"Okay girls, today's committee is called to order," Millie said.
After the incident with the cutest boys' list, the girls had made some drastic changes with their list committee. No more permanently elected leaders who could get corrupted on power, now every week the people in charge changed and everyone had their turn being the committee representative. And this week, Millie was the head of the committee, with Red and Annie as her advisers.
"First and foremost, I would like to welcome Sally Powder Turner as a permanent member of the Girls' List Committee. She was an honorary member last year but she proved her loyalty and convictions to us. Please welcome her properly," Millie added.
"Welcome!" all the girls shouted. "May Powder's sky remain unclouded and shining bright!"
Powder stood still, feeling a little bit nervous.
"You may sit now, Powder. Welcome to the committee," Millie said.
"Sunshine," Powder said as she sat down.
"Now that this is done, who has anything to deliberate on?" Millie asked.
"If it pleases and sparkles, I would like to suggest that we invite Lizzy to the next meeting as an honorary member," Nelly said.
"Eclipse!" Lola objected. "She's too new and we know nothing about her."
"Isn't she Powder's bestie?" Heidi said.
"Yeah, and she always was a student here, she just missed a year," Red added.
"Exactly! It's suspicious! Where was she? We can't trust her!" Lola argued.
"Alright everyone, calmed down!" Millie exclaimed. "According to my reports, Lizzy was already invited in the past and refused. I doubt her response will be any different. She said she wasn't interested in being in any groups."
"Tsk, pretentious," Lola mumbled.
"No, she's not!" Nelly argued. "She just doesn't want to take any side!"
"Girls, don't forget you are talking about someone's best friend," Red said, glancing at Powder.
Wendy remained silent. She was done bothering with the Lizzy mystery and knew sooner and later, the truth would expose itself. She just had to be patient. She was just glad she wasn't the only one wondering about it.
"Let's move on if it sparkles with all the girls," Millie said.
"Sunshine!"
Suddenly the door burst open and Bebe rushed inside the room, looking panicked.
"Girls! We have a huge problem!" she exclaimed.
"You are late for the meeting Bebe," Millie said, sterned. "Please, come before the Rainbow Railing and explain what's going on."
Bebe walked into the center of the room, panting to catch her breath.
"The boys… they… they made a list too!" Bebe revealed.
"What!? What kind of list?" Annie asked.
"It's… a list… ranking every girl in the class… from prettiest to ugliest!"
Everyone gasped and started to mumble to each other.
"Silence everyone!" Millie exclaimed. "Bebe, where did you hear such a thing?"
"I heard the boys talking about it in the park! They were bragging about it!"
"Impossible! Boys, making a list? It's a girl thing!" Jenny protested.
"It's 2022 already, if girls can do anything boys do, then the opposite is also true I'm afraid," Heidi said.
"How dare they judge the way we look and make a list out of it!" Lola exclaimed.
"Didn't we do that last year?" Powder said but everyone ignored her.
"Girls, why do we even care what boys think of us? Screw them and their stupid list," Wendy said.
"Wendy is right, we don't need the approval of stupid boys!" Nelly approved.
"R-Right, I… I don't care where they put me on that list," Bebe said.
"If it's sparkles with all the girls we can close this discussion of the boys' list," Millie said.
"Sunshine!" all the girls said.
"S-Sunshine…!" Bebe added hesitantly.
The next day, at the cafeteria, the boys were laughing together at their table. The girls had no idea what was so funny, but somehow, it bothered them. But none of them wanted to admit it.
"So… how come Lizzy isn't eating with us?" Red suddenly asked.
"She thinks she's too cool to sit with us," Lola replied with disdain.
"But she is cool!" Nelly argued.
"Hey Powder, how come you're not eating with her? She's your bestie," Annie said.
"Right… I've been so used to her absence the last year. I should probably go be with her… I think?"
"You should! Don't mind us! We can still hang out other times. Besties come first," Heidi said.
"Mhmm," the other girls agreed.
"Aww, thanks, girls. You're always been so nice to me, especially after Lizzy went missing… Seeya later!"
"Wait, I'm going with you!" Bebe suddenly said.
"Bebe?" Wendy questioned.
"What? I want to get to know Lizzy. And you know… maybe learn what she was doing during her missing year," Bebe whispered that last sentence in Wendy's ear.
"Ohhh… gotcha. Have fun!"
