Vince, Naruto, and the girls were training hard at Training Ground 7 under the supervision of Kakashi, Yugao, and Hayate. They were getting stronger and stronger at an astounding rate. Vince also helped with their training. Haku is now a combat Medic Ninja for Team 9, Pakura is now a Jonin Sensei for Konohamaru, Moegi, and Udon, and Yagura founded the Hidden Leaf Navy SEALs - a group of land and sea shinobi who travel the world and sail the oceans looking for pirates, bandits, and threats of all kinds. Inari attended the Academy and has a crush on Moegi.
"Good job, guys," Vince exclaimed. "Let's take a break for lunch."
"All right, Vince," responded Naruto.
"Good idea," Sakura replied.
They sat under a tree and ate a lot of good food.
"Boy, we've been busy, and the Chunin Exams are in three weeks," Vince commented.
"They certainly are," Sakura replied.
"Time sure flew by, huh?" mused Rin.
"It sure did, and I can't wait to tell stupid Sasuke that we're all Chunin and he never will be," Satsuki remarked.
"Yeah," Haruna agreed. "What a loser."
"You said it, guys," Ami said.
Yugito added, "I also heard that Ino is now training very hard since everything about Sasuke is a lie."
"That's good," Vince commented. "She needs to train hard. Fangirls are the scum of the Shinobi World."
Naruto responded, "That's a nice way to phrase it."
"I hate fangirls," Akiko added. "They make the rest of us kunoichi look bad."
"Can't argue with that, Akiko," Rin muttered.
An ANBU appeared.
"We're on our way, Captain Eagle," Vince responded. "Well guys time to go to work."
"You said it," Sakura responded.
They were at the Hokage's office in less than two minutes.
"Thank you everyone for coming in, guys," Minato said.
"No problem, dad," Naruto replied.
"We have a client who has a mission for you," Minato explained.
They saw a man with brown hair and aqua clothes who was from the Waterfall. It was Shibuki, the Feudal Lord of the Hidden Waterfall.
"It's a pleasure to meet you all," Shibuki noted. "I'm Shibuki, and I am the Feudal Lord of the Hidden Waterfall."
"Pleased to meet you, Lord Shibuki," Vince said. "I'm Vince Pusateri."
"I'm Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze," Naruto introduced himself.
"Naruto is my son, Shibuki," Minato explained.
"I believe it, Minato," Shibuki remarked. "He looks exactly like you."
"I get that a lot," Naruto admitted.
"I'm Sakura Haruno," Sakura said.
"I'm Rin Nohara," Rin said.
"I'm Ami Mitarashi," Ami said.
"Hello, I'm Yugito Nii," said Yugito.
"My name is Satsuki Uchiha," Satsuki said.
"And I'm her twin sister, Haruna Uchiha," added Haruna.
"And I'm Akiko Suzuki," Akiko added.
"It's a pleasure to meet all of you," Shibuki said.
"Your mission is to escort Shibuki back to the Hidden Waterfall," Minato explained. "He was here to discuss alliance treaty forms and to help benefit our villages."
"We'll get right on it, Minato," Vince promised.
"Thank you all," Shibuki responded. "You are welcome to come into the Village and look around."
"Thank you Shibuki," Naruto replied.
"All right guys lets move out," Vince ordered.
"You got it," Sakura nodded.
They left 20 minutes later. They were all walking through the forest in the Land of Rivers when Shibuki was scared by a noise.
Naruto rolled his eyes. "It's just some birds, Shibuki."
"I'm sorry guys, I'm really timid," Shibuki admitted.
"It's okay Shibuki," Vince reassured him. "We'll make sure nothing bad happens to you."
"Thank you all," Shibuki replied.
"We've arrived," Vince announced.
In front of them was a waterfall.
"It's a beautiful waterfall," Sakura noted, "and I'm guessing the village is behind it."
Shibuki agreed, saying, "That's right." "Follow me."
Shibuki led them behind the waterfall to a series of pools.
"These pools lead to the village," Shibuki explained.
Shibuki dove in.
"It's time to get wet," Vince declared.
