlessly. He glared at Bakugou as more green lightning shot from his body. "DELETE THAT PHOTO!" he screeched.

Fuck, Deku would make an awesome villian.

"WAIT!" Uraraka wailed. Bakugou glanced up to see Deku wrap her up in Black Whip.

"Oh," Kaylee pouted, dusting herself off and straightening her clothes. Bakugou gave her a glare, and she quickly turned her head, looking guilty. "That was my favorite picture."

Deku wouldn't rest until Bakugou showed him the photo and watched him delete it.

"You know, the hag threatens to put it on a billboard when I become the number one hero," Bakugou stated plainly. "And I bet your mom is just as bad."

Deku scoffed. "I'll deal with that when I'm number one."

"Tch."

Kaylee felt as though her lungs would burst. Her mouth opened in a silent scream. She rolled around, trying to fight off her attacker.

"Kat–Katsuki–" she gasped. "I give up!"

Katsuki's nimble fingers were everywhere, gently pinching her sides, tickling behind her knees, the back of her neck.

"Bunny ears! You keep on saying they're bunny ears!" She rolled over, struggling to get away from the tickle monster. "First they were calling me 'Beyonce,' now it's 'Bunny Ears Bakugou!'"

"But it looks like bunny ears–" Kaylee gasped, her chest hurting from laughing so hard as Katsuki tickled her relentlessly. She tried to crawl away, but he just grabbed her legs, ducking as she tried to kick him, and sat on them. Her face hurt from laughing, but it was a good ache.

"It's All Might's HAIR!"

After the fight–or whatever that was–downstairs, Kaylee had worried that Katsuki would be angry with her about the picture. She knew she should have deleted it, but there was something about it that was just so adorable and wholesome, she just couldn't do it right away. Instead, the moment they got to the room, he'd tackled her again, tickling her within an inch of her life.

"His hair?" she gasped out breathlessly. "I honestly thought it was part of his costume somehow. Like antennas or something."

He sat back on his heels, leaning over her with a big grin, crimson eyes sparkling with mirth. "No, dummy. It's his hair."

"How? Does he use like some super hairspray?" Kaylee gave another giggle at the thought of All Might spraying his hair every morning to get it to stand out like that.

"What? No!" Katsuki looked horrified at the mere idea.

"Oh! It's his quirk, right? That's what's making his hair stand up like that!"

Katsuki threw his head back, groaning. "It's not his quirk!"

"But his hair doesn't stand out like that now," Kaylee explained, sitting up.

"He lost his powers," Katsuki stood up, holding out a hand for her to take and pulling her up.

"So, it is his quirk!" She went to her dresser, pulling out her pajamas.

"GAH!" Kaylee laughed as he threw his hands up in the air in frustration, then grabbed his toothbrush to start getting ready for bed. She smiled as she heard the frantic sounds of him brushing his teeth–she had no idea how many toothbrushes he went through in a month, but figured the amount he spent was probably equal to Japan''s military defense budget.

She suddenly had a thought. "Oh, I know–"

Katsuki turned to her, pointing, "You are not going to ask All Might, the Symbol of Peace, why his hair stands up!" His words were slightly muffled around the toothbrush in his mouth.

Kaylee frowned. "His voice changes too–it goes deeper."

He shook his head as he finished brushing his teeth, then made his way to the drawer he'd somehow claimed in her dresser, frowning as he noted it was empty. "Shit, I forgot to do laundry today." And before Kaylee could even think straight, he pulled his black hooded skull sweatshirt over his head and pulled down his jeans, kicked off his slippers and flopped on the bed, folding his arms behind his head.

Her mouth fell open. She stared at him in shock as she took in the sight before her. Katsuki now only had a pair of black boxers that contrasted with his lightly tanned skin. The tingly feeling she sometimes got when they were kissing returned tenfold and she felt a warm rush of heat flood her entire body.

"What is it? Why aren't you getting ready for bed?"

"You–You're going to sleep like that?" Kaylee winced at the squeaky sound of her voice.

He frowned at her. "Why, what's wrong?"

She gestured to him–"You're practically naked! How can I sleep with you like–like that!" She barely choked out the word 'naked,' wondering if she could just spontaneously combust.

Katsuki suddenly sat up, and the grin he gave her practically had her melting. "If it bothers you–" oh God, his voice lowered into pure seduction and Kaylee's breath quickened. "-then maybe you're wearing too much!"

