Chapter 4
"RASENGAN!"
Naruto plunges his Rasengan into Gamer M's side, the swirling orb burrows deep and tears a hole on the bodysuit while causing sparks to fly out in the result of damage.
"AH!" exclaimed Gamer M being engulfed in sparks and small explosions before dropping on his knees. The HP gauge on his chest HUD is low and glowing red, Gamer M is in trouble and now at Darkborne's mercy.
Naruto placed the Uchiha Katana by Gamer M's neck, causing the Gamer to exclaim in shock while looking up through his black visor.
"It's over, M" said Naruto "You lose."
Gamer M chuckles while looking away.
"I don't think so" said Gamer M as he managed to roll away from the blade, scraping on his helmet so he can get some distance. Even though he's in pain, he is still willing to fight with he starts to pull out something from his side holster. It resembles a cartridge for 90s game consoles with a clear input which flashes with he pressed a side button with his thumb.
GASHAT!
DARKBORNE!
Darkborne? Thought Naruto as he heard the cartridge say his Gamer name.
"You may win this round…but this round is mine." Said Gamer M "I will clear this with no continues. Dai Dai Dai Henshin!"
After inserting the cartridge on his belt and toggling the pink buckle, his outfit starts to transform, the electric pink bodysuit with black accents starts to invert in black with dark pink accents, next he starts to don a leather trench coat and a tricorn hat while his iron face guard is covered with a dark grey scarf with a tattered end over his left shoulder. The HUD on his chest place also changes, resembling the HUD belonging to Darkborne's but only showing the HP, Stamina and square icon with an image of a red syringe and a number 5 on the side.
His belt then said "Gacchan! Level Up! Mighty Action X! Darkborne Darkness Darkness Yami's Champion Darkborne!"
His weapon also changes, now instead of a hammer, it now resembles the Saw Cleaver like Darkborne's. And to finalise the transformation, the cartoon style eyes are now narrow, pupil-less and red. He rummages into his pocket and pulls out a syringe full of blood and inject himself with it. The injection causes his body to radiate in a blood red aura while the HP guard on his chest HUD replenishes. And the icon with the red syringe shows the number 5 now decreases to 4.

Naruto was startled by Gamer M's new form, they say imitation is a form of flattery but to see this is debatable. Should Naruto be flattered or insulted by his opponent's new gear, he then looks at the cartridges on Gamer M's belt, could they be the source of his power?
I don't wanna know if the truth is disappointing.
I don't wanna know ignorance is bliss.
Why? Why? Why? Why? Before I knew it, I came too far
Naruto is about to test that theory as he sheathed his Uchiha Katana and draws out his Saw Cleaver. Gamer M mimics the style of positions that Darkborne poses for battle, which is weird for the Overlord. Gamer M remains silent, even weirder now. Both circles around the cemetery while waiting for either to make the first move.
I can't stop this premonition of

(Turn it on)
After a minute of silence, both then charge in for battle, both of their saw cleavers clash together and tangles in each other's serrated teeth. Sparks fly out from their blades as they struggle to fight for dominance. Gamer M has gotten a power boost from this transformation, but strength alone will not help him win against the Overlord as Naruto has cunning too. There are still clones active around the cemetery and they all charge in at Gamer M. Gamer M noticed this and broke off his clash with Naruto and starts his second round against the clones.
Extreme!

The clones all come at him, but now Gamer M is more ready as he swings his Saw cleaver at them, one by one he dispels the clones into smoke while blocking the fireballs with his weapon, even the Gudodamas are deflected while leaving heavy impacts which could stagger anyone, but Gamer M doesn't stagger for his feet are heavily on the ground and keeping his balance. He then crouches low and leaps up in the air, he hinges his saw cleaver and tosses it, at the clones in the distance. He hits one and starts to swing and twirl it around thanks to the binding woven around the handle which is also tied around his wrist. He continues to twirl the cleaver again and again until the nuisance shadow clone in the distance is dispelled. He then reels the cleaver back into his hand and returns to the ground.

Gamer M said nothing and continues to fight the clones, Naruto then charges at Gamer with another Rasengan in hand. Naruto was about to plunge it, but it struck the cleaver instead, Gamer M is aware of that attack and used his own weapon as a shield to stop the jutsu, Naruto frowned at this and jumped back so he can hide among the clones.
Didn't wanna know ...the more I dream
Didn't wanna know ...why I keep getting hurt
Why? Why? Why? Why? Before I knew it, no one's around
But the clones' number is now low so Naruto will not be able to stay and strike Gamer M with another Rasengan.
God gives only one trial

Come on, think…wait thought Naruto as he then thought of a plan against Gamer M.

