Yogiri & party's carriage finally rolled into Mirula, which looked like a middle eastern village. The area they had entered appeared to be a market area–a bazaar of sorts.

"18,000… 1,200… 6,932…"

Otto was inexplicably muttering numbers under his breath as they passed market stall after market stall. Yogiri looked at him inquisitively.

"Ah. I was just looking at the prices here. They are all quite remarkable."

"Is everything cheap here?"

"Quite the opposite. Everything here is stupidly overpriced!"

"So it's like a tourist trap? That makes sense, considering there isn't much of anything in the desert except the watchtower and this city."

"Considering that this place feels almost deserted, I wonder if the markup of their luxury goods is a ploy to lure in travelers who might spend large amounts of money?"

Echidna thought, however, that it was no wonder why this city was so deserted, when it was built in a place that had almost no natural resources to survive by.

"By the way, doesn't Frederica seem pretty obsessed with Reinhard?"

"Indeed. I've noticed that Frederica spends a majority of her time in his presence talking to him and looking at him specifically."

It had gotten to the point where she had started a conversation with him while they had all been camping during their trip to Mirula, and got so engrossed in it that she was entirely ignoring the happenings around her, let alone the passage of time. According to Beatrice they had spoken until nearly midnight, on an incredible variety of topics.

At one point early on in the conversation, Frederica had left her food cooking in the fire for too long, and it had caught. The fire had traveled nearly to her hand before she stopped it.

"Incidentally, they are alone at the front of the carriage right now. They could be up to something quite lew–"

Yogiri quickly covered Echidna's mouth. Normally he might have let that slide, but the thought of hearing such comments come out of the mouth of a girl that looked nearly 12 years old made him uneasy.

"Would they be, I wonder? I am certain that Frederica has some sort of feelings for Reinhard. But… is the way he looks at me not reminiscent of the way Frederica looks at him, I wonder?"

Beatrice shook a little in Yogiri's lap. (She had sat there for nearly the entire trip, and although Yogiri's legs had fallen asleep and it was quite uncomfortable, he didn't quite have it in him to stop her. It was like when a cat fell asleep on your lap while you sat on your sofa, and you wanted to move but didn't want to wake up the cat.)

"Oh my… Could it be that Reinhard is ignoring Frederica's advances because he is a lolico–"

Yogiri quickly covered Echidna's mouth once again.

The window that led to the front of the carriage opened, and Reinhard peered in from outside.

"I believe I heard my name. Did one of you need something?"

Echidna bit Yogiri's hand, which made him flinch and retract his hand, and spoke up, for the sake of her own curiosity.

"Reinhard, are you, perhaps, taken with girls on the youn–"

"Sorry Reinhard, it's really nothing!"

Otto quickly slammed the window shut, while Yogiri hurriedly stopped Echidna from continuing her question.

By the way, the reason Echidna had not died from harming Yogiri is because Yogiri's automatic defenses did not work against people he cared about. In the case someone he cared about needed to die, he had to manually activate his powers. This had happened with Ram, and that was why she had even had the chance to move mana to her hand, let alone recite even a little piece of an incantation.

However, Emilia's case was different, as her rant had killed all of the care Yogiri had for her, which was why she died instantly the moment she intended to harm him.

Suddenly, the carriage jerked to a stop.

The window opened once again, and this time Frederica was looking at the inhabitants of the carriage.

"We have arrived at our destination."

Everyone left the carriage through the door, and looked at the building they had stopped at.

It was quite fancy looking compared to other buildings they had seen here. A sign above the doorway read "Kreed's Ceed and Feed. Formerly Snuck's."

According to most dictionaries, ceed was a word which meant 'place of sleep', which could indicate a bed, a bedroom, or an inn. In this case, it was likely an inn.

Yogiri walked to the door of the inn, and grabbed the handle, pulling it open. However, because someone else had been pushing on it from the other side, it opened too far and someone fell forward onto Yogiri.

It was a small girl with extremely fluffy, white clothing and purple hair.

Yogiri had met her before, and recognized her. Her name was Anastasha–or something like that.

Behind her was a knight, also sporting purple hair, Julius Juukulius.

One of his eyes was twitching a little bit, as was his smile.

"So, Mr. Takatou, why is it ya didn't let go of me fer so long after I fell on ya? Care ta explain?"

Yogiri thought for a bit, and then landed on an answer.

