『 "Now Landing in Haneda Airport near Tokyo. We Are Now Landing in..." 』
"Sasuke." A woman's voice sounded as she nudged the man. "Sasuke, wake up. We're here."
"Hm?" The male's eyes opened hazily. He had been away on a business trip in Hokkaido for the past three days. With the chatter of civilians on the plane getting louder, Sasuke bemoaned lowly. "Already?" His head lazily turned to face the pink haired woman beside him.
"Yes. And your uncle just called me. You'll only have an hour or so before you need to report back to the company." She explained, taking out a pocket mirror to check her makeup.
Sasuke sat up and stretched. He scratched the back of his spiky black hair. "Sakura, are you coming to the company as well?"
"No." The woman replied. "I have rehearsals today. But if you need me, call me. Ok?" She smiled. "I know you have been busy a lot. Don't stress yourself out too much, alright?"
"Yeah…" He nodded. Although that might just be impossible with the small amount of time he was allowed to rest after just coming back from a trip. He and Sakura exited the plane; private security was waiting for them. They took their luggage and the pair were escorted to the main entrance. There were several journalists and a reporter standing by, ready to pounce as soon as they walked outside. Bodyguards held them back as the pair brisked their way past them, ignoring the questions and flashing cameras as they got into a black car with tinted windows.
"Do you mind if I just get ready at your place?" Sakura asked, frowning a bit as she clicked on her seatbelt. "I want to change into that blue rhinestone studded dress that I bought. And your condo has better security than mine. I don't feel like dealing with the media right now."
"Of course." Sasuke responded. "Let me know how things go after your rehearsal."
"Mhm, I will~" Sakura chirped, resting her head on Sasuke's shoulder.
The two had always shared a closeness since childhood, and naturally people were quick to assume them to be a couple. The media would hound Sasuke and Sakura if they were together, sometimes even stalking them to their next destinations out of the region. Or make rumors about nonexistent relationships or secret affairs they were having if they were not together. Which, needless to say, isn't very surprising when you're the 30 year old CEO prodigy of a highly reputable insurance company and the woman who follows you around is an up and coming actress. Even though they were not an actual couple, Sasuke made no attempts to confirm nor deny any of the paparazzi's accusations. So long as it maintained he and Sakura's good image and gave the girl publicity to advance her career, he could care less.
Sasuke fidgeted with his tie, staring out the dark windows as buildings passed them by in the car. It was still early morning; about 7am. He decided to take the chance to glance through his phone and emails for any updates. Just a message from his uncle, Madara, welcoming him back and telling him to get to work as soon as possible. Of course. He put the mobile device away as they approached his condo. Security gathered their belongings while he and Sakura went inside.
Sakura rushed to go and change into the dress she had mentioned. Then she reapplied her makeup and spritzed on extra perfume. When she was done, she yelled out, "I'm gone! See you later, Sasuke!"
A single hand protruded from a doorway as he waved her goodbye; he was in the process of changing clothes himself. After the young woman left, Sasuke was able to focus on his own needs now. He checked the time; an hour until he was to be at the office. That was more than enough. He closed the bathroom door and locked it. He only had a white button-down shirt and slacks on now. He began to undo his belt buckle and sat down on a small stool.
His body began to heat up in anticipation as he pulled out his cock. It was slightly swollen and semi-erect with a cock ring fastened at the base and a silver piercing on the underside of the glans, which went through the sensitive skin of his frenulum. He let out a shaky breath as he carefully slid off the ring. Tiny, delightful chills surged through his lower stomach as the metal device was removed and he placed it on the counter. He then took hold of his now completely erect cock, no longer being restrained, and began stroking it slowly with a firm grip.
Within a minute, precum began to leak out, dripping onto the floor in a long thin line. He curled his fingernails into the underside to offer a little more stimulation as his hand began to slide more easily with the aid of the precum. He kept going; his breaths were getting heavier. He pinched the small silver barbell of his dick piercing between his fingers with his other hand and tugged it, wincing in excitement at the small tang of pain he got. "Fuck!" As much as he wanted to keep teasing himself and make this last longer, he knew that he did not have that kind of time to afford. And it frustrated him. He used that irritation and knowledge to finally hurry and get it over with. His hand moved over the glans, squeezing it to the point it turned a dark pink. He jerked the tip with haste, making lewd wet noises that were just loud enough to reach his ears. And finally, his orgasm rocked his slender body as cum spurted out of his cock onto the black tiled floor.
"Hah…" He exhaled, allowing himself to ride the waves of his climax as he slumped back against the wall, causing the stool to slide forward a bit. He basked in the afterglow, feeling a great bit of relief from the ejaculation that he held back for the last three days. When his hand began to slide down to the base of his thigh, he bit his lip. No. He had to stop here. He groaned, cursing the fact that he needed to go to work as he forced himself to stand to his feet. After cleaning the floor, he finished undressing and got into the shower, setting the water to hot. Thirty minutes later, Sasuke was leaving his condo to get into his car and make it to the office building where he worked.

『 "Welcome to the Konoha Insurance Agency. If you are an employee, please clock in. If you have an appointment or would like to make one, please visit the front desk." 』
The miniature computer screen bolted to a wall greeted Sasuke at the door as he approached it. The CEO took out his badge and scanned his ID before waltzing inside. The sound of the familiar silver and brass fountain in the main lobby faintly hit his ears as visitors and employees walked back and forth. There was a little commotion here and there at the side offices, a few people in a line at the front desk, and several others sitting in chairs waiting to be called upon. Busy as usual but it could be worse. Sasuke ignored it all as he got onto the elevator. He pressed the button for the top floor and then glanced at his phone as if it were routine, scrolling through menial posts on social media. Once again, never anything interesting enough to satiate his time. He debated texting Sakura to ask if everything was going ok.
