No one knew Harrison Eileen Snape or even knew he was in Hogwarts in his 2nd year. Harry kept to himself most of the time. That's why he thought no one would know when someone spoke of another Snape.
That was until September 1st 1972. He was currently inside a compartment with Regulus going over study plans for the year.
"No, I do believe we should have Potions on our agenda first. Even though we are the top of the class that doesn't mean that we get to slack. We need to bring pride to our house," Regulus countered. This caused Harry to nod and write this down inside of his journal. "By the way Harrison, Congratulations on getting all Outstanding's on your overall report. I am sure Severus is proud of you,"
Harrison seemed to be lost in thought when he hopped up and gave a curt nod to Regulus. "I need to take a walk, my legs feel rather numb," Harrison said, waiting for a response. "Do try not to get lost like your first year Harrison," Regulus countered.
This caused Harrison to scoff and mutter, "It's not like you are any better," And with that he made his way out of the carriage and started walking down the hallways.
He had been walking for a good 10 minutes before he ran into his brother. Severus was 2 years older than Harrison. That ment they didn't get a lot of time to spend together during school. They shared a look before heading into an empty compartment. When the door was closed and the blinds were down Harrison rushed to hug his brother.
"Hello Brother," Harrison said, his voice muffled by Severus' robes. This caused Severus to chuckle. "Hello my little snake. How are you and Regulus doing?" Severus asked with a gentle tone. Harrison gave him one last squeeze before letting go to fix his robes.
"We are doing quite well. We have been discussing study plans for the year," Harrison replied. No one knows I exist apparently. They think you are an only child," Harrison then said after a moment of silence. They both looked at each other sharing a serious look before they both started laughing. "Can you believe them?" Severus said. Harrison just shook his head and then asked a sudden question. "How's Remus doing?" This caused a smirk to grow onto Severus' face.
"He's doing okay, He has been talking about a certain little snake who has been rather quiet. When he asks people about him no one knows who he is talking about. Quite odd isn't it?" This caused a blush to grow onto Harrison's face. With that, they bid each other goodbyes and went their separate ways.
On the other hand what Harrison didn't realize was that a certain Gryffindor bully that had decided that he got to bully Harrison in his first year was in his path.
"Where are you going now you little snake?" The boy asked, tone making it clear that Harrison was supposed to stop walking. "I'm heading back to my friend right now James. Why aren't you with your little boy band Stupid Lion?" Harrison shot back with a sneer.
This caused something to snap inside of James. James was now in front of Harrison pinning him to the wall of the train by his neck. "What makes you think you can speak to me like that you idiotic snake?!" James snarled. Harrison barely was able to contain a whimper as the hand gripped his throat.
"That's what I thought. Now, Why were you talking to Snape? James asked, something about his tone told Harrison he wasn't in the mood for lies. "He wanted to ask about how I was doing," He managed to whisper out before he struggled to breath.
Yet the whole time this ordeal was going on they didn't notice a certain gray haired teen watching this whole ideal going down. James eventually let go when Harrison started seeing spots. That is when the gray haired boy decided to intervene.
"Yo James! Where have you been?" He asked with a fake confused tone. "Me and Sirius have been looking for you!" James looked over at the boy and gave a smile.
"Don't worry Remus, I'm fine! I have been chatting with my friend here! I helped him out during his first year. I was just wondering how he was doing, right my little snake?" James asked Harrison. Shooting him glare. Harrsion just gave a curt nod while regaining his footing.
"Y-yeah I just got lost," Harrison added, stuttering slightly. "Well if you got lost, why don't you come and hang out with us?" Remus asked, tone full of excitement. Before either of them could respond Remus started pulling Harrison down to the hallway to where Sirius, Lily, Severus, and Peter were hanging out. James was following behind them when Harrison looked back at him and James stopped Harrison.
"Moony, We will meet you there. I need to have a quick word with him really quickly," James said. Remus smiled and walked into the Marauder compartment. James looked down at Harrison and spoke. "From now on you are going to be hanging out with us. You will not tell any of them anything besides from the fact that you are one of my closest friends. You will convince them that we are dating, Got it?" James said, with a stern tone. Harrison gave a slight whimper before nodding quickly.
Again, neither of them noticed Remus watching them. Then after that they walked in to see Sirius having a debate on which prank is best to use against Professor Dumbledore, Lily was reading, and Remus was leaning against Sirius.
"PRONGS! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" Sirius yelled before pulling James over to them. James just chuckled before smiling at Sirius. "I was checking up on my little snake," "What little snake-" Before Sirius could finish his sentence he saw Harrison. Soon enough everyone was looking at him in shock, mostly Severus. Now Harrison was blushing hard. James pulled him down to sit on his lap. "Why don't you introduce yourself, my little snake?" James asked, yet it sounded more like a command than anything.
Harrison just cleared his throat before speaking, "H-hi my name is H-Harrison Eileen S-snape. Nice to meet you," Harry managed to whisper out. Remus looked completely shocked. Severus looked at him with confusion. Sirius then spoke out, "You're the one Regulus speaks to our Mother about!" Sirius spoke these words with venom. Snape smiled at him, yet Harrison could see the confusion in his eyes.
"It took them this long to figure out that I had a brother. How amusing, Now my little snake. How did this happen?" Severus asked, motioning at how Harrison was sitting on James' lap. James gave a chuckle and before Harrison could speak James spoke, "This guy has had a crush on me since his sorting. I have been helping him out through his first year and things just sort of happened. Isn't that right my little snake?" Harrison just nodded along.
"James, do you mind if me and Sirius steal Harrison for a moment?" Remus asked. "I want to ask him some questions about his first year, McGonagall needs some information by the time we get to the castle." Before getting a response Remus dragged both Sirius and Harrison out of the cart moving to a different one. Before anyone said anything Remus cast a silencing charm. Then he looked at Harrison with concern filled eyes.
"Are you okay? Your throat looks a bit swollen," Remus spoke with a concerned tone as he started inspecting Harrison's throat. After a few moments of silence Remus spoke again.
"Don't worry Harrison, I saw what happened earlier. Everything." That is when Harrison let the tears fall down his face. Then Sirius spoke for the first time, "What is happening?" Remus looked at Harrison who gave him a nod.
"It seems like James has been lying to us. James hasn't been checking up on him, he's been lying to us. He's been abusing Harrison and I just walked in on James strangling him. Now he has the audacity to call him James' boyfriend." Remus finished and he then looked up. He saw angry Sirius. But, before Sirius could storm out Harrison spoke.
"Don't do anything please. He hasn't been as bad this year. Just don't say anything about it," Harrison pleaded. That is when Sirius brought Remus and Harrison into a hug.
"Anytime he hurts you come to us please?" Sirius asked. They only got a nod from Harrison as he sobbed into Sirius' robes. Soon enough Harrison fell asleep cuddled up hanging off of Sirius. Remus took down the charm and soon enough Peter, Lily, Severus, and James came in. James sat next to Sirius acting like nothing happened. Severus then smiled at Sirius.
"You must be a special mutt. He never lets anyone touch him. I have only ever seen him let 3 people touch him. Me, you, and one other person,"
Sirius gave a confused look and Severus seemed to give him a look that made him understand. That is when Remus realized something.
He was the third person.