They all dove and swam into a lake, and as they surfaced, they saw a giant tree in the center of the lake on an island that covered the entire village. It was definitely a beautiful sight to behold.
"Wow!" exclaimed Vince. "This village is amazing."
"It's a true secluded village," Sakura observed. "It's beautiful."
"There are only 9 secluded Villages throughout the 5 Great Nations," Ami explained, "and I have a feeling we'll see more of them soon."
"I agree," Vince answered. "Let's get to the shore and get dry."
They did so and decided to walk about.
"The shops are extravagant," Vince commented. "The forests of Saskatchewan, Canada, would be perfect for this village."
"It sure would," Naruto replied.
"Hey, look at this," Yugito shouts.
Yugito showed them something out of the ordinary. A sign with a red X over a bug was posted on the window of a store.
"This is a peculiar sign," Vince noticed.
"Yeah, it's on all the stores and restaurants," Ami confirmed.
"This is weird," Sakura commented.
"I wonder why," Akiko wondered.
They entered a grocery store.
"Hello?" Vince called out
"Oh, hello there," the storeowner answered. "What can I do for you all?"
"We have a question regarding that sign over there on your window," Vince explained. "Are you guys having an extreme roach infestation?"
The storeowner laughed and answered, "No, I wish we were. But that sign was put up there to keep out a Demon Insect we all hate."
"Demon Insect?" Naruto questioned. "What are you talking about?"
"GET OUT AND STAY OUT!" yelled a man. "YOU'RE SCARING AWAY ALL OF MY CUSTOMERS!"
They noticed a girl with mint-green hair and wearing white clothes flee the store.
"Sheesh, what was that all about?" Sakura wondered.
They noticed the man glaring angrily at the girl.
"Does this look familiar to you, Yugito?" Vince asked quietly.
"It certainly does, Vince," Yugito answered quietly. "She's a Jinchuriki, just like me, Naruto, and Yagura."
"We have to get her out of here," Naruto whispered quietly.
"Right," Vince answered quietly. "Thank you for your time, sir," he added loudly.
"You're welcome," responded the storeowner.
They left the store and decided to take another walk around.
"That girl is in a lot of danger here," Vince added.
"Yeah," Naruto agreed. "Her life is certainly worse here than Yugito and Yagura's."
"We have to get her out of here," Sakura added.
"But the thing is, where are we going to find her here?" Ami wondered.
Vince turned to face the Waterfall's Sacred Tree. "I think I know where she is. I have a plan."
Vince gathered everyone in a circle and revealed his plan to them.
After it was revealed they went to the Sacred Tree. They arrived at the base of the huge tree.
"She lives in the tree," Naruto explained. "I can feel her presence."
"Yep, and the only way is up," Vince responded.
Vince, Naruto, Sakura, Rin, Satsuki, and Yugito spread their wings, while Ami, Haruna, and Akiko ran up the tree trunk. They walked through a hole in the tree towards the top and found a major league run down cabin made of junk and all that.
"This is where that girl lives?" Ami inquired.
"What a dump," Sakura murmured.
"This is horrible," exclaimed Akiko. "The sooner we get her out of here, the better."
Come on, Vince commanded.
They approached the door, and Vince knocked.
"Go away! I'm sick and tired of you ungrateful and foolish idiots!"
"This is worse than we thought," Vince thought. He said aloud, "We mean no harm. We came all the way from Leaf Village just to get you out of here."
"How do I know you're not going to try to kill me like the others?"
"Because, like you, I am a Jinchuriki," Naruto explained.
"So am I," Yugito added.
The door opened, and the girl came out. "Oh wow! You're the famous Team Thunder Angel. I've heard so many awesome things about you all. My name is Fu."
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Fu," Vince said. "I'm Vince Pusateri."
"I'm Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze the 9-Tails Jinchuriki," Naruto said.
"I'm Sakura Haruno," Sakura said.
"I'm Rin Nohara," Rin said.
"I'm Ami Mitarashi," said Ami.
"I'm Yugito Nii the 2-Tails Jinchuriki," Yugito said.
"My name is Satsuki Uchiha," Satsuki said.