"Ah!"

"Did ya finally think of a poor excuse fer yer actions?"

"Maybe… because your boobs are soft?"

At that moment, everyone aside from Echidna, Frederica, and Reinhard glared at Yogiri.

Anastasia, however, looked strangely proud of herself.

It was explained later that Anastasia happened to be staying at that inn as well as Yogiri and party. When they tried to get rooms for everyone, there wasn't enough room, so Anastasia had offered to let Yogiri stay in hers with Julius.

The loud screams that happened in that moment still rang in Kreed's ears.

In the end, it was decided that Otto would stay with Anastasia and Julius.

Somewhere in Japan, a young teenage boy was dreaming. He was dreaming of what he wanted to remember, that was, he was dreaming of fantasy. He dreamed of being isekai'd, of being thrown into a fantasy world, finding love, and having true freedom through power. His name is Akihiro Atsushi. Fifteen years old, with long, messy black hair and glasses on his face.

Although, not literally, since he didn't sleep with his glasses on. However, at this moment, having woken up and put them on, he was wearing them.

He woke up at around 3:00 P.M. today, having stayed awake until something like 5:00 A.M. last night. He was playing a visual novel that night, and it had really gotten his attention. Today was monday, but on a summer break that was irrelevant.

Rising out of bed, Akihiro stepped onto the hardwood floor of his room. And then, he noticed something. The all too familiar slap of his bare feet hitting the hardwood floor was gone. Oh, and the room was gone too.

Turning around, Akihiro saw no bed.

"Please face me."

Akihiro heard a feminine voice from behind him, and turned. He saw a single, beautiful woman standing alone in the void he found himself in.

She had red eyes, and white hair, and wore a red and black kimono. On her hip was an odd sheathe holding a katana which had a black handle. Her skin was pale, and in the darkness it seemed to glow beautifully. Her visage was serene.

Akihiro tried to understand what he was seeing in the void, to comprehend its texture and color, but it was impossible, and he gave up realizing the futility.

"Okay. So you're the goddess of something-or-other, and I'm about to get sent to another world, right?"

"I see… As expected of you. Yes, we will be sending you to another world. You may go to any fictional world you please, with any powers you please."

Akihiro thought back to what franchise had the most appealing female characters, as well as the easiest powers to counter.

"In that case, I'll be going to the world of Re:Zero, with the ability to save and load any points in time, and I also want to become Ainz Ooal Gown from Overlord."

The goddess seemed to make a face upon hearing the words 'Re:Zero', which made sense considering what happens in that particular story.

"Ah… That will be agreeable. Now, I will be sending you over. Please note I would answer any of your questions should you ask. Simply ask out loud for 'Ragatha F'taghu-sama' and I will come."

Despite her beauty, her name sounded almost barbaric. And her surname was completely incomprehensible. Akihiro could hear it, and repeat it as well, but the contents of what he had heard were impossible to comprehend or put into separate sounds. It was otherworldly.

"May I simply call you Ra-sama?"

Akihiro thought that saying Ragatha F'taghu-sama every time he wanted answers was a bit too much effort.

"I see why you would want to do so. In that case, yes, I permit it. Now go."

Suddenly, whatever Akihiro was standing on previously disappeared, and he began falling into the abyss.

"Thank you Ra-sama!"

As he fell endlessly, he yelled this, before disappearing.

Suddenly, natural light came back to Akihiro. He was now in the sunlight, he was in the place of his dreams. He had been isekai'd. The only issue was, he was still falling.

"Woooaaah!"

[Fly]

Akihiro cast this spell mentally, having gained awareness of his available spells and abilities. He mentally saved, and then surveyed his surroundings. He was floating above what looked like the capital of Lugnica as seen in the anime. The only issue was that most of the capital was missing, like entire cubic chunks of it were perfectly extracted.

"Shit looks like a chunk error…"

Akihiro took note of his skeletal hands, and the fluttering black robe he was wearing. He truly was Ainz Ooal Gown.

"Fuck, this is awesome, but what the hell happened? Ra-sama, c'mere please!"

Akihiro called out for his goddess, and she appeared before him almost instantly.

"Woah! That was a bit scary, anyway, what happened here?"

"Allow me to look at the logs… It appears a particularly powerful beast was feeding here."

Akihiro took note that she did not mention destroying, only feeding. That had some terrifying implications.