Powder and Bebe left the girls' table and ahead towards Lizzy, who was eating alone. She smiled at Powder but seemed surprised to see Bebe.
"What do you want?" Lizzy asked.
"Well, you know, a friend of a friend is my friend," Bebe said as she sat down.
Powder sat down too.
"We participated in the sled race together, remember? I'm Bebe Stevens. I thought you were really cool back then."
"Yeah well, we still lost," Lizzy replied bitterly.
"What if I tell you I know a way to get back at boys?" Bebe suddenly said.
"What the hell are you talking about?"
"Bebe?" Powder asked.
"You are aware of the Girls' List Committee, don't you Lizzy?"
"I already told you people I'm not interested in joining-"
"I'm not here to recruit you. In fact, the committee would probably not agree with what I'm about to do…"
"Bebe, I don't think you should then-"
"Powder, she has a right to know! It's also affecting her!"
"What? What's going on?" Lizzy asked, starting to be worried.
"It's the boys. They… They made a list. Ranking every girl in the class… from prettiest to ugliest."
Silence. Lizzy took a few sips of her juice before responding.
"And?"
"And? And!? You're also on that list! Don't you care at which position the boys put you?"
"I don't give a shit what the boys think of me."
"Well, I do!"
"That sounds like a you problem."
"Listen Lizzy, they are probably laughing behind your back and calling you ugly!"
"Okay. Fuck them then."
And she continued eating.
"Don't you want to do something that would piss them off? To get back at them for the race? Let's get our hand on their damn list!"
"Hmmm… I mean, pissing them off does seem fun," Lizzy admitted.
"I don't get it, didn't the committee make a list last year ranking the boys on their appearance too? I was just an honorary member back then so I'm not quite sure," Powder said.
"Powder… you're not helping."
"Sorry…"
"What's in it for me?" Lizzy asked.
"Huh? Well, you're gonna see how high you scored on the list-"
"I don't care about that."
"Well then… the satisfaction of ruining the boys' fun and knowing how every other girl scored?"
Lizzy remained pensive for a moment.
"Okay, I'm in."
"Thank you girls for coming for our secret missions of 'how to steal the list from the boys'," Bebe said. "Does anyone have any questions so far?"
Sitting on chairs in Bebe's basement were Lizzy, Powder, Lola and Jenny. Lola suddenly raised her hand.
"Yes, Lola?" Bebe asked.
"Why is she here?" she said, glancing at Lizzy.
"Because it concerns every girl," Bebe replied.
"She's not even part of the committee!"
"It's not a committee mission anymore. The others would probably not even approve. We need her help more than ever!"
"An outsider could indeed be useful," Jenny Simons approved.
"You too Jenny!?" Lola exclaimed.
"Excuse me, but… I also have a question," Lizzy suddenly said.
"What is it Lizzy?" Bebe asked.
The girl in pink parka looked at Lola.
"Who the fuck are you?"
"What!? I'm Lola! I've been here since last year!"
"Oh, I missed last year! I'm Lizzy, nice to meet you, I guess."
"You…!"
"Please, let's calm down! We're all on the same side," Bebe said as she noticed Powder's raised hand. "Yes, Powder?"
"Why am I here?"
"Because it affects you too and you know about our plans. So you're now involved whether you want it or not."
"Ah."
"Anyway, as I was saying, we need to find a way to steal that list from the boys. Any idea?"
Powder raised her hand.
"Yes, Powder?"
"We ask them?"
"No, Powder. Anyone else? Yes, Lizzy?"
"We challenge them in exchange for the list!"
"Hm, maybe. Any other suggestion?"
"We kick them in the balls!" Lola exclaimed.
"A little radical but it could work. What else?"
"We could disguise a girl into a boy to infiltrate them and steal the list," Jenny proposed.
The girls all remained quiet for a moment.
"That's dumb. They'd never fall for it," Lizzy said. "Not with Bebe's huge boobs."
"Hey!"
"Obviously not Bebe, she'd never pass as a guy!" Lola replied. "Maybe someone else, like Powder…"
"Me!?"
"Powder would never pass as a boy! She's way too soft!" Lizzy protested.
"Then we need someone rude and vulgar," Bebe said. "Someone like…"
They all suddenly looked at Lizzy.
"What? Oh, screw you, I'm not doing that!"
"Come on Lizzy, you're the only one here who can speak grossly enough to pass as a boy," Jenny said.
"I don't look like a dude!"