"I'm Haruna Uchiha, Satsuki's twin sister," Haruna said.
"And I'm Akiko Suzuki," Akiko said.
"It's a pleasure to meet you all," Fu said.
"Same here," Vince replied.
"How about I explain my background?" Fu proposed.
"Okay," answered Vince.
Fu led them into her cabin, where they sat and she told them her terrifying background.
"Fu that is really horrible!" shouted Naruto.
"These folks are monsters!" Fu cried out. "They hate me!"
Akiko was soothing her.
"These guys ruined her life," Akiko added. "We have to get her out of here right now."
"She's right," Sakura pointed out. "No one should ever have to go through something like this."
"I agree," Vince replied. "All right, let's get her ready."
"Thank you for getting me out of this dump," Fu said.
"You're welcome, Fu," responded Naruto.
"But first," Fu continued, "I need to get some things."
"Okay," replied Vince.
Fu walked down the tree and returned with what appeared to be a jug of water. She was also carrying a bunch of scrolls.
Fu said, "Okay, I'm ready."
"What's all this?" Vince inquired.
"This is the Waterfall's most powerful treasure," Fu explained. "The Hero's Water."
"So this is the Hero's Water I've heard about," Naruto commented.
"Yes," Fu confirmed. " It only comes from the Sacred Tree once every 100 years. Anyone who drinks it will have their Chakra increased tenfold. Maybe 1,000 times. The Hero's Water has gotten the Waterfall through the most difficult battles. However, drinking the Hero's Water comes at a terrible cost. Whoever drinks it will have their life cut short by the amount that was increased. They were all killed by the Water's effect rather than in battle. So they locked it away, hoping never to use it again."
"That's a deadly consequence," Vince remarked.
"Yeah," Rin admitted. "When you drink it, it puts a significant strain on the user's body and drains your life energy at an accelerated rate."
"That is terrible," Akiko exclaimed.
"No kidding," Vince said. "Are you ready to go Fu?"
"I am," Fu replied.
"Okay," Vince said. He takes out a scroll, unrolls it, and sets it on the ground. "Stand on the Seal array."
"All right," Fu responded.
Fu did so, and she entered the Scroll.
Vince tucked the Scroll away. "All right." He senses something. "Uh-Oh!"
"What is it?" asked Naruto.
"We couldn't have timed it perfectly," Vince admitted. "A squad of Waterfall ANBU is on their way."
"Let's get out of here!" Sakura shouted.
"Everyone stay close to me," Vince advised.
They gathered and Vince placed his left index and middle fingers on his temple, and as the ANBU arrived, they beamed out of there with Instant Transmission.
"Where did they go?" ANBU 1 wondered.
"Find them and bring our weapon back," ANBU 2 ordered.
They appeared within the village at night, near the Hidden Leaf's gate.
"We made it," Naruto declared.
"We certainly did," Vince added.
Vince pulled out the scroll and unsealed Fu.
"That was cool," Fu commented. "Are we in the Leaf?"
"Yes, we are Fu," answered Naruto. "From now on, this will be your new home."
Fu gratefully hugged Naruto. "Thank you so much, guys."
"You're welcome, Fu," responded Naruto.
"We were happy to help," Vince remarked. "Let's get to the Hokage and tell him everything."
"Okay, but first," Fu said.
She untied her headband from her arm and tossed it to the ground. She took out a Kunai and slashed through the symbol of the Waterfall.
"Goodbye, Waterfall Scum!" Fu yelled. "This is my resignation."
Fu reattached her headband to her arm. She had now completely severed her ties and loyalty to the Waterfall.
"Good for you," Vince commented.
They entered the Hokage's office.
"Welcome back team Thunder Angel," Minato said. "How did the escort mission go?"
"It was a success, Minato," Vince replied. "Shibuki got there without any incident. Also we've had a bonus scenario happen that caused us to do something crazy."
Fu approached them. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Lord Minato. I'm Fu, and I'm the 7-Tails Jinchuriki."
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Fu," Minato replied.
"You're a Jinchuriki, too?" Kushina asked.