"I see, then, can I ask some other questions while you're here?"

"Yes, please rely on me."

"Okay, sure. Where's Rem?"

"She was killed by an otherworlder known as Yogiri Takatou."

Another otherworlder? That was something that greatly interested Akihiro, especially since it wasn't Subaru.

"Well, that's one objective down, I'm glad she's dead already. What about Ram?"

"She was also killed by that same otherworlder."

Fuck.

"I see… God FUCKING damnit!"

Akihiro looked for something to hit, but since he was midair the only thing he could have hit was the goddess, so Akihiro instead ended up just awkwardly looking around and flailing his arms.

"Okay… What about Felt-chan?"

"She has been killed by Yogiri Takatou."

FUCK.

"Okay.,. What about Capella?"

"She has been killed by Yogiri Takatou."

GOD FUCK.

"What happened to Pandora-chan."

"Killed by Yogiri Takatou."

FUCK FUCK FUCK.

"Okay… What about Anastasia-tan?"

"She is alive…"

"Yes! Yes! Finally! Holy shit yes! No harem for me but FUCK YES!"

"...and currently journeying with Yogiri Takatou."

"Hah… Ha! Hahahahaha! FUCKING BITCH!"

Akihiro threw a punch at Ragatha but she simply disappeared.

"Please calm down."

"Where is Yogiri Takatou."

"Yogiri Takatou is currently on a road which appears to lead to Mirula."

"Mirula?"

"Mirula is a settlement located on the edge of the Augria Sand Dunes."

"I see, headed towards the tower then. Can you give me an item?"

"I have already given you more than enough. I must go now. Please call me when you need to ask something further."

With that, Ragatha disappeared.

"Basically, this guy killed Pandora, Capella, Ram, Rem, and probably many others. So he's probably goddamn powerful right? Well, I doubt he's much compared to me. I can go back in time as well as use bullshit spells like [Time Stop]. I'll just find him and kill him, and then I'll… I'll erase Anastasia's memories of him and try to properly romance her. Sounds great, yeah."

Akihiro flew towards a highway to the east and decided to stick to it.

Arriving at Mirula, Akihiro took note of the sandy dunes which surrounded it. He was currently walking the streets with the Momon disguise from Overlord so as to not stand out.

He was on the lookout for anyone with black hair, as he knew it was a rarity in Re:Zero and a distinct feature of someone who was Japanese like Yogiri obviously was.

The general plan was to stop time and quickly dispatch Yogiri. Akihiro was no fool, and knew dragging it out to torture him or ask him questions was a foolish mistake. A clearly powerful otherworlder would probably be nothing to joke around about. If he really did get killed, he would loop back to a save point he had just made.

Suddenly, Akihiro spotted something. A man who was being followed by Beatrice, Anastasia, and Ryuzu. It was clearly Yogiri Takatou.

Akihiro calmly walked toward them, and the group halted in his presence.

Wasting no time on asking questions, Akihiro got to work.

He removed his armor, revealing his true form, and then—

[Time Stop]

The world froze, and nothing moved anymore. Akihiro walked calmly towards Yogiri, and then behind him. He lifted his hand with two fingers pointed out, and then—

Instead of casting [Dimensional Slash] and ending this, something happened.

There were lines all around Akihiro. They were all around him, and then they suddenly opened. No, they weren't lines, they were eyelids. The eyes were all staring at Akihiro. They were staring as if to say that they knew exactly what he was doing, and as if to say that he wouldn't do it. Akihiro came to the conclusion that the eyes had not simply appeared, the eyelids were always there, just imperceptible. They had been there the entire time, he had just never even seen them—never noticed them.

The only thing running through Akihiro's mind then was that he needed to get away. The fear from knowing what had just happened—what had just been witnessed, combined with the primal fear within him of this thing was simply too much. Yes, Yogiri was not a person, it was a thing. There was nothing human about the thing standing before him, back turned towards Akihiro. It would be delusional to claim it was a human.

Load.

Akihiro looped back. He was in an alleyway. He walked out of it, ready to simply turn the other way, to never go towards Yogiri again. After all, it wasn't like he needed Anastasia. He would find some random village girl, or maybe someone like Priscilla or Crusch. He could settle down with them and live out his fantasy.

As he thought on this, finally regaining some sanity, and some hope, he saw something.

A line.