"W-wait!" A voice yelled out. But before Sasuke himself could react, the stranger had managed to wedge their hand in between the elevator's door, causing it to reopen. "Ouch! Fuck!" The person swore, wincing as they shook their hand in aggravation.
'Moron.' Sasuke shook his head and paid them no mind as he continued to look at his phone. Apparently, that meant he gave the person permission to start a conversation. Great. He was all about those long yet short-lived ramblings in the elevator with people he didn't care about.
"Oh hey, you're going to the top floor, too!?" The person asked, staring at the button panel. Their voice was deep but not very composed. "That's where all the executives and stuff are, right? I have an interview up there." They chatted, looking at the paperwork in their right hand before glancing over at Sasuke.
"Hm." The typical response left the CEO's throat. Although he was a little surprised to hear someone had an interview up there, he doubled back on it. 'Must be another ass-kissing, top dollar intern trying to impress the big wigs again.' Sasuke had seen it all before so this conversation was no different and he immediately decided not to care. But did that stop them from talking? No.
"But man, I'm so nervous. I didn't even pee before I came. You don't think I'll get so nervous I'll piss myself, right?"
"..." Even if Sasuke had something to say to that, he'd still be speechless. 'Who's fucking rookie ass intern is this?!'
Seeing Sasuke's lack of a reply, the person continued on. "Yeah, probably not. You probably didn't want to hear that either, haha!" They laughed awkwardly, loud enough to echo in the elevator. "But I really hope I get hired! The last few years have been rough for me. I had to quit working early and take a lot of time to prepare for this job the last couple months."
'Who the fuck quits their job before even-' When Sasuke turned to look at this hopeless soul, the elevator dinged and stopped at the third floor as someone else got on. They got in between Sasuke and the chatty person. All Sasuke could make out was a masculine presence in a black suit.
"I don't know why I'm so nervous. I have all the requirements and everything. I have a bachelor's degree and my background is totally clean. I even have references. I've got this, right? I can do this, right?" They muttered to themselves as if trying to desperately keep hold of their own sanity while making Sasuke slowly lose his.
As they approached the top floor, Sasuke sighed and finally put the cell phone back into his pocket. He stared forward and looked at his reflection in the metal frame of the elevator, using it to straighten out his bangs. He began to speak. "Listen. I'm going to be honest. You should-"
Ding.
"Oh this is my stop! Thanks for talking to me!" The person got off the elevator and gave a half wave to Sasuke as they paced towards an office; the other person got off as well, obstructing Sasuke's view. He could only see blonde hair before they were gone.
"..." Sasuke took a moment to stand outside of the elevator and frown, annoyed that the person didn't even bother to stay and finish listening despite the fact that he himself had to endure their ramblings. 'Hopeless.' Well whatever. Sasuke had other things to care about. But there was this nagging feeling at the back of his mind about the man. He chose to ignore it and proceed with his tasks for the day. He greeted his secretary, Shizune, who whizzed past him, paperwork and an iPad in hand.
"Morning, sir! Sorry, I have to do this interview! I will be with you momentarily!" She exclaimed, continuing on until she opened the door to an office with a stained white glass window for privacy. The person she was interviewing was the man who had just gotten off the elevator.
'Definitely not getting hired.' Sasuke remarked to himself as he stepped into his own office. For someone to be coming all the way to the top floor for an interview, they had to have clearance as everything legal-related happens up here and privacy is a strict concern. Not only that, but they'd be getting screened and managed by execs later to make sure they did their job properly and were up for the task. Which means that social awareness, competence, and the ability to not babble on were a must if you wish to procure and keep a job here. Something that particular individual seriously lacked. And they were nervous just for their first interview? Yeah. They weren't going anywhere fast.
The CEO made his way over to the Keurig coffee making machine situated near the sink in his office. After turning it on and setting a cup under it, he selected a dark roast canister with hazelnut flavoring and then let it go on to brew. He paced over to his desk, standing behind it to look out the window; it was a clear, early spring day with a slight chill in the air. Finally, he grabbed the cup of coffee and sat down to log into his computer. The screen greeted him by name and loaded the desktop, alerting him with tasks and notifications for the day.
After meticulously answering some emails, making appointments, and looking over paperwork, Sasuke stopped to take a breather. He took several sips of his coffee after adding a generous amount of sugar and sighed. He could hear mutterings outside of his office and the occasional high heels of the female staffing clicking on the tile floors. As he ran a hand through his hair debating whether or not he should procrastinate some more, he could faintly hear Shizune's voice outside; it sounded like she was fussing with the printer. He chuckled. After the machine's technical sounds were completed, he assumed she left again to return to her office. It was then that Sasuke began to wonder about the stranger on the elevator again and how that interview was going. If it had gone sour, Shizune would have reported back to him by now. Even though Sasuke was half paying attention, he still remembered some details that stood out to him while the one-sided conversation went on. The person had a bachelor's degree, so they at least went to college. That's good. And a reputable background check and legitimate references hopefully. But there was something else about the person that made Sasuke ponder. Their bumbling nature and nervousness stood out as if acting natural were a foreign concept. Bits and pieces of imagery flashed in Sasuke's mind, hinting at a sense of familiarity.
"Sasuke!" A knock sounded upon his door; it was Shizune.
"Come in."
The door opened and the secretary stepped in with bright eyes. "The interview went well! I think you will really like this person, sir. He meets all the requirements and he has had prior experience."
"That's good. But what position were they applying for?" He asked, brow raised with intrigue.
