It was a rainy day, and J.D., Lincoln, Linka, and Lily were playing video games while Varie, Aylene, Gabrielle, Lucy, and Laney were reading books.

"I've got you now!" J.D. declared.

"I don't think so, J.D.!" remarked Lily.

"I'm coming in!" Linka declared.

"We'll see about that!" Lincoln responded.

They were playing a racing game, and Lily beat them.

"Yes, I won!" Lily cheered.

"Oh, man!" cried J.D. "Lily, you are incredible!"

"They don't call me the Queen of Games for nothing," Lily remarked.

"I can't argue with that," Linka stated.

The doorbell rang.

"I'll get that," Laney said.

Laney walked up to the door and opened it, and on the porch stood Carol Pingrey, who was wet, cold, shivering, and crying. Her clothes were ripped and her hair was a mess.

"Carol!" screamed Laney. "Why are you here?"

"I got disowned by my parents and I have nowhere to go!" Carol sobbed.

"Oh man," Laney exclaimed.

"You got disowned?" J.D. inquired. "That's horrible!"

"Come on," Varie commanded.

They led her to the kitchen and served her food and water.

J.D. prepared spaghetti and meatballs for her. They decided to talk to her while she was eating.

"What drove your parents to kick you out?" J.D. asked.

"I got back from reform school three days ago and I had a horrible argument with my father and they kicked me out of the house," Carol explained. "When I was living on the streets, I discovered I had another version of myself inside of me."

"Another you?" Varie asked.

"Like a split personality?" Laney asked.

"Yes, Laney," Carol replied. "She comes out when I get angry. I call her Morgan. She made me do all sorts of terrible things as her. How did you know about that?"

"When I grow up, I want to be a forensic and criminal psychologist," Laney explained. "It's always been one of my main interests."

"I believe that," Carol replied. "Morgan is ruthless, and I have no control over her. Now she's appearing whenever she wants."

Carol's eyes turned red. "I can do anything I want. I've always been better than Lori!"

Carol comes back. "See? That was Morgan."

Lucy grinned. "Wicked. I've read that book, "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" and it was very interesting. Split personalities have caused a lot of problems for many people around the world."

"This is quite serious," Aylene stated.

Laney was perplexed, saying, "I thought you liked vampires, Lucy."

"I'm actually into all the monsters and themes of horror," Lucy explained.

Lincoln said, "I'm willing to believe it."

"This Morgan persona is a very dangerous creature, and we must stop it," Gabrielle remarked in a British accent.

Lisa walks in. "Friends and siblings, I believe I have a solution. Please follow me."

They all follow Lisa into her laboratory, where she shows them a strange machine.

"This is my prototype Persona Remover," Lisa explained. "I just finished it 5 days ago."

"Cool," commented Aylene.

"I don't know Lisa," Laney said, apprehensive. "Are you sure this is safe?"

"It is elder sister," Lisa confirmed. "I tested it on a person with Dissociative Identity Disorder, Street Name: Split Personality, and removed four personas from that person and cured him."

"Wow!" exclaimed J.D.

"That's incredible, Lisa," Varie added.

"Incredible!" exclaimed Gabrielle. "This could be a new giant step in the field of mental medicine."

"It is," Lisa replied.

"Well, if it helps me get rid of Morgan, then I'll do it," Carol answered. "I want to redeem myself, repair my friendship with Lori, and rebuild my life."

"I want to see this in action," J.D. commented. "This looks really cool. Plus, Luan got Light Powers because her evil persona got out of her on its own."

"I've heard about that," Carol stated.

They put Carol in the machine and turned it on. A cloud of red smoke enveloped her. It crept through her subconscious and grabbed Morgan. On the outside, in the second pod, the red smoke manifested into Morgan. When it was done, Carol was changed forever, and the machine opened.

"How do you feel, Carol?" J.D. asked.

"I feel great," Carol answered. "I can't hear her anymore! I'm cured!"

