Hello once again my peeps!

So in this chapter, going to go more in depth of how much of a bad idea it is, for magi to reveal themselves and the problems to come with it. Also sorry but sadly, this chapter isn't what i thought it was going to be, as it grew to be MUCH bigger then i originally planned it too be. As such, things that were planned have been completely derailed from my original plan and i have to make it on a later date.

Namely the chapter after this one.

Cause this one is setting the stage, making introductions and creating themes. Basically, setting the scenes and what we can expect of this story so to speak. Also i made a mistake, as the last chapter was one i originally thought would be my longest chapter yet, but i was once again wrong. Oh no, THIS one is my longest chapter yet. I wasn't at all, planning to make it this long but good lord, does this shit hit the fan HARD.

I mean, it just keep building and building and building even more till it grew into this! One mighty heap of a chapter but don't get too use to these long winded, long written chapters, as they will more then likely get shorter as time goes on. It's just a lot of stuff to stuff into one chapter and while i wanted more, i think this would be more then enough for you all. So as always i don't own Fate, Marvel or RWBY.

So please read, review and "What the fuc-BOOM"

Chapter 2: The Clam Before The Storm

A Couple Of Days Later

"STOP! PLEASE, HELP ME! I'M SORRY! I'M-AAAAAHHHHHHHH"

The soldier's cries and begs for mercy would certainly haunt his nightmares to come, he just knew it. This nameless soldier and his comrades had pursed him and the children Ms. De Rune asked, no begged him to look after, seconds only before her own death. The children around him, clung to whatever part of his body they could, be it his two arms or his legs, as they watched the black, bloodthirsty driven rats eat the solider.

Like a hive mind, hundreds of rats rushed the soldier, the second the light went out and ate him without pause, without mercy, without care. Only a hunger for meat, blood and death. It mattered not what it was, be it human, animal, person, cow, horse or even a fucking dog or cat.

They ate anything and everything that had meat on it.

Was this hell?

Had he died and gone to hell for the deeds he had committed to save humanity and secure it's future?

"No...that's wrong. This world...it's always been a living hell. I just never realized that fact, until now. The things we have to do, to stay alive..." It was a somber thought and one he knew all along, just one he didn't want to admit was true. But now, faced with the cold cruel reality and what he had to do, what THEY had to do in order to stay alive, was just a reminder of that fact.

"Master."

"Xero...can we please go. I don't like it here."

The Master of Chaldea silently patted Hugo De Rune's head and nodded, "Yes...i believe it's time to go."

He looked to see Amicia crying silently, tears streaming down her dirty face, as her fist clenched so hard that blood was starting to come out. He squeezed her shoulder, as he led the small group away from this horrible place. He should repent her rebuke her, make her understand that this was the only way they were going to stay alive. Xero knew he should tell her to suck it up and accept the reality.

She was a killer now, the person she was before is dead and gone forever. Because she spilled blood, she saved not only her own life, but the life of her brother's as well. Something she should focus on, rather than feeling sorrow for the bastards that had invade her home, killed her family and forced her remaining family on the run.

He couldn't let her feel regret.

If he did that would lead her to second guessing herself, make her hesitant.

A moment, one second is all it took. Just one second of hesitation could mean the difference between life and death, if she screwed up then Amicia would be dead. Her brother too, meaning all the death they've left in their weak would be meaningless and in vain! But he couldn't, she was just a teen that lived in luxury and was suddenly, forced to basically fight and KILL everyone they met, just to stay alive.

They were all kids!

"Master? Are you listening?"

"But you're a teen, a child yourself."

A little voice in the back of his mind told him and Xero snorted to himself, as the group tugged through the dark forest. Did age matter anymore at this point or did he just have complete and utter shitty luck? Luck hardly mattered anymore; this was no longer just a mission.

His magic, for whatever reason wasn't working, limiting him to only his wit, skill and intelligence to survive.

"This isn't some mission or a singularity. This place, this world...is hell. It's always been hell. I just never realized it until now."

"MASTER!"

Xero blinked, as he came out of his memories of his time in England 1347.

The Black Plague was starting to gain its teeth, as it slowly spread death and terror throughout Europe. There was no real reason for him to be there, other than a sort of freak accident happened, while he was rayshifiting. He WAS supposed to go to England just not in the 13-century period but it was all by pure chance at that point.

Xero had been left, standard in time with no way to contact Chaldea and no Servants to help him. Because of the unintentional jump in time, his magical circuits had basically been short-circuited in a sense and left only enough to keep his body going.

Thankfully.

But goddess damn, did he wish he had magic! That whole affair could have been handled so much easier, if he had access to his magic, namely his fire spell's that could have burned those damnable rats away! He could have spared poor Amicia some pain and grief if he had his magic but neither she, nor Hugo would have grown as a result.

Well, nothing he could do about it now.

Looking towards the one who called him, he simply said,"Sorry, got lost in thought. Now, lets try and repair this thing, it won't fix itself."

With that said, Xero went back to working on his armor, as Emyia pressed his lips together but held his tongue. He knew that look all to well, as it's one he wears from time to time, reminiscing about the past.

"Past failures, more likely."

When he was first summoned by Xero, he was the young master's very first Archer class Servant. It was shortly after they escaped the first singularity, Singularity F, did Xero try his hand in summoning new Servants. Remarkable, he was able to summon himself, Medea and that blue clad bastard with the red spear(Aka Cu). Of course, his master quickly passed out from his magical circuit's being pushed to their limits.

In a lot of ways, Emyia could see himself in his master.

Someone who does what he believes is right, no matter what anyone says otherwise. He'd stay true to himself, even if that would cause him great pain in the process and hated the fact, he couldn't help his Servants directly.

Very much like himself.

However, unlike Emyia, Xero really DID have the fate of the world and it's future all but shoved onto his and Gudako's shoulders. Although his master decide that he wouldn't allow Gudako to subjective herself to the horrors of the singularities and tried to do it all himself. As foolish as Emyia thought he was, he had to give his master props.

He held out longer then he originally thought he would and rather then have to be convinced he needed help, Xero sought help out himself. All the while Emyia did everything in his power, to ensure his master didn't completely crash and burn, when he eventually did.

Not if.

When.

He just wished his master would have accepted help, before he donned on the mask of his persona, the Grimm Reaper. Then again, his master had gone off on his own, into a time period and made sure no one knew where he was under the guise of "Clearing his head". Truthfully, Emyia believed Xero just needed to get away from the madhouse known as Chaldea for a bit.

Everyone needed a break every now and again, so it would be no real surprise to Emyia if that was the reason.

"Only for it to turn into the complete opposite. From vacation to a living nightmare."

His master didn't speak of what happened, no details only that he had come back a changed man. That change was the look of someone's, who's beliefs had been burned so badly, he'd come to realize a harsh truth of the world...and embraced it, rather then fight it. Emyia hoped his master hadn't change too much but he, as always, was wrong.

Or was it right, as in the back of his mind he KNEW his master had changed and he just hoped, prayed even, that he was wrong.

But, as always, he was proven right and by the goddess and gods, did he wish he could be wrong.

Unlike before, his master would try to spare his enemies. He didn't believe killing everyone that got in you're way should die and basically had the same thought process as his younger self in some regards but after his self imposed vacation, he changed. He became more like his father, Assassin Emyia.

Killing anyone that dared to get in his way and was not nice about it. He didn't just kill them, he ripped and torn them apart, not showing a shred of mercy to anyone. Emyia tried to steer his master from that dark path but nothing worked and he feared Xero would walk his own path or worse:

The Avenger's path.

Ironically, it was because of Avenger Xero, did his master realize just what kind of path he was walking and where it would lead him. The similarities between Emyia and Xero was so close, it was kinda scary as Avenger Xero had the same thought as him, in going into the past to kill his younger self to prevent him from walking his path.

Just like how Archer Emyia tried to kill Shirou Emyia.

Thankful, his master took what Avenger Xero said to heart and became the best of both worlds. Ruthless but kind, showing mercy when he could and knowing when mercy was not needed. He learned from his Avenger self that the world was a dark and cruel place but it was still worth saving.

It was cruel but also beautiful.

Or maybe in his master's own words:

"The world is full of idiots Emyia but guess what. I'M one of those idiots that LIVE in the world, so yeah, the world and humanity being dead isn't exactly good for anyone, least of all myself."

It sounded like a selfish reason to save the world but hey, if it works it works. But that didn't change the fact, his master's attitude(At least in battle and when he makes certain choices and descions.

His newly forged personailty is a mixture between a Ruler's personality, an Avenger's and the morals of a human with the will to do what is necessary. All the best traits in one being and the best you could hope for in someone with the power to order the destruction of the world. Seven Servants alone could completey and utterly destroy a city by themselves within a day.

Image what over sixty Servants could do with a very powerful and competent master.

It wasn't a good image and the silence in the room didn't help with that image, aside from the "Clicking" and "Clacking" of tools.

The silence was thankfully broken when a new voice cut in.

"You know, most people would be out celebrating, after achieving such a huge victory. I'd figured you would want to get out and get some fresh air, after being coped up in this tower for a better part of two weeks."

Xero lifted his head up, to see Nick Fury cladded in his usual outfit, entering his workshop. The younger man looked up for a spilt second, before he ducked down again, working on his badly damaged armor. "Yeah well, I'm not most people. Those alien bastards did a real number on my armor and almost had me. Once again, it was sheer dumb luck that i was able to survive. I would have been screwed if Levi hadn't come to save my ass."

"Well to be fair Xero-dono, i don't think anything could take that much abuse and stay intact for long. Especially with that advanced alien gear they had and ganging up on him like that, something had to give. Lucky Levi was able to reach you first, before you're armor caved in."

"Along with my skull, among other things."

Somewhere in the shop, Mikasa snorted quietly to herself, as she gathered some of the parts and tools Xero needed. Her and Levi's relationship could be described as a kinda "Love/hate" type of relationship. It's not that she hated Levi, she just didn't like him as a person. He was pushy, rude, a clean freak to the extreme and general just downright, asshole at times.

It didn't help that Levi did nothing to improve her opinion of him and while Mikasa could respect him as a soldier/agent, that was it.

As a person, she didn't like his attitude at all.

It's complicated to say the least. The fact he beat the ever living shit out of her adopted brother once before, did nothing to improve her opinion on him. If nothing else, it made it worse but Mikasa wasn't a petty person by nature. She could set aside her personal feelings about the man and work with him, no matter how much she disliked him.

Fury's good eye silently sweep the shop, seeing Pieck, Mikasa, Emyia, Mash, the two Da Vinic's and even Armin in the shop.