"A process server; someone to help handle and deliver all the legal paperwork and whatnot to make sure it reaches our clients. He has done delivery work before and has had training in the field. He has a bit of experience working in security, too. He is an excellent candidate!"
"Hm. I see." Sasuke took a sip of coffee. "What's his name?"
"Naruto Uzumaki."
Sasuke's eyes went wide, nearly choking on the drink. He sat up in the chair. 'Naruto?!' No way. There was no way it was that Naruto, was it? No, it couldn't be. He dropped out of college. And that man in the elevator didn't sound like him. Granted it had been… how long had it been again? Ten years? No, maybe nine?
"Sir? Is something wrong?" Shizune asked, a concerned look on her face.
"N-no." He responded. "It's just, that name sounded familiar is all." Way too familiar.
"Oh? Maybe you know him then. He went to the same private college you did."
And there it was. An imaginary arrow pierced itself right through Sasuke's mental psyche as if to say 'Told you so.' Why did he ever doubt himself to begin with. "Is he still here?" He asked.
"Yes."
"Bring him in. I want to speak with him privately."
"Right away!" Shizune opened the door and gestured for the new hire to step inside. She then dismissed herself and closed the door to allow them privacy.
But the person Sasuke bore witness to was not what he was expecting to see at all despite the evidence he had just been presented with. A tall, muscular man with a chest that was just asking to be set free from the confines of a black silk suit stood firm. Spiky blonde hair, stark blue eyes, and sun-kissed skin stood out as his most prominent, yet extremely familiar features. The scent of a musky cologne wafted off of them as well, further adding to the tantalizing demure and rather overly strapping presence he held. And this was Naruto?
"Nice to meet you, sir. I'll be in your care." He bowed.
'So his voice did get deeper?' What. the. fuck. He looked almost nothing like the twenty-something year old student he had as a colleague. A few of the similarities were still there, but goddamn the differences were striking. Sexily striking. Hardeningly striking. Sasuke cleared his throat and stood up before something else did. "So you're Naruto?"
"Yes, sir."
"And… you went to Jofuku University, a private college?"
"Yeah."
"What year did you graduate?" He asked next.
"Um, 20xx." He stated. "I have my certificate right here."
Naruto handed the paper to the man and Sasuke looked it over. There was no denying it; this certificate really did come from the same college Sasuke went to. 'But didn't he…?' However, Sasuke could not judge nor disapprove of him. Even if Naruto had dropped out at that time, the date on this current certificate showed that he obtained his bachelor's two years after Sasuke did. So he must have gone back to finish. Fair enough. He debated asking why he dropped out, but Sasuke had a more important question for the blonde. "...do you know who I am?"
Naruto gave the man a quick once over. "Umm.." He rubbed his chin, then narrowed his eyes a bit. "You do look familiar, sir. Oh wait!" He snapped his fingers. "You were the guy in the elevator, right?"
'You've got to be kidding me.' Sasuke grit his teeth and tried to maintain his composure but couldn't. "It's me, you idiot. Sasuke from Jofuku. The one you always did group projects with?"
Naruto laughed. "Of course I know it's you! From the moment I saw you get in the elevator, I knew exactly who it was and I just had to fuck with you. Couldn't get you to look at me though.." He grumbled. "But you look different."
"That should be my reaction to you!" The CEO retorted, gesturing to all of Naruto standing at his doorway. Seriously, when the hell did he get this ripped? The things a near decade could do to a person were holy and underappreciated.
"Haha! I'm sorry. But it's been a while, right? Like before you always had that gloomy and solemn look. Well, you still kind of do but that's beside the point." He laughed, uncaring of whether or not his words took offense. "And you always had one bang covering your eye like an emo kid, and it wasn't as spiky like it is now. One thing hasn't changed though: you're still obsessed with looking at your phone." He huffed before giving the CEO another once over. 'Looks good in a suit though.'
Sasuke brought a hand up to squeeze the bridge of his nose and sighed. "I should fire you before you even start. And, you do know I'm also the CEO, correct?"
"Yep!" He nodded. "I mean, I'm pretty sure I saw the sign on your door that said that anyway. And as long as you're not Madara Uchiha, I think I'm good. Heard that guy was… not particularly nice around here, but I'm glad I won't be working for him."
"Madara is my uncle and he stepped down to be co-CEO. I took over about two years ago."
"Should have been sooner." He scoffed.
Sasuke sighed as he continued on. "I manage the agency here in Shinjuku to operate out of Tokyo. There is one in Osaka as well that my father manages from time to time but he's on his way to retiring soon." He explained; something he didn't think he really needed to do but Naruto could be an ill-informed idiot at times. Which brought Sasuke to his next question. "How did you come to learn about this position and want to work for the company?" A process server wasn't a job that just anyone applied to or looked for specifically and it was hard to come across because it was rarely available for long.
"Someone from the company approached me and gave me the details after learning of my educational background." He rubbed at the small bruise on his hand from the elevator door earlier. "That information is in my resume as well."
"I see." That explained a lot of things. At the very least, Naruto was not a rookie nor a liar as Sasuke had almost originally thought. And it seemed he might have plans for the future, too. Whether or not he followed through with them was not a concern as Sasuke adjusted his tie and gave a firm look to the male. "This isn't a job where you get to play around or procrastinate. We will be requiring your full attention to everything; every little detail. Do you understand?"
"Yes, sir!" Naruto said, stiffening up.
"You are expected to handle legal paperwork and documentation. Under no circumstances are you to deliver or give any sealed documents to anyone other than the intended party. I don't care if it's a package or a birthday card. It's not yours to tamper with."
"Yes." Naruto nodded. "You can trust me. I handled deliveries and stuff like that before."
