as everyone looked to see the falling feathers, the bijūs realized what was going on.
"Naruto genjutsu!" Kokuō yelled.
as Naruto dispelled the genjutsu, in the kage's booth the kazekage looked at Hiruzen.
"Hokage, what is-" He was unable to finish that sentence, as a kunai was thrown into his skull, killing him instantly.
"KAZEKAGE-SAMA!" one of his bodyguards yelled out.
it was then, that the booth was surrounded by a barrier jutsu.
"hello Hiruzen."
everyone looked to see who said that.
"Danzo." Hiruzen said with a scowl.
"yes, it is me."
"what have you done?" Hiruzen said with anger in his voice.
"if you must know, I've teamed up with your student Orochimaru."
"you've fallen low, old friend."
"I'm not afraid to do what is necessary to put Konoha on top."
"by destroying it?"
"I don't need to explain my reasons for doing what must be done, especially not to a dead man." Danzo said with a glare.
"fine, then I will do what is necessary to protect MY village."
Danzo said nothing, he only continued to unravel his bandages.
Naruto quickly dispelled the genjutsu placed on him, then on Lee.
Lee slowly opened his eyes "Naruto, what's going on?"
"I have no clue."
it was then 10 masked figures surrounded the duo.
one of them spoke up "Uzumaki Naruto, you are coming with us."
"like hell I will."
the figures then rushed at the blonde.
Manda looked around the place he was summoned "so this is where I'll get my sacrifices, very well."
Tsunade looked up to see the giant purple snake "Orochimaru." she said with venom in her voice.
Shizune was shivering "Tsunade-sama what do we do?"
with determination in her voice she said "you deal with the hospital, I'll get help."
Shizune nodded and ran off.
Tsunade made some hand seals and bit her finger, drawing blood.
it was then a white and blue slug appeared "hey Tsunade, how's it been?"
"hey Katsuyu, I need a little help."
the purple snake looked at the slug, hissing in anger.
"hey Manda, how are you doing you old reptile?"
"who are you calling old, you hag?"
the slug grew a tick mark in anger "oh, you're dead."
the slug then charged at the snake
as Naruto, along with Lee, were dealing with the mysterious figures.
"dynamic entry."
it was then, they saw they're respective senseis kick a figure in the face, shattering its mask.
"Kakashi-sensei!"
"Guy-sensei!"
the senseis looked at their respective students.
"what's going on?" the blonde asked.
"long story short, we're being invaded, by Otogakure and some unknown party. we need you and Lee to head towards the academy, understood?" the copy nin said with absolute seriousness.
the two nodded and headed off without saying another word.
once the two were outside, they saw a giant slug fighting a giant snake.
"ah fuck, it's that whore."
"not the time Saiken." 'not the time Saiken.'
"Lee, you go up ahead, I'll catch up."
Naruto then made some hand seals and bit his finger, drawing blood.
it was then a giant toad with a pipe in its mouth appeared.
"okay, why was I summoned?"
"hey 'Bunta, could use your help."
"ugh, fine. hey manda."
the Snake lord looked over to the toad "you've got to be kidding me."
the slug did the same "oh hey Gamabunta, how's it been?"
"It's been good, but that's not important, let's beat this old reptile."
"why do you both keep calling me old? we're the same age."
Naruto left to head to the academy.
as Kakashi and Guy fought off the oto invaders one of them yelled threw a bunch of shurikens at the duo.
said shurikens were blocked by sand.
Kakashi looked to see the suna team that entered the exam.
the jonin of the group, Baki, went up to the two "look, our kazekage is currently entrapped in the booth by some barrier jutsu, we're not leaving until we get him back." he said not knowing that his kazekage was long gone.
the duo nodded in understanding.
Iruka clutched his arm in pain.
the oto nin he was fighting laughed as he pulled out a kunai "ready to-"
he was then suddenly punched by a sand hand.
the chunin looked towards the blonde "Naruto!"
"are you okay, Iruka-sensei?"
Iruka nodded, seeing the green spandex wearing individual next to him "yes, but we need to hurry. the kids are in danger."
the two nodded, quickly following their former sensei.
"fireball jutsu" the professor said.
the darkness of Shinobi dodged the attack and retaliated with "great air bullet"
unfortunately for the hokage, he wasn't able to dodge this attack.
