The next morning Christina walked into her office early. She had a lot of paperwork to do, and it couldn't wait anymore. She also may or may not have been planning to go undercover at Leia's school with Damian, MJ, and Peter. That was just to make sure she wouldn't be bullied anymore. As well as have an actual high school experience. Christina was also planning her and Peter's eighteenth birthday party, and the mission to The Star Wars Galaxy. She had to leave thirty minutes later to reconnect with Damian, and then she got back to work. Damian walked in ten minutes after she did and just watched as she worked. She was working on a project for R and D and it was almost out of the planning stages. The project would allow emergency response to stop open wounds from bleeding in less amounts of time. The device was made of similar materials as her spider webbing. Damian pulled her out of her work, and to her lab to actually start making her project. She started it and with his help she finished a good chunk of it before her meeting. Her meeting was insanely boring. The department heads had gotten into a childish squabble about whose department was better. Resulting in a meeting that went on for thirty minutes after it was scheduled to end. Meaning she was bored, so she and Damian went to the training room. They sparred for an hour, and then went to the Avengers meeting. It went well seeing as four of the avengers were seventeen years old meaning the four older spiders. She was also sending Leia and Morgan on a trip to Florida, to go have fun for a little while. Everything was officially set up for school, and the first day was tomorrow. The seventeen year olds would be going as the Parker twins, Damian West, and Kari Michelle James. She approved a field trip for Midtown forgetting she would actually be in school, and would be going on the trip the week after next. She really hadn't gotten enough sleep that night. The time she and Damian could spend apart during the night had shortened to about eight hours. They could be apart from ten to six but had to reconnect by seven at the latest. The time apart during the day was nowhere near as lenient. They had only just got to thirty minutes with the spider healing working. If they didn't have a healing factor they would only be at about ten minutes. Once it was ten o'clock they each said goodbye, and went to their rooms. Damian's birthday was tomorrow as well and she was excited. He would be eighteen and two weeks after him she would be eighteen and they were planning on getting married for real in the eyes of the government and their family. The next morning Damian woke everyone up and made breakfast while they got ready for school. Leia was excited, but she didn't tell anyone that her siblings were coming to school. Christina put on a t-shirt, sweatshirt, and jeans, and then walked out to the kitchen. When she got there she hugged Damian, kissed his cheek, and then she brushed her hand across his wrist. He turned around from the eggs that were frying and returned her hug. Then he went back to cooking their breakfast. She helped him, and had the bacon ready in a couple minutes. They all sat down, ate breakfast, and then Damian drove Christina and Leia to school, while Peter took Morgan with him. They arrived on time, and saw their old classmates as well as Flash, their old bully. As soon as Flash saw them he did a double take and said.
"The poor Parker twins are back, why'd you leave, your aunt got tired of you." That was a mistake. Damian bristled beside Christina, and was almost ready to punch Flash when the bell rang. The first class of the day was chemistry which they already knew all of, and were entirely bored for the majority of. Their teacher Mr. Harrington, thinking they weren't paying attention, asked Christina a question. She of course answered it correctly, so he left them alone. Christina sat next to Damian who was holding her hand and tracing lines up and down her wrist. It was very distracting, and she couldn't focus on anything their teacher was saying. Flash noticed and tried to hit them with paper balls. They dodged every single piece, and it was making Flash irritated. Thankfully the bell rang, and they didn't have to see him again til lunch. At gym class they did the bare minimum knowing that if they showed too much effort, people would try to recruit them for all kinds of sports, and potentially find out about their alter egos. At the end of the day they just went home, and threw Damian a small birthday party. The rest of the week flew by and soon enough Monday came.
