AN: Don't hate me for disappearing, but hopefully that was only a brief respite. As always characters that are recognizable belong to Ms. JKR herself.

The summer was going by smoothly, Ophelia loved living with her brother and he enjoyed having her equally as much. The lot of them had just returned from America, where Malcolm's girlfriend, Rebekah had shown them around. Nothing made Malcolm happier than seeing his two favorite girls get along. His only wish was that his parents accept Rebekah in the same way.

Ophelia saw Rebekah as the older sister, best friend, role model, all in one. She told the latter everything about her relationship with Tom and her parents. Rebekah offered advice where she could and tried to help Ophelia with her dilemma. During the summer Ophelia introduced Tom to her brother and his girlfriend properly. They both liked him and thought of him as a perfect fit for the younger Dumbledore. Malcolm did think there was something off about Tom, but decided to keep it to himself after a conversation with Rebekah.

The trio were sitting around the tv after unpacking from their trip having a laugh when an owl flew in and dropped a letter on the table. Malcolm and Ophelia recognized the owl as belonging to their father. As she opened it, Ophelia rolled her eyes and began to read,

Dear Malcolm and Ophelia,

I have tried to write to you several times, but seeing as Eilwen was unable to locate you, I assume you were out of the country. Your mother and I would have preferred to have been aware of your movements as Ophelia, you are still underage. No matter, as you have undoubtedly returned, we would like to see you both for dinner in two days time. Matthew has already agreed and we will be setting two places for you both as well. Ophelia, your mother is very much looking forward to seeing you and misses you dearly.

All my love,

Dad

"They are so annoying." Ophelia said, dropping the letter on the ground and falling back into her seat.

"Well no matter, I don't think we have a choice, we have to go." Malcolm replied while examining the letter "although I think I'll have to write back and inform them they'll be needing to set three places." he continued.

Ophelia's eyes went wide and she looked straight at Rebekah, "wait- does this mean what I think it does?"

"Depends what you think it means?" Rebekah asked, smiling "Malcolm's finally going to introduce you isn't he?" Ophelia half asked and half answered.

"Yes Phe, I am. Like you said, there's no better time like the present." Malcolm replied.

The two days flew by quickly, the trio spent their time falling back into their summer routines. Work at the ministry for Malcolm and Rebekah and studying with Riddle for Ophelia. As evening rolled around so did Ophelia's complaining.

"Malc, I really don't want or think its a good idea for me to tag along." she groaned, working as slowly as she could to get the finishing touches on herself completed.

Looking over at her Malcolm responded "Really Phe, do you think I can't see what you're trying to do. Besides, it doesn't matter because I promised Mum and Dad I'd bring you to visit. You're not getting out of this one kiddo."

"Points for trying Phe!" Rebekah called out. Eventually the three of them made their way to the living room ready to apparate to McGonagall manor.

"Alright then, everyone on three? I'd like for us to all arrive at the same time," Malcolm asked, seeing both his girlfriend and sister nod, he began his countdown, "one, two, three" and just like that they were off.

Rebekah was in awe of how large McGonagall manor actually was. Of course, Malcolm had explained the various different rooms and wings, but this was more than even she could imagine. Reality was finally catching up to her and the fact that she was about to meet two extremely powerful and influential wizards, who had a certain proclivity to be wary of Americans.

Nevertheless, she looked to her right at her boyfriend and took his arm as he smiled at her. And to her left stood Ophelia. She'd only known the girl for a month or so, but was taken by her intelligence and maturity. Rebekah loved Ophelia like a little sister.

Ophelia's voice broke Rebekah out of her thoughts, "I think I'm going to be sick." Looking at her Rebekah asked "Literally from the apparition, or figuratively?"

"Honestly could be both, at this point my mind is swirling at the thought of tonight and I so wish Tom was here." she replied. To this all Rebekah could do was laugh.

"Well girls, are we ready?" Malcolm asked, already knowing the answer. He walked up to the door, Ophelia at his side and Rebekah slightly hidden behind the two.

Matthew opened the door with a smirk on his face, "Hi Malc, Phe," he said with a nod before continuing, "and don't think you can hide from me Bekah I could spot that smile miles away." he finished pushing past his siblings to give Rebekah a hug and kiss on the cheek.

"Okay Matt, forever the flirt." Rebekah responded while returning his affections.

"You say flirt, I say charmer." he winked.

"Once you're done fawning over my girlfriend perhaps you could greet us as well." Malcolm called out. "Ah yes my dear brother and sister. I will say you've outdone yourself Malc, with Bekah, as she could definitely do better." Matthew teased, giving his older brother a hug.

"And you my dear," he said turning to Ophelia, "you've caused quite the uproar in this family haven't you with this Riddle character?" Matthew commented, opening his arms for a hug. Ophelia rolled her eyes, but returned his hug, "he's not a character, he's my boyfriend thank you very much."

"No matter," Matthew started, arm around his sister, "soon there'll be a different couple at the center of heated discussion." This earned him a slap against the head from his older brother.

"Mum, we're here." Malcolm called out not wanting to continue the conversation with his brother for much longer.

"In the family room darling." came Minerva's terse reply. Malcolm grabbed Rebekah's hand and began walking.

Hanging back, Matthew and Ophelia looked at each other, "this is going to be a shit show isn't it?" Ophelia asked. "Oh it certainly is AND I made popcorn." Matthew winked, grabbing his sister's arm and following.