"You're wearing a hoodie 24/7 we don't even know what you look like, and so did do the boys! It's perfect! Just wear a more masculine hoodie and they won't even notice," Bebe said.
"Well, they will notice an unknown 'boy' in there's mist…" Powder said.
"Ah… shit," Jenny said.
They were back at being silent. Then suddenly, Bebe's phone rang.
"Hello? Wendy? What's going on- What!? I'm on my way- Yes, Lola, Jenny and Powder are with me. We're coming right away."
Bebe put away her phone, a stern expression on her face.
"What's going on Bebe?" Lola asked, worried.
"It's… it's the boys," Bebe began, still shocked. "They are threatening to make their list public!"
The girls were in a state of panic in the meeting room, all talking at the same time.
"Silence everyone!" Millie ordered. "Wendy, explain from the beginning what you witness."
The latter was standing in the center of the room.
"As I said, I saw on Cartman's social media that the boys were planning to publicly show their list ranking every girl in the class tomorrow!" Wendy explained.
"They can't do that!" Red exclaimed.
"Yeah! If they want to do lists, they should at least respect the protocol!" Annie added. "Lists are not made to be public!"
The girls seemed to agree. Lizzy was also there, standing in a corner, sticking like a sore thumb.
"I don't get it. Did you want to know the ranking? Doesn't it solve your problem?" Lizzy said.
"Of course a non-member of the List Committee wouldn't get it," Lola replied. "It's not about knowing, it's about principle!"
"The boys have no right to shame us on our appearance publicly like that!" Wendy added. "Now we have to act!"
"Y-Yeah, it has nothing to do with how we ranked!" Bebe said.
"Listen, we may have a plan already. But it's still not perfect. We still need to fill the gaps," Jenny said.
"Please do tell," Millie asked.
"Lizzy is going to dress up as a boy and infiltrate their camp and steal their list. Only her can do it because she's rude and vulgar just like a guy!"
"What!? You're still on that!? No way I'm doing it!" Lizzy protested.
"The problem is, even if she can pass as a boy, they will most likely notice an unknown boy in their group. So we need to come up with a solution for this problem," Jenny continued.
"Don't fucking ignore me!"
"This sounds like a good plan indeed, but wouldn't work, unless… she takes one of the boys' place," Wendy suggested.
"The boys would recognize if one of them were to be replaced!" Lola argued.
"Not if it's someone we don't see the face, just like Lizzy…" Bebe said.
"Oh come on, I'm just wearing a hoodie!" Lizzy replied.
"Yes, a hoodie! There's a boy with a parka similar to yours! It's perfect!" Jenny exclaimed.
"But even if she takes his place, what do we do with the real one?" Nichole asked.
"Don't worry girls, I think I have just the right idea to get him… distracted for the night," Powder said with an unusual sinister voice.
Powder slowly approached her target, who was walking home, unaware of what was awaiting him. The young girl put her hand in her pocket, slowly getting closer to him, before pulling out what she had.
"Kenny."
The young boy turned back. Powder was holding two coupons.
"Oh. Hey Powder," he mumbled through his hoodie. "What's up?"
"Uh, well, it's a little embarrassing, but… I got those two coupons for a discount at the Raisins. But the thing is, they only work as a pair and… well, I can't really invite any of my girl friends, you know? They wouldn't understand or… accept it. And I'm scared to ask the other boys to come with me 'cause they would think I'm a slut. You don't think I'm a slut, do you Kenny?"
"What? Of course not! I love the Raisins! Anyone who thinks it's wrong is a mfffmmffff!"
Powder didn't quite understand the last word but she got the sentiment.
"Then, would you mind… coming with me to the Raisins?" she asked.
"Tonight? I… I'm kind of busy tonight…"
"Oh, I understand… it's just that… well it's gonna expire tonight so…"
"Really? Then screw my friends! Hoes before bros!"
Kenny took the coupon. Powder smiled to herself. All according to plan.
"Why do I have to do that again?" Lizzy said, now wearing an orange parka.
"Only you can pass as a boy and impersonate Kenny!" Bebe said.
"But I don't care for their stupid list…"
"Yeah but remember, you want to piss them off. Imagine their face when they realize you deceive them and managed to pretend to be their very close friend. There isn't a better humiliation. We can't let the boys win once again against us!"
"Ugh… fine."
"Great. Now for the last touch…" Bebe said as she pulled the strings tight enough to cover Lizzy's mouth up to her nose. "Now try to speak."
