So as you can all image, with everyone being so focused on The Dead War, Remnant, Huntsman and Grimm in general, you've got to be wondering just WHAT does that mean for Loki and more importantly our main man, Thanos.
Going to be a short chapter this time around, as Xero makes a move to figure out just WHO sent Loki and the army to his home. Along with getting a new ally and family member, one you all should know very well. But getting back on topic, what will Xero do about Thanos and how is he going to convince everyone he is not only real but just how dangerous he really is?

Interlude 3: The Puppeteer Revealed! His Name is Thanos
"Ko-Rel, are you certain that this is him?"
"I'm afraid so Xero. There is no doubt about it, the Chitauri were a major part of his cannon fodder and by now, everyone in the galaxy knows Terra has beaten them back. While that it on itself isn't too bad, as it's proven you're world is not one to be taken lightly, it's WHO's army, you beat back that is cause for concern."
"And this bastard, you called him 'The Other' right?"
"Indeed. He works for a madman known as 'The Mad Titan' Thanos. You're world isn't the first world to come under attack by the madman but yours is the first world to fight them off and win but don't think that means something. Thanos and his followers had raided countless worlds, slaughtering half the population as he did so, taking whatever he fancied all in the name of 'saving the galaxy'. The Chitauri, for all intents and purposes, are nothing more then cannon fodder. His main force will be MUCH stronger then the Chitauri and a whole lot more ferocious then they ever were. Whether you intended to or not, you've defined a very powerful being and made one powerful enemy in the process of saving you're world. Thanos won't take that lightly."
"What else is new?"
Xero thought, a bitter smile on his face at Ko-Rel's words.
Ya know, many people would assume, when Xero left with the children and three adult Servants, one looking like she was ready to jump his bones, he'd be doing just that. But...he wasn't.
The moment he walked through the portal, he went to the summoning room, needing to summon his 'wife's' daughter, Baobhan Sith.
He did this because he knew Morgan was going to get more and more annoyed, so he decide to try and cool her growing anger at him for keeping secrets from her, so he summoned Sith, to complete their little family. He already got the rest of the Fairy Knights, might as well complete the set, so to speak. Much like Morgan and Barghest, she retrained the memories she had of him during his time spent in the her Lostbelt, hence why she calls him "Father".
A fact that made him sigh, Mordred was going to throw a fit and will no doubt get into a sibling rivalry be born in the flames of white hot jealousy and possessiveness. That was just how his luck ran with these types of things.
Goddess damnit!
Like Mordred, Baobhan Sith's early life had been nothing short of hell and it only got better when she was adopted by Morgan herself and made into a Fairy Knight. But that ultimately wasn't what was important.
Looking at his screen, being emitted from his Focus, Xero was talking to one of the allies he made during the time of the "Saber Wars" and a member of the Nova Crops, Ko-Rel.
Ko-Rel is a Kree woman, with the same blue skin and white hair as the rest of her race.
Xero had saved the Kree woman, when she was standard on a remote world, after being betrayed by one of her former partner at the time. He helped exposed her former partner, not only saving Ko-Rel but helping her rise through the ranks to her current one, Nova Centurion. Something his two new students, Xenovia and Irina had learned, as they had slipped away earlier, to find him, so they could preform the Master-Apprentice bond.
With the new world and the threat they pose, the three decide it would best for him to mark them as his apprentices, so they could bear his mark and get to them in an instant, should something happen to them. Strong as they were, it was always a good idea to have a contingency plan with a back up plan.
...Along with a back up, back up plan.
One can never be too careful after all.
Rubbing his head, Xero looked at Ko-Rel's apologetic face,"I'm sorry Xero, i know this isn't something you wanted to hear but-"
"Now, you did as i asked, thank you. Bloody hell, i figure Loki had a powerful backer but damn, didn't see this coming. Still, he would have come to Earth sooner or later if what you've told me is true, so i guess it doesn't matter."
Ko-Rel said nothing for a minute, looking at Xero closely, as she finally said slowly,"By the way, did you get 'IT'?"
Reaching into his pocket dimension and pulled out a stainless, steel gray orb in his hand. Something that caught his new Servant and Apprentice's eyes.
"Oh, what's that?"
Irina looked at it inquisitively, as Xero looked at her,"THIS, Irina is nothing more then a container. What's inside however, is one of the greatest power in the universe, one that can surpass even magecraft itself but only a few can use it, without being completely destroyed as a result of just touching it. This my dear is one of the Six Infinity Stones, though to which one, i do not know but if i had to guess, this one is the Power Stone. It would make sense, as Thanos has one of the Kree people looking for it."
"Ronan the Accuser. He is a radical Kree warlord from the Kree-Skrull War and now, turned agent of Thanos. Strong as he is ruthless, Ronan will not stop until he gets that Orb and delivers it to Thanos, someone everyone fears Irina. Nobody, not even the Nove Crops wants to pick a fight with Thanos, as he has proven to be one of the stronger beings in the universe, so taking that Orb WILL put you on his raider, if you aren't already on it with you defeating Loki and the Chitauri. If nothing else, keeping that Stone so close is a bad idea."
"I know Ko-Rel, keeping more then one Infinity in the same place is a bad idea but letting Thanos have it, is even worse. At least this way, it has a powerful defender and we can use it's power to even the playing field against Thanos."
Xero said simply, as he stuffed it back into his pocket dimension, looking at the kree woman,"Ko-Rel, i know i'm asking a lot here again but i need you to tell everyone else this, while some my believe me, not everyone will. Please, i need you're help, as we're facing our own problems at the moment and having physical proof that alien life not only exists, but of the greater threat to not just my life but all life in the galaxy itself. Maybe then, this will force everyone to realize that we can't do this alone and get them to put their petty differences aside, for the sake of protecting our world from the greater threat. Please Ko-Rel, i need you're help on this."
Even as he pleaded with her for help, Ko-Rel merely smiled,"You don't need to plead with me, old friend. You'll have my help and hopefully, you're people will realize just what kind of threat Thanos represents."
Xero let out a sigh of relief at Ko-Rel's answer.
"Thank you."
Done and like i said, really short, just kinda of revealing who Thanos is and what his role was in the invasion of New York. So the real questions remains is this:
Will the people of both, Remnant and Earth be able to get this sticks out of theirs asses, come together to create a better world and defend it from the likes of both, Thanos and Salem or will they keep their heads buried in the sand?
And what of the Guardians?
How will they be formed?
WILL they be created with no battle on Xander and will Xero and Co. met them earlier then intended?