"Then if you fully understand…" Sasuke held out his hand. "Welcome aboard."
"Sweet! I-I mean thank you, sir."
Naruto took Sasuke's hand and shook it with the hardest grip the CEO had ever been given. The blonde seemed to be completely unaware of his own strength. That or he was just a giant, enthusiastic brute with the mentality of a puppy. If cute weren't a foreign word to Sasuke, that's what he would call it. Sasuke took his hand away and began to speak again. "You'll have orientation next week. Be there, be prepared, and on time. If I see you on this floor, you had better be working."
"I will!"
"Are you sure about that?" He asked, folding his arms.
"Yes!" Naruto nodded. "I look forward to working with you. Again. Haha!" He tried to make the situation light-hearted but Sasuke wasn't having it. Yeah, that was probably his cue to leave and not take up any more of the man's valuable time. "I'll be going then. Until next week~" And with that, Naruto left the office, but not before tripping over his feet.
'What a fucking... never mind.' Sasuke shook his head. 'I still don't understand how he keeps ending up in prestigious places. And how he's still managing to have that much enthusiasm.' But if Sasuke dwelled on it anymore, he'd just be aggravated. More importantly, he seriously doubted the male's performance. He seemed like the type to cave under enough pressure. Which would not be good as there were going to be a lot of intimidating faces he'd have to impress.
Sasuke returned to his chair and faced his computer again. Now that everything was quiet and he confirmed that the new hire was indeed his old colleague, something else weighed on Sasuke's mind. Naruto certainly had the makings of true professionalism behind him, but one thing he said in the elevator still stood out to him. Even if it was a minor inconsistency, it was still worth looking into. He picked up the phone and pressed a button.
"Yes, Mr. Uchiha. How may I help you?"
"Send me a copy of Naruto Uzumaki's resume and background report."
"Right away, sir."
~:: ღ ::~
Naruto began his first week of orientation after another interview and his background check being cleared. He was given an explicitly formal dress code and a badge to clock in with at any of the company's establishments. He had his own office to sort through paperwork and a computer to access other documents and emails. He was also given a key to use the company vehicles instead of his own car but only to conduct business with unless otherwise stated. Too bad; would have saved money on gas leaving to go get lunch everyday. Aside from that, he also had online courses about the company and its policies to complete before the end of his orientation. Sasuke was serious when he told him he wouldn't have time to procrastinate. On his first and second day, Shizune took him around the different departments to meet people.
"Over there is TenTen. She's the head of the security department." Shizune pointed out, keeping up her quick walking pace.
"Hey! If you need me to beat someone up, let me know!" The woman chimed, pulling a guy in a dark suit and sunglasses with spiky brown hair into a headlock. Said man began to berate her as Naruto and Shizune walked on.
'She seems a bit too enthusiastic about her job.' Naruto thought. "Who's that guy in sunglasses though?" He asked.
"That would be one of Sasuke's bodyguards." She replied.
'Bodyguard?!' Naruto had seen the man around a few times, and it looked like he was always monitoring the floors where Sasuke or other execs were. So that finally made sense. He wondered if the bodyguard had concealed weapons, too.
"And in that office is the Human Resources manager. He's not in right now, but if you have any problems relating to your job: work issues, pay issues, injuries, things like that, you can go and see him."
"Ok." Naruto nodded, making a mental note of that. Before they walked away, he looked at the name on the door so he'd at least know who to ask for. 'Shikamaru Nara.'
"And then of course, we have the executive manager, Ms. Anko." Shizune gestured to a door before opening it, revealing a dimly lit office with a sweet aroma resulting from a multitude of sweets on the desk; donuts, candy, dango, all kinds of delectable treats scattered there.
"And no, the candy is not for the guests." Shizune said as she turned the lights on to the bright setting.
"HEY!" A woman's voice angrily sounded. "Don't turn the lights on like that! You know Mochi hates it!"
Naruto raised a brow at that. When he looked to the back of the office, he could see a woman bent over and observing a glass case. It looked like a small terrarium. When the woman stood up and faced them, Naruto tried not to flinch at what he saw. She was holding a medium sized, light pink colored snake in her right hand. She approached them, chest partially exposed due to the top she was wearing.
"Well I'm sorry, Ms. Anko. But we have a new hire. He's going to be a process server for our company and will be helping to handle all the legal paperwork." Shizune said her words calmly as if there weren't literally a serpentine menace in their presence.
"Oh, I see." She smiled at Naruto, giving him a once over. "Cute~" He awkwardly smiled back and introduced himself.
"Nice to meet you, ma'am. I'm Naruto." He would have shook her hand, but, well… yeah.
"Pfft! Don't call me ma'am!" She chuckled. "I'm not that old. But it's nice to meet you as well. Do you want to hold Mochi?"
"No thank you."
"You sure? He doesn't bite! He's just a cute little ball of-"
"Ms. Anko, why don't you tell Naruto more about yourself and not the snake."
Anko huffed. "Fine." She went to put the reptile back into its enclosure before squirting hand sanitizer into her palms and sitting down at her desk. "So I manage things like client concerns, safety procedures, employee guidelines and work ethic. You'll see me hosting nearly every meeting that you go to and most of the emails come from me as well. Basically, if there's something you don't know or need help with, you can ask me. I know executive manager sounds like a big and scary title, but I promise I won't bite." She grinned, picking up one of the donuts from the box to take a bite. "I just need to make sure our employees are doing things accordingly to keep the company running smoothly~"
"I got it!" Naruto answered. "So will you be training me?"
"Ha! Nah. That's a job for someone else. But if you survive orientation, you basically get to become my slave. So you at least have that to look forward to!" Anko chimed, reaching for another donut.