"It truly worked!" J.D. exclaimed.

"I can't believe it!" exclaimed Varie.

"Incredible!" remarked Laney.

"Wicked," remarked Lucy.

"That's cool!" exclaimed Lily.

"This is incredible!" exclaimed Lincoln.

"No kidding!" Linka exclaimed.

"Wait!" cried Gabrielle. "Look!"

They all noticed Morgan when the second pod opened up. She was a Carol with red hair, red eyes, and red clothing.

"Where the crud am I?" Morgan wondered.

J.D. narrowed his eyes. "So we finally meet on the physical plane, Morgan."

"This is exactly what happened when I tested it," Lisa explained. "My machine separates the evil personalities of a person with a Split Personality from the original host. It creates a physical manifestation of that persona and makes them a separate being. Their life energy is not linked, therefore, we can destroy them without harming the original host."

"So we can fight her without hurting Carol?" Varie asked.

"That's fantastic," Carol said. "I can now make this jerk pay for wrecking my life!"

"I will gladly assist you, Carol," Lisa said.

"I will kill you both and take over as Carol forever!" Morgan declared.

"Wait!" yelled J.D. "Let's have you fight in the simulator. I know just the scenario, too."

"Simulator?" Carol wondered. "What's that?"

"We'll show you," Varie promised. "Aylene, go get Lori. She's going to want to know about this."

"All right," Aylene says as she walks away to get Lori.

Lori's Room

Lori was on her phone texting Bobby when her door opened.

"Lori!" yelled Aylene. "I'm sorry to come in like this, but we have a big problem. I'll explain on the way to the Simulator. Come on."

Lori stood up, grabbed her sword, and ran alongside Aylene. "So Aylene, what's up?"

"You're going to think I'm crazy, but Carol Pingrey has a split personality that causes her to do terrible things," Aylene explained.

"That viper, Carol, is a monster who deserves everything she has got!" Lori shouted back.

"I'm not kidding, Lori," Aylene assured her. "It forced her to do all of it. It caused her to destroy your friendship with her and turn her into someone she is not."

"Are you serious, Aylene?" questioned Lori.

"Yes," Aylene confirmed. "Carol told us and Lisa that her new Ego Remover machine had removed Carol's evil persona. Morgan, Carol, and Lisa are going to fight her."

"I won't believe it until I see it," Lori remarked, "but I have a feeling you're right."

"It also caused her parents to disown her three days ago, and it made her homeless," Aylene added.

Lori widened her eyes in shock. "What!? Are you serious!?"

Aylene's expression became serious. "Yes, I am."

When they reached the Simulator Control Room, Lori noticed Carol staring at Morgan with furious hatred and vengeful rage.

"Is that red-haired girl Morgan?" questioned Lori.

Aylene nodded. "Yes. She's a physical embodiment of Carol's rage, arrogance, narcissism, pride, and sociopathic nature. She's extremely ruthless."

Lori went into the Simulator. "Carol!"

"Lori!" Carol yelled. She cries as she hugs Lori. "Lori! I'm truly sorry for breaking our friendship! It was because I had a split personality." She points to Morgan. "She made me do all those horrible things to you and ruined my life!"

"Carol, I can now see that it wasn't all your fault," Lori replied.

Carol felt better. "Yeah."

"Now let's destroy this demon!" Lori yelled.

"Yeah!" agreed Carol, and then they high-fived.

In the control room, J.D. punched in the scenario. "Coming online, girls."

THE SIMULATOR

When the simulator activated, Lori, Carol, and Lisa appeared in the 1996 movie Dragonheart.

"I remember this," Lori recalled. "It's the final battle from the movie "Dragonheart." I used to watch this movie all the time when I was a kid."

"Me too," Carol echoed. "I love dragons."

"Great minds think alike for some people, even though dragons are mythological beings," Lisa added.

"Well, let's show this monster what the power of friendship can do," Lori suggested.

Lori stretches her blue wings and draws her Scottish Claymore from its sheath.

