Goku, Gohan and Goten teleported to their home in Mount Paozu - carrying the hope of seeing Chichi there - waiting for the three of them. The moment they arrived the house, they started looking for Chichi inside but there's no trace of her. The house is as empty as their hearts are. It looks gloomy and dark. Goku can see the table with rotten foods that his wife must have cooked for days. He swallowed the lump that started to build inside his larynx. He can't even keep his breathing pattern. This time, he wanted to burst. The desperation, the pain, the fear he was feeling added and fueled up his emotions that turns into a bitter taste within his soul. His emotion is not intact as it scattered to the thought of his wife who is currently missing with no ki presence at all. The thought of losing his wife scares the hell out of him and he can't even think of forgiving himself if ever that happens.

"She's not here, Dad." Goten said - absentmindedly. Goku knew how this affected Goten the most. Among the three of them, he's the one who loved to cling onto Chichi the most. He's Chichi's boy after all.

"Guys, let's calm the fuck down. This is not the time for us to panic. We have to find her first." Gohan's voice trembled. God knows how Gohan tried to be intact. He knew that his Dad and Goten couldn't think properly right now. At least, one of them is able to think in time like this. They can't afford to reckless in times like this.

"Let's start looking outside." Gohan then suggested.

"Wait... I found her ki." Goku - uttered. He thank all God when he finally sense her almost diminishing ki.

His wife is alive. Her ki is on the verge of dying down, but she's alive. Goku's breathing started going back to its normal pattern.

With a trembling hand, his two fingers touched his forehead and so he can transport to Chichi. Gohan and Goten touched him and so the three of them can go with him.

The three of them was teleported to the lake near their house where the four of them used to go for picnic and other family bonding. It brings back a lot of memories but those memories are starting get blurry.

They found Chichi lying on the grass near the tree where they used to hang out, have picnic. Chichi is almost lifeless when they arrived. She is not moving at all.

The three of them run to her side with worry. Goku immediately cheek for her pulse and he found one. Thank you, Kami!

Goku carefully lifted her almost lifeless body in his arms. He had never seen Chichi so weak until this day. She used to be so strong even when she aged. She used to be so healthy and seeing her in this state pains him. Tears started falling out of his eyes non stop. They'd been stuck in his eyes for months and now they're rushing to get out of his eyes. Chichi started getting blurry in his sight as tears on his eyes kept on flowing out. He touched her face gently - careful not to cause her any pain but she isn't moving. He can't even feel her in his skin. Her body is cold as if she was in freeze for a long time. This brought him pain more. His wife. His poor wife. Why did she end up like this?

"Chichi..." He called her - trying to wake her up. He wished she would open her eyes and look at him with the same hatred she used to give him whenever she's pissed. He wanted to see her open her eyes. He badly wanted to.

"Dad, she was just sleeping right? Why can't I feel her?" Goten was crying beside him. Goku didn't know what to answer him. He is lost for words himself.

"Dad, we should take her to the hospital." Gohan is about to take her mother away from his father's hold cause he seemed to be lost, but his mother's hand lifted and reached for his hand instead. Gohan cried when he finally felt his mother's hand. She's fine. He can only hope.

Goku snapped and looked at his wife when she felt her moved. Slowly, Chichi opened her eyes and it directed to him - staring at him straight in the eyes. She looks so exhausted and sick. Her losing ki started getting back to normal but that didn't even calm Goku down. He still wanted to weep until the pain subsides.

"Gohan..." Chichi started. She was too weak to even speak but she called Gohan. Gohan stared at his very weak mother as he tried to compose himself.

"Thank you for coming ... back with your... brother.." The sobs that Gohan kept on suppressing erupted as he listened to her voice. 6 months of not hearing her voice felt like forever.

"No, mom! Don't speak. I'll take you to the hospital right now." Gohan shook his head when he saw how Chichi is having a hard time continuing to speak. His mother's ki is starting to get weak againa as he speak. This is so depressing.

"I'm so sorry, mom. I was an asshole. I am here. You don't have to be scared anymore. I will never leave you." Goten uttered - tears flowing out of his eyes. He caressed his mother's hair. He is scared. He is so scared that it hurts. He didn't want to close his eyes as he is too scared to blink and find her fading. No, he can't afford to lose her.