"Yeah well, it's been my experience that there is no such thing as luck. If you ask me, it's clear that you've got some kind of guardian angel looking out for you."

"Probably." Xero said, as he looked at the arm with a grimace. He knew the Repulsors were badly damaged but with the way this one was busted up, he'd have to replace the entire thing. Wires, glass, everything would need to be replaced in order for the arm to start working again. Damn aliens did a real number on it. That was just the arm! It will take hours, days even to repair it all-

"You, okay?" Fury asked suddenly, making everyone freeze, as Xero said nothing and merely stood up to get another tool on the work bench. It was then, Fury saw Xero was wearing a pair of blue jeans and an AC/DC shirt, Tony got him when they went shopping to get more clothes for him. The younger Stark also let his hair down, free of a ponytail, letting it lay down on his back without a care in the world.

Or was there actually care?

Fury narrowed his good eye, seeing the dark circles under the younger man's eyes forming and was it just him or was there knots in Xero's long hair? Also, it could have been a trick of the light but now that he looked very hard, Fury could make out the streak of sliver going through the messy hair. Huh, when did that happen?

"Senpai..." Mash asked quietly, making Xero stop what he was doing and sighing deeply, putting his hands down on the bench.

"Honestly Fury, i want to say yes, i'm fine. I really, truly do but i can't. I'm NOT okay and do you know why? Wait, don't answer that cause i'll do it for you. I'm honest to god fucking scared, because the fucking witch hunts are going to start up again with myself and my sister as the main targets. Don't try to tell me otherwise, cause you and i both know it's going to happen, sooner or later. I'm not a fool or naive enough to believe otherwise. I stay in the tower, because i'm fucking sacred to go outside, for fear of getting stabbed in the back or worse, put in some goddamn cage waiting to be experimented on like some kind of goddamn lab rat. Staying in and fixing my armor helps clear my mind and lets me think, without having this damnable fear rearing it's ugly head in my mind."

Once again, Xero had left Fury speechless, as the younger man slumped in a nearby chair with his head in his heads.

The worst part of it though?

Was that the young Stark said was complete and utterly true. Many would stop at nothing to gain the power he wields, as his was one that could change the world. Despite a good number of people accepting and supporting him, there were those that didn't. Barely a month and already, his spies had heard chatter about groups wanting to kidnap the Stark children to see how they wield magic. The fact he used his magic to summon legendary heroes back to life was just icing on the cake for them. Some of the things his spies heard, made them go green in disgust, when they were talking about Gudako and Fury didn't need to guess, what it is they were talking about.

He had a pretty good idea and even then, it made him sick to his stomach.

Fury knew Xero was smart and for as long as he's known the Magi, he never once broke down like he is now. This look, the look of defeat and hopelessness mixed in with dare he say, fear.

Since when was this smartass afraid of anything?

It just wasn't a look that belong on his face and there was very little he could do about it.

"Master, you need not worry, we've got you're back, no matter what."

Emyia said, as he wrapped a comforting arm around his master. Mikasa did the same for his other side, as she gave her loved one a tight hug, saying,"No matter what happens, i will always be on you're side Xero. Eren and Armin will too, along with the rest of our friends. They know all you've done is try to help people to the best of you're ability in the only way you known how and won't stand for you being persecuted for something beyond you're control."

"You known they'll come for me and Ritsuko."

"We know and if they don't back down, then i'll make good on my promise."

Mikasa swore, as Mash nodded alongside her, "Don't worry senpai, when they come for us, you'll have my shield."

When.

Not if, when.

"Are you really that afraid?" Fury couldn't help but ask, having a hard time believing Xero was afraid of, well anything! He's seen the teen rush into hails of gunfire, explosions and fire just for the fun of it.

"What's life without a little fun Fury? I won't lie, my idea of fun is a little bit...different from normal people, but then again i'm not normal, am i?"

That is what Xero told Fury once before, when he questioned the teen if he had any semblance of sanity at all. The Red Archer, the same one that was holding his master asked that same question if he had any sanity at all, while the master just smirked and called Emyia a "Stick in the mud" and "No fun at all." Fury wondered what the hell happened to that version of Xero.

Said teen looked at Fury like he was an idiot and asked in a bland tone,"What do you think? History is doomed to repeat itself."

Oh.

That's what happened, reality.

Reality happened.

Sighing again, Fury took a seat that was opposite and said,"While i wouldn't put it like Ackerman, but the bottom line is the same. SHEILD's authority is absolute, as we were formed by the Untied Nations to protect the world from threats that are too much for normal people to handle. But we also protect all those, who can't protect themselves as well. That includes Magi like you and you're sister. So long as you're not trying to take over and or destroy the world, rest assured that SHEILD will have you're back."

Fury tried to lighten the mood at the end, which did make Xero crack a smile at it. Fury knew full well, he had no intention of taking over the world. Far too much work and too tedious to do, as the young man had put it.

Personally Fury sighed in relief at hearing that. He didn't think he could stop Xero if he really, truly wanted to do it.

No one could.

"Which makes it all the more worse. If Maz-XERO, ever decide to take over the world, no one could stop him. He's just THAT powerful and he has a huge arsenal of powers, abilities, brains, resources, weapons and people he could call upon for help. That's not mentioning on how many magi would side with him and natural, Gudako would side with her brother, simply because she's always followed his lead. After seeing what they can do, it's only because of sheer numbers alone that Loki was able to push Xero and Gudako on the back pedal. No army in the world has THAT many soldiers and even then, those Chitauri were created purely for war and war alone. Plus, those aliens were a lot more stronger in body, compared to humans they're are basically war machines but were no match for the Avengers. Numbers was all they had. Thankfully, the were only stronger then the avenger person. If Xero or Gudako ever decide to turn on us, we wouldn't stand a chance."

Well it would more likely end up with Xero going rogue and Gudako following him. The girl has always placed her trust in Xero, believing he would make the right choice. Then, following her, many of the Avengers(His father, the mutants, Captain American and Bucky) would follow suit.

Something that would make many people nervous and lead them to making things worse, rather then better despite what they believe.

Plus there's Xero's ability to draw people in, make them really, truly believe in him and you've got the next Julius Caesar with supernatural powers.

"Unless of course, they're going to summon him next."

It wasn't impossible. Xero and Gudako have already summoned loads of legendary figures from history, why not him too?

That is also not including the fact, even if they DID kill him, his Servants might destroy the world out of sheer spite. Hell the teen didn't even need to turn on them to destroy the world, it be those in power that decide since he couldn't be controlled, it be easier to just kill him off or worse. More then likely, it would be to turn him into a living weapon and he would have to fight the entire world, just to keep his freedom.

Didn't matter if he did anything wrong or not. Xero and Gudako were guilty, simply because they have magic and won't submit to anyone, so they must be put down like dogs.

How screwed up is that?

That was of course figuring Xero and Gudako were the only magi in the world. In Fury's line of work and his experience, he had reason to believe that was not the case. He was certain there were other magi in hiding and they were more then likely to side with Xero, simply because he was one of their own. Then there was the mutant population and if it came down to war, mutants would likely side with the magi, due to how similar they were treated by the government.

"If those idiots in Washington, hell idiots in power alone move to try and capture or worse, exterminate on a global scale it be a complete disaster. The death toll alone..."

It would be catastrophe for both sides.

Mentally shaking his head, Fury spoke,"Regardless of what my superiors think, you've done nothing wrong. Yes, you've broken a lot of international laws, all over the world but in doing so, saved hundreds, maybe thousands of lives in the process. I personal think, if it saves lives and prevents things from getting worse, then it's fine. So long as it's not TOO bad or terrible. Two wrongs don't make a right but they can let this one slide, since you saved the world from Loki's invasion. No matter how the higher ups try to twist it, they cannot deny that you're the hero of the hour and that's not counting the number of people you have saved. You're not alone Xero and just like Ackerman said, she and the rest of SHEILD IS on you're side, make no mistake of that."

It was unusual for Fury to speak so softly and trying to reassure someone but the kid looked like he hadn't sleep for the past two days. Judging by the look of tiredness on his face, the way he was dress and the worried look on his subordinate told Fury, he was more then likely right.

"If you're speaking the truth, then tell me, how many are planning to come after me and Gudako?" The young Stark said suddenly, making Mikasa tighten her grip and Fury to clench his fist.

"I honestly don't know, but i know they are more coming. Some enemies of SHEILD and the USA, others aren't. A couple are within this very government itself but we've only got a few names. Bolivar Trask, Robert Kelly and William Stryker are just some of the big names we known of."

"Yeah, i know all three of them." Xero said, leaning his head on Emyia's shoulder with narrowed eyes. he cranned his neck and yelled,"JARVIS, you hear that?!"

"Indeed i did sir and already getting everything known about the three on file, as we speak."

Came the AI's replay, making Xero crack a slight smile, he didn't even need to ask and already the AI was on it. Truly his dad made an incredible piece of hardware. As much as he'd like to call JRAVIS a person, at the end of the day, he was still a machine. But he was more then that too.

He was a "he" not an "it".

But Xero's good mood faded just as quickly as it came.

Needless to say, he hadn't heard anything good about the three and they all gave him the creeps. Xero had heard horror stories from mutants he had saved, namely how those three are one of the biggest name against their kind to date. The fact they were against mutants, simply because they were born that way and acted like being a mutant was a choice, pissed him off to no end. What made it worse, is that the three had a lot of backing both political and military, made them very dangerous.

It didn't really surprise him that they were one of the ones who wanted to cut him open for his magic, was no real shocker to him at all.

"It's no real surprise, when you think about it."

Caster Da Vinic cut in, as she sat down what she was working on and looked over to the group,"People will always be fearful and jealous of others, with unique powers. If they cannot have the power themselves, they either seek to control said power of destroy it, out of spite if nothing else."

"Or worse, in their own fear and denial, they seek this power to either be controlled or destroy, in order to 'protect the world' from it."

The Rider version finished, making air quotes at "Protect the world" with a rare sour look on her normally jolly face. Fury looked like he sucked on a lemon as he was once again, faced with nothing but the truth. On some level, Fury knew it to be fact, he just wasn't sure how to put it into words.

Till now.

The entire situation with Stark Jr. having magic has completely throw everything out of context for him and making his eye open up, to the dark side of human nature.

"No, iv'e always know that."

Fury thought, as he looked at the tired looking teen,"The only difference between then and now, is that this unique power was not created by some freak accident. It was natural."

After all, Xero's power while unique, he and Gudako were simply too dangerous to allow to roam around unchecked. Now that the world knew, many would be coming after them and more then likely, a trail of mass death and destruction will follow.