The pajamas she was clutching fell to the floor with a quiet thump. Kaylee was in a heightened state of awareness, and she didn't fully understand what was going on, but the heated expression in Katsuki's eyes…

"Go on, Kaylee. I dare you."

Stiffening with determination, she hastily snatched off her shirt, toed off her slippers, and shimmied out of her jeans before she could change her mind. The air was cool against her skin, and she shivered slightly. Raising her head, she looked at Katsuki, who had somehow moved closer to the foot of the bed.

"Fuck. You're beautiful."

The heat in his voice made her knees weak. The look in his eyes as he gazed at her made her heart thunder in her chest. He was the one that was beautiful, Kaylee thought. Even the dark purple skin around his eye couldn't take away from that.

The way he looked at her made her believe it.

"I'm not like the others–like Momo, or Ochako," she glanced down at her small breasts encased in a light blue bra with a tiny pink bow in the middle.

"I'm glad," Katsuki replied, moving closer on his hands and knees to the end of the bed. "You're perfect." He grinned mischievously. "Besides, can you imagine the back problems they're going to have when they get older?"

Kaylee choked on a gasp of laughter.

"Can I–" he swallowed as though he needed to breathe, "Can I touch you?"

She moved closer, as though in a trance. She couldn't look away from him, the fire in his eyes as he reached out with a hand–was it shaking?-and gently, almost reverently touched a fingertip to the hollow of her neck. Goosebumps shot out from his touch, as he traced a line down the middle of her breasts, catching for a moment on the tiny pink bow on her bra, down over her stomach to the matching bow at the band of her panties.

She swallowed nervously. She wasn't too sure what she should be doing, should she be touching him too? She wanted to, but she was hesitant for some reason. It was so strange, as much as they've kissed and caressed each other over the past few months, it was always with a layer of clothing between them and now it was so, so, different.

"Is this ok?" He splayed his fingers, letting them rest on her hip. His palm was so warm against her skin.

"Yes," she whispered, her fingers itching to touch him somewhere, anywhere.

"I'd wondered…thought about it…dreamed about it…if you glowed all over."

"You imagined me? Like this?"

"Fuck, you have no idea how many times," he pulled her closer. "Will you–oh shit, I don't know how to ask this–will you tell me if I do something wrong? I don't want to hurt you."

"You could never hurt me."

He cupped her cheek, running his thumb across her lips. "I should have asked you this long before now, but did they–did those bastards–"

Kaylee answered before he could finish. "No. No they didn't. No one's ever…not until you." Katsuki closed his eyes for a moment. Kaylee swallowed, her throat tight. "Have…has anyone….with you?"

"No," he kissed her, his teeth gently biting her lower lip. "Not until you."

Kaylee pulled back in disbelief. "What, seriously?"

"Mmmm," he wound his hands in her hair to bring her close again. Kaylee's eyes almost crossed as his teeth grazed over her throat, gently sucking on the skin there. "No one I wanted."

"I find that hard to believe," she whispered, finally giving in to her desire to touch him, feeling him shiver slightly as she ran her hands up the bare skin of his back.

"I have impossibly high standards," he murmured against her. "Only the best for me."

"I guess I can say the same?" She smiled as she felt him chuckle against her, then she stiffened slightly once she felt him–all of him. Her breath hitched in her throat. She knew what it was, had even felt it before, especially in the mornings when he wasn't quite awake, but this time was so very, very different. Kaylee suddenly had images of every romantic movie she'd seen recently, not to mention all those links that Mineta had texted her over the summer. She'd clicked on one before she could stop herself…oh, what was she supposed to do now?

"Hey, hey." Kaylee jerked from her thoughts to realize she'd somehow taken a step back. Shit, now she felt absoutely stupid. "You ok?" Katsuki asked.

"Sorry, I just—I don't know what I'm supposed to do! I mean, Mina showed me all these movies: Fifty Shades, Dirty Dancing, 9 ½ Weeks, and I know you told me not to, but I accidentally clicked on one of those links that Mineta sent me over the summer, and I feel like I should be doing something but I don't know where to begin–"

"Holy shit–you watched all of that?" Katsuki flopped back on the bed, his chest heaving with laughter.

Kaylee stamped her foot in anger. "It's not funny, Katsuki!" She watched his bare chest flex up and down. She had to fight the urge to reach out and touch him, but she wasn't sure if she wanted to caress him or give him another black eye.