"Let's get her," Carol commanded.

Lori, Carol, and Lisa charged, and Carol hit Morgan in the face and kicked her in the stomach. Following that, Lori struck Morgan in the face with a single blow from her sword and unleashed a wind burst that caused her to fall through the fortress wall they were in. In a fit of rage, Morgan stood up and charged at them. Lori kicked Morgan in the chin, and Carol hit her in the mouth, knocking out some of her teeth. Lisa kicked Morgan in the back and launched her into the air. Lori flew up and delivered an axe kick that sent her flying through the castle floor. Morgan stood up, furious beyond any human comprehension.

"I WILL KILL YOU ALL!" Morgan vowed.

"You brought all of this on yourself, Morgan," Lori remarked. "You ruined my friendship with Carol, got her in a lot of trouble at school, ruined her social status, and even destroyed her family and forced her to live on the streets! It's all over for you!"

Suddenly, out of the blue, a strange blue cloud appeared nowhere, and it enveloped Carol.

The Geiger Counter detected the radiation in the control room.

"That's Cosmic Radiation!" shouted J.D.

Carol glowed and was enveloped in a blinding flash of blue light. When it died down, Carol was on the ground. "I feel really weird. What happened?"

"I think you have powers similar to mine, Carol," Lori replied.

"I do? Let me see here." Carol extended her hand and fired an orange heat ray at the wall, which exploded into a massive inferno.

"WHOA!" cried Lori.

The explosion caused some of the castle to fall while Bowen and Einon were sword-fighting, and the rubble fell on Einon. Burying him beneath a pile of stones. Morgan was blown into another wall by the blast.

"Jumping Fireballs!" shouted J.D.

"What power," commented Lincoln.

"Incredible!" remarked Linka.

"Wow!" exclaimed Laney.

"Wait!" yelled Aylene. "I've seen that heat ray before. It was from the Godzilla franchise."

"Godzilla!" shouted J.D. He remembers a scene from one of his favorite Godzilla movies, "Godzilla VS Space Godzilla." Godzilla had an orange-colored enhanced atomic breath ray that destroyed Space Godzilla. "I saw the heat ray too. It was awesome. Carol must now have some of the powers of some Godzilla Monsters thanks to that cosmic radiation."

Varie answered, "It must have."

"Unbelievable!" cried Gabrielle.

Back in the Simulator, Carol was shocked. "Incredible! I now have powers like you, Lori."

"J.D. will have to look this up when we get back," Lori added.

"Precisely," Lisa replied. "Let's end this fight."

"Let me help you all," Bowen said.

"Sir Bowen," Lori said, "We appreciate it."

"You're welcome," Bowen replied.

Kara emerged, saying, "Let me help you too."

Carol smiled. "Kara. Thank you."

"You're welcome," Kara replied.

"Bowen, Einon will not die that easily," Lori answered. "He is immortal, as long as Draco lives. That explosion may have slowed Einon down, but it was not enough to kill him."

"I realize that now," Bowen admitted. "But I can't kill Draco. He's my friend."

"I know a way around it," Lori explained. "But first, let us destroy this wretch."

"We heard your fight up here and you did a terrific job," Bowen added.

"Thank you," Lori expressed gratitude. "Let's go."

Morgan stood up and now carried a sword. The weapon was a claymore.

"Now you all die!" Morgan yelled.

Morgan charged, and Lori and Morgan clashed. Sparks were flying everywhere, setting fire to the entire castle.

But Lori caught Morgan off guard and stabbed her in the heart, killing her.

"That was for Carol," Lori remarked.

In a flash of red glitter, Morgan exploded.

When Einon arrived, he was badly wounded. "You haven't beaten me yet. I'm immortal."

"Not anymore, you're not," Lori murmured, chanting an incantation. "Jastestiga Nomleqmin Edxeuyp Krynsega Solomeras Nor!"

Draco's soul left Einon and returned to him, making him complete again.