"Ms. Anko, please."
"I'm only kidding, Shizune. Maybe. Anyway! Work hard and you'll do just fine!" Anko assured, although it didn't sound reassuring at all to Naruto. "With that said, I should go ahead and introduce you to your general managers." Anko pressed a button on the phone and an irate voice answered through the speaker.
"What."
"Don't say what to me!" Anko responded angrily. "Come to my office! There's a new person you need to train."
"No."
"Do it or you're fired."
"...fine."
Naruto was taken aback by the person on the other end of the line and how they spoke. He now had this image in his head of some sharp upper class guy in the company whose job is to do things he hates so therefore he takes it out on the trainees. 'Please don't let it be that.' He thought. There was already so much pressure being put on him and it hadn't even been the full week yet. And he still wasn't even sure what to think of Anko.
In under a minute, two men entered the office: one with white hair and pale skin that had hazel eyes. And the other with dark skin and jet black hair with yellow eyes. The white haired one had a simple, yet tired grin on his face. Whereas the black haired one looked like the very air around him was pissing him off.
"Naruto, these are your assistant managers, Zet and Su." Anko introduced.
"Hello." The white male, Su, greeted.
"Hm." The dark male, however, gave a disinterested response.
"Now I know they don't look like much, but Zet and Su will happily be able to help guide you through the company." Anko explained. "If none of us are around, you can rely on them. They will also be the ones mainly giving you tasks aside from the higher ups."
"It's all very boring. Just quit." Zet said.
"Hey, give him a chance first." Su retorted.
Amazing. Despite the fact that these two looked and acted like night and day, they still somehow were able to compliment and respond almost in unison to each other's speech. Naruto didn't know if that should be off-putting or not.
"Well good luck." And with that, Zet walked off.
"Zet!" Su sighed and looked at Naruto before giving him a bow. "I am sorry about him. But yes, please call on us if you need. We will be there."
And just as quickly as they appeared, they were gone. Yet again, amazing. And Naruto still didn't have an appropriate response. After that introduction, Shizune finished showing him around before taking him right back to his office. He was then told how to call and answer phone lines. If it was a client, transfer them. If it was a solicitor, report it to human resources so they could be blocked. All very basic and simple things so far.
By the next day, Zet and Su would come and work with Naruto next to explain his role and duties of process server in the company and that it was important he learned where each and every department was as it would be his job to deliver and pick up things from them. He was told to use the built in GPS that the company vehicles had to find locations that he needed to serve paperwork, court orders, or confidential documents and to make completely certain that he was giving them to the right party. Naruto took notes as he struggled to keep up with Zet and Su's teachings, especially as they kept interrupting or correcting each other.
As the week went on, Naruto slowly but gradually managed to catch on to everything he needed to do. He did still have a hard time finding his way around the building's departments, but he was able to manage and work things out by asking for help when he needed it. Anytime he had something to do on the top floor, it was to sign off on documentation or sit in on a meeting. If it was slow though, he'd take his time to gather his thoughts and sneak away for a snack break or two or three. At one point, he had idled for too long and was smacked in the back of the head with a folder by Sasuke as he walked by. Naruto smiled awkwardly at the male, but he didn't get scolded. He considered that lucky.
By the end of his second week, Naruto's hands were hurting and his legs felt stiff from all the walking. He liked to think that he was decently in shape, so the thought of anyone being able to do this job without any kind of metabolism must be horrifying. At thirty years old, the blonde could only tell himself not to get too comfortable as his only motivation. But, he liked it. It was only his second week, but he wasn't being treated badly despite being somewhat of an errand boy. Shizune was very kind and the executives, while snobby, weren't that horrible either. Even Sasuke wasn't that bad. When Naruto was struggling with the company's interface on his PC, the CEO came in to assist.
"Hey, you're pretty good at this~"
"I work here, idiot. Of course I am." Sasuke huffed. "If there's anything else you don't understand, come to me. Otherwise, continue your work." And the CEO walked off.
There was something nostalgic about having his former colleague and now boss helping him out just like he did when they took classes together. Naruto's managers though. Different story. Naruto felt like pulling his hair out when they were around to assist him or assign work. And their personalities, much like their appearance, were so contradictory that it hurt. Su was ok, but Zet could honestly piss off.
Naruto leaned back in his chair and stretched at the desk in his office. The lack of light coming from the window indicated that it was getting late. Before calling it a day, Naruto decided to look at his tasks through the company's portal to make sure he had nothing else that needed to be done. He groaned when he saw a bright red alert message; it was a reminder that his online orientation courses had not yet been completed. "Oh shit!" He nearly forgot. He kept putting it off to focus on everything else, thinking he would have time to do it later in the week but obviously that didn't happen. He opened up the courses, seeing that he still had three more to do, and each one would take about ten to fifteen minutes. Ok, no big deal. He could do that. But when he clicked on one of them, a video played. One that he couldn't skip and had to watch all the way through. "For fuck's sake." He said aloud.
As he boringly rested his chin atop his hand and waited for the course to complete, he heard a small commotion outside. His office door was open so he peered around to look. Several of his coworkers were chatting, conversing about the day and talking about going to get drinks. One of them saw Naruto in his office and made a gesture, asking if he wanted to join. Naruto smiled, thinking it would be nice to get the chance to get to know more people in the company. However, his face looked back to the computer screen to see the video still playing. He looked back at the coworker and shook his head, giving them a thumbs down. The worker gave a shrug and a nod and eventually the entire group left. Now it was just Naruto by himself.