"Sorry, sorry–" he croaked, still wheezing. Kaylee scowled down at him as she crawled up on the bed. "I just–God, I've agonized over this for months! I've been so hesitant with you, not wanting you to get frightened or freak out on me, and meanwhile, you've been–" he gasped for breath, tears falling from his eyes. "-You've been–" his voice trailed off into something completely incoherent, but Kaylee swore she heard the words "Christian Grey" and "Red Room."

"I guess I just killed the mood, didn't I?" It was hard to stay mad, especially when she'd never seen him laugh so hard and Kaylee found herself giggling along with him.

"No," he gasped, finally sitting up and scooting to sit next to her at the head of the bed. He leaned over to kiss her again, but started chuckling again and it ended up being more ticklish than sexy.

"Katsuki!"

"I just thought–here you were all worried about the size of your tits compared to Yaoyorozu's and Uraraka's and fuck–you've seen real actual professional porn cock! I think I'm the one who needs to worry about sizes and expectations!"

Kaylee blurted out, "You forget I've slept next to you for a while now, I think you're selling yourself short." Her face flamed once she realized what she said.

Katsuki let out another gale of laughter. Kayle buried her face in his neck, giggling madly.

When their chuckles died down, Kaylee realized she was now completely pressed against him and she stilled, her breath hitching.

"Can I touch you?" She asked, raising her head to look at him.

"Fuck, yes."

Her hand slightly shook as she touched his bare shoulder, caressing the web of scars that marred the otherwise smooth skin. He drew in a harsh breath.

"Does this hurt?"

"No," came the raspy reply. "Fuck, no. You're not hurting me, but I don't think I'm going to survive this."

Kayle looked up at him to gauge his reaction, but his eyes were focused on her hand.

"So fucking gorgeous," Katsuki whispered harshly.

"No you are," she replied. It was a heady feeling, having someone as strong and powerful as Katsuki almost completely in thrall under her. Kaylee explored his upper body at her leisure, with both hands now, marveling at the soft, smooth skin, frowning at the many scars that interrupted her path. She could feel his heartbeat, his chest rise and fall with each heavy breath. He visibly shuddered when her fingers traced over a tightly puckered nipple.

Her own breathing was harsh as well, her breasts felt tight inside her bra, her panties soaked. She ached between her thighs. That tingly throbbing feeling she sometimes got when they kissed was in full force now, and Kaylee had to pause for a moment as well to gather herself before continuing on.

"Still ok?"

Katsuki nodded. Her eyes trailed down his stomach, and Kaylee's eyes widened as she saw the outline of his cock tenting through the thin black fabric, the head nearly peeking through the waistband. Oh, he definitely could compete with the ones she'd seen online.

"Katsuki–" Kaylee marveled at the sound of her own voice. "-can I–"

"Oh please–" his voice trailed off as her hand slid down and she grasped him in her hand. He was firm, the skin smooth, and hot–God, the skin was so hot. There was moisture at the tip, and she ran her forefinger over it, marveling at the texture. The cool fabric of his boxers on the back of her hand conflicted with the heat of him in her palm.

Katsuki moaned. "Please, Kaylee–" His hips had started moving, and Kaylee gripped him tighter, stroking him as he started a steady rhythm. "Here, let me show you–" His hand joined hers as he showed her what he liked.

He bucked faster in her grip, moisture now leaking profusely from the head. His body suddenly tightened, his back bowed, and Kaylee's eyes widened as he began to pulse in her hand. Thin ropes of white fluid dotted his lower abdomen.

"Wow," she gasped, completely in awe of what just happened. She gazed at Katsuki in amazement. His face was red, his lower lip had teeth marks, and his eyes were completely glassed over in bliss.

"That was so beautiful," she panted breathlessly. She pulled her hand from his softening cock, gasping when he grabbed it and placed it on his chest to where his heart beat was still thundering.

He nodded. "C'mere," he sighed, cupping her face to pull him to her. He kissed her, his tongue tangling with hers for a brief moment. "Thank you," he said in between messy kisses.

He reached across her, fiddling around for the washcloth from that morning. He carefully wiped her hand then his stomach and threw it across the room.

"I like touching you," Kaylee whispered, watching the discarded cloth fall on the dirty clothes hamper. "I like it a lot."

"Anytime," he whispered back, his voice still hoarse. "Just give me a moment though. I want to take care of you too."

Kaylee smiled, thinking that if he could make her feel anything close to what he just felt…

A few more moments later, Katsuki's breaths turned into soft snoring.

Kaylee sighed, her body still on fire. She eventually fell asleep. There would be no nightmares for her, at least for that night.