He's seen it before.

Fury's mind went to how general Ross hunted Bruce Banner across the world, not caring who he hurt or got killed in this pursuit. Simply because he had a unique power by a freak accident and Ross wanted to use Banner as a living weapon. He still does and it's only because Banner was under the elder Stark's and SHEILD's protection did the man back off.

But only because Fury threaten to reveal the sheer amount of damage, lost soldiers, military assets and destruction of many towns and even a couple of cities with Ross chasing Banner across the world. It's only because he had powerful friends, all the destruction and death was pinned squarely on Banner. But that wouldn't stop Fury from releasing that information.

Something Ross knew that Fury could and would, if he didn't stand down.

It was because of the fact Fury had dirt on EVERYONE, did no one dare to try take the Starks via the legal way. He did run the world's greatest spy network and had no problem with little a few dirty secrets out here and there.

Everyone's got dirty laundry, you just have to known where to look. It just so happened, Fury knew exactly where to look and store it, for later use.

But that wasn't the case right now, as Xero's current actions confused Fury. The teen was already hunted by several criminal organizations and is actively hunting down HYDRA, all the while laughing and giving them all the middle finger. What changed?

"What changed, is the world knows i'm not just a myth anymore."

Oh, did he voice that question out loud?

"Senpai, you don't have too-"

"Actually, I do Mash, since one eyed willy over here doesn't get it, let me spell it out for you. Xero said cutting off his Kohai as he never took his eyes off Fury, glaring at him and spoke. "The world knows that magic is not only real but there are TWO magic users in New York right now and now...we'll always be hunted now. The people who hunt us, won't care about using others against us and WILL do everything they can to capture us alive. If not us, then our children and any relate of ours, just to stick us in cages. They will demand answers but i won't give them, simply because honestly, it's none of their goddamn business. Some won't even care about any of that, as they will only see us as property or devils, not even human. I was prepared for that but i didn't want that fate for Gudako, nor any of the children we might have in the future. Gudako might be a first generation magi and she can decide to have kids or not but i can't. Fury, i'm the last of an ancient bloodline of magi and the last of my family. As head of the Mazoku family, i have a responsibility to ensure our bloodline continues. I can't shirk my responsibilities to my family simply because i'm afraid but i don't want any of my kids to go through the hell of being hunted by everyone, simply because of our bloodline and abilities. You get it now Fury, it isn't just my future that is in jeopardy but my future kids as well. They'll either be hunted to become lab rats or burned at the stake, simply because we have a gift from Lady Magic herself and others can't stand that we have it and they don't. Do you understand now Fury? Do you understand why i'm so goddamn terrified to leave this tower and fearing for not only my and Gudako's future but my kid's future? Do ya?"

Silence.

All Fury could do was stare at Xero in shock, as the real weight of the situation was laid out before him. Yes, his knowledge of the magi was very limited and he didn't know how it worked, but he never thought it would go that deeply. The picture Xero painted for him, was a very dark one and truth be told, he had no idea on what to say, what to do, that he could say to soothe the teen's worries.

He wasn't the only one, as the Servants (Yes, even sweet, innocent Mash too), while stoned faced their eyes told him everything. They all found it very disturbing and what was worse, is that it was very plausible. Something Armin couldn't keep to himself, as the blonde man muttered under his breath,"He's not wrong."

Armin wasn't a fool, working for SHEILD for about two years now, he's seen plenty acts of inhuman evil. Many of which he already knew about, learning in school about the worst atrocities in history such as Genocide of indigenous peoples in the Americas, The Holocaust, World War II, Three Alls Policy, The Cambodian genocide the list goes on.

But one atrocity that stuck to Armin in this situation, was surprise surprise, The Salem Witch Trails.

In school, Armin knew the trails were very small in comparison to other events, he learned that this was wrong. The truth was, that the Salem Witch Trials were not only been far more brutal and twisted then history recorded but were a hell of a lot worse. Xero had told Armin, from what he had learned from his family's grimoire that recorded not only family abilities but their history as well.

Including the events during the Salem Witch Trails, where normal people tried to basically commit genocide on his people, when they refused to be living weapons or slaves to those in power. With the battle of New York, forcing Xero and Gudako to reveal their magic, his fear is very understandable. After all, history was doomed to repeat itself, as many don't learn from history and are thus, doomed to repeat it.

A sad fact about humanity.

Finally, after a long period of silence, where no one dared to make a move for fear of all hell breaking lose, Fury finally spoke,"...I didn't know Xero, i really didn't. But what i do know is this, fearing the future and staying locked up in this tower won't do you any good. Like it or not, these are the cards you've been dealt and the best you can do, is play them. But listen, you're not alone and neither is Gudako. Remember that and honestly kid, you look like shit. I'm going to take a guess, you haven't slept since you woke up after you're coma. Am i right?"

Xero's head dripped a bit, as he nodded,"Yeah, you're right about that. Haven't been able to sleep, since..."

He waved his hand at nothing in particular and nearly nodded off. Fury nodded, as the teen slowly pulled himself out of the Archer and soldier's embrace and slowly walked out of the workshop with Mikasa helping him out. Really, the teen looked ready to fall over and fall asleep right then and there.

Fury didn't need to ask where he was going, as he was pretty sure Xero was going to get some sleep. The teen certainly looked and acted like he needed it, as everyone watched the two leave.

"Gudako is down on the lower levels, not in any better shape then master is. Tony is with her, as he and Pepper are the only ones, aside from master and the rest of the team, that lets her feel safe enough to lower her guard and fall asleep."

Emyia suddenly said, making Fury raise an eyebrow at the Archer of red but nodded never the less. Despite this, Fury felt a coiling in his stomach, a sense of wrongness making itself known to him. Those two save the world and THIS is their reward?

Fear of the future, their children's future, kidnappings, being hunted down like common criminals no like common rabid dogs and being experimented on like a rats?

How is that fair?

"It's not and life has never been fair."

That was just a fact and in this world, those with unique abilities often suffer for it. While it hasn't happened YET, that did not mean it wouldn't happen and Xero's fear may take new light if certain people had their way. That was of course, not including the new danger of the four kingdoms, as the Stark children's power was for all intents and purpose, prefect for military application.

He's watch the footage, saw how Xero's and Gudako's Servants mowed down the alien soldiers without pause or mercy. A one sided slaughter and the only reason Loki held out for as long as he did, was because he had numbers on his side. Superior skill and power will only get you so far against numbers, while numbers DO NOT win a battle, they sure as hell help.

Standing up, Fury looked at Pieck, who was looking over some data on the Ipad and said,"The UN is going to converging with ambassador's from Remnant in two weeks for a summit, in New York no less. As the director of SHEILD, iv'e been requested to appear there, along with Erwin. I'd like to ask Xero and Gudako to appear as well, to try and soothe relationship's with the rest of the world. Official, the Avengers are a SHEILD team and by that extension, both Xero and Gudako are my subordinate's by default. This will legally make them untouchable by anyone that would use the legal system against them, so they'll have a better footholds. Also, just to ensure there are no sleeper agents, i'll be bringing the 104th along, all of which will be under Erwin's command. As well as Levi's and Hange's squad too, as they, along with the 104th will also be overseeing security. That should stop anyone from trying anything funny against either of you. But if someone does try something, he'll have backup, be it from someone of our world or Remnant they won't be able to get away. Also Finger, i haven't told anyone else this but keep on eye on that headmaster's from Vale and Atlas's forces. That Ozpin fella, something about him isn't right, everything about him just screams he's hiding something. Something big and i get the feeling, he'll want to enlist both the Avengers and Starks into it."

Pieck nodded. Despite working under Tony Stark's company, she also worked on the sideline for Fury's new division that was using the gear she created. So naturally, she come to see the bald man, as her second boss and had no problem with addressing him as such. She then asked,"And Atlas sir?"

"From our understanding, they are the ones leading Remnant into it's 'golden age' and the fact they've got the biggest company that supplies it's lifeline. That said, i think you and i can both see, they don't like being upstaged by ANYONE and if the rumors about Atlas hold any truth to them, they won't stand for it. I think they'll try something once they realize Mazoku won't willingly work with them or give them his powers. They might go after Gudako, seeing as she is the weaker between the two."

"Sir, isn't that jumping the gun a bit? Assuming Atlas will just try to kidnap Xero-dono or even Gudako. It just seems to be a bit foolhardy to me."

"I have to agree sir. Don't you think you're just being overly paranoid?" Armin asked, brows furrowing. Surely no one was THAT stupid/arrogant, especially with these monsters roaming about.

Right?

"I have to disagree Armin. To them, senpai is far too dangerous to be left alone, let alone roam free." Mash said with a frown on her face, looking at her lap, clenching her small hands, "No matter what senpai does, some will always see and view him as a monster. While i do agree they won't try something NOW, that doesn't mean they won't try something later, away from prying eyes."

"Isn't that a bit cynical of you Mash?" Caster Da Vinic asked, also frowning. Since when was this cute and adorable kouhai so distrusting?

"Maybe, maybe not. Besides Artoria and Jeanne, i have spent the most time with senpai. Maybe his distrust is rubbing off on me."

"Personally, i think it's a good thing. Being too trusting can lead you into getting a lot of trouble."

"Alright, that's enough i get it." Fury said with a sigh, but his face hardens, as he said, "But i don't want to take any chances, banking on the idea things will go smoothly. An event like this...it's simply too tempting of a target for some people to pass up, consequences be damned. Mazoku and Gudako ARE very powerful and have a lot of influence with powerful friends to boot. If caught, Atlas will throw the would-be kidnappers under the bus and try other tactics to get the two. You and i both known, Atlas is a country ruled by the military and we all known how those types of countries work."

"By doing whatever it takes, to remain the strongest, regardless of if it's morally wrong." Rider Da Vinic said with a frown on her face, mirroring her older version and thought process. That also meant, those types of countries were more then willing to kidnap someone, if they had unique abilities that could be weaponized. Like master-kun and Gudako-chan.

Fury nodded grimly, as he said,"Like it or not, those two are too valuable to lose and aren't replaceable by any means. I don't think of them as living weapons but they are people with the power to change things, for better or worse. It will depend on how people react to them and what kind of actions there willingly to take, that will determine if their change will be for good or bad."

"But many won't see it that way sir. They will only see what they want to see. By the time they realize what they've done, it'll be too late."

"I know."