(Turn it on!)
Naruto puts away his Saw Cleaver and starts to channel up his Blue Phazon, causing the ground to freeze up and thicken the mist. Then the mist starts to black, for Naruto has cast the Dark Haze Jutsu which mirrors Kiri's Hidden Mist Jutsu. Gamer M looks around as the area is now getting dark by the Dark Haze. Suddenly faint red glows now appear through this dark mist. Naruto remembered that he's got Phazon in his system, blue void phazon which he used to thicken the mist so he can use his Dark Haze Jutsu, and red Chaos Phazon, which his hands are now caked in and forming a pair of beastly claws while letting it shroud him to perform Phazon Hyper Mode.

Gamer M turns to this and silently stares at his pumped up opponent.

"It's time to end this, Gamer M!" said Naruto as the phazon flows all around his body, the aura around him starts to take form of his beast form which he used back fighting against Amazon Omega, but this time it acts like a glowing red silhouette of that form while Naruto crouches on all fours like a beast before charging like a beast bearing his claws.
From zero to one, and from one to the edge of the universe...

Gamer M gets ready for Naruto to approach him, he unhinges his Saw Cleaver open and holds with both hands. This will be their final clash in their fight, but which will reach first?

As Naruto reached his enemy, his Chaos Claws reach out to strike Gamer M, but Gamer M swings his weapon the same moment Naruto strikes first.

The impact of their attacks caused a burst of energy to erupt, skyrocketing into the night sky like a volcano. The towering blast can be seen from the rooftops and open streets of New Yharnem.

Clinic
It can be seen though the upper windows of a local clinic, two women with pink hair, one short and the other long, noticed this and gaze. The girl with the short bubble-gum pink hair has a look of concern as she sees the towering burst of energy in the distance. The girl with the long creamy pink hair saw that look of concern and smiles while reassuring the girl by placing her hand on her shoulder.
"He'll be fine, if he loses he loses."
"It's not him losing that worries me, I just hope he doesn't over do it." said the short pink haired lady. The clinic rooms are dim so only candle burning on the sconces.
"He'll be fine, Yami-sama did provide him with some new Gashats to help him" said the girl with the cream pink hair. "He's not the inexperienced Rider you know."
"Hai, but I still worry for him"
The cream haired girl smiled while turning to the shelves and took some vials.
"Come, it's time for Haruka-kun to take his medicine, bring me my syringe will ya?"
"Hai, sensei" said the girl as she picks up a HUGE syringe and follows the cream haired girl.
Back in the Cemetery
Naruto and Gamer M are now standing far away from each other and their back both turned away, their heads lowered while the pant tirelessly after their clash and they wait for the aftermath. Suddenly sparks light up across Gamer M's form and collapses onto the mist covered ground.
Game Over
Gamer falls unconscious and his form vanishes within the mist, Naruto doesn't turn to see his opponent's true face, for he is struggling to stay on his feet while sporting a diagonal gash on his chest, the mithril chain-mail took most of the damage from the saw cleaver to make the attack terminal.
"Kuso…that was…close one" said Naruto while he slowly grabs his Blood Estus Flask and struggles to drink from due to the pain he's in. His hand starts to shake while trying to drink, but all it does is spill the contents and not enter his mouth. "Damn it!"
Naruto's hold on the flask loosens and he accidently drops the flask, spilling more of the contents on the floor. Naruto reaches down but bending down only causes more pain and more blood to seep from his wound.
"Yami dammit all" said Naruto as he's starting to feel lightheaded and also collapse on the ground.
"NARUTO-KUN!" exclaimed Jūbi the moment Naruto fell, desperate to for him to stay alive and now lose, she channels her chakra all around him and starts healing him herself, but the process is slow, and she isn't sure if Naruto be fine. Suddenly the warm glow of the morning sun beams out and starts coating the dark town with its warm glow.