A faint line, but Akihiro could see it well enough. Suddenly, the line opened into an eye, and he saw thousands of eyes open in front of him. They all stared at him with accusatory glares. He had gone back, but they still knew what he did. There was nothing he could do to lie to them.

Akihiro laughed hysterically, and killed himself. But no matter how many times he tried, he would always see the eyes–no–it was more like he was always seen by the eyes. Eventually he gave up, becoming totally unable to even think, let alone spare the effort to kill himself.

"I don't understand, I don't understand, I don't understand, I don't understand, I don't understand, I don't understand, I don't understand, I don't understand, I don't understand, I don't understand, I don't understand, I don't understand, I don't understand, I don't understand, I don't understand, I don't understand…"

Ragatha F'taghu sat in the fetal position in the middle of her domain. It was a void in which the only thing that existed was her and whatever she chose to will into that void. A god was completely omniscient and omnipotent in their own domain. Of course, omniscience and omnipotence were both paradoxical, but barring a few specific things which she hadn't even thought of, Ragatha could do anything she wanted, and learn anything she wanted, in this place.

And yet, she didn't understand. She didn't understand what Yogiri was, or how to kill it. She wanted desperately to avenge her husband, and yet she couldn't do anything against this being. She could summon otherworlder after otherworlder to fight it, but she would likely glean nothing from those fights. It was always the same. The beings that fought that thing died instantly. If circumstances got particularly awful, she would have to fight it at her full power.

She decided on a course of action.

Yogiri & party walked toward their carriage, which was parked in the stables next to the inn. They had rested at the inn, and were going to leave for the sage's watchtower as soon as they could. Otto had informed them that everything here to be purchased as a souvenir was overpriced, and could be found elsewhere for cheaper, so they decided against going shopping.

Anastasia had agreed, and was actually planning to join a sort of caravan with them to travel to the watchtower. She had come to Mirula in the first place because, due to the collapse of Lugnica, she no longer had much to do except for managing her business. Unfortunately, Mirula was incredibly disappointing to her, so she had planned to leave immediately. However, when she heard that they were going to seek a supposedly all-knowing sage in the watchtower, she decided she would join them. She had always wanted to go, but knew the place was well protected. However, with Yogiri there, it likely wouldn't be an issue.

Unfortunately, circumstances caused their travel to be delayed.

Just as they were about to get on the carriage, Yogiri disappeared.

It had been an hour since Yogiri disappeared, and yet nobody was particularly worried for him.

"Yogiri will likely be fine. I can't imagine anything successfully killing that thing."

It was a sentiment shared by most of the people there.

"'That thing'? What do you mean by that?"

Otto was a little distressed by the word choice.

"You don't need to worry about it, I suppose."

Beatrice understood Echidna's word choice, and chose to allow the rest of them to remain ignorant.

"Although, because he is gone, we are somewhat vulnerable. This would be the least fortunate time for us to be attacked."

"Please do not say such things!"

Otto exclaimed, as he knocked on the wood of the carriage.

"I agree with Otto in that regard. Such things are bound to happen when you say things like that."

Frederica had heard Yogiri call such an effect "raising a flag."

"Do you all really believe in such childish things, I wonder? It must be pitiful knowing that I am more mature than all of you."

Beatrice smiled, smugly, and raised her head a bit, as if she was looking down on them. Of course, because she was so short, this did very little.

"Yet another flag raised…"

Frederica muttered to herself, and then sighed.

A grave in Mirula suddenly shook. The dirt which buried a dead man was pushed upward. Out of that hole came a middle-aged man with green, rotting skin, and hair which was falling out.

His demeanor was cheerful, and he was smiling widely as he stood on top of his former grave.

He spread his arms wide, and joyously yelled

"Ooooooh MAN! Does it feel good to be back!"

He looked around him. The only things surrounding him were some scared looking humans.

"I'm feeling a bit lonely! Well, I suppose a few friends would be nice, isn't that right?!"

The graves around him shook, the dirt was pushed up, and more green, rotting zombies rose out of their graves.

In an instant, every body in the graveyard had risen. Men, women, and children alike.

"But, I could always use a bit more!"

The man shot his right arm forward, and ordered his zombies to turn every human they saw into a zombie. He wanted an entire city of friends.

The humans ran away screaming, but eventually they would be cornered by the horde and eaten.