Fury sighed deeply, as the Servants listened in quietly, as Fury continued on, not caring if they heard him or not,"Both are very dangerous and if i'm being honest, i expect those two and their children to be hunted forever. It's just like Xero said before, humans will always fear that which they don't understand and if they can't control it, they destroy it by any means. Which is why i want you to ensure nothing happens to him. You're not apart of SHEILD and i can only ask you to do this, but you HAVE to make sure that Xero and Gudako understand he has friends. That there are people who believe in them and will never turn their backs on them or abuse their trust. That SHEILD is on his side and his enemies are our enemies. I personally have nothing against the general of Atlas, i can tell, he is an honorable man with a strong sense of right and wrong. He would never subjugate either of the two to inhuman experiments. But those who work under him..."

"Will more than likely do it." The Archer of red finished for the black-haired woman, a deep frown on his face. He wouldn't be surprised if it came to that but he was glad his master had friends to call upon for help.

"Do you understand why i'm asking you to do this Finger?" Pieck didn't have to listen to him or respect him, as much as she did. But she did and all she could do, was nod her head in agreement.

"I do sir and don't worry, i'll be sure to tell Xero-dono-"

Just then, a dark skinned with blue hair and wearing a half skull mask appeared, kneeling before the wavy haired woman and said.

"Mistress Pieck, we have an intruder."

Ten Minutes Earlier

"This is a terrible idea and with my luck, shit's going to be a complete disaster. Damnit Oz, why'd i let you talk me into this?"

Probably because if he did nothing, shit will turn out even worse. Idly, Qrow flared his wings a bit in agitation.

Qrow's crow form certainly had it's own perks, that's for sure. Being both a hunter and spy, his crow form had opened my doors to him and honestly, it was amazing what some people said when they thought they were alone. Over the years, Qrow has used this form for more then just getting info on his targets. It has allowed him to get into places, no one would dare to dream they could have, spy on people without fear of being found out and of course, travel without fear of being ambushed by the enemy.

That and other things he didn't care to admit, let alone talk about. The point is, his crow form had it's uses and perks.

But, sadly it also had it's downsides.

Like right now.

"Really, basically kicking a powder keg if i screw this up. A huntsman, a well known and considered one of the best in Vale can have a lot of implications for being on foreign soil. I don't play this right and all those bad ones will paint Vale, Remnant in a very bad light. Let's hope Stark is willing to listen to reason.

It's like old Ironwoody said, the situation is very delicate and one screw up, game over.

"Like that'll stop Salem, her agents or worse, Raven."

It was bad enough they had to deal with the incarnation of all evil's agents that will not care for stability and in fact, try to ensure chaos unfolds. At worst, make sure a war is sparked between the four kingdoms and the rest of the world, where Salem doesn't have to do anything, other then lounge back and enjoy the bloody massacre.

Then there was his sister, Raven Branwen.

Raven appreciated strength and like Ozpin, always looking for new talent. Unlike old Ozzy however, if that new talent didn't bend to her will before Ozpin of Oum forbid, Salem found them first, she'd kill them. His bitch of a sister didn't like unknowns running around and by that extension her bandit tribe. There was no way in hell, was she going to pass up an opportunity like this.

Qrow didn't know either Xero or Gudako but he highly doubted either would willing work for Raven and if she couldn't control it, she'd destroy it. Of course that'll spark war and more then likely, Raven will be killed in the process. Bitch or not, Raven IS his sister and Yang's mother, Qrow wasn't going to sit by and let her, not only start a fucking war AND die in the process.

"So despite Oz talking me into this, i would have done it anyway."

This was of course, not including the White Fang and faunus in general, who suddenly find themselves out number one to ten. If they did something stupid, it could be second faunus war and if the war stories he's heard Earth has, it'll be the end of the faunus.

"Either way i look at it, getting the Avengers and the Starks on our side is an essential first step."

Essential to prevent catastrophe.

At the very least, they can stop the nations from declaring all out war on the four kingdoms. Namely no nuking them, atomic bombing them, etc. As powerful as the four kingdoms are, numbers do help define a battle's outcome.

Numbers don't win a battle but they help.

Plus the kid had proven to be a stone cold killer. A stone cold killer with his own set of morals sure but a killer with more bodies to his name, then both Roman Torchwick and Adam Taurus combine. The only thing that made the kid not so scary, was the fact he didn't kill everyone he met, just those who tried to kill him first.

If you surrendered, you live.

You don't, you die.

Simple as that and something Qrow could get behind.

Though in all honest, Roman didn't really have any kills under his belt. The man was a master thief no doubt but he was not a killer. He knew how to work the business in the underworld, learned the unspoken rules that you needed to learn, to live in the underworld. You can't rob the dead, oh well i suppose you could but you could only do it once. There was no real profit in killing everyone you robbed, that was just bad for business.

In fact, despite being widely regard as Vale's most wanted, the most time Torchwick would get if caught by the police would be about ten years max. That's because, despite his life as a criminal, Torchwick has ever killed anyone or at the very least, did a damn good job of hiding it. Taurus on the other hand, had loads of bodies to his name and the White Fang.

Having killed both robots, soldiers, Atlas personal and even fucking huntsman too boot.

Between the two of them, they could cause a whole lot of damage if they put their minds to it.

But that was beside the point, since the kid targeted only criminals certainly made things better in his eyes. The kid didn't have to help people, he didn't have to go hunting down slave tracker, finding missing people and returning them to their families. Nope, Xero did that all on his own and even with those, what did he call them, Servants? to help him do it.

"There's no telling what those guys can do."

Despite having footage, it was blurry and only a couple of minutes of footage at best. All it did was give Qrow and everyone else an idea what they can do, as he had no doubt the kid had his allies hide most of their abilities. If a person was smart, they'd hide what they can do until the time was right and catching you're opponent off guard.

At least, that's what Qrow would do.

But that didn't matter, as he looked over Stark tower and despite seeing plenty of places he could land easily, he couldn't find a spot that would allow him to gain entry but was also out of sight. The top of the tower was an option but that would possible send the wrong impression and that could escalate the situation. Qrow's crow form let out a "Caw" as he landed on a roof, stepping behind the AC unit and walked out, as Qrow the human once more.

He sighed deeply, taking out his trusty flask and took a deep gulp of it, muttering to himself,"How the hell am i going to do this, without setting them off and getting myself killed?"

"You can start, by convincing me not to kill you here and now."

Qrow stiffened, as he felt a blade at his throat, as a dark voice said that. Slowly, oh so slowly, Qrow brought his hands up, showing he was unarmed and willing to talk. He may have aura that would protect him from a small blade like that, but magic was tricky. If he was right, the person holding a blade to his throat was a Servant and more then likely, that blade wasn't just a normal blade.

Qrow already knew he had shitty luck and knew when NOT to push it. Best to sallow his pride, grin and bear with it for the time being. He was here to make friends, not enemies and his normal antics might cost him, so best to play it safe and be honest with the guy, girl?

Whatever.

"Okay easy pal, i'm not armed. I don't want any trouble, i just came here to talk, nothing more."

"Who are you? Why are you here?"

Okay, standard line of questioning. He could work with this, the fact it kept his life made it all the more better. Even though it was risky to reveal his true name, trust was needed and he would simply need to take a leap of faith on this one.

"My name is Qrow Branwen, i'm a huntsman out of the kingdom of Vale and the city of Vale. Yeah i know, same name does get confusing but stay with me. I mean you no harm-"

"It's not my life i'm worried about, it's my master's. Why else would you be, if not for my master?"

Right.

Xero fucking Mazoku/Stark and Ritsuka Stark. This must be one of those summoning's of theirs and by their tone, they weren't in the mode for games or banter. Licking his suddenly dry lips, Qrow answered truthfully, "Right i am but hear me out, i'm not here to kill him or anything."

"That remains to be seen. If that is true, then why are you here?"

Straight to the point, okay he could make do with that.

"Look, i'm here because my boss wants to warn you're...master?"

Feeling the grip on his shoulder slacken a bit and the blade remove itself an inch away from his neck, told Qrow he was on the right track to staying alive. Best he keep it up, if he wanted to live.

Which he did!

"Look, i know this may sound cliche but there are dark forces in Remnant that seek to uproot the peace we've had. With this whole 'new world' shit and the Avengers appearance your master's group can do a lot of good. Many won't like that and from what I've seen, you're master personally can be a huge threat to them. They will seek to either control or destroy him. The same with his sister, Gudako right? They'll go for her or any Xero's friends and family, just to get to him. These people have no limits, nor do they care who's lives they destroy."

His possible killer stayed silent, not moving as they thought over the information Qrow have them. Just to sweeten the deal, the Branwen said, "I have my scroll in my breast pocket. My boss uploaded how many times the footage of you and your lot have been viewed. While i know that don't make much sense on why it be useful too you all but-"

"It'll give us an idea on what we're dealing with. Many would want to watch the video, either to see if it's true or to study master and us."

His would-be assassin said, as Qrow nodded, glad to see they understood. Reaching into the pocket quickly enough to get it but not enough to set the Assassin off, Qrow brought his personal scroll out and with a couple of button presses, brought up how many times the video was viewed:

7,673

"Well, well, I must say my lord certainly makes an impression on your people."

"That he did and a whole lot of them, don't like the idea of someone that powerful running around free. I don't mean this as a threat, i'm just trying to warn you all, what you're up against."

"And your boss did this out of the kindness of his heart, while hoping to stack the deck in gaining my lord's favor?"

"Well yeah. That too."

Hey, why bother denying what was obvious?

Qrow knew the way the question was phrased; it was more of a statement then a question. So, he'd figure it would be better, to just bite the bullet and say it out right, rather than hide. He wasn't Oz, he didn't like to speak in riddles and cryptic words. Qrow wasn't so sort of immortal wizard that had a habit of speaking in that manner and didn't have the luxury to do so.

Snort

"At least you're honest about it. Very well, what does your boss want with my lord?"

"Honestly, he wants to make a deal."

His would-be Assassin hummed and slowly removed his kunai from his neck, stepping in front of him. It was then Qrow noticed the Assassin, who wore a bone white skull mask not unlike thw White Fang but clearly not a Grimm mask and a gray cloak that covered his entire body.

"What kind of deal?"

Two Weeks Later

"Ugh, I really don't want to do this." Xero muttered to himself, as he stared into the mirror while Caster Tamamo helped braid his hair. While he preferred to leave his hair in the wild state with just a simple ponytail, they all knew he needed to present himself to be more "civilized" or lord forbid, he be accused of being some kind of un-civilized creature or something that stupid.

People were stupid.

They were inside his room, overlooking the city that was ready to receive guests from both the old and new world. But since they were welcoming newcomers, plenty of officers, military police, Yuri's new unit, The Garrison and sure enough, Erwin and the 104th cadets were milling about the place. providing security for the newcomers.