'Man… this blows.' He supposed there was always another time he could hang out with them. Truthfully, he hadn't had that luxury to do such things in a while, unless it was with his cousin, Ino. He rubbed his face and sucked it up, staring blankly at the screen as he waited for it to complete.
An unknown amount of time had passed then, and Naruto was still at his desk, sitting through the last video course. He was momentarily distracted when he heard the elevator ding outside. Thinking it was just one of his coworkers, he paid it no mind. That is until he heard high heels clicking on the floor as they approached Sasuke's office. Intrigued, he looked up from his desk curiously to peer outside. It was a beautiful, slender woman with pink hair in an updo wearing a red silk dress and ruby lipstick. She knocked at Sasuke's office and waited. Feeling eyes on her, she looked to her right to see Naruto staring.
Naruto flinched and gave her an awkward wave and a smile. Her expression did not change but she gave a simple nod in return and said nothing. After a moment, the door opened and she walked inside.
'Wow. She's gorgeous.' As gorgeous as the man himself actually, Naruto had to admit. With his slender form, slicked back hair, and stoic yet lascivious look, paired with that woman, they made quite the model couple. Naruto was kind of jealous if he were honest. He remembered Sasuke being popular for his looks in college too, but he was always hard to approach due to his stoic nature. Naruto began to wonder if he had a girlfriend the whole time then. And while he pondered on that idea, the door to Sasuke's office reopened. The woman stepped out, heading back towards the elevator. 'She's crazy famous, isn't she? Hope there's no cameras to deal with.' The blonde internally grumbled to himself. Naruto then heard a little jingle sound from the computer. When he looked at the screen, he was met with an 'All Courses Completed' message. "Fucking finally!" He chimed. He could leave and go home now. He signed out of the computer, grabbed his coat, and made a beeline for the door.
"Hey! Watch it!"
"Oh!" Naruto, not paying attention, had nearly stepped right on Sasuke's feet as he was leaving his own office. "Sorry." He apologized.
Sasuke said nothing further as they both ventured towards the elevator. Naruto fidgeted a bit. This awkward silence and tense atmosphere was killing him. After sitting in his office all afternoon, he was dying to talk to someone. And to his surprise, it was the CEO that spoke first.
"You were still working? I thought you left with the others for drinks."
"Oh. Well, I was going to. But I still had to finish my orientation courses. It was my last day to complete them." He tiredly rubbed at his wrists and hands.
"..." Again there was silence from the CEO until he replied. "I see. So you really haven't been slacking off. Much."
"I told you I wouldn't!" Naruto snapped, momentarily forgetting that this was his boss. "Give me credit where credit's due." He sighed, waiting for the elevator to come to the floor as he pressed the button. He was tired and had been pushed around all week, and was expected to learn everything in a matter of weeks. Exhausted wouldn't even begin to describe Naruto's mental state right now.
Sasuke gave him a look, surprised at his bold response, yet did not berate him. "Well, I will admit that I can recognize your dedication and hard work thus far. I haven't had a single complaint. So I suppose if a little praise is what you want, I can treat you to a drink myself."
"Wh-what?" Naruto looked at Sasuke, caught off guard by the offer.
"If you want to anyway."
Oh, he was serious. "Wait, you aren't doing anything with-"
"No. She's gone home."
"Oh… Th-then I guess it's fine." Was Naruto's final response for a while. Once again, that thick veil of silence and tension fell between them. The blonde decided not to ask anymore questions until they got off the elevator and headed for the parking garage.
"I took the train here today." Naruto said. "Where are we going for drinks? I can grab a taxi or-"
"To my place." Sasuke pressed a button on his key and then looked at Naruto. "Don't just stand there. Get in."
What. Now Naruto was definitely confused. His boss, his former colleague, a guy that he barely talked to aside from job related matters, and only just started working for, was taking him for a ride in his very luxurious and fancy sports car. To his place. For a drink. If he were about to be played or if this was a new way to say 'Good job but you're fired', then he would prefer it if it happened sooner rather than later.
"Hey. Get in or I'll leave you."
"Sorry!" Well fuck it. Might as well see where this goes. Naruto opened the door, admiring the interior just as much as the out. He had to adjust the seat for his height before climbing in, then made himself comfortable.
Sasuke started the car and bright blue LED lights turned on to illuminate the entire level of the parking garage. He winded and weaved his way through the garage until he came out onto the road, and with a quick press of his foot, they took off.
'Whoa!' Had he pressed down any harder, Naruto's head would be in the backseat from whiplash. But he liked it. It felt dangerous and risky, yet cool and suave with Sasuke as the driver. Ok. So maybe this wasn't so bad after all. That is until music began to play. Wait why did this sound familiar.
『 X gon' give it to ya! What!
Fuck waiting for you to get it on your own! 』
Naruto snapped his head to look at Sasuke with an expression of pure bewilderment when the song's explicit lyrics started. But the CEO was driving calmly with a straight look on his face as he quietly mouthed the words to the song. When he finally noticed Naruto staring at him, he responded.
"What? You never had a stressful day before? This helps."
At that, Naruto just made another face with a nod like, 'Ok man whatever you say.' And chose not to comment. From the moment he had left the office with Sasuke, things just kept getting weirder and weirder. And the blonde decided that this was just the wayward life his boss led. So he returned his attention to looking out at the street, music hammering his ear drums as they sped on.
Naruto was relieved yet somehow disappointed when the ride came to end as they started to encroach upon their destination: a tall building in the middle of the city with tinted windows and a lighted parking garage. Was this his residence? Did he own the whole building? Such knowledge as that probably wouldn't surprise Naruto with everything he's experienced thus far. Sasuke parked the car and got out. Naruto did the same.