Bloodmoon effect:
Jūbi suddenly blushes wildly while she reads the description of the Blood Moon effect, for what it can do to Naruto once that moon turns crimson and shine it's unholy red light on him.
He is gonna be in for a surprise when that moon bleeds redthought Jūbi And I've got an idea that Yami will be involved.
Deciding to keep this between her, Jūbi continues to channel her chakra to resume healing Naruto, but as she keeps on healing her vessel the sound of footprints echo in the still misty cemetery. The tall silhouette approaches the downed but not yet out Overlord, the glowing dawn lights up the upper parts of the cemetery to reveal the face of Father Gascoigne, he regained conscious shortly after and sensed the dark presence of Jūbi's chakra. He looks down at Naruto and kneels to check up on him, he noticed the spilled contents by the now empty Blood Estus Flash and then at the diagonal gash on Naruto's chest.
"Well done on surviving the hunt, young Lord" Father Gascoigne said in a low quiet tone while pulling out a red syringe. "It seems the beast within you is trying to keep you alive while the event remains active, and for you to find me along the way. Here, considers this a reward for making it this far, some Yharnem Blood to heal your wounds."
Father Gascoigne injects the vial of blood into Naruto, this causes a blood red aura to shroud the Overlord and quickly close up the gaping wound on his chest. Jūbi was surprised by this but is happy that the Father has helped him. Father then turns to where Gamer M is lying unconscious on the misty ground.
"He was a fool to challenge the Overlord, but I must admit he has strength to nearly equal his." Said Father Gascoigne while he starts to make a call on his message box.
Dialling: Head Remnant
Cathedral: Bell Tower
The Head Remnant himself has barricaded himself on top of the cathedral's bell tower, for he has to keep guard of a large crystal hovering beneath one of the brass bells in the room. The crystal emits an energy source which forms a barrier covering the entire area of Cathedral Ward, trapping the invasive force loyal to the Demon King. Separated from his fellow Remnants who are still battling outside the cathedral, Iruka is still struggling to keep his post when the acolytes are trying to break into the bell tower and destroy the crystal.
Suddenly a message box appears in front of him.
Calling: Father Gascoigne
Hope has brightened his face as he's now receiving a call from Father Gascoigne, but will it be good news from. He answered the call while ignoring the banging on the doors by those persistent acolytes.
"Father, I hope you bring some good news".
Indeed, Yami's champion is at the cemetery, but he had some to deal with an obstacle in the shape of Kamen Rider Ex-aid
Iruka sighs at this with a sweat drop on his temple.
"Of course, he'd challenge Naruto given the opportunity, even at the worst of times."
Can you blame him, he is Yami's Right Hand and wanted to see if Darkborne deserves to be the Champion and his Equal.
"Tell me Naruto's alright?"
"Physically he'll be fine since I gave him a blood vial to help the Bijū within him heal his wounds. But he won't be up for a while, good news is that the streets will be clear now the Night of the Hunt event is over.
"Take him to Compa's Clinic, they'll put him in full recovery, I'll try and hold on against those bastards as much as I can".