Despite his normal attitudes towards such things, he knew when he had to represent the Avengers as the leader. No matter how much he disliked it(Correction, hated them), the past ten months he'd been with Tony, he learned a lot about the business world.

"Sadly Xero-sama, it is something we have to deal with. Lord Fury is only trying to protect you legally and attending this meeting will ensure those weaklings won't be able to touch you or Gudako-sama. Legally anyway." Ursula Driag said, as she leaned against the wall, watching her mate and fellow sister wife. Ursula did not look like she was a secret dragon, no she looked quite human...save for a few appendages.

Unlike human woman, Ursula was a very tall woman, standing about 6'6 foot tall(Standing about five inches taller then himself) with pure sliver hair, dark skin and golden eyes. It may have been due to her dragon origins but she was well toned and lean with her muscles tightly compact into her hourglass figure. Like many of his Servants, Ursula had a body that many woman would kill to have, with her curves all in the right places. She wore a simply black mini-dress that went well with her skin tone and did nothing to hide her draconic features.

Namely the two golden, crocked horns growing out of her forehead and a thin, dragon tail growing out of her back, just above her rear. It didn't help her nails, looked like they were retractable claws.

Which they were.

Ursula is an honorable type of woman, someone who repaid her debts in full no matter what and showing respect to those she deemed worthy of her respect. But she had no problem with showing her dislike of them. Is she didn't like you, you'd known it real quick.

"Well Braveheart is right, it's one of those things we have to deal with kiddo. While many have to wear suits and ties to this event, you're the expectation. Like you told the one eyed pirate, you're head of the Mazoku family and have that ancient armor of yours to honor you're family name. At least that's what Fury told those snobby assholes anyway, so they won't raise as fuss at you're outfit. Anyone else and it be considered disrespectful but you it would be disrespectful not to wear it. Some might grumble and call you a barbarian but that's all they can do. Got to say, you really are my son able to piss off so many people without trying. Sniff, I'm so proud." Tony said walking into the room, wiping a fake tear away, as he stood in his own nice suit. A simple and snappy black suit, with a white T-shirt underneath, a black tie and black dress shoes.

However his son was in a completely different outfit. As Xero told his father, unlike most magi families his family was born during the time of the ancient Byzantine Empire. The Mazoku's were one of the few magi families that were basically, battle magi. They fight with and without their magic, making them very deadly. No matter how useful it is, one lucky sword strike, poisoned arrow or a bullet and the magi is dead.

The fact the Mazoku's had to keep their magic hidden, allowed them to discover ways to use magecraft, to enhance their bodies to become fighting machines. As such, rather then robes for special events, they wear armor.

It was oddly fitting, as his father wore armor to be a hero.

The armor itself was made out of combination of torn chainmail adorn the thick fabric underskirt and buttons. As a base layer, a red knitted fabric long-sleeve shirt and boot wraps. Salvaged bear pelts are repurposed into a fur tunic, skirt and boot accents to keep warm rested on his shoulders and ankles. Combined with brown leather pants and boots, and gloves made of deer hide, this ensemble prepares adventurers for traversing through rough terrain. Worn leather straps and a gun holster with gold Byzantine buckles and a dagger that had a green gem in the middle to finish the look by providing easy access to gear.(Think of the Immortal Guardian armor in "Rise Of The Tomb Raider)

On the stainless steel, gray breast plate was the symbol of the Mazoku family, the red wolf, howling within a spiked circle.

Despite looking like it was made for winter(Which it was) magical runes were woven into the fabric and armor. Not only for additional protection that can protect the wearer from magical enhanced attacks, normal weapons, the elements and even climatic control runes that ensure the wear's body temperature stays regulated at acceptable levels.

The armor itself was created as both for protection and ceremonial events, such the one he will be attending. The Mazoku's were one of the few families that openly fought in battle, rather then just relay on magic alone to win their battles. Seeing as Xero's first ancestor was a fighter, one that created the Phantom technique that his own mother, Lilith, has used to make herself a legend.

"Got to say kid, you look like some kind of warrior god in that armor. It's a good look for you, which is a good thing too. You can't pull of the suit look, unlike your handsome old man." Tony said with a smile, as the Caster finished barding his hair in a way, the silver streak was twisted in a way that looked natural. Of course, after making sure his armor and rosary were in perfect condition, Xero turned to his father and said in a snarky tone.

"Yeah. Emphasis on OLD man, i can already see gray hairs forming in your hairline."

"Oh you're full of it. My hair is still the beautiful black it's always been and always will be. Besides, pot met kettle." Tony snarked right back, subconsciously touching his hair. His son merely snorted and looked at the pink haired fox woman and said, "Thanks Tamamo, you were right this does make me look good."

"Of course, it's a wife's duty to make sure her husband looks good." The fox woman said with a bright smile, that only got bigger when he kissed her forehead affectionately. Naturally Tony made a fake gagging noise, making Xero give his father a one finger salute.

"Sir's, i hate to break up the bonding moment, but i do believe you are on a tight schedule."

Xero felt a smile pulling at his lips, who knew an AI could be so sassy? He blamed his father, for infecting JARVIS with his own brand of sass. But the AI was right and they were indeed, on a tight schedule.

"So, who are you bringing with us, kiddo?" Tony asked, as he, Xero, Tamamo and Ursula walked out of the room and down the hall.

"I'll be bringing these two, Jeanne, Jalter, Atalanta Alter, Artoria Saber, Otika Alter, Artoria Lancer Alter, Passionlip, Tomoe, Mash, Brynhildr, Morgan, Mordred and Gawain."

Tony raised an eyebrow,"That's a lot of force and power kiddo, why all the muscle? Are you sacred?"

There was no mockery, no teasing undertone only concern. He heard or rather, JARVIS had told his creator what he heard and replayed the entire thing for him to listen too. What Xero told Fury, had Tony combing through employee records, screening everyone and yes that included Happy and even Pepper! What his son had said scared Tony to death and he wanted to make sure, there was no one under his employment that would knowing and willingly hurt his son.

Qrow's visit from two weeks earlier, combine with his Xero's words to Fury, had unleashed the paranoid and protective father within Tony, he didn't realize he even realize was there. Smart as he was, Tony never really thought too much on the "Witch hunts" until his son came along and suddenly-

BOOM

He was finding himself, reading on anything and everything he could on the witch hunts and even the Salem Witch Trails. He spent a lot of time, watching every magic movie he could find and had listened to everything Xero's Casters had to tell him on magic and the magi.

Anything that he could help him understand his son, he look at it.

However, watching or reading all he could about magic and those that use it, never ends well for the user. Many depict the hero and villain having magic, one fighting to protect the ones he loves and the other, trying to get revenge on those, that hunted and pursed him. Those that hunted the villain, often killed his friends, captured any family member to be used as a lab rat and just basically blamed every crime under the sun on the villain.

In a lot of ways, the movies and books were basically a guide on how to create you're very own morally in the right monster.

But in the end, that morally right monster was killed by the hero, who vowed to make things right. The ending would show how the hero, did indeed make things right and the other monsters were rightfully punished. After that, everyone would start to accept the magic using hero and everyone would live happily ever after in the movies. But that was it, it only happened in the movies.

Books.

Fantasy.

Fiction.

This...this was reality and reality was far different from the movies and books. Meaning that there would more then likely no happy ending and people probably won't be accepting as they are in the books and movies. But Tony would be damned to hell, before he let anyone use his kids as lab rats!

"I have several reasons, but one of them is the fact Tamamo and Atalanta are for all intents and purposes, Faunus or at the very least, can pass off as Faunus." Xero said, knocking Tony out his thoughts, making him pay attention, as Xero sheathed the Mazoku family sword, Magikira(Magi Killer) on his left hip. The sword itself, was double edge saber blade. The blade itself was the same length as a longsword but twice as thick, with the blade coated in pitch black color. The guard was a rounded and the halt was wrapped in black and red stings.

"I know Remnant has problems with the Faunus, so rather then wait for people to accuse me of being a racist, i'm going to show them i already have Faunus allies. Plus it should shoo away any bigotry's that try to make friendly with me."

"Okay, simple and straightforward enough."

"Now, i'm bringing Lip and Tomoe along for the same reason, only it's a little more different. Lip, despite her shy and kind attitude, many would look at her like a monster. Tomoe is literally HALF Oni, as a result many wouldn't accept her as an ally on that fact alone. If they can't accept that, then they can look elsewhere for support, cause i won't give mine. Sorry dad, but i won't put up with any type of bigotry."

"Oh no, no kiddo." Tony quickly held his hands up in a 'It's alright' gesture,"I'm with you all the way on that kid. We have to pick and chose our battles AND allies. So don't worry about it."

Nodding Xero started to list off his reasons again,"Artoria and Otika are coming, since, well they're already my bodyguards and with all that's happening, their not letting me leave their sights outside the tower. The same goes for Gawain, Mordred and even Mash. Hell the rest of the knights are of the same mind, along with a good number of my Servants. Honestly, if it wasn't for the fact, dick head Ross tried to take me and Gudako, it was Norman Osborn trying to convince you, to get me to allow his scientist to experiment on both of us."

"Like we would allow that to happen darling." Tamamo said, rubbing his arm in a comforting, while her tail and ears bristled in anger, at the thought of her master/husband being cut open. Gudako too, as the redhead had become something of a little sister to the Caster.

"That we won't, not if i can help it." Tony said with a nod, as a frown formed on his face at the thought of the Oscorp CEO.

The asshole went on and on, about how through his kids blood, they can make a booming in the market, talking like they weren't even human. Tony knew the man's company was involved in a lot of things and while it couldn't beat him in terms of technology advancement but he did take up the weapons market after Tony pulled his own company out of it. One of those types of weapons they made was of course, biological weapons.

The big bucks and most dangerous types of weapons manufacturers.

The fact he wanted to use his son and daughter's blood to create bio-weapons had set Tony's blood boiling and under no certain terms, did the elder Stark kick the man out of his tower and swore, he'd rip his head off if he ever came within ten feet of his children. Tony didn't care if it put him on Norman's bad side, he was furious at Osborn's audacity and made sure to to tell the man what he thought about it, while he kicked him out personally.

Next time, he'll have a sexy Black Widow, a hairy Wolverine, the Captain America and of course an angry Hulk to do it for him.

"As for Morgan, well despite popular belief, she is a skilled and tough negotiator. She can read others like a book and is very charismatic person. Don't forget, she is the one who brought Camelot to it's knee's, by dividing it's people and soldiers. Mordred merely lead the charge on the battlefield."

Once more, Tony was knocked out of his thoughts as he son spoke again. Though upon hearing the last part, an idea formed in his head. One he voiced.

