Sheldon Swifties LIX: "The X-Advisors…"
Summary: Like my Immortal Beloved bits in my Buffyverse stories, these are fragments and short bits, some longer…Just to fiddle with ideas, possibly forming longer tales later.

Part XXX…
Kripke's office…
"So you actually reminded Barry of this meeting just to get me away from Susan Stein?" Sheldon eyed Amy from his chair in front of Barry's desk.
Amy, somewhat sheepish expression from her seat…
"And you…? Kripke? Agreed to help?" he turned to Kripke, who gave expansive wave of hands.
"Oh…Amy promised to fix you up with Susan…" Sheldon nodded.
"Now rweally, Cooper. I am a rwomatic and naturwally was rweady to do all I could for love. And a healthy degrwee of sex." Beam.
"Thank you, Barry." Amy offered. Quick nod to his look…
But can't promise she won't just kick you to the curb…
"Anytime. Which are the hourws you may offerw our wisiting physicist of porwn." Slight bow. "But, as long as we are herwe, Cooper…"
"Fine…Just let me hug my fiancée." Sheldon, turning to smile at a pleased Amy.
"I insist…And am happy to memorwize the occasion with photos and videos." Kripke, eagerly pulling phone.
Make sure you cover as much of me as possible, Amy hissed to Sheldon as he came to her.
"Say, what the…?" Kripke, holding up mug of hot coffee, the mug dissolving as the coffee remained fixed in place.
…..
"She's gonna rewrite time? Time, I mean? Her time with Sheldon? Amy?" Penny gasped. "That's not possible…I mean Sheldon can't do it so…"
"I fear so…" Stein nodded. "And brilliant as Sheldon undoubtedly is, his is not the last word in Physics. And this isn't his area of concentration. But to remove Amy as a rival she either has to prevent…Her…Or prevent her from ever meeting Sheldon."
"But if she does that, either of them…?" Penny blinked.
"The consequences on so many lives are incalculable…More even then just our world…The very fate of all the universes could be affected."
"And Leonard and I…Without Sheldon, without Amy…" she stared. "And you say even the start is dangerous…?"
"The energy required to make a large enough wormhole bridge to accomplish what Susan hopes will involve massive destruction…Even perhaps…Total." Stein noted.
Penny, blinking at his stare…Then ripping phone from pocket, dialing…Come on, come on. Stupid, stupid bastard…Leonard, damn you! She threw phone down on sofa. "It's going to voicemail. He turned his phone off…Damn him!"
Wait…
"But Dr. Francis…" she eyed Stein. "He'd be killed too. He doesn't strike me as the suicidal type." Narrow stare as she took up phone again, looking for Amy's number and pressing.
"Xavier's become very good at deception but I believe he truly no longer cares so long as I am punished." Stein, calmly.
Amy…Amy…Amy…Goddamn you, bestie, answer!
"She's not picking up either…" Penny shook head. "Lets take my car…I'll try Howard and Raj but lets go. Now, doctor! I swear I'll drag you down the stairs if I have to…"
"Of course…" Stein nodded, moving to the door. "It maybe the electromagnetic field is blocking your signal…Though even Xavier's test experiment might do that, in the local area. If we hurry…"
"911?! Listen…" Penny told her phone. "There's a bomb at Cal Tech, the Experimental Physics lab, the laser array facility. It'll go off in ten minutes or less if you don't stop it." She hung up.
"All right, move!" she ordered.
…
"I can't reach Howard or Raj, either." Penny sighed as she drove.
Damn, I thought it was illegal to have a phone in hand while driving? Plus, I'm speeding…Where's the damn cops to come roaring after me, ready to shoot…In this case a certain blonde physicist ex-porn star?
"Dear, we'll save no one if we crash." Stein noted, indicating the speedometer. Pulling out what looked like a cross between a cell phone and a walkie-talkie. "I'll try to block the field…But…"
"I'm only doing…Oh, 100…I think this damned thing should do 120." She stepped on gas.
And again, where the hell's the damned cops? I may need back-up…
"Take my phone, keep redialing…" she handed the phone over. "Just press the button as you can!"
"Susan's crazy for real, isn't she? She wasn't Margaret's daughter was she? The other one, your wife, she really was her mother…" she glanced at Stein.
"My dear…" Stein indicated the road they were racing down…As he struggled with his own device.
"I'm from Nebraska, doc… But the damned Pasadena PD is gonna hear from me if we live." She pulled to an abrupt stop as a light turned red and a determined elderly woman began crossing, eyeing her coolly.
"Be glad I know they'd put me away from my Leonard even if I save the world running you down, you mf-ing old…" Penny hissed. "Ok, go!" she stepped on gas. "Can you stop it?!"
"I can tap the matrix but there's not enough power…"
"But you had her…Margaret's…Eggs and all? Or was that all hooey?" she asked. There, Cal Tech
"We did. And we tried but Susan's mother had a miscarriage just four weeks after implantation, Penny. I was already uncertain as to the safety of the fetus and I believed her claim it was accidental, due to problems with the implanted fetus."