"What happened?" Einon wondered.

"You're mortal again," Lori replied. "You've lost Einon."

"We've won Einon," Bowen declared. "Your reign of terror has come to an end."

Draco suddenly broke free from his chains, flew up, landed behind Bowen, Kara, Lori, Carol, and Lisa, and roared.

"I am now whole again, and it is over for you," Draco declared. "Our link has been severed, and I can now do this."

Draco blew a stream of fire out of his nose, which caught Einon on fire and caused him to scream out in pain. Carol shoots a heat ray, causing the castle to explode and incinerate him.

"That's it for him," Carol remarked.

"Affirmative," Lisa replied.

"I hope he has a good time in the Netherworld with Morgan," Lori said.

"Yep," Carol agreed. "Lori and Lisa, thank you. I am now free."

"We couldn't have done it without you," Bowen acknowledged.

"Sir Bowen, it was our pleasure," Lori responded. "We're from another time, and it's complicated."

"I see," Bowen responded. "Thank you all."

The simulator deactivated, and Lisa, Carol, and Lori followed everyone into the living room.

J.D. looked up how Carol gained her powers, but it wasn't in his book. "Weird. It's not in my book. Carol, you received your powers from Cosmic Radiation. Its effects are absolutely unpredictable."

"Weird," Carol commented. "I don't know what else I can do."

Carol felt a severe pain in her back and then developed purple angel wings, which everyone gasped at.

"Whoa," Carol exclaimed. "That was weird. But why does my back feel so heavy?"

"You've sprouted wings, Carol," Lori observed.

Carol gasped when she saw the wings. "I have! I have a lot to learn now that I have powers like some of you. But now that my parents have disowned me, I have nowhere to go."

"Let's talk to Mr. Lynn and Ms. Rita," J.D. suggested.

They invited Lynn Sr. and Rita into the Living Room.

"So, what's up guys?" Lynn Sr. asked.

"Mom, Dad, we found out Carol had been disowned by her mother and father after a terrible quarrel," Lori explained. "We have Carol here with us."

Carol stood in front of them. "Hello Mr. and Mrs. Loud."

"Why would your own family disown you?" questioned Lynn Sr.

"It's a complicated story," Carol explained.

"I've called the Principal, Mr. Livingston, and our teacher, Mrs. Harrington, so we can tell them too," J.D. added.

When they arrived, they gave a full explanation, shocking Rita, Mrs. Harrington, Lynn Sr., and Principal Livingston.

"That's horrible, Carol," Rita replied. "We had absolutely no idea."

"Nobody knew about it until it was too late," J.D. revealed.

"We did not know, Carol, that you were going through all of that," Principal Livingston remarked.

"I didn't even know about it myself, Mr. Principal," Carol admitted.

"I can tell," Principal Livingston remarked. He then said to J.D., "Thank you for calling us, J.D. We can now help Carol deal with this evil personality problem of hers."

"Yes," Mrs. Harrington confirmed. "I can see she's gone through a terrible ordeal."

"Yes, and you're welcome," J.D. replied. "But that won't be necessary. Lisa here invented a machine that removed this evil personality and we fought it and destroyed it."

"Interesting," Mrs. Harrington commented. "May we please see this machine?"

"Certainly," Lisa replied. "This way, please."

They showed them the Persona Remover machine and Lisa described how it worked.

"This is an amazing piece of machinery," Mrs. Harrington added.

"Indeed," Principal Livingston agreed. "Lisa, you're a great inventor."

"Thank you, Principal Livingston," Lisa replied. "I am always available to help my siblings, friends, and parental units when they require it."

"I can believe it," Principal Livingston remarked. "Everyone, school starts next Monday."

"Understood, sir," J.D. replied. "See you then."

Principal Livingston and Mrs. Harrington left, and Lynn Sr. and Rita brought Carol into the family. She is now Lori's roommate, and after two and a half years, they have reconciled their friendship.