"You don't have to wait anymore, Chichi. We're here. We will always come home to you." Goku cried as he buried his face in her neck - smelling her scent. The scent he missed for years.

"Please..." He whispered in her ear - begging her to stay with him. He would be damned without her.

"I know I don't have the right to ask this, but Chichi please keep on holding onto me, to us."

Goku reached for her cheek as he caressed her cheek lightly. He kissed her forehead as tears kept on flowing out from his eyes down to her face.

"I'm so sorry, Chichi. For all the pains I've caused you. I beg you to never forgive me for the rest of our lives. I don't mind you getting mad at me for eternity. I'd rather have you mad at me than nothing at all." He sobbed.

Chichi's hand reached to Goten's face. His son inched her mother to let her caress his cheek.

"I've missed you so much, Goten."

"I missed you too, mom." Goten cried. "There's no day, I ain't thinking of you. I have a lot of stories to tell you. You have to listen to them. I don't fucking care if you don't like them, but you just have to listen to them."

Chichi's other hand reached to touch Gohan's hand. Her eldest son seemed to be in shock. He was just staring at her with the same pain - mirroring hers.

"Mom..." Gohan uttered and in pain.

"I can't..." Gohan shook his head. He can't do this.

"Mom, I can't live without you." Gohan broke down.

The moment the two saiyans heard what Gohan had said, the three of them started sobbing once again.

Surely, the three of them can't live without her.

The sobbing was interrupted when a clap erupted and a loud laugh echoed around them. Goten recognized the voice. He thought he was just hallucinating but he isn't. He's here.

In front of them is Keanu with his angel - grinning at them as if he's seeing a festival.

"What a nice reunion you have here, mortals."

Goten can't believe that this asshole would really go down following him here.

"What are you doing here?"

Goten stood up and so he can face the stranger. Goku and Gohan noticed Keanu's presence but they were both preoccupied with the thoughts of Chichi.

Goku stood up - carrying Chichi in his arms.

"Who is he?" asked Chichi.

"He's nothing, Chichi. I'm gonna take you to the hospital now --"

"Please... I don't want to leave Goten here. The guy is a bad news."

"But Chichi --"

"I am fine, Goku. Remember, I promised to get mad at you forever." Goku melted when he saw her small smile that brought him to another dimension.

"Dad, you have to take mom away from here." Goten said to him. Goku can only looked at his son with worry. A God of Destruction is in front of him and not just some guy. He can't handle him. It's not like, Goku can handle the God, but Goten don't stand a chance at all.

"Goten is right, Dad. I'll stay here as you take mom to the hospital. You can come back after that --"

Goku closed his eyes. When he was about to point his two finger to transport Chichi to Capsule Corp, his wife slipped away from his hold and run to Goten's direction. It must have been the exhaustion and so he isn't able to notice her movements.

Stupid, Goku!

He run after his wife but it was too late as an invisible force took her on air. The invisible force is currently choking her.

His eyes widened and he was about to fly to her when Chichi started to struggle within that invisible force.

"One wrong move and she'll die."

The three of them stopped moving upon hearing Keanu. Goten can feel the anger that starting to build up inside him. Gohan was thinking of a way on how to get his mom down. Goku was furious as hell.

"What do you want?" Goten said sternly - hands itching to destroy something, someone rather.

"Oh, nothing fancy. I just visited your planet and unfortunately, I have witness your family reunion."

Goten swallowed the lump in his throat along with the pride he has within him as a Saiyan. He should have done this earlier. He should have done this but his pride tells him no. Now, his mother is the one suffering with what his pride had done. Damn it!

He started walking near Keanu who only looked at him with a grin.

"Gotten, what are you doing?!" Gohan shouted but he didn't listen to him.

Saiyajin? Pride? Who gives a fuck about that? He can throw anything for his mother and he meant to throw that pride away. Right now. Right here.

Slowly, he kneeled in front of Keanu. The God laughed at that and he can hear his father and Gohan's gasp in the back ground. He looked pathetic but nothing's more important right now that his mother's life.

"Please, you can do whatever you want to do with me. Just let my mom go. She doesn't have anything to do with our conflict. Spare her." He begged.

If Vegeta can see him, he would probably be disgusted and would probably insult him all over again but he can't take seeing his mother - struggling to breath when he can do somehlthing - and that is to beg for Keanu's mercy. The God snapped his fingers - undoing whatever that chokes his mom.