"Yes," Fu answered. She burst out crying. "My whole life at the Waterfall was a complete nightmare! They all treated me like I was a plague and an outcast! I hate the Waterfall and I never want to go back there! I hate that village!"
Kushina came over to comfort Fu. "It's alright, Fu. It's all right."
"Fu's life has been a complete and total nightmare since she was five," Vince explained. "The Waterfall Council killed her mother and forced her to become the 7-Tails Jinchuriki in order to turn her into a weapon. Dumb moronic mules."
"That is just absolutely horrible," Minato exclaimed.
"Yeah," Naruto agreed. "People are just absolutely stupid and consumed by their own hatred, ignorance, stupidity and selfish desires and they don't care who to step on to get what they want."
"I agree with you there, son," Minato remarked. "You did the right thing by getting her out of there. But this could start a war between us and the Waterfall. They will try and get her back."
"Let them try," Vince warned. "We're not going to let the Waterfall get to her."
"That's right!" Kushina agreed.
"Fu, you are now a Leaf Shinobi," Minato declared. "You will be placed on Team Thunder Angel."
Fu sniffles a little. "Thank you Minato."
Minato smiled. "You're welcome Fu."
Fu was led to her room on the enormous Namikaze-Uzumaki estate, where she felt at home for the first time in her life.
Three weeks later, it was the day before the Chunin Exams began.
Team Thunder Angel was walking through the village.
"Well, guys, the Chunin Exams start tomorrow," Naruto began.
"Yep, and I can't wait," Vince answered.
"Me neither," replied Sakura. "This is going to be a challenge."
"I heard that we're in for quite a heck of a competition this year," Satsuki added.
"That's what I've been hearing, too," Akiko added.
Vince peered behind him and noticed a box-shaped rock with eyeholes in it. "Don't look now, but we've got a pet rock following us."
When they turned around, they noticed it.
"Nice try, Konohamaru," Naruto commented. "But we know it's you in there."
Konohamaru laughs. "You saw through my disguise yet again, boss."
The box exploded, and a massive cloud of smoke covered them.
Konohamaru, Moegi, and Udon emerged, coughing.
"Udon, I think you used too much gunpowder," Konohamaru commented.
"Sorry Konohamaru," Udon apologized.
"Hey guys," Sakura said.
"Hello, Sakura," Konohamaru replied. "What have you been up to?"
"We're walking around the village, preparing for the Chunin Exams tomorrow," Vince explained.
"Oh wow," exclaimed Moegi. "This year's competition is going to be intense."
"How's your training under Pakura going?" Vince inquired.
"Pakura-sensei is awesome," Udon replied. "She's taught us things we had no idea existed."
"That's great, guys," Fu said.
"We're proud of you," Naruto said.
"Thanks, boss," Konohamaru replied. "Also, those dumb buttfaces on the disbanded Civilian Council have reinstated Sasuke as a Shinobi, and he's been training in secret by some crazy ANBU in blank masks."
They all gasp.
"How did you find out about this?" Vince asked.
"We overheard Civilian Council members talking to Sasuke in a restaurant," Konohamaru explained. "They said they were going to train him in a secret location to make him powerful enough to murder you all. We saw the ANBU enter with blank masks and very little emotion."
"Danzo's Root ANBU," Naruto explained.
"Those fools!" screamed Akiko. "They're never going to learn."
"Yeah," Sakura agreed.
"We appreciate you telling us this, Konohamaru," Vince replied. "We've got to tell the Hokage and you'd better come with us to confirm what you saw."
Konohamaru nodded. "You got it, Vince."
Vince shouted, "Let's go!"
Team Thunder Angel, Konohamaru, Moegi and Udon went to the Hokage.
When the door burst open, Minato was discussing with the Jonin who would be attending the Chunin Exams.
"We're sorry to come in like this," Vince began, "but we have a situation here."
"What's wrong, Vince?" Minato asked.
"Konohamaru told us that Sasuke Uchiha was reinstated as a Shinobi by the disbanded Civilian Council and is getting secret training from Danzo's Root ANBU," Vince explained.
They gasped.
"Do you have any proof on this Konohamaru?" Lord Third demanded.