When they went inside, a man in a suit greeted him. Wait, Naruto recognized this person; it was one of Sasuke's bodyguards, Kiba. Except this time, the man had a large white dog with a spiked collar and a black vest on sitting next to him. And it wasn't wearing a leash. The canine's eyes watched their movements but otherwise did not do anything to make an attempt at greeting them.
"Sasuke, I'm sorry if this sounds completely random. But are you in the yakuza?"
"What?" Somehow, the blonde almost managed to stifle a laugh of the Uchiha; he kept it under wraps with a small snort. "Quit messing around." He regained his composure, hiding the amusement on his face that was only there for a moment before it became stern again. As they approached the door to his apartment after getting off an elevator, Sasuke took out his keys. "That was just my bodyguard and his dog. It's a trained K9, so yeah I could see why you would ask something like that. But seriously?"
Naruto chuckled, elbowing Sasuke in the arm. "So it did make you laugh."
"What are you talking about?"
"I heard that half-snort!" He mocked.
"Shut up and get inside." He said, not humoring him further as he opened the door.
As he was invited, Naruto stepped into the apartment. He was awestruck. It was bigger and definitely better than anything he could dream of staying in. There was an aquarium with different kinds of tropical fish as a centerpiece; a large screen television, a sectioned couch and… ah there it was: the random three piece artwork of a black panther on the wall to match the cool guy aesthetic. Yep, everything Naruto thought would be in here was. Glancing around, he could see so many doors and wondered where they all led.
"Take a seat over there at the mini bar. I'll be with you in a bit."
"Alright." Naruto made his way over to the neon-lit bar Sasuke gestured to and sat on one of the black bar stools. He looked at the collection of alcohol displayed on the shelves behind it, but recognized none of the brands. Which meant one of two things or possibly both: he was going to get turnt, or they were all going to be disgusting. He tapped his fingers on the counter, waiting for Sasuke.
After a few minutes, the CEO came back out now sporting a more casual getup; black slacks and a dark top. He looked pretty damn good in it. Naruto was convinced that the male could probably pull off any look though. Sasuke went to pour them both a drink, selecting a dark blue bottle and filling up a couple of shot glasses. He slid one of the glasses over to Naruto and then sat down.
Naruto took a hesitant sip of the alcohol, surprised by its sweet taste at first and then the usual burning tingle he got after swallowing. It was strong, but not enough to make him cough, going down smoothly enough for him to exhale and feel as if he were already on cloud nine. "What is this? Its amazing."
"Kweichow Moutai." Upon seeing the confused expression from the blonde, Sasuke sighed. "It's a Chinese sake that's aged for thirty years. And its fucking expensive so I am glad to hear that it's to your liking."
"Wow, really? Thirty years?" Naruto was no connoisseur, but he could appreciate good alcohol and the time and dedication it took to create it at the very least. "Just as fancy as your apartment then."
"First of all, it's a condo. Apartments are what poor people have."
Naruto narrowed his eyes and took another sip of his drink. "...alright Sasuke, I'm going to need you to check your privilege."
At that, Sasuke chuckled, offering Naruto the rarity of witnessing the man actually having a sense of humor. "So, do you stay in Tokyo?"
Naruto nodded. "Yeah. I share an apartment with my cousin, Ino." He explained. "I have my own car, but it's easier to take the train most days. If I don't feel like dealing with a crowd, I'll drive to work."
"Yeah, me too. I don't like crowds." Sasuke said, taking another sip of the sake. Seeing that he and Naruto's were almost empty, he refilled their glasses. "That's why I offered to come to my place instead. I don't like being around a lot of people when I'm out. I have to deal with that all day at work."
"Thanks. And yeah, I guess that makes sense. When your work life already consists of noises and commotion, it makes sense that you wouldn't want to bother with it in your spare time." Another sip. This bit of information also explained why Sasuke hardly ever hung out with anyone previously.
"So you live with your cousin. I noticed that you only had her and another person with your last name listed as your emergency contacts on your paperwork."
"Yeah, that would be my grandfather." He grinned. "He's a retired war veteran."
"What? You're joking."
"I'm not! Look!" Naruto took out his wallet to show Sasuke a picture of his grandpa, Jiraiya. He was posing with a smug grin on his face while pointing to a large scar on his chest. "See that scar? He said he got it from falling on top of a landmine. And miraculously lived."
Sasuke almost choked on his drink. "What? There's no way!"
"Haha! Nah, the truth is he actually doesn't remember how he got it. He just knew that he blacked out and woke up to his chest bleeding. He nearly lost his life." He explained. "But I'm glad he didn't. He's crazy and annoying, but I love him. He stays in a one bedroom house out in the country."
"Ah, ok." Sasuke replied, nodding as he took all the information in. 'Geez, even his grandpa is fucking ripped. Must run in the family.' Sasuke finished his second drink. "My mom and dad live in Osaka. I go see them every once in the while when life isn't in the way."
"Really? What are they like?"
"Rich elites that have people answer to their every beck and call." He shrugged.
"I could have guessed that, Sasuke." Naruto huffed. "I meant their personalities."
"My mom is nice, but sometimes overbearing. My dad's annoying and pretty strict." He said plainly.
"Pfft!" Naruto snorted, nearly spilling his drink. "Sounds about right. Most parents are like that!"
While Naruto was musing, Sasuke's eyes wandered over his muscular body and frame again. It was hard not to stare honestly; he was like a piece of meat being hung on a hook and dangled in front of him. Every time he laughed or exhaled, those pecs of his would strain against the thin, silk fabric of the top he was wearing. More than once had the CEO found himself ogling the blonde. Sasuke quickly poured himself another glass. "Naruto, what's with your clothes? They all seem too tight or ill-fitting."