'argh dammit.' "shuriken shadow clone."
multiple shurikens then had hit the war hawk.
but to Hiruzen's surprise, Danzo quickly healed from them.
Danzo mentally smirked "Hashirama's cells are amazing aren't they?"
Hiruzen recomposed himself "Earth dragon bullet"
Danzo quickly uses mokuton to block the attack.
"It's been fun, but I'm in a rush." Danzo then used one of the sharingans to place Hiruzen in a tsukuyomi.
in a few mere seconds, Hiruzen fell down dead.
Danzo sighed "now, for the jinchūriki."
Sasuke woke up to the sound of explosions 'the hell?'
Sasuke got up from his bed, his wounds being mostly healed.
as he went to the door to see what was going on, he was suddenly stopped by a pale looking man.
Sasuke went wide-eyed "YOU!"
Orochimaru chuckled "ah, you remember me."
"what the hell are you doing here?"
Orochimaru smirked "to make you a offer."
"not in-"
"aren't you tired?"
Sasuke froze.
"aren't you tired of being the weakest link? aren't you tired getting constantly overshadowed by Naruto? by Hinata? aren't you tired of being weak?"
Sasuke said nothing.
"admit it, Konoha is holding you back. holding you back from your dream of avenging your clan."
Sasuke did nothing.
what he said was true, he was tired of all of it. he always felt like he was the one holding back his team.
"well, if you aren't interested, I'll just-"
"I'll go."
Orochimaru did nothing but smile.
Naruto was quickly running back to the arena.
after he and Lee dealt with the last of the sound nin. he wanted to go check up on his teammates.
as he finally arrived at the entrance, he saw one of his teammates, Sasuke.
he saw him walking along side Orochimaru.
"Sasuke!"
the Uchiha looked back at his blonde teammate.
"what the hell are you doing with him."
"hn. Konoha is holding me back, at this rate I will never kill my brother and avenge my clan. goodbye, Naruto."
"Sasuke-" before the blonde could finish, he found himself suddenly encased in wood.
the bijūs were all shocked.
'it can't be.' they all collectively thought.
Orochimaru smirked "come Sasuke."
the sannin and the Uchiha then took off.
it was then, a bandaged man appeared in front of Naruto "hello there, Uzumaki Naruto."
the blonde narrowed his eyes "Danzo. what the hell are you doing here?"
silence.
"no. you didn't."
the warhawk scowled "I do what I must to protect Konoha."
"BY TEAMING UP WITH A TRAITOR TO INVADE IT!?" the blonde yelled in anger.
"I don't need to explain my actions to a weapon."
Danzo then lifted the bandages covering his eye, revealing a sharingan.
Danzo quickly used Kotoamatsukami.
the blonde stood there, frozen. the image of a red and black four-point pinwheel appeared over his normal blue eyes.
Danzo smirked "now, to make the perfect weapon, you were always meant-"
the red and black pattern quickly disappeared, returning his eyes to normal.
"LAVA ARMOR!"
the lava quickly melted the wood.
"WHAT!?"
"I don't know what kind of genjutsu you used on me, but rest assured, that it won't work again."
Danzo scoffed "no matter, I have other ways to make sure you are loyal."
"loyal? to you? heh, over my dead body."
Naruto then rushed at the warhawk.
Naruto quickly knocked Danzo into a nearby tree.
"tricky little brat."
"fireball jutsu"
a blue fireball was then launched at Danzo.
it had successfully hit him.
"finally that-"
Naruto was then suddenly encased in wood again.
"huh?"
Naruto then turned to see the somehow living Danzo.
"Naruto."
'what Gyūki?'
"we don't know for sure, but we suspect that the sharingans on his arm are how he survived."
'only one way to test that theory.'
"hypothesis."
'whatever.'
"lava armor"
Naruto then recomposed himself "molten rock"
a rock of magma was then launched at Danzo.
Danzo quickly dodged the magma rock, only to be struck by a steaming Naruto.
Danzo fell down and before he could get himself up "rasengan"
Naruto then struck his rasengan into the Warhawk's heart.
Naruto kept guard, not fully believing he was dead.
"vacuum wave."
Naruto quickly rolled out of the way.
Naruto then looked at Danzo's arm, seeing that one of the sharingans became white.