"I overheard it at a restaurant, and they were there with Sasuke," Konohamaru explained.
"I think I have a way to show us," Vince said. "We need to darken the room here. You'll have to trust me on this, Konohamaru."
"Okay," replied Konohamaru.
The room darkened as Vince placed his hands on the sides of his head. Vince's eyes were opened, and he projected everything from Konohamaru's memory about what he witnessed like a movie projector.
"That's really cool," Kakashi commented.
"This could be a very clever way to get information out of our enemies," Yugao speculated.
"That is cool," Hayate replied, coughing.
They saw and heard everything Konohamaru observed from his point of view, and when they were finished, they recognized everyone in the restaurant.
"Thank you for showing this to us," Minato concluded. "ANBU arrest all of those people for conspiracy, corruption, and high treason."
"Dad, I want to fight Sasuke in the Chunin exams," Naruto reasoned. "I want this to be exciting for all of us as I smear Sasuke's name in mud and humiliate him for the rest of his life."
"Ooh, my Prank Senses are tingling!" Kushina exclaimed.
Minato was laughing. "I know where you're headed with this son. "Go get him, son!"
"With pleasure, dad!" responded Naruto.
"Adding insult to injury," Vince commented. "Very brilliant."
They exited and resumed their walk.
"Hey boss, can we play Ninja with you?" requested Konohamaru.
"Sure, Konohamaru," Naruto responded. He takes out a fake kunai. "Go grab it!"
He tossed the kunai, and Konohamaru chased it, accidentally bumping against someone. It was Kankuro of the Sand.
"Ow!" Kankuro yelled. "Watch where you're going, you brat!"
He picked up Konohamaru.
They ran to him and saw the scene.
"Hey!" yelled Naruto. "Put him down right now!"
"Try to make me," Kankuro ordered.
Naruto pressed his sword blade on Kankuro's throat.
"Put him down now," Naruto growled menacingly.
Kankuro let go of Konohamaru.
"I had a feeling a bunch of shinobi from different villages would be there," Naruto said.
He sheathed his sword.
"I know you're in that tree, Sasuke," Naruto pointed out. "Get out of there right now!"
Sasuke came out, and he was snobby and arrogant as always. "You have a lot of nerve, Naruto. I'm going to kill you for killing my clan, and we're going to fight in the exams!"
"I'm looking forward to that," Naruto answered. "I assume you're here for the Chunin Exams," he added to the Sand Siblings.
"That's right. We've heard a lot about you, Naruto. My name is Temari, and this is Kankuro, my little brother."
"It's a pleasure to meet you both," Naruto replied. "Also, I'm guessing that's your friend in the tree behind me. Come on out, Shukaku!"
A sand cloud appeared, revealing a red-haired boy with no brows and a tattoo in the shape of the kanji for love on the left side of his forehead. It was Gaara the 1-Tail Jinchuriki.
Naruto thought to himself, "Whoa! He looks like he never slept even once in his life. I sense a huge energy imbalance in Shukaku's brainwave patterns. Something must have happened to him to make him an unstable Jinchuriki."
"So you've heard of me, Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze," Gaara answered.
"Yes," Naruto confirmed. "You must be the 1-Tail Jinchuriki."
"I am," Gaara acknowledged. "I'm Gaara of The Desert."
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Gaara," Naruto said. "I'm a Jinchuriki like you."
"I see," Gaara commented. "What number do you have?"
"Number nine," Naruto answered. "But I'm not like the other Jinchuriki."
"How so?" Gaara questioned.
"I never had to go through the same pain and suffering that all Jinchuriki go through," Naruto confessed.
"You're one lucky guy, Naruto," Temari observed.
"Thank you, Temari," Naruto replied. "Gaara, I sense a big energy imbalance in Shukaku. Let's all go to the park and work things out."
"What do you mean, Naruto?" Temari wondered.
"I'll explain along the way," Naruto promised.
They went to the park, and when Vince and the girls caught up with them, Naruto told them that Gaara is an unstable Jinchuriki because of something wrong with both the Sealing Jutsu that was placed on him and something wrong with Shukaku. Baki was with them, and he was the Sand Siblings sensei. This revelation terrified them.
