Hello once more my ever lovely peeps!
So this chapter will be spoiling the upcoming chapters in "The Stark Of Legend", namely coming AFTER the battle of New York. Namely how some certain groups of people will react to Xero's actions, in ways you might not have guessed and you'll find out who's gone bomb the peace summit and why.
The answer will NOT surprise you. As always i own nothing.
So please read, review and "What the fuc-BOOM"
Interlude: The Moon Cancer's Dilemma
"Welp, it's official. Senpai's situation has completely spiraled out of control. He knew they would attack, it was obvious but i didn't think they attack so quickly, so desperately to the point they would risk killing their own leader and comrades. Well, at least senpai's plan is working better then expected. Now, should i processed with my own plan or not?"
Hidden away from the world, even her own dear "Senpai" aka master, the Moon Cancer class Servant known as BB was biting her perfectly done nails. Oh what to do, what to do? The situation in the so called "Peace summit" has become a complete shitshow and things would get worse, even IF Senpai and the others had finished off HYDRA.
Senpai took a huge gamble in his plan, to route out what was left of HYDRA and hopefully the leader of HYDRA itself.
Even if he had her, BB, basically lead Pierce to the Avengers file on all their members so the man could send them to Remnant. Senpai knew what he planned to do, as did herself. Humans were predictable like that and with no allies left to call upon, HYDRA was trying to do what it did best:
Turn people against one another.
Alex-boy was hoping people's natural fears and paranoia would cause the newcomers to do something stupid out of fear of the unknown and a threat. That kingdom, Atlas if she recalled correctly, won't let the power the Avengers, more to the point her senpai and sister, be left alone. They had humble beginnings and through hard work, rose to the top of the world as the "Strongest Kingdom" but only due to the fact they were the only ones that had an actual army and the SDC.
But over the years, they grew complacent and arrogant.
Arrogance that, if possible, was WORSE then that pain in the ass golden king of heroes and the flamboyant emperor. At least those two had the power and skill to back up their arrogance. Many in Atlas didn't, as most were rich, entitled elitist. If not for their own entitlement, then it's the soldiers themselves, all having the same, smug entitlement.
Only they expect everyone to obey their orders without questions and the whole "No one is stronger then us" attitude to boot.
BB knew Atlas would not be an ally, not when their so called "Allies" have unique and deadly abilities and tech, that could surpass their own. They'll make a fuss over it, claiming the Avengers are a "Danger to humanity" and have to be subdued. But they won't be complete assholes and if they do threaten war, they'd demanded her senpai and Gudako handed over too them, as their the most "dangerous" of the Avengers.
Can't have someone, be they a person, village, group, country or even kingdom be more powerful then the "Most powerful kingdom in the world".
The Moon Cancer class Servant didn't even need to break through Atlas's pitiful firewalls to know that, Atlas was scrambling to try and find a way to get their hands on her senpai, the Arc Reactor and of course, the Iron man/Reaper suits. Naturally they wouldn't say that outright but more then likely, try to strong arm the US into handing them over.
Not that it would work of course.
Her senpai, her master was simply to valuable to the US and far to dangerous to piss him off on a whim. The battle of New York showed how dangerous her senpai was and unlike the Atlas military were suppose to fight the creatures of Grimm.
Not humans.
Despite being a trained army, they were suppose to fight the creatures of Grimm. BB knew they were also trained to fight humans and Faunus but training could only get you so far. As she had learned, experience makes all the difference in the world. Senpai has been fighting men, monsters and even the gods and demon god pillars themselves a couple of times.
Hell he took on the Beast class Servants of Tiamit, Pleasure Deva and even Mara.
The second one, nearly killed her, her "daughters" and senpai. Why he keep the Alter Ego version around was beyond her. Secretly, BB worried that woman would betray them again and really, truly hoped he knew what he was doing.