"Mmmmfffmmmfffffmmm."
"Perfect! The resemblance is uncanny."
"So what did Powder do with Kenny exactly?" Wendy asked.
"Oh, she just took him to the Raisins for the night," Red answered.
"Yeah apparently she has discount coupons there if she goes as a pair," Heidi added.
"Huh? Why would she have those? This place is exploiting and objectifying young girls!" Wendy replied.
"She said she got them from her brother," Annie explained.
"Yeah, sure. Her 'brother'," Lola said.
"Anyway, from my intel, the boys are reuniting at Clyde's house tonight. Here's the address," Bebe said, handing a paper to Lizzy. "Good luck. Your help is greatly appreciated."
"Yeah whatever. You'll owe me one. I'll text you if anything goes wrong," Lizzy said before pulling back the strings. "Mfffmmmffff!"
Lizzy readjusted one last time her hoodie before knocking at the door. It only took a few seconds for someone to come open the door.
"Oh Kenny, finally you're here. We were waiting for you!" Clyde said. "Come on in!"
Lizzy simply mumbled something as she stepped inside, shocked that the deception actually worked. Clyde led her in his basement, where all the other boys from her class were, minus the real Kenny, sitting in a circle around a table.
"Fucking finally you're there!" Cartman exclaimed. "Now we can get done with that fucking list…"
Lizzy sat down at the empty seat, assuming it was Kenny's.
"S-So, do we all agree t-that Red should be number 1 on the list?" Jimmy asked.
"I thought it was going to be Nichole," Token protested.
"Token, we already discuss that," Cartman replied. "A minority should be in the top 5 for equality, but cannot be number 1."
"That's bullshit! Nichole is the prettiest girl in the class!" Token argued.
"Nuh-uh, Red is way prettier than Nichole!" Kevin argued back.
"You're only saying that because you have a crush on her!"
"Shut up! You're the one biased because you still love Nichole!"
"Guys! Red cannot be number 1 either because she's a daywalker!" Cartman said.
"Oh for God's sake!" Kyle exclaimed. "Not this again…"
"Redhead girls are hot Cartman they aren't the same as redhead boys!" Clyde protested.
"Yeah, because they are succubi! You've been deceived, Clyde!"
"This is a list based on appearance so who cares if she's a succubus as long as she's pretty?" Craig intervened.
"Shut up Craig you're gay, you don't even know which girl is attractive!"
"Just because I'm gay doesn't mean I can't see beauty in girls-"
"Shut up homo!" Butters exclaimed.
"Hey, don't talk to my boyfriend like that!" Tweek yelled.
"Anyway, can we all agree Wendy should be at the bottom down of the list?" Cartman suddenly said.
"What? No!" Stan protested. "You're just saying that because you hate her!"
"And?"
"This list is supposed to be based on appearance, not on your personal feelings!"
"You're just saying that because you're dating that bitch!"
"Don't call my girlfriend a bitch!"
As the boys continued to argue, Lizzy realized something important.
"Holy shit, those fuckers didn't even make that list yet!" she thought. "The girls are all being worried for nothing!"
While the boys were still yelling at each other over which girl was the prettiest and which one was the ugliest Lizzy pulled out her phone and started texting Bebe.
"False alarm, the boys are still not in agreement on how to rank the girls in the class."
As she finished texting and hit send, Lizzy noticed that all the boys went silent and were now staring at her.
"What?" she mumbled through her hoodie.
"Huh, Kenny… since when do you have a phone?" Stan asked.
"Yeah, you're fucking dirt poor!" Cartman exclaimed.
"Now that I think about it, you've been awfully quiet this entire time Kenny," Kyle said. "You'd never miss an occasion to talk about girls!"
Oops.
"An evil clone!?" Kevin exclaimed.
"No, most likely an impostor!" Token said.
Lizzy put away her phone and stood up before untying the string so she could talk normally.
"You're totally right. You thought I was Kenny, but it's actually me, Lizzy!"
All the boys gasped.
"Wait, who again?" Butters asked.
"A girl from our class I think," Clyde replied.
"Yeah, the one who went missing for an entire year," Token.
"Wait, our class!? Shit, we're fucked! They will know the truth now!" Cartman exclaimed.
"Yep, I ruined your plan, you bunch of Butt Pirates! Haha!" Lizzy sneered.
"Where's the real Kenny? What have you done with him!?" Kyle asked.