"Well, i can certainly see that. Though..."

The grin that formed on Tony's mouth, had told Xero's sixth sense that whatever was about to come out of his mouth, was going to annoy him to no end,"i don't think Mordred would want her mother to think so lowly of her. She might do something drastic to improve your opinion of her."

Well, his sixth sense was right, as it usual is.

Unfortunately.

Ultimately, he decides to ignore that, as Mordred had change since his..."Marriage" to Artoria and technically becoming her "Queen" since she was "King". Something that Tony, Clint and a number of other people loved to poke fun at Xero for, since he's the "Queen" in this relationship.

Not that there was much he could do, as he was for all intents and purpose, the queen in this marriage. It was Artoria who ruled England as king and was technically Mordred's father, as Morgan took her DNA and gave birth to the Knight of Betrayal. Hence why Mordred called the blonde "Father" and not mother. In any case, it was Artoria who had proposed to him, via giving him the sheath to her legendary sword, Avalon.

So yeah, he may be the "Queen" in this arrangement, that just how it was, and he wouldn't change it.

It was flattering really, as Artoria trusted him enough to do that.

"As for Jeanne, Jalter and Artoria is very simple. First off Jeanne is my partner, the very first Servant i ever summoned. She's been with me since the very beginning and i pretty much do everything with her anyway. The same could be said of Artoria, as she was the second one i summoned and this was before the Chaldea quest. She's smart, reliable and knows how to negotiation with foreign powers. I value her experience in these matters and i trust her to help make the right call. Plus, the fact Jeanne is the holy maiden, will help negotiations. After all, if you can't trust god's right-hand woman, who can you trust?"

"Fair point. But a good number of them aren't a fan of god."

"Maybe not all of them but quite a few are." Xero said simply, as Fou appeared around the coroner and quickly made his way to his spot on the teen's armored shoulder, wrapping his white tail around his neck. Smiling and petting him a little, the younger Stark continued, "Anyway Jalter is coming, simply because i want to show everyone what happens when you turn on, your heroes for stupid and idiotic reasons. She's the embodiment of Jeanne's hate and resentment. That should scare those who want to kill me and before you ask, it's simply because this she is the dark reflection of Jeanne. If SHE can come back from the dead to make those who wronged her, what do you think I'LL do, if you try to screw me over in the same manner. They don't know how my powers work and i can use that."

"So, smoke and mirrors with a huge amount of bluffing?" Xero looked at his father oddly for a second, before shrugging and spoke.

"Yeah, in a sense. Let them draw their own conclusions, while i sit back and watch them make fools of themselves. Not that'll it amounts to anything, without the Grail to ascend their power, they won't be able to summon even the weakest Servant. Now On to Brynhildr is coming is a bit more different than the others. You remember what she told us about Loki?"

"I do." Tony said, as they made it the elevator and began to go down.

"Well, she is going to make sure the other nations know what we're going up against. Whoever order the attack on Earth is not only resourceful enough to gather a massive army to fight us but is powerful enough to boss Loki around. This wasn't just a random invasion, whoever was in charge was testing Earth. Why, i don't know but it's best everyone knowns, cause i don't think we'll get lucky a second time." Xero sighed and closed his eyes, rubbing his non-armored hand against his forehead, "Should have just grabbed that damned cube and threw it into a black hole or something. I KNEW where he was going to attack and i KNEW how he was going to do, but i let him do it anyway. Just because i was afraid of what he would do, if i destroyed his plan, fuck. Things might not have turned out as bad as they did."

"Regardless of what happened my queen, it would have been much worse if you didn't take those actions."

The form of Artoria Lancer Alter said, as the elevator reached the ground floor and she appeared before him. She and the rest of the Servants he planned to bring had reverted to spirit form, to make it easier of their master. The King of Storms was in her final form and while normally such a thing would not be allowed to following event, Xero highly doubted anyone would contradict her.

Her glare alone would kill S-class Grimm.

"She's right you know, you did the best you could and honestly, it went off better than anyone could have predicted. Don't be so hard on yourself." Pepper Potts said, as she walked up to the group with a smile on her face. She wore a beautiful blue dress, with her red hair tied in a tight bun and heels on her dainty feet. Behind her, was Gudako in her own beautiful red dress that looked like Pepper's, with her own hair that had grown longer and was now tied in a ponytail, trailing behind the older woman.

"Indeed Oni-chan, stop doubting yourself or else I'll tell Rakiou and you know how she'll react."

"Yes, yes, i know, there's no need for that."

Xero said, sweating a little at the thought of his beloved Berserker reaction to that. Honestly out of the many relationships he had formed with his dear Servants, some more kinky as it is natural for people to have kinks and others just plain weirder then the usual. The woman known as the blood thirsy Ox demon was one of his motherly Servants.

Rivaling Emyia, Artoria Lancer (The Lion King) and even Boudica in that department. The last one, certainly said something but it didn't deter him from accepting their love. Even though, it became quite clear that Rakiou's mentally was very much influence by the madness enhancement. It wouldn't be fair if he cut her out of his love life, as despite some of her more obvious faults, that's part of being in a relationship:

You cannot cherry picks the parts you liked; you have to accept that person wholly.

Faults and all.

Something Xero had learned very well, as that was key in dealing with some of the more...esoteric Servants. Oh hell, who was he kidding all his Servants were absolute nutcases with some type of wired quirk. Even Artoira Saber, Morgan and bloody hell, even JEANNE!

"Ugh, everyone i know is crazy, my dad's crazy, Steve's crazy and fucking hell I'm pretty sure I'M crazy TOO! Bloody hell."

Shaking his head, Xero shook his head and looked at his father, "Look the point is, i have my reasons. I'm not letting some out into the open due to their clashing personalities and the fact, i expect someone to try something. They won't think twice about opening fire on them and will shoot to kill. That's fact and i have some friends in the UN, so they'll back me up, if someone tries some bullshit. Sadly, that won't stop some of the more zealous ones from trying to kill me or Gudako, as I'm sure there's more than a couple of suicide bombers or killers ready and willing to do whatever it takes to kill us. All those i'm bringing, will help ensure nothing too bad comes of it. If they try, their fucked."

The adults nodded, understanding Xero's plan and while Tony frowned at hearing the explanation, as his kids will be once again put in danger. Why the hell couldn't he just have a normal life with normal kids?

"Ah, who am i kidding, normal is boring."

Shaking his head, Tony brought out his phone and said, "Well you should know, the rest of the Avengers, save for Thor, will be meeting us at the assembly. So, everyone will-"

"Oh master, i do believe you are forgetting someone."

Xero flinched a little, hearing a certain queen's voice, which made Tony stop and looked behind him to see the five-star Assassin, Semiramis. She had a small smile on her face but that did not take away the fact, her eyes were sharp and her smile sharper. It idly reminded Xero of a mother catching her child doing something he shouldn't have and should have known better.

In other words, she wasn't pleased at being left out and while normally, she'd be prefect for negotiating with other worldly powers, given her...reputation it might do more harm than good. After all, she was known as the world's first assassin to use poison.

Mordred, meanwhile, groaned at the Assassin's appearance and glared at her, while saying, "Great, what do you think you're doing you knife eared, balloon tited bitch. Mother didn't say you could come."

The Wise Queen of Assyria merely smiled, completely ignoring the Knight's insults, as she walked up to her dear master and spoke,"Why i'd invite myself of course. Our dear master wouldn't think to leave for such an important event that requires a certain amount of...brain power. So sorry MOE-CHAN, but you simply don't meet the standards for such a task. Unlike myself of course."

Xero groaned, rubbing his forehead as the Saber and Assassin/Caster glared at one another, looking like they were ready to throw down,"Mordred, Semiramis please don't fight."

Naturally, he was ignored.

It should be no shock, as these two fought in the same Holy Grail War and were once allies. Key word:

Once.

Or well, never really allies to begin with, they just happened to be on the same side before someone decide to flip the script and everything went to complete shit.

Semiramis and her master were in it for themselves and while Xero wasn't too sure on the details, it was a mutual betray on both parts. Neither held any love (Or loyalty for that matter) towards one another, so there was no real heartbreak.

Only annoyance and hate.

While, thankful the duo keeps their hate for each other professional and off the battlefield. However, that didn't stop them from taking snips at each other, whenever the chance was given off said battlefield. It only got worse, when Xero got into a relationship with his Servants. It didn't help that the Assassin took jabs at Mordred for her lack of, ahem assets or rather her lack of them.

Something Mordred fumed at, while the knight made sure to comment on Semiramis age. That nearly made the queen unleash her Noble Phantasm and beasts upon the Saber.

Pepper sighed, seeing the duo ready to fight again, as she spoke up before a fist fight could break out,"Okay, enough. We're going to be late if we keep fighting. It's time to go, NOW."

As always, Pepper was the voice of reason and the Stark/Mazoku family set off towards the assembly.

Elsewhere

"It's time."

New York was abuzz with activity, as people from all over the world have come to the great city. Why shouldn't it, as this was a once in a fucking EON event and one less likely to ever happen again. The leaders of the world were assembling to discuss the new world order and how they should proceed with relations. New York was home to a lot of things and that included the general assembly and HQ for the United Nations.

New York was also home to the same people, Ozpin wanted to recruit at all costs.

For one general James Ironwood, the irony was not lost to him, as he and the other headmasters of the huntsman academies would be attending the meeting of nations. The one place they needed access to, in order to try and recruit was right in their own backyard. He and the rest of the diplomats had arrived in the US, escorted to an army base, where they were jetted of too New York via choppers.

A security measure, just to ensure no one would get any ideas. You can never be too careful.

In addition, with both ambassadors, council members and even one to two teams of huntsman from each kingdom to act as guards. Since the US army and SHEILD were over seeing security, the kingdom's bringing huntsman was allowed in a show of good faith.

Letting the ambassadors bring the headmasters, to allow them to explain how the academies work and two hunter teams to protect them. Despite this being a peace driven mission, no one was naive enough to believe that is what everyone wanted. Many would love to sow disorder and chaos, so it was a given that guards would be needed for such a thing.

It went without saying both normal humans and those with aura COULD attack the event, hence why two teams were allowed to act as escorts. Not only would it be on them to deal with any rogue hunter's, should they show up, but they'll have to protect everyone in such an event. Ironwood could see between the lines, if anyone from Remnant attacked, it would be on them to deal with it and how they do it, will play how everyone from Earth treats them.