Oh well, if the bitch tried anything, they'll just kill her again. Plus they were a lot stronger then they were before and were much more experienced, so she had no doubt they'd win. Though she personally found it funny, how her senpai used Mara's Assassin version's own "Love arrow" on her, when she tried to control her senpai and it ended up backfiring on her.
Ironic.
Moving on.
The Grimm, for all intents and purposes, where nothing more then rabid animals that needed to be put down. True, some had unique abilities and could grow in size with natural armor but she and the rest of the Servants have faced, MUCH worse then them. Though for the most common Grimm, their attack patterns simply involved, defeat you're enemy with overwhelming numbers.
A tactic used a lot throughout history.
However, they were still nothing more then overgrown animals with the ability to sense bad emotions. Even with some of the more dangerous ones like those "Lancers" and "Apathy" were different. The Lancers were some kind of big bug type but were easily dispatched of. It was the Apathy that concerned her, the ability to drain a person's will.
That was something to be wary of.
However, one well placed sniper/archer, should be able to take care of those types, no problem. So for the most part, the Grimm were of little threat, save for they're numbers and some of the stronger ones. Not that it would matter, as some Servants, herself included, could take on any Grimm and her senpai was certainly no push over either.
With the Mazoku grimoire, his mother's legendary technique and Avalon her senpai was more then capable of taking on any Grimm that came his way. Even other humans or Faunus and quite possible a huntsman, if he played it right.
If not him, then his father, a man known to make weapons that make the Atomic bomb look like a weak pipe bomb. Atlas can howl, yell, bitch and scream all they want but the US won't turn on him and even if they follow through with their threat, probably a war, it would end quickly.
Senpai was a ruthless man after all and if he had to bring Atlas's oh so precious floating city and fleet crashing to the ground in flames...he would do it. He wouldn't like it but he would do what he had too. Besides, they still had Mantle after all and can move back down, with the "Common" folk.
Down in the dirt.
Humans like those in Atlas were easily predictable and BB would not allow them to take HER senpai. He was hers and even if he had taken many lovers, she did not care.
He was hers and that was that. No one, least of all some power hungry assholes from another world were allow to harm HER or bully her senpai.
That was her job!
But that wasn't the problem at the moment, as BB had a more pressing matter to attend too. Namely on what to do, should she follow through with her plan to show the world's leaders(And Remnant's) her senpai's past. Namely his own struggles as a master, his growth as a person into the man he is today and how dangerous it is to HAVE Servants or do nothing.
That include some of the more problematic Servants like Saber Alter, Kiyohime, Brynhildr, Kuro, Elizabeth Bathory, Jack The Ripper, Gorgon, etc. Being a master was not for the faint of heart and required someone that could handle the madness and keep themselves steady. Her senpai was one of the rare few that had a talent to handle so many Servants and make many love him too.
Herself included.
The bombing was sudden but not unexpected.
Senpai knew HYDRA wouldn't go down quietly and half ass expected them to try something like this, especially with how violate the situation became. The attack was sudden and everyone in the known, knew what HYDRA was trying to do:
Create chaos.
The world just suffered it's first alien invasion, normal people have been told the truth that magic, aliens and even the gods themselves like Thor and Loki aren't just a myth. To top it all off, there was an entirely new world open up to them, with people that had power beyond normal people and monsters that look like they came straight out of a nightmare.
Monsters made real.
This event, this singular once in a lifetime opportunity, was a powder keg of highly highly explosive of gun powder, just waiting to go off.
Everyone knew it and HYDRA would no doubt try to capitalize on it. If the leaders of the world were injured or even killed, the countries and nations would be in complete chaos. Massive power vacuum's would be opened up all over the world and fighting and riots would break out all over the world.
Just how HYDRA wanted the world.
Complete and utter chaos.
With the leaders dead, the governments in disarray, many scrambling to grab as much power as possible from the power vacuum and people panicking, HYDRA would be able to mold the world in their own vision. Something HYDRA could no longer do subtle or use project Insight for, as senpai made sure to sabotage the project so badly, it is no longer valuable.