"And you and she…?" Penny stared.
Stein sighed… "I did care for Susan's true mother, as I've said. She claimed to want to help. And I didn't want Margaret to die believing we'd failed…That she'd left nothing behind. And I had her tissue samples to provide proof. And then, once I understood my poor wife's problems were far greater than I'd realized, I couldn't let Susan, who seemed relatively unaffected, believe she was doomed to that fate by her genetics. For her sake as well, I maintained the lie. I thought, if I could make Xavier believe it and accept it was Margaret's wish to leave something for him…Both these people I loved would benefit. I hadn't realized how much Xavier would see it as a betrayal…Or how much I'd love Susan."
"Then Susan's insane…Like her mother?"
"No, not insane…That term is too easy to bandy about. But she is emotionally volatile and easily obsessed as her mother was…"
"She wants to rewrite Time to get Sheldon Cooper, no matter what the consequences to the world? Sounds pretty insane to me." Penny glared.
"If it were Leonard…And you'd lost him?" Stein eyed her.
"That's why I believe this crazy nonsense, doctor." Penny returned the stare.
"My goodness, I seem to be getting through to Mr. Wolowitz's number…" Stein noted. "Mr. Wolowitz?"
"Gimmee!" Penny commanded, reaching for phone… "HOWARD! SHUT IT DOWN! GET LEONARD OUT OF THERE! NOW!" she cried to the phone.
"We're out of time. Listen, Penny…" Stein began…
…
"Penny, yo? So wha...?"
"Oh, is she still worrying?" Leonard sighed. "Give me the phone, will ya Howard?" Howard tossing gently…
"Hey, Penny…"
Susan looking over…Just a bit apprehensive.
Not now, not…Now…
"GET OUT!" Penny's scream, audible, to Howard near the door and everyone in the room.
"Penny? Wha..." he tried.
"Leonard? Anything wrong?" Dr. Francis looked over to him...
"If you love me!" Penny's desperate cry...
"Penny...?" He tried.
"What's the matter?" Susan, turning to him but staying near Dr. Francis. Leonard making apologetic wave of hand as he stepped out of the lab.
"Tell that bitch Stein...!" Penny cried.
"Doctor?" Howard stared at Francis by the controls. Then to the Dr. Francis on the other side of the control panel...
"I'm sorry Mr. Wolowitz, I expected more time to get you out of the lab." The original Francis sighed. "Hurry, go, all of you, the wormhole is far too unstable!"
"Go, all of you!" The new Francis agreed.
"Doctor?" Leonard stared from the door. Penny's cries audible from his open phone...
"Truly sorry Leonard but a stable secondary anchor point was necessary." The new Francis noted.
"Critical." Susan agreed, smiling... "You'd better listen fellas...and go, now. You might make it yet. Though frankly, I've no idea how much will be destroyed…"
"What have you done?" Raj stared.
"I'm the alternate to result…" New Francis explained. "Linked backed to the microworm holes Leonard and my counterpart just opened."
"But that's insane ..." Howard cried. "The power..."
"There's no time and the explanation will be forgotten as soon as he could state it..." two Susans noted. "The whole area is destabilizing, we can't exist together without destroying the place…Run while you can, fellas!"
"Leonard, get out! Go on, Howard…Try for Bernadette's sake! Raj, go!" Penny cried, suddenly in the room.
"Leonard, get out!" Penny's voice on his phone, to his stunned amazement.
"What?!" the Susans stared. One grabbed by the Penny in the room… "Let me go!"
"Penny?" Leonard stared.
"They're all quantum copies…" Raj stared, realizing. "The wormhole's been exponentially expanded, it's filling this whole space…The whole Universe if you don't stop it!" he turned to the Francises.
"It's too late now, Stein's tapped into the field matrix to send her. It can't be controlled." One eyed Penny Alternate. "Not that we would…"
"I won't give up now!" both Susans cried. "You go back!" one insisted to Penny Alternate.
"Your father would have come but he sent me instead…" Penny, glaring.
"Damn him, damn you!" original Susan, held by Penny Alternate, echoed by Susan's twin…
"You'll kill Sheldon too if you don't stop now!" Penny Alternate insisted.
"Leonard…Is she there?!" Penny's voice on his phone.
"Uh…Yeah…I think so." he noted.
"Then why are you?! Go!"
"It's too late, but I'll save him!" the free Susan noted, moving to a spot near the center of the room which now glowed white…
"Wait for me!" the Alternate Francis hurried over, Alternate Susan eyeing him coldly. "Only one ticket and one destination for this ride, Xavier!"
"No! NO! Stop her!" Original Francis cried to his twin.
Alternate Penny leaping to crash into Alternate Susan, Alternate Xavier hurrying to leap…All three disappearing as the world exploded…
