Note: This takes place before Tricked.
Around a campfire, J.D., Varie, and the Loud Kids were telling ghost stories.
"And the kids found the skeletons of dead rock stars in the closet!" Luna shouted.
But they weren't scared in the least.
"That's not scary at all," J.D. observed.
"No, it wasn't," Varie agreed.
"That's right," Lincoln added.
"You want a scary story?" asked J.D. "I've got one." Under his face, he held a flashlight. "This is the tale of Dark Stanley Carnage!"
As soon as he said that, thunder and lightning struck.
"I don't think I'm going to like this one," Laney admitted.
"The story takes place in Springfield Elementary School in Springfield, Oregon," J.D. explained. "Many years ago, Stanley Degroot worked as a chef in the cafeteria."
The scene turns into the story.
J.D. was narrating. "All the kids teased him because he never graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology."
"Stanley, Stanley, no degree," the kids cried out. "2 credits short at M.I.T!" They were mocking and laughing at him.
"It was really stupid and humiliating. But then one day he went HOMICIDAL!"
Stanley's eyes had turned bright red with pure evil.
"He picked up a cleaver and put a new entrée on the menu. He chased down the kids and cut their heads off! Then he served them in a delectable little dish called Kids Head Soup!"
Dark Stanley laughs evilly and tastes the soup. "Needs more girl." He laughs hysterically.
The scene reverts back to the campfire.
The kids and Varie screamed, and Mr. Grouse, who had heard the story, also screamed.
"That is a terrifying tale, J.D.," Mr. Grouse commented.
"I know Mr. Grouse," J.D. admitted.
"What happened to him?" Lori asked.
"They executed him for capital murder and buried him in an unmarked grave," J.D. explained. "But the next day, the whole cemetery was gone!"
Everyone except Varie screamed in fear and ran back into the house.
"That was a really scary story, J.D.," Varie remarked.
"I know Varie," J.D. replied. "I learned that tale from this book." He held up a book called Evil Urban Legends.
"Evil Urban Legends," Varie read out loud.
"Yep," J.D. confirmed. "Legend has it that his deeds were so vile that not even the Netherworld would accept him, and his evil ghost still haunts Springfield Elementary to this day."
"That was a great story, J.D.," Rita complimented.
"Thanks, Ms. Rita," J.D. replied.
Mr. Grouse walked over to him. "Good job telling that tale, J.D. I was there when it happened. It was 50 years ago today."
FLASHBACK.
"I was volunteering as a security guard at the school when I saw Stanley killing all those kids. He killed 75 people that day, and me and him got into a terrible fight. He chopped into my arm, and I knocked him out with a billy club. I had him arrested and sentenced to death. He vowed to get his revenge on me from beyond the grave. So I moved from Springfield to Royal Woods."
FLASHBACK ENDS.
"Whoa!" shouted J.D. "That's horrible, Mr. Grouse."
"Yep. Here's the scar." Mr. Grouse showed them a six-inch-long scar on his right arm.
"That's a dousy," Varie noted.
"Jumping Candy Corns!" shouted J.D. "That's a big scar. Mr. Grouse, I'm sorry to reopen old wounds like that. Pun intended."
"It's all right, J.D.," Mr. Grouse reassured him. "You didn't know."
"I'm glad you're okay, Mr. Grouse," Rita added.
"Thanks, Rita," Mr. Grouse replied with a smile.
He headed back home.
After that, everyone went to bed.
THE END.