"so those eyes allow you to escape death huh?"
Danzo said nothing.
"TRY ESCAPING THIS!"
Naruto then encased the warhawk in sand.
"sand coffin"
Naruto then used the sand to crush him.
a few seconds went by.
suddenly a tree grew around Naruto.
"lava armor."
Naruto then turned to the warhawk "okay you're really starting to piss me off."
"well then, I wouldn't be doing this, if you just give up and pledge your loyalty to me."
"fine, I swear."
"that I will send you to hell fireball jutsu"
Danzo quickly dodged the attack.
"vacuum serial waves"
Naruto was then hit by the attack.
"you're certainly are more of a challenge than Hiruzen."
Naruto then went wide-eyed.
"oh don't worry about that fool, he's dead. I made sure of it myself."
Naruto stood there silent, shadows covering his eyes.
"first you invade my home, then you kill one of the few people to show me kindness?"
Naruto's body was then encased by a red aura of chakra and grew more animalistic features, he also sprouted a tanuki tail "I'll fucking kill you!"
Naruto then lunged and struck Danzo's heart.
Naruto sensed around the area.
"there you are!"
Naruto then rushed at the place Danzo was hiding from.
the two continued to fight. until.
"NARUTO-KUN!"
Naruto turned to see his other teammate "Hinata!"
Hinata rushed to help her crush, until she was suddenly impaled by a branch of wood.
"this doesn't concern you." Danzo said coldly.
Naruto went wide-eyed "HINATA!"
Naruto ran over to his teammate, worry in face.
Hinata looked up at the blonde, blood drooling from her mouth.
"Hinata, please be okay!"
"Naruto... I" she then smiled "I love you."
Naruto froze.
Hinata then pulled all her strength and kissed her crush.
Hinata then passed out.
Naruto watched helplessly, as he sensed the life fade from her. tears fell from his face.
Danzo scoffed "another wasted tool."
"all my life up until this moment, I've always wanted to prove that I wasn't a monster."
Danzo raised an eyebrow.
"and everytime I met someone who didn't see me as a monster, it made me happy, even more so when I was greeted with positivity... the people at Icharku's gave me Ramen, Iruka always encouraged me, and many others. I'll always remember the time when I told my teammates my secret and their reactions. Kakashi already knew but said that he is glad that I was always positive despite what I went through, Sasuke said he didn't mind the fact, and Hinata... she hugged me."
"is there a point to this?"
ignoring Danzo, Naruto continued "she told me how it was unfair, how I didn't deserve it and how I was a hero in her book. I always wondered why she cared for me. now I do."
Danzo scowled "how touching. tell me why should I care about what a weapon thinks about a tool and vice versa?"
Naruto then carefully placed the girl down, and turned his attention towards Danzo.
"I'm no monster, but for you. I'LL MAKE AN EXCEPTION!"
Naruto's red chakra flared, and an additional four tails sprouted. one of a cat, turtle, ape and a horse. his animalistic features grew.
Naruto then rushed and grabbed Danzo's leg encasing it in coral.
Naruto then proceeded to punch Danzo.
it was then a root agent kicked the blonde away.
Naruto looked up to see Danzo had brought additional backup.
"you will be mine."
"no he won't."
everyone turned to see a orange haired figure with purple eyes.

also I know that Hiruzen kinda went out like a bitch but trust me, compared to the other ways I written this part, at least he put up a fight.
and yes, in my personal opinion, a perfect jinchūriki could dispell Kotoamatsukami, because while yes its a powerful genjutsu, one so powerful that you need a decade before you can use it again, it's still a genjutsu.
also don't worry. the NaruHina ship won't end in tragedy here.

6. The sun and moon awakening. After a intense battle with Haku, that leaves them dead, Naruto and Sasuke are approached by the sage of six paths, who tells them that they are needed to save the world, he sends them back to the land of the living and to make sure that they don't die again, makes them OP. More OP than they were in the original story at the end.
7. Naruto of the Sharingan. After an intense battle, Naruto loses his left eye, and Sasuke's condition will ensure that he will die soon. Sasuke decides to give his best friend his left eye. Follow Naruto as he tries his best to live up to his best friends legacy. Slightly Dark Naruto.
8. Cursed fox. Orochimaru decides to give Naruto the curse mark.