"Oh, don't worry about him," Lizzy began with a sinister grin. "My bestie took real good care of him, hehe."
"Y, M, C, A!" the raisins girls sang while dancing.
"Y, M, C, A!" the customers sang back, cheering.
Kenny and Powder were both laughing and moving to the sound of the music, clearly enjoying themselves.
"Y, M, C, A!" they both sang, completely carefree and unknowing of what was going on right now.
"Now if you'll excuse me, my mission here is done. Seeya!" Lizzy said as she ran away.
"We can't let her get away with this!" Cartman said. "Clyde, where does your dad keep his gun?"
"Huh, in his closet," Clyde replied.
"Good, I'll go take care of that bitch," Cartman declared as he left the basement.
"Wait what?" Clyde said.
"Cartman wait!" Kyle said as he went after him.
Lizzy was running away from Clyde's house, heading for Bebe's place. She couldn't wait to finally get rid of this orange parka and put back her own clothes.
"What a big waste of my time… those boys a dumb a shit…"
Pow!
Lizzy suddenly felt a stabbing pain in her chest. She looked down and first noticed red staining the snow before the hole in her chest. Blood started to tainted her parka as she fell to the ground.
"F-Fuck… not… again… not… here… no…" she weakly said as she coughed up blood.
Everything went dark around her as her body became inert in a puddle of her own blood.
Cartman was still holding the gun, standing on Clyde's lawn.
"What the fuck Cartman!?" Stan exclaimed. "You killed Lizzy!"
"You bastard!" Kyle added.
"Dude, don't use my dad's gun to commit murder!" Clyde said.
"Guys, nobody fucking cares about her! I'm already starting to forget about it!" Cartman said. "Anyway, now we really have to finish that list."
"Why?" Craig asked.
"Because, if she texted the other bitches about the fact it's not finished, then we're in deep trouble!"
"But why?"
"'Cause I already said we made a list and that we were going to make it public tomorrow!"
"Why would you do such a thing you dumbass!?" Kyle yelled.
"To piss off the girls and get back at them for the list they did about us!"
"Cartman we don't want another gender war! That was supposed to be a private thing between us boys!" Stan replied back.
"Well now it's too late, so if we don't want to look like a bunch of idiots tomorrow, we better get our shit together and make that goddamn list!"
The other boys sighed.
"Alright guys, let's get going," Stan reluctantly agreed.
The next day at school, the girls were chatting. Lizzy never came back to Bebe's house.
"I got her message so I guess she just went back home," Bebe said.
"So we got worried for nothing huh," Wendy said.
"We should have known boys can't do list," Red added.
"Yeah. List-making is a girl thing after all," Lola concurred.
"So Powder went to the Raisins with Kenny for nothing huh," Nichole said.
"Y-Yep, seems like it," Powder replied.
"Move along stupid girls," Cartman yelled, running through the corridor. "I got the real list here!"
Holding a sheet of paper, Cartman was making his way to the billboard.
"What the hell? I thought Lizzy said they didn't agree on how to rank us!" Red said.
"Proof that we shouldn't have trusted her!" Lola declared.
"She did say they haven't agreed yet. Maybe they did now," Bebe said.
"Then why didn't Lizzy warn us?" Jenny asked.
"Maybe the boys did something to her!" Powder said, worried.
"Cartman, come back here you fat piece of shit!" Stan yelled, running after him, also holding a sheet of paper. "We didn't all agree to put Wendy last!"
"What!?" Wendy exclaimed.
"Screw you Stan and screw your girlfriend!" Cartman shouted.
"I won't accept a list where Red isn't number 1!" Kevin also yelled, rushing towards Cartman with his own list.
Red blushed at that comment.
The corridor was quickly invaded by all the boys in the class, all holding their own list and arguing with each other over which list was the correct one. None of them remotely seemed to agree on the ranking at all.
"Wow. Boys really can't make list huh," Bebe said.
"It's like they all have different tastes and preferences and can't seem to agree on how to compromise on them," Wendy said.
"Well, that's why list-making is totally a girls thing," Red concluded before looking away. "Oh hey Lizzy, where have you been?"
"Uhhh, it's a long story," Lizzy replied. "I see the boys still haven't agreed on the ranking huh… it was all for nothing..."
"Yep. Hey girls, let's go chat in the restroom before class began!" Bebe proposed.
"Yeah!"
I hope you enjoyed the second chapter! Please let me know what you think!