The man, a commoner named Cromwell, was a necromancer that had lived some 400 years ago, in the time of witches. He was the originator of that cursed magic, but because of his prosecution and subsequent death, it didn't survive to the current age.

Of course, only a total idiot of a necromancer would die without some kind of way to keep living after. He ended up making a sort of magic that was practically a wakeup alarm, and set it for 400 years from now. He figured by then that everyone who wanted him and his arts gone would be dead, or would have forgotten about him.

As Cromwell and his undead horde, which rapidly multiplied, marched through the streets, he came across a boy who was sitting on the floor in the fetal position, unblinking, and crying. He kept mumbling some words which Cromwell couldn't really understand. They were "Yogiri Takatou."

"Considering the composition of those, it's probably a name. Very peculiar! Oh well, eat him."

The man was grabbed by zombies and eaten. It was quite slow and painful, because he was so powerful that his skin was almost impossible to chew through.

It had been nearly an hour by the time they finished, and they continued marching. They arrived at the market district.

Just as Frederica sighed, a great shaking was felt. It was like a massive army was marching. They could hear screams nearby too, although all of them were cut short.

"See! I knew this would happen!"

Otto was terrified, and jumped into the carriage to hide.

Yogiri wasn't here, so any hope he had of survival rested on Echidna, Beatrice, and Frederica. But he knew that they were doomed to be attacked by ridiculously powerful beings, like gods. There was no hope for any of them if Yogiri wasn't here.

The rest of the group, outside of the carriage, were still confused as to what was happening.

Julius and Anastasia ran toward them from their carriage.

"Do any of ya know what's happenin'?"

Anastasia looked a bit distressed, and Julius did as well.

"We were wondering as well."

Echidna could only really tell them the obvious: a large group was attacking people in the city. She didn't know who or why.

Suddenly, a massive horde of people were marching toward them through an alleyway nearby.

They all had rotting, green skin, and hair falling out. Their clothes were ragged or completely missing.

"Eek!"

Frederica let out a squeak, blushed, and then jumped into the carriage with Otto.

She had been embarrassed because of the nudity of some of the zombies. Although Frederica was somewhat okay with being naked around men when she had to go into her other form, she was very embarrassed by male nudity.

"That's a matter of course, I suppose. She was scared of such childish things as being jinxed, so should it really be a surprise she got scared of a bunch of pitiful zombies, I wonder?"

Beatrice smiled smugly yet again. She had been correct on her judgment twice.

"Although, she was right…"

Echidna's opinion made Beatrice blush a little.

"Sh-Shut up!"

"I humbly request, ladies, that we stop fighting and focus upon the issue at hand. That horde is quite close."

Julius drew his sword from its sheath, and raised it toward the undead horde.

"You're right, I suppose."

"Indeed. Let us fight."

Saying this, all three of them went forth and attacked the undead horde.

Julius used his sword and his spirits to cut down dozens of undead with one swipe. Beatrice used her magic to freeze countless undead with yin. And Echidna used her immense magical power to burn, freeze, electrify, and bury hundreds of undead.

This continued for hours, with them killing scores of undead.

And yet, they were being pushed back. The numbers of undead were simply too ridiculous for them to win.

The group was now bunched up near the carriage door. They were surrounded, with no escape. The fighters were still at the front of the group, fighting off any approaching undead, but they all knew that at some point one of the zombies would slip past and bite them. At that point, it would be over for them.

"My oh my! You fellows have lasted a bit longer than everyone else in this city! I must congratulate you!"

There was one particular undead who spoke, and was flying. He was clapping his hands in a very overexaggerated fashion.

"My name is Cromwell! I am the man who controls all these undead. Of course, I also made them in the first place! Not to steal all of the glory from my friends. Now then, please die and become one of my friends as well!"

The zombies attacked with renewed vigor, and almost broke through. Suddenly, the carriage door was flung open.

"Woah. A zombie apocalypse? Actually, no. First, die."

The entire crowd of zombies fell down.

Suddenly, Yogiri popped into reality. He was now in what looked like space. Around him were galaxies and stars. He was in a total void. Normally, one would die if they were in space, but Yogiri had shifted into his second phase, and killed the concept of needing oxygen to live within him.

In front of him were two massive beings. They were humanoid, but so massive they easily trumped multiple galaxies. The milky way was roughly the size of their palm.

One of them wore a red and black kimono. It was a woman with hair tied back in a ponytail.

Yogiri recognized her, but didn't remember her name.