Basically, if they screwed the Beowolf on this, then all of Remnant be they human, Faunus or huntsman, will be treated as hostile. After all, if one hunter (Or a group of hunters) could do so much damage, who's to say what an army can do? And how do they know they were really rogue huntsman and not ones ordered by the kingdoms to kill the world leaders, in some sort of plot to take over Earth.

Outlandish yes, but Ironwood could see it happening.

So yeah, no real pressure.

Salem would most certainly want that, as it would divide humanity even further and with the new world, Ironwood had to do everything he could to stop such a thing from happening. The consequences would be disaster and that's why he and the rest of the headmasters had a meeting the day before, the peace talks MUST go smoothly.

Although it could have been the trick of the light, Ironwood couldn't help but notice how...nervous the headmaster of Haven, Leonardo Lionheart was acting. While yes, he always knew the lion Faunus wasn't always the bravest, but he did his best he could. With the decline of huntsman in Mistral and rise of bandit attacks, Ironwood had no doubt the man must be under a lot of pressure.

Both from Mistral's own council and having to deal with Salem's Grimm. Mistral has one of the largest territories under human control. Keeping said control was very difficult even at the best of times.

"The meeting will start soon general Ironwood."

The man allowed a small smile to appear on his face, as he heard Penny address him in such a peppy, cheerful voice. Yes, they were only allowed to bring one huntsman team to act as bodyguards since Earth has never faced Remnant's type of huntsman before, via their aura and semblances. He brought his own in the form of the Ace-Ops.

They were a team of five, consisting of their Clover Ebi, Vine Zeki, Elm Ederne, Harriet Bree and Marrow Amin.

The best of the best.

To add onto this, he brought his right-hand woman, Winter Schnee. One of Atlas's best and brightest specialist up to date. Her mastery over her weapon and semblance have seen her rise through the ranks quickly and she had more than earned her title. But at the price of losing the title of heiress to the SDC. But she chose it, and Ironwood would not let her regret that choice.

Ever.

In addition, he brought along Penny and her creator/father Dr. Pietro Polendina along since, while Penny was classified officially as a civilian, he believed it was better to be safe than sorry. As for the good doctor, Ironwood brought Pietro to help form relationships with the other countries and explain in great detail, what Atlas can do for them in terms of technology.

Ironwood was basically stacking the deck in his favor but hey, where's the harm in that? It was obvioius what everyone was here for, as nobody raised an argument when they all decide to meet in New York.

New York.

The home of both the newly formed Avengers, Tony Stark's newly built tower and of course his children, Xero and Gudako Stark.

"James, i see you made it."

The general looked up and saw his old friend with his own team, coming to greet him.

"Of course. I'll admit, we had to deal with some Grimm on the way, but it wasn't anything we couldn't handle."

Ironwood said, silently eyeing who his old friend brought with and raised an eyebrow at seeing team RWBY AND JNPR. With Qrow and Summer no less. Seeing his raised eyebrow, Ozpin answered the un-asked question, "Team RWBY makes up for the two missing members of STRQ and JNPR, while young, they are exceptional for their age. They are filling in for both the second team from Vale and one team that is supposed to be guarding ambassadors from Menagerie. While young i know and only first years, i believe now would be a good opportunity to get some real-world experience. Now, since Menagerie is a small island with very few warriors, let alone able body huntsman they asked Vale for help and since this is a new world we are entering, i convinced the council it be in our best interest for all of us."

In other words, Ozpin strong armed them into it and that was the official reason.

Officially.

James can understand bringing Qrow and Summer, as those two are the best hunters in Vale. He didn't doubt that Ozpin left Glynda and the rest of the teachers at Beacon, so Salem wouldn't get any funny ideas but why bring two first year's teams as well? Why risk something happening and having only newly applied huntsman in training go on such a dangerous mission, with little to no experience.

He could understand if his old friend wanted to give them a little bit of experience and while the two teams were made up of unusually strong first year's students, they were just that.

First years.

Even with Miss Nikos, who won four tournaments, that meant very little in the real world. Yes, he watched the footage of her fights and can clearly see an inspiring huntress within a few years in the young huntress in training, she was till just that:

A huntress IN training.

What did Ozpin hoped to gain from bringing her (And the rest of the first years) here? What was the point, if something went wrong? These students were training to fight the Grimm.

No other people.

It went unsaid, but it was obviously with all the heavy security they weren't expecting just Grimm to randomly attack them. Earth was much different from Remnant and while they don't have the power of aura and dust, that made up in other methods. Unique and deadly weaponry, mutants, meta-humans, super soldiers, radioactive monsters, nukes, etc.

So, why would Ozpin make such a big gamble then?

"Then again, the best way to learn something is by doing."

A trial by fire perhaps?

Ozpin as a fan at playing big gambles and while this was the furthest thing from a gamble, the general couldn't help but feel anxious. This was too good of an opportunity for someone, who seeks to cause disorder and chaos, to ignore this event. Be it Salem, her agents the White Fang, common criminals or very possible just a rogue huntsman that don't like the idea of unity.

That was of course, no counting all the other possible criminals that would crash this event from Earth.

Chaos and war while bad for everyone all around, DOES create opportunities. War causes death yes, but it also creates jobs, makes medical breakthrough, new and improved weaponry to use against either criminals or Grimm in general. But most of all, it creates jobs that mercenaries and warmongers to profit off of.

Just another truth that was hard to hear.

"Hmph, I'm surprised they even let ambassadors from Menagerie come. Seeing as Ghira Belladonna created the White Fang."

Of course, Jacques was smart enough to keep his tone polite but didn't stop him from taking pot shots at the Faunus. Anything to make them look bad and the SDC look good. James knew what Jacques was doing and he wasn't going to let him do it. Not without a fight.

"I'd disagree. Yes, the White Fang has fallen into disorder and have gone down a dark path. However, that happened AFTER Mr. Belladonna stepped down Mr. Schnee. Due be sure to remember that fact, one bad dust crystal doesn't mean the rest are damaged as well."

And neither was Ozpin it seemed.

His old friend seemed to jump on Jacques, making sure he keeps the facts right and not the way Jacques wanted to paint it. The truth would come out, it always did and if they tried to lie about facts, it'll only hurt them in the long run. Minor details were often ignored but from what he had read about the teen that was known around the world as the Grimm Reaper, minor details are the first thing he looked over.

The fact Jacques mouth snapped shut and glared at Ozpin told James, Jacques did not like to be called out. But the man was petty and did not let that slide, as he said, "Maybe not, but that didn't stop them from letting Seinna Khan come as well. Who, by the way is the LEADER of the now violent terrorist group."

Ah yes, among the Menagerie group, was the new leader of the violent White Fang, Seinna Khan herself. While it is widely known, she is the leader of the White Fang that didn't mean she wasn't allowed to attend the peace talks. In fact, it was James (And Ozpin's hope, along with a good number of many others) if things went well enough it may put an end to the White Fang for good.

The world had grown into a completely new and uncharted territory. One wrong move and the situation would implode, creating a new war altogether. Something no one wanted and if things went well, then it would put them on the path to stopping needless bloodshed.

Just not in the way Jacques wanted of course, nor the Atlas council.

Something Ozpin seemed to feel the need to remind the man, as he spoke, "Perhaps but this may finally put an end to the White Fang for good. Terrorist they may be, but only in Remnant and the four kingdoms. Legally, they have committed no crimes on US soil or any country on Earth and by default, are NOT terrorists on Earth countries. Like it or not Mr. Schnee, the Faunus of the White Fang fight for equal rights. Ones that SHOULD have been given after the Faunus wars ended with the Faunus winning. They wanted peace most of all, but peace has not come. The war is over but there was no true peace and no real fair treatment as Faunus are still mistreated all across Remnant. True they are much more quitter about it but there is no mistaking discrimination still exists in spades, all over Remnant. In Atlas it is most potent but that is just splitting hairs. The sad fact is that people are not so quick to change and can be very spiteful. Many people are petty, so they lash out at easy targets, which only ends in more unnecessary violence. Bad blood creates bad blood and we humans as a whole, have done very little to change that. In fact, as much as a i hate to say it, i am a part of that whole who has done nothing to change things, while many in power like the status quo and have done everything they can to keep it that way."

"But the SDC didn't do anything to cause them to turn violent!"

Ozpin smiled, one that reminded Ironwood of a Grimm shark, "I didn't say anything about the SDC, did i?"

Jacques's face turned a new shade of red, as Ozpin continued talking, ignoring a snickering Qrow and a smug looking Summer.

"Like it or not, by the laws of this land, the White Fang are not criminals here. They are not protesters or even citizens of this world but members of another country, that they wish to make peace with. They, like all four kingdoms of Remnant will have a chance to say their peace and we have no right to decide if they should or shouldn't. This is the world we have found ourselves in Mr. Schnee, this is our best chance to ensure peace regains rather than chaos and death. Despite their methods, fair treatment of the Faunus has always been and will always be, the White Fang's goal. It would be hinder that goal, if they attacked this assembly now, a complete blow back to everything they wish to accomplish. While yes, Remnant can outmatch any country, nation in terms of firepower and destructive weapons. We have to content with the Grimm, so such weapons were created out of necessity. Not to mention we have Dust as well, a resource that could very well be called magic in a crystalized form and a war one on one, any kingdom could defeat a nation of Earth."

"But-"

"BUT! They outnumber Remnant ten to one and i don't believe the other nations will sit back, while we attack one of their own. They WILL band together to wipe us out and if such an event were to occur, it would be a catastrophe for both sides. Nobody wants this to go to war. Not us, not the kingdoms and not even the Faunus themselves or even the White Fang. The UN has decided to let them come, so we have to honor that, to prevent any type of war breaking out. Despite what people think, the White Fang or at the very least, Miss Khan are not foolish enough to attack this event. Even if they did successfully attack this place, it'll only make an enemy of the entire world if they did, whether they win or not. To any who try their luck, win or not it won't end well. It's best you remember that Mr. Schnee, not everyone has the same views as you, nor beliefs. I advise you watch what you say and how you act, during these events. Otherwise, you may find yourself in, what do the kids say these days? Ah yes, hot water i believe."

"Is that a threat?"

Jacques growled, as Ozpin hide his smile behind his ever-present coffee mug and said simply, "Just helpful advice."

The white-haired man growled and stomped off, with council member Sleet following after him, undoubtedly trying to make sure the Schnee didn't ruffle any feathers. They all knew Jacques would try to make friendly with many of the ambassadors. Trying to paint Atlas in a good light, as many don't have that high of an opinion of their kingdom.

"Or try to poison their views about all the others."

No, even Jacques wasn't that petty, and he wasn't that foolish to do something like that.

Hopefully.