Now they're going to try and brute force their way.
"Too bad senpai already foresaw this coming. Even the bounty that's been taken out on him, by all the criminal organizations he's screwed with. The fact they are all willing to pool their resources and more importantly, money together to create a bounty no one can refuse. Sigh...senpai knew this was coming but i don't think he foresaw the AMOUNT of money, the bounty has been priced."
$50 MILLION dollars for Xero's head. With the bounty being signed off as "Dead or dead", not even being labeled as "Dead or alive". Was dead or dead even a thing, the Servant wonder. It probably wasn't but given his actions for causing the bounty to be put up, people weren't even going to try to take him alive, just kill him off and be done with it.
Either way, her senpai's plan to send criminals running worked a little TOO well, seeing as the bounty was just posted a week ago and while the bounty was posted on the Dark Web, BB being an AI, was able to find it easily.
Still, it spoke well of Xero's reputation, seeing as he was able to piss off every single criminal organization in the world so badly, they'd band together to take him out.
Very impressive indeed!
BB would like to say that was all irrelevant to her but sadly, that wasn't the case. The thing about bounties is that, it isn't just criminals or bounty hunters could claim it:
Anyone can claim it.
Everyone, from the best of the best hitman's in the entire world, to ever too bit idiot that can use a pee-wee pistol will come after her senpai. That was of course, not including those that aren't aren't affiliated with with the criminal element also coming after him.
Some will do it, because they're either desperate for money, cocky in believing they can kill her beloved senpai and looking to make a name for themselves by killing a legend or just plain greedy idiots looking to make extra cash. The worst part is, they could be anyone.
Normal and common workers in the world, cops, government agents, the list just goes on. Plus, it wouldn't be just corrupt cops and agents, but ones that wanted in on the large amount of cash being offered to kill one man. That was of course, not including the religious zealots coming to kill him, for his "Heathen ways" aka his magic.
Endless in people who would want to claim that much money and insane religious people.
There was just no end to them!
That was of course, not including what the hell was on Remnant itself, let alone if THEY'RE bounty hunters would come for her senpai. Be it for money the new world had to offer or just to ensure he didn't start messing with THEIR criminal operations. Nip it in the bud, as humans say, right?
Too bad it was far too late.
But anyone with half a brain could see what was really going on. The criminals wanted her senpai dead but knew they couldn't do it alone and no one person, could kill him. So they were sending everyone else to distract her senpai, while they went about their business and built up their forces, becoming strong enough to take out her senpai.
No one is history has done so much damage to every criminal organization with such brutality and efficiency in such a short amount of time.
They have never once, faced an enemy like him and even though the criminals and gangs hate each other, they clearly hate her senpai even more. But breaking through the firewalls of SHEILD(Child's play to an advanced AI like herself), she learned Alex-boy was the one to pitch the idea to the big time crime boss's and with no other option, they agreed to create the bounty.
At the very least, give her senpai someone else to focus on.
He's taken on people, many believed couldn't be touched and after nearly three years, they'd finally had enough of her senpai doing everything he can, to fuck them over. Again, that was irrelevant, as she had to make a choice:
Wait for the situation to be resolved, then kidnap all the world's leaders with their subordinates and senpai's look alike that somehow has the same magical energy to Mikasa and show them her senpai's transformation into who he is today or do nothing?
Ah, choices, choices.
And done.
Bit of a short interlude but i think you all get the point and boy, Xero's actions are starting to catch up with him now. What's that old saying:
No good deed goes unpunished.
Well, Xero pulled off a Batman with him killing many crime lords, boss's, destroying their shipments and creating disorder from within their ranks and now, they've finally had enough of his shit. And yes, Atlas is NOT going to be a friend to Xero or the Avengers, simply because he could do better and they don't like to be shown up.
Will Ironwood be able to control his own forces or will it be doom to fail? And what is BB up to and how will she pull off her plan? Find out next chapters!
Devil out.