Next to her was a boy who looked to be roughly 15 years old. He wore a sort of completely white shepherd's robe, and his hair was short and white. His eyes were completely red.

"Hello, Yogiri Takatou."

The woman spoke up.

"I presume you remember me?"

Yogiri thought back, trying to remember her name.

"...Uh… Lagasa?"

The woman's eyebrow twitched. In doing so, it destroyed half of an entire galaxy.

"Wrong! I am Ragatha F'taghu. You killed my husband. You have nearly destroyed my family. This is the last remaining member of my family, Kipple F'taghu. He is the son I made with the man you killed. Now, this child will never experience having a father ever again. Do you feel happy?"

"Not really."

"I see, you feel bad, then?"

Yogiri didn't really know Kipple, so he couldn't properly judge whether or not he felt bad for him. If Kipple was a bad person, he couldn't say he felt bad.

"I don't know."

He answered as honestly as he could.

"You…"

The boy spoke up, finally. Rage was showing on his face.

"Anyway, why am I here? Could you take me back to my friends if that was all you needed?"

"Filth. You don't even feel a shred of remorse. Bend your knee and kneel before me, a god. You are nothing but a pitiful mortal. You have taken away my father's life, and my mother's sanity, all for your own selfish goals. Your hubris and your greed will be what causes you to die by my hands."

The boy spoke up, and swiped his hand toward Yogiri. As it went toward him, it completely annihilated numerous galaxies in its path. Every meteor, moon, planet, star, solar system, nebula, asteroid, living being, black hole, and neutron star was completely annihilated. In the path of this god's palm, nothing could survive. Its pinky finger could destroy a tenth of a galaxy with a mere flick. That same pinky finger trailed toward Yogiri, it destroyed numerous stars and planets. It paid no mind to any of this, it simply kept going. The only thing on the mind of this god was Yogiri. He only thought of killing Yogiri.

The hand nearly reached Yogiri, and then stopped. The god simply stopped.

The god's body was now floating in space. Propelled by the velocity of his hand, he floated forward. As he did, he destroyed galaxy after galaxy. Nearly thirteen galaxy clusters were destroyed by this alone. Suddenly, he stopped. Yogiri had chosen to, while still in his second phase, kill the velocity of the god's body.

"No…"

The goddess, Ragatha, turned toward the corpse of her son, taking out multiple galaxies with such a minor movement.

"Kipple… Kipple, wake up, Kipple please…"

Massive solar system sized teardrops rolled down the goddess's cheek.

"No… No… He's dead. I don't understand…"

The goddess looked at Yogiri one last time, and then disappeared.

"I guess she's not going to teleport me back. I'll just kill the distance between where I am currently and the door of the carriage."

Yogiri disappeared.

"I don't understand, I don't understand, I don't understand, I don't understand, I don't understand…"

She had teleported Yogiri to a random world in the sea, and her son had fought with him at full power, and died.

"I need help. Please…"

She sent a summon to a god she knew to come to her and help her. He was another god like her, and experienced with killing powerful god-killing mortals.

Suddenly, a boy with black hair appeared in the space with her.

His name was Daichi. Nobody really knew his surname.

"I'm surprised you're asking for help, with how powerful you are, Ragatha. What put you in such a state? I'll deal with it, for a price."

Her face was a mess, tears and snot running down it, her hair ruined from pulling at it.

"Please help me. Please. I'll give you anything."

"Well, tell me what it is, and I might help."

"A being called Yogiri Takatou. It killed my son and my husband, instantly. With just a thought, they died. I couldn't bring them back, or anything. Their souls were obliterated!"

She began sobbing even more loudly.

"Pfft. Hahahahahahaha! Hahahahahaha! Well that's what you get when you act like that. Hahahahahahahahahahahaaaa!"

"What are you…?"

"You're talking about the end, right? That being, which kills anything which dares to get in its way, no matter where it is? That thing which has killed so many stupid gods that get too big-headed and egotistical. Isn't that right?"