"Hmmm, wholly unpleasant as ever i see." Ozpin said, making Ironwood snap out of his thoughts, turning back to his old friend. The general nodded.

"That he is, but he does run Remnant's biggest source for Dust."

"Well Jimmy, i hate to say this wait no I don't, I love to say this: Old Jacques boy got competition. I don't know much about energy but I'm sure that Arc reactor that Stark is working on, will make Dust outdated in the future. Or at the very least, energy powering anyway. Jacques won't like that."

"He won't Qrow but if Stark does prefect Arc rector technology, he could replace Dust as the energy that Remnant runs on. That alone is half of the SDC's business cliental, supplying the kingdoms with the means to power their homes, everything. Whether Stark realizes it or not, he is a real threat to the SDC from a business standpoint."

Summer said, making a very good point.

Jacques did not get this far in life by being a fool and often crushed anyone that dared to threaten his position or HIS company. Part of doing that, was monopolizing all businesses that sold the same product as the SDC. Ensuring no one could challenge him.

Crud and selfish but effective.

The business world was a cutthroat place, much like politics it was an ever-changing game.

"General, the meeting will start so."

Clover said, as the general nodded and looked at his old friend, "So, time to make history old friend."

"Indeed James. I shall see you later then, we have do have some time and i'd like to meet up with some old friends."

And make new ones.

James nodded, as he looked over the assembled delegates.

They weren't the only ones, looking to make good in with the Avengers and the two magic users.

Line Break

"That's him huh? Well, got to say, he certainly looks like a tough customer."

Cinder Fall said nothing, as she and her "Team" looked at the leader of the Avengers and had to admit, Mercury was right. The armor aside, Xero Mazoku/Stark looked like he was ready and willing to fight at a moment's notice. She wouldn't lie, the younger man was certainly handsome and the tattoo on his face made him look distinctive. It was clear the way he moved, the way he carried himself that he was no stranger to the battlefield and was a well-trained warrior. That was obvious to the trained eyed, but that wasn't what caught her attention.

It was his eyes.

People say the eyes are the window to the soul and looking into his, if only for a brief second, told her a lot of things. One, he was a killer, that was certain. There was a certain amount of coldness that made her shiver as he scanned the room. He wasn't looking at potential allies, different nameless people or even possible friends. No, he was looking for potential enemies, people that would bring harm to his family or himself.

Xero's eyes told Cinder if anyone dare to try, he'll cut them down without mercy.

If not him, then those he summoned would most certainly would.

"Is that girl even human?"

Emerald asked, eyeing the purple haired one. She, for the most part looked like any normal human being. She had a cute, pale face, gentle and equally purple eyes with the BIGGEST bust Emerald have ever seen. Seriously, those breasts had to illogical sizes, as no one's breasts can grow that big and be natural. Her massive breasts aside, the woman appeared to be pretty normal looking.

Save for the ginormous golden, armored gauntlets that had fucking ten swords on her fingers (Or rather ARE her fingers), because there is no way in hell THOSE could be called hands. If possible, they were even BIGGER than her breasts. The woman's attire consists of neck belt, two strips of belt covering her large breasts, and three more over her torso. She also wears what appears to be a striped bloomer with brown panty hose and a pair of high heel shoes.

"Are any of them? The only one i can see that look normal, is Mazoku, that Holy Saint woman, the one that looks like blondie and the dark skinned one. The rest barely look human and that one wearing that leotard, what the hell is on her head? I mean she's hot as hell boss, hotter than you, but i get the feeling she isn't that puts up with nonsense or response well to threats. Clearly someone's looking to make a statement."

Making a statement indeed.

Cinder had to give it to Mercury (While ignoring the hotter than you comment, cause honestly even she agreed with him, but wouldn't tell him even if her life depended on it) for once she believed he was right. She could see Jacques Schnee and the councilman he not doubts chose, stiffen upon seeing the Faunus looking woman with Xero. She certainly didn't look like the friendly sort, with the lion woman wearing what looked to be heavy armor on her shoulders that looked like they were horned, with clawed gauntlets on her hands and greaves.

Or were her hands just naturally like that?

If that wasn't evil looking enough, it was painted pitch black with purple lines on it. And was it just Cinder or was there some kind of collar, wrapped around the woman's neck? Cause it certainly looked like one and in the back of her mind, Cinder wonder if things went sideways, she could use that to enrage the White Fang into attacking the Starks.

After all, they wanted equal rights for all of their kind and not be called animals or pets. If she worded it a certain way, she could make it out so, in twisted words that Xero had enslaved a Faunus, which would cause the White Fang to lash out.

But only if it was worded correctly and properly. Only time would tell, she supposed.

But that hardly mattered to her, as Cinder had one job and one job only:

Observe him and assess his threat level accordingly.

Normally, she would have ambushed him or his sister and take their magic. The power she craved so desperately and was rightfully (Yeah right) hers, only for her mistress to stay her hand. Well, that and the simple fact is that, unlike the maiden powers, it was clear their magic worked much more differently. That irritating and obnoxious bastard known as Arthur Watts was able to get more footage.

Ones not seen by the rest of the world.

Hacking into the local camera's, stationed throughout New York was child's play to him and he was able to dig up more on the Stark's fighting ability. Someway, somehow the Starks had figured out how to combine magic and technology together, to work in prefect tandem. A feat that should have been impossible and was in Salem's time, so this was new even to the immortal herself. The fact someone was able to combine magic and technology together, they had to have a deep understanding of both magic and technology on a level, very few can reach.

In other words, that person had to be a genius in every sense of the word and had to be the smartest person on the planet. To make what should have been impossible, possible.

This is a fact that Cinder made certain to remind the man, as that level of genius was well beyond Watts and in the short time, she has had it, it relied on him up every time.

It was proof that on Earth, someone was indeed smarter than Watts.

She had always hated Watts and knew this would be a blow to the man's pride. While yes it did hinder and possible hurt future plans, Cinder's pride wouldn't allow such a golden opportunity to knock Watts down a peg, go by. But moving on, they did catch the younger Stark, Gudako, using her magic and made an interesting discovery.

When the girl used a more powerful spell or a mystic code (Not that they knew it was one of course) the visible parts of her body gained a circuit like glow along her limbs. While it was unclear HOW she used magic, it was clearly different from how the maiden's gained their power.

Much to Cinder's annoyance.

She didn't even know if she takes magic like that, as it was clearly different from the maidens and the Grimm parasite was still very much new. It was created solely for the maidens' powers, not these types of magic. There was no telling if it would work or not.

That was of course, not including their Servants and she seen how dangerous they are.

No, it was better to observe, take note of his true power and find some way to turn them to their side or kill them off quickly if possible. One wrong move and it would be game over for her. Xero and Gudako Stark were NOT the type of people you made enemies out of.

That'll only invite the Reaper.

Looking at them now, Cinder could clearly see what kinds of people they were, and it did not suit her plans. Not one bit.

Those two are not the type that can be bought, bullied or even tricked into doing what you wanted. They were strong, on their own and with their magical power. They were rich, as Xero's father is supposed to be one of the RICHEST men on the planet and they clearly had a deep bond, despite only knowing each other for about a year now.

No, it was better to leave them alone for now. Find more information, whatever they could use against him and if he nor his sister would submit...they will die. Simple as that.

After all, no matter how powerful, strong or skilled either of them were, they were still human after all.

Humans were weak, fragile and easy to manipulate.

Her queen was not.

But even she had to be careful. Despite having an army of limitless Grimm at her command, the younger Stark had his own army, proven when he locked Loki and his army within New York and unleashed, oh what did he call it? A Noble Phantasm she believed.

Yes, that was the word.

She'd seen those powerful attacks being unleashed on the alien army and knew for a fact; she would not survive if such an attack were aimed at her. However, those kinds of attacks HAD to be draining on the young master and with enough Grimm, she could wear both masters' down. But that would have to wait for a time. Get them alone and away from their allies, then give it a shot.

After all, no plan survived contact with the enemy.

"So, what do we do, boss?" Mercury asked, as Cinder narrowed her eyes, silently looking around as she spoke.

"For now? Nothing. We simply allow the situation to unfold and do nothing. We're not the only ones looking to...persuade him and his sister. Others aren't even hoping to recruit them and simply wish to kill him, so we'll let them do the dirty work for us."

After all, she had her eyes on a much more important target.

One thing about the maidens, is that if they're trained enough (Or untrained) to sense their fellow maidens. Ones that have years of training could learn to hide it but ones that are newly minted could not. While only having half of the fall maiden's power, Cinder could FEEL the presence of another. She could feel she was close but high up.

Perhaps one of those SHEILD soldiers or was it one of the Avengers?

Cinder frowned seeing most of them here, with that mutant Storm, the gunslinger Dominion, the healer Angel, the one with the unique light power Psylocke and of course the deadly assassin, Black Widow. Every single one of them was dangerous in their own right, be it their skills or unique abilities. It would be a nightmare if any of them had acquired the maiden's power and near impossible to steal from.

"But it's not any of them though."

Cinder thought, casting an eye about to see who else was might have the power she sought.

While the dark-skinned woman might have been an obvious prime suspect, her mutation already allowed her to control storms from a very young age. So clearly, it wasn't her, as their worlds only merged just recently. The afro woman, Dominion didn't display any type of magical ability, so she was out. The tiny blonde girl did have a magical aura to her but was wholly different from a maiden from what Cinder could sense. So it was unlikely she was the Summer maiden.

The bronze-colored woman had no magical energy to her and neither did the red head.

In fact, the red head had a similar aura to that crazy bastard Tyrian Callows:

A deadly and professional killer that was skilled in what she did and there was very little you could do to stop her, if she targeted you. Her eyes held experience and her walk was that of a grace of a killer.

A well-trained killer.

The type of killer, you had no hope of fighting off. Thus, in Cinder's mental file marked her down, as one of the dangerous ones. One that had no care for who you were, what you were and no matter where you hide, she'd find you and kill you.

No "If's" or "buts" about it.

"Hey boss, twelve o'clock, little red looking to make new friends."

Cinder was knocked out of her thoughts, as Mercury nudge her shoulder and made her see the daughter of her mistress most hated (And bigger thorn in her side, even more then Ozpin himself) making her way towards Xero and tapping his shoulder with a nervous smile. Hmmm, seems things will either become easier or more difficult now.

The Rose, if she became the Reaper friend, Cinder knew she could use the little girl as leverage against him. After all, the best way to beat someone is not to overpower them. But to take away what strength they had.

What better way to do that, then to strike where it hurts. Physical pain is a good motivator and all, but it can be healed.

Emotionally and mental pain, however?

That leave everlasting scars.

Done.

Devil out!