Chichi stopped struggling from that invisible force that chokes her, but she isn't freed yet.

Keanu looked at Goten with a smug smirk on his lips. He then eyed Goku and Gohan who were both looking at him with hate.

"I really wanted to give you a parting gift Goten." Keanu started. "Something you will never forget for the rest of your life."

Goten froze, eyes widening. He stared at Keanu with disbelief.

No, he can't be serious! He won't go that far!

Goten started to feel the sweat coming out of his skin as he gets cold. His eyes shifted to his mother who was slowly falling from above as a very small destruction ki made it's way to her.

"Mom!!!"

Goten run after that ki but it was too late as it pierced straight to Chichi's heart. His world stopped moving as reality struck him, big time with no notice. He watched how his mother fell from above to the ground. Goku was able to catch her but the ki reached her with no undoing.

Goten fell into his knees. Anger and pain enveloped him as he remember the last moment he had with his mom. So many strong emotions kept on building up inside him and he couldn't control them. He can't control himself. No, he wanted to lose control of himself and so in that way, he can kill anyone without a blink. He erupted and his cries reached the core of earth - shattering whatever restrain he has within him.

Keanu left already but Goten was still shaking from rage.

That asshole will pay!

Another rawr and he is about to fly to wherever Keanu is and kill him himself right there, but he felt Gohan's arms around him - completely restraining him flying. He was in his beast form while restraining him cause he is uncontrollable.

"Gohan, I'm gonna fucking destroy him! Let me go!" He yelled. There's no way that asshole gonna run after killing his mother. There's no way in hell, he will let him go easily. He would fucking destroy until he bleeds.

"Goten, it's just a small ki. Mom is fine."

He calmed down upon hearing that. Both brother run to their mother.

The guys arrived and they were all watching as Goku tries to hold Chichi on place.

"Mom..." Goten kneeled in front of Chichi.

"What do we do, dad?" Gohan asked Goku. Goku shook his head for he didn't know what to do.

"There's nothing you can do. A destruction ki pierced through her. She'd disappear soon." Beerus stated and that struck Goten, Gohan and Goku.

"What? No, the dragon ball! We can use the dragon --" Bulma started blubbering while crying but was cut off by Whis.

"A destruction ki erases one person's existence. No dragon ball can bring her back."

Goku shook his head. No, there's no way Chichi would die like this. His sobs got louder as he saw how Chichi's body started to turn into a shredded crystals.

"No, no, no.. Chichi.. You can't leave me like this. You promised to hate me forever. Chichi... Please.." He sobbed.

"Mom.."

"Chichi..."

Slowly, Chichi's body turns into dust. Silence is deafening them.

"She's gone." Goku uttered lowly. He seemed to be losing himself. He felt like Chichi carried his heart with her.

"Your mother's gone, Gohan, Goten."

"Am I not the strongest in this universe? Then why am I not able to save her?"

"Goku, it's no one's fault. It's Keanu's fault." Krilin said - consoling him. But there's nothing that can console him nor can erased the pain he is feeling right now. He is beyond repair. He's breaking inside.

Bulma's puffy eyes shifted to Goten when she noticed him - leaving.

"Goten, where are you going?"

Everyone's eyes averted to Goten.

"Maybe this is my punishment for killing that woman. Maybe this is my punishment for being an asshole. The world is punishing me right now!"

Bulma's eyes widened. She realized how chaotic this is. It isn't just Goku who seemed to have lost his mind. Goten was lost in his trance as well. She stood in front of him - trying to read him.

"I kneeled in front of him. I begged him to spare her, but he killed her. He killed her and now, I don't even know where that asshole is."

"Hey, it's not your fault. " Bulma's tried to coax him.

"It is, Bulma-san. He said he will gift me something I will never forget for the rest of my life. And he did, cause I don't think I will ever move on with the thought of losing my mother this way."

"Gohan..." Videl tried touching Gohan's face, because he was not moving at all. In fact, she feels like he isn't breathing as well.

"Gohan, please... You still have me and Pan."

Gohan breathed. Tears started falling out of his eyes as he eyed his wife who is also crying with him.

"Videl, I feel like I just lost my will to live."

That day, Goku, Gohan, and Goten was reminded of the comfort they took for granted.