"Wha–"

"In that case, I won't help you. I'm going to lay low from now until forever, because I don't want even a chance of accidentally attacking that thing in some form. Now that it has some relation to me, I will live my life in peace. I'm not here to help you anymore, I'm here to laugh at you! Hahahaha! Your shitty personality finally caught up to you, and now you're confused as to why you're made to suffer! Dumb bitch. You wanna know why those of us that know about that thing didn't tell you? Because if we did, you'd go attack it and realize you're going to lose. Once that happens, you realize that there is something that can stop you. Something you don't know about. It destroys your omnipotence, your omniscience. As most go mad, losing their power because of that thing, they usually try to attack it and die. That's how most gods are. They can't comprehend losing in a fight to anything, or not knowing about something, so they simply think 'what a trivial matter' and attack that being. Did you ever wonder why gods died? Surely you'd heard about gods dying, usually of natural causes. You probably never thought about it, but gods are immortal, right? Gods shouldnt be able to die, because they're omnipotent and omniscient, that's what the laws of reality say. And yet some of us do die. Well, that thing is why. They all die by that thing's hands for some reason or another. One mistake and they're gone, obliterated. Even a foundation eater is nothing compared to that thing. Basically, you're done for. Enjoy your short life while it lasts. You're going to die soon, I bet. You're a goddess, so you'll disregard all the facts I'm presenting and go try to kill that thing, and die trying. That's all I have to say. Sucks to suck, bitch. Bye-bye!"

The boy disappeared, leaving Ragatha alone in her space.

Of course, she had stopped listening to him pretty quickly. Nothing he had said made any sense, it just sounded like the ramblings of a madman or an idiot.

If her son and husband couldn't kill that thing, she could. That was what she had decided. She was a goddess, after all. It would be trivial.

"Impressive move, boy! However, zombies always get back up!" Cromwell explained.

However, none of the zombies stood back up.

"Sir Takatou! How glad I am to see you!"

"Eh?! Mr. Takatou is back?! We're saved!"

"Yaaay! Yer back!"

Cromwell looked puzzled.

"What the hell?"

He floated gently to the ground, and landed on a zombie's corpse. He paid it no mind, and walked toward the group of people, who had all moved behind the black haired boy, who Cromwell realized was the Yogiri Takatou that kid had been mumbling about.

"So you're Yogiri Takatou?"

"Yogiri, is this another person who has sworn vengeance on you, I wonder?"

"I don't know. Never seen him before."

"Quite wrong! I am not someone who has sworn vengeance on him! I only heard of him in passing! But to think he was this powerful! I suppose I will take you on myself!"

The necromancer jumped forward at incredible speeds, creating a sharp bone in his hand to stab Yogiri with.

"No thanks."

And then he fell, and landed on the ground, skidding to Yogiri's feet. He stopped just before them, just a corpse.

"What a creep."

Suddenly, a hole which was so black it looked like a black hole opened behind Cromwell's corpse.

Out of it came a woman wearing a black and red kimono.

"Yogiri Takatou! It is I, the goddess Ragatha F'taghu! You killed my son and my husband, prepare to die!"

The woman reached toward her sword, which was on her hip.

"Could you people let me rest? I'm tired."

Yogiri yawned while saying 'I'm tired'.

And then, Ragatha collapsed and fell to the ground like a puppet with its strings cut.

"What in the world…?"

This comment made by Anastasia contained the shared sentiments of everyone in the group.

After everything that had happened in Mirula, they decided to stay one more night in the inn (which was the only inhabited building left in the city).

The owner had given them a free stay for the night, which everyone had wanted to politely refuse, but Yogiri had simply taken it, saying he was taught to never refuse free things, because free things are almost always good.

When the morning came, they got back in their carriage and set off to the sage's watchtower.

"Hey, Mr. Takatou, were ya serious when ya said ya held onto me cause my boobs were soft?"

"Yeah. I've always been more of a boobs guy than an ass guy, although–"

"That's plenty o' explanation, Mister."

Meanwhile, Echidna put her hand to her chest and muttered under her breath, "so that's what I'm lacking…"

There's your overpowered self insert OC. Guest from July 7th. On another note, The sign is a subtle joke. The inn is called "Kreed's Ceed & Feed", where ceed and feed both end in the sound "-eed", thus rhyming with the name of the owner, Kreed. The sign says that the shop was "Formerly Snuck's", implying that the two words beginning with "C" and "F" would have ended with "-uck", rhyming with "Snuck". So, when Snuck owned the shop, it would have been called "Snuck's Cuck and Fuck". As another thing of note, no matter how you pronounce the c, the joke still works. If pronounced like "keed", it would be "cuck and fuck", but if pronounced like "seed" it would be "suck and fuck".