And to you also, Father" said Iruka before he hangs up and turns to the door, the acolytes are still trying to break in, but they cannot as it is heavily barricaded with loose bells, barrels and crates. The barricade may be shifting over time, but they're still holding on.
But the bright side is that Iruka is relieved that Naruto is almost there, he looks over at the window and gazes at the rising sun.
"Praise Yami, you made it" said Iruka as he looked over at Central Yharnem, the streets are now calm and empty. The event is over but there is still time to fix this issue in Cathedral Ward, those partaking the event will probably go home and sleep throughout the day, and who can blame them after that wild and exciting night. Even he will do the same if he partakes the Night of the Hunt.
All Iruka now must do is wait, and if any of the acolytes get through, he will be ready for them along with his sword.
RUMBLE
"What the…" Iruka said when suddenly something crashed through the roof of the tower, a creature made of stone and bronze is trying to get inside the tower to attack Iruka. A gargoyle, which were ornaments of the cathedral but were reanimated by the acolytes to be used as soldiers against the trapped Remnants of Ombré and the Dark Clerics within Cathedral Ward. "Damn it, I like you better when you're not alive!"
The Gargoyle starts snapping at Iruka, trying to eat him or try to since it is literally made of stone.
"Get back you fiends!" said Iruka as he draws out his sword and starts to swing at it, but what can a sword do against stone?
Central Yharnem: Compa's Clinic
Father Gascoigne brought the unconscious Naruto and Gamer M or Ex-Aid whom he called earlier to the clinic back in Central Yharnem. Getting there on foot will waste time for the Dark Cleric while carrying 2 unconscious bodies on his own, fortunately the town has local waypoints which are used for emergencies, and using one is very appropriate one.
Praise Yami for fast travel thought Father Gascoigne with both Naruto and Ex-aid on his shoulders. He may not look much but he is strong and carrying two bodies is no problem for him.
He knocks on the door and waits for it to open, after waiting for a few minutes he knocks again but louder.
"Sorry but we're now open until 10, come back later."
"Compa, it's me!" exclaimed Father Gascoigne "Naruto and Hojo need medical assistance!"
"Naruto and Hojo!?"
The sound of rushed footsteps suggest that running is heard from inside the clinic, and with no time wasted the door opens. Compa, the Gamer which Naruto met back in the Fire Temple is revealed behind open doors. And with her are two more girls. One with long magenta hair, red framed glasses and about Naruto's age. And a young woman with shoulder length bubblegum pink hair, wearing a cute dress and blouse consisting with bright colours such as yellow, orange, pink and lime green. On her head is a hairclip shaped like a small yellow disk with a green music note.
When the 3 pink haired girls saw Naruto and Ex-aid, they were in shock to see them unconscious over Father Gascoigne's shoulders.
"Karin, Poppy, help Father Gascoigne bring them in, stat!"
"Hai" said the other girls, Karin who is known as Compa's adopted daughter after being saved from Orochimaru, and Poppy Pipopapo, an…ally of Kamen Rider Ex-aids. Karin help being Naruto in while Poppy brings in the unconscious Ex-aid in.
With haste, they placed the 2 gamers on free beds, each are checking up on them to see while Father Gascoigne leans on a wall and waits, even though he still winces in pain from his fight against Ex-aid earlier on.
"What happened?" said Compa.
Ex-aid being a fool as always, too eager in fighting Darkborne to test his mettle" said Father Gascoigne while trying not to wince in pain, for he know what Compa is like when you show any signs of ailments or pain. But Compa is no fool and frowns at the father and crossing her arms.
"Don't tell me you over did it again, Gascoigne" said Compa, causing Father Gascoigne to sweat-drop, even though he is blind he can sense the disappointment from the Healer Gamer.
"Well…er I, FINE I wanted to partake in the events, Happy!"
"No, not when you have a wife and daughter at home worried sick about you." said Compa with a frown on her face.
Father Gascoigne sweat-drops more and sighs in defeat.
"Sorry, if won't happen again" said Father Gascoigne
"Good, now get to bed and rest, I'll inform your family later once I'm done treating our patients." Said Compa "By the looks of it, you need a good night sleep."
"But I need to take Darkborne to Cathedral Ward" said Father Gascoigne
"No buts, get to bed mister!" said Compa while pointing to one of the beds.
Father Gascoigne sighed in defeat again and slouches to the beds and drops in.
"Now then, Karin, you will help me treat Naruto-kun's wounds while Poppy treat Emu-kun's." said Compa
"Hai" said Karin as she starts to help her mother treat Naruto's wounds, first by removing his coat and chain-mail. The wound has almost healed, but it'll take some careful treatment to get it healed properly.
Ex-aid's wounds aren't as serious, but it still worries Poppy as she starts cleaning and dressing the wounds. She looks at the unconscious face of Ex-aid and sighs.
"Baka, you have to challenge the Overlord, did you" said Poppy before kissing Ex-aid's cheek. "Pray Yami you'll never do it again."
Overlord's Dream
Naruto is standing in the middle of a misty garden outside the mansion within the Overlord's dream. He looks around for he hasn't been here for a while.
"Welcome back, young master."
Naruto turns to be greeted by the maid who curtsied to him, Naruto looks around to see the other resident of this dream.
"Where's the old man?" said Naruto
"I'm afraid he's not available at the moment, for something has disrupted his presence." Said the maid. "But I am here to be of service, my lord."

Demon's Scar
Description: A blade made of entirely out of flames. This chaotic thing, the last flame kindled by a demon prince, is shaped like the claw marks of a demon. It is both a fiery bladed weapon, and pyromaniac flame.
Added Skill: Spin Slash – Spin to stoke a fierce chaos flame and use momentum to transition into a spinning strong attack, creating an evanescent lava chamber.
Saw Cleaver
Description: One of the trick weapons of the workshop, commonly used in the hunting business. This saw, effective at drawing the blood of beasts, transforms into a long cleaver that makes use of centrifugal force. The saw, with its set of blood-letting teeth, has become a symbol of the hunt, and only grows in effectiveness the more grotesquely transformed the beast.
• Note: Only used in Darkborne Form
Censor Blade
Description: A weapon used by one of the Censored Justice's elite knights. This one was owned by Fugaku Uchiha before his timely defeat against the Gamer named Darkborne.
• Bonus Perk: Censorship: Temporally disables skills and abilities.
Astor's Spear
Description: One of the curses that festered within the belly of the Great wood, and a terrible weapon favoured by Earl Astor the Impaler.
• Poisoned Blade: The Spear is enwreathed in rotten, heavily poisoned meat. Defeating foes will restore HP
• Shield Splitter: Take a large step forward and make a single focused thrust to puncture enemy shields and inflict damage.

Description: The sword of Yami in her personal form and can only be wielded by the champion of Yami from Planeptune.