"Oh, so you noticed, huh?"
'Hard not to.'
"These are all clothes that I'm borrowing from my gramps. I'm a bit larger than him, so yeah. They don't fit as well, but I can't afford to buy my own work clothes right now. I'm saving up money."
"Right. Didn't you mention that you were pursuing law? Prosecutor, correct?"
"Mhm." Naruto nodded. "Kind of fell behind on that when stuff happened."
"So… What exactly happened?" Sasuke finally asked. "After that night when you invited me to karaoke, you went dark. Didn't return anyone's texts or calls."
"..." There was silence from the blonde before he lowly began to speak. "My mother was in the hospital. Something happened regarding her condition and… I needed to be there."
"Oh." Was the only thing Sasuke could find himself saying. He suddenly felt like an asshole for asking now, but it had been eating away at him since the blonde's return. And he did kind of owe him that much of an explanation. "So is she…?"
"She's ok now!" Naruto smiled. "But I try not to worry her or bother her too much. So that's why…"
"I get it." Sasuke said, gesturing to the blonde that he didn't need to say anything further if he didn't want to. It seemed like a sore subject anyway and now the CEO felt like he had soured the mood. It not only explained why she wasn't a contact, but also why Naruto suddenly had to drop out. Naruto must have been spending all that time catering to his mother's needs. Sasuke kind of felt like shit now. "Sorry for bringing it up."
"Nah, it's fine! Honestly, I'm just relieved that she's out now."
"Good." Sasuke poured him another glass.
"Thanks~" He then elbowed the male. "...for worrying about me! Didn't think Mister Stiff n' Smug CEO had the capacity to do such things!"
Sasuke sighed. "I'm assigning you extra work."
"Aw, c'mon!" Naruto whined.
"Hmph."
They drank and chatted some more, allowing more time to pass between them. Then Naruto chuckled as he suddenly made an observant look at Sasuke.
"What?" The CEO asked, suspicious of his stare.
"Hmm since you were talking about how I looked earlier..." The blonde's lips spread into an amused grin. "How come you're still a twink?"
"What?! Fuck off!" He cursed. "I'll have you know that I work out often! Not everyone is blessed with the genetics of a Greek God!" Sasuke stammered, shoving Naruto. He hadn't meant to do it as hard as he did, but it was enough to cause Naruto to spill his drink and splash it onto his shirt. "Ah, shit. Sorry." He stood up to get a towel.
"Nah s'ok." Naruto slurred, setting the glass down to unbutton his shirt and take it off. "Only got a little wet."
When Sasuke returned with the towel, his heart skipped a beat. In full view was Naruto's nude, topless torso on display. His biceps and shoulders were finally set free from the strict confines of his clothes and took their natural shape. His large hands trailed down his abs, drunkenly trying to wipe the moistness away with his fingertips. And wait. What is that beneath his bellybutton? 'A piercing?!' Sasuke walked over and proceeded to give Naruto the cloth to dry himself with. "You didn't have to take off your shirt, moron." He sighed, but was not complaining about the view. Not to mention Naruto was pretty tipsy by now so it didn't matter.
"Thanks." He started drying the spot on his skin where the sake soaked through. "Just glad it won't stain or anything." But Sasuke's eyes were still too preoccupied. Seeing that the CEO was mesmerized with his current form, Naruto smirked. "You like the piercing?"
Yes. The navel piercing. Only that. That's all he liked. Not the immaculately and perfectly sculpted snack in front of him. Just the piercing. "It's nice."
"Heh, thanks~" Naruto set the towel on the counter and his now slightly hazy blue eyes drifted over Sasuke's form. "So what about you? Ya got any piercins' or tats?"
"What?"
"Come onnn~" He grinned. "A guy like you? Ya must have made some rebellious choices when you were younger or somethin', yeah?" He asked, resting his chin atop his hand. His speech and mannerisms continued to be slurred and lax.
'Is he going to put his shirt back on?' Sasuke sighed. "Well… yes. I do have piercings."
"Aw, sweet!" He looked Sasuke over. "Where? Can I see?" He asked, tapping a finger on his jaw as he tried to take a guess.
Sasuke put down his glass. "...do you really want to see?"
"Uh, yeah?" Naruto replied, becoming increasingly more curious. "C'mon. Even if it's bad, I won't laugh."
Clearly that wasn't the issue but Sasuke glanced to the side for a moment, contemplating if he really wanted to do what he was insisting that he shouldn't. But his body moved before his mind could coordinate to him properly. He stood up and began to undo his belt buckle.
Naruto lifted a brow. 'What's he doing?' Was he untucking his shirt? No, that doesn't seem right either. Wait. Why is his hand going into his pants. Why is he lowering the waistband. Why is- 'Holy shit.' The blonde's mouth was agape when he bore witness to what was being presented in front of him right now: Sasuke's pierced cock.
Sasuke held it upright in his hand to show off the frenum piercing underneath. Seeing Naruto's reaction, he couldn't help but to grin. "Do you like my piercing?" He threw the blonde's question back at him.
"Uh…" Naruto's cheeks were turning darker in color. Yet, his eyes did not move from staring at the CEO's dick. A nice size, beautiful color, and partially hard; possibly due to the effects of the alcohol. The barbell on the piercing looked to be a smaller one, not like the huge ones you'd see on someone who had a Prince Albert for example. "...Did it hurt?" Words finally left the blonde's mouth, albeit in the form of another question.
"Yeah." Sasuke replied. "Stung like hell for a week, too. I didn't pass out or anything during it though." But the question Naruto asked next would make Sasuke do a double take.
"...can I touch it?"