Gaara was lying on a park bench, and Naruto was staring at his Seal on his chest.
"Whoever did this Seal did a really bad job," Naruto commented. "This is a 3-Trigram Seal that has been tampered with, and it is causing Shukaku to manipulate Gaara in some way. Other than Shukaku, I sense another presence inside Gaara."
"Are you sure, Naruto?" Baki asked.
"Yes, Baki," Naruto answered. "My energy sensing powers have never let me down. I'm going to have to enter Gaara's subconscious and destroy whatever is causing this."
"Can you do that?" Kankuro asked.
"We have to believe in him, Kankuro," Vince answered. "I taught Naruto and the girls here everything I know and then more."
"You're an amazing teacher, Vince," Temari added.
"Thank you, Temari," Vince replied.
"All right," Naruto responded, "here I go."
Naruto put his hands on Gaara's head and entered his subconscious. He was in the middle of a wide desert that seemed to go on forever.
"Gaara's mindscape is a vast desert," Naruto realized. "Shukaku is just ahead."
Naruto spread his wings and flew towards Shukaku's signal. He found him, and he was a big tan Raccoon.
"That's Shukaku, and he's a Sandstorm Raccoon," Naruto said. "Wait a minute."
Naruto noticed something unusual on Shukaku's head. It was an elderly man who was laughing like a homicidal maniac. Gaara was also trapped in Shukaku's paw and trying to escape.
"So that's it," Naruto concluded. "Shukaku is being controlled by that insane old man, which is why Gaara is an Unstable Jinchuriki and hasn't had any sleep at all."
Naruto flew towards the old man and punched him in the face with devastating force, knocking him clear out of Shukaku's head, and Shukaku returned to normal.
"What? What happened?" Shukaku wondered.
"You were under this mad old man's control, and he turned you and Gaara into savage, bloodthirsty monsters," Naruto explained. "Pun intended."
"Where is Gaara?" Shukaku wondered.
"I'm in your paw," Gaara answered.
Shukaku let Gaara go.
"Thank you, Naruto," Gaara replied. "I've read about that insane priest. Bunpuku, that's Shukaku's very first Jinchuriki. He was Shukaku's first Jinchuriki, and he was hated by the entire Sand, spending his entire life locked up."
"So he was caged like an animal forever?" Naruto frowned.
"Yes," Gaara confirmed. "But he went insane and vowed to destroy everything with Shukaku through Shukaku's future Jinchuriki. He's a total Homicidal Maniac."
"I believe it," Naruto answered. "They somehow imprisoned his evil spirit within you, driving you insane. He must pay for his crimes."
Naruto unleashed a powerful bolt of lightning at Bunpuku, causing him to explode into nothing.
"Give my regards to the Netherworld," Naruto murmured.
"Thank you, Naruto, for saving us both from that insane man," Gaara said, smiling.
"You're welcome, Gaara," Naruto responded. "I'll see you outside."
Naruto vanished. Back on the outside Gaara woke up.
"How are you feeling, Gaara?" Naruto asked.
"I'm better than ever," Gaara claimed. "Shukaku is no longer influencing me."
"That's great," Sakura enthused.
"It was an old man named Bunpuku who was controlling Shukaku, and he turned Gaara into an Unstable Bloodthirsty Jinchuriki," Naruto revealed.
They gasp.
"Bunpuku!" yelled Baki. "I thought we'd seen the last of him."
"Who is Bunpuku?" Sakura asked.
"He was Shukaku's first Jinchuriki, and he was a crazy man who wanted nothing more than to see the world burn," Baki explained.
"That's insane!" Fu cried.
Ami answered, "No kidding.
"I've heard legends about Bunpuku, but we don't know much about him," Kankuro pointed out.
"That's because everyone in the village hated his guts entirely, and it destroyed his mind," Baki explained. "We've all completely forgotten about him."
"That is pure evil," Naruto screamed.
"Naruto, we thank you for helping Gaara," Temari continued. "We also have some disturbing information."
"What's up, Temari?" Vince inquired.
"Kankuro and Gaara revealed that Orochimaru is planning an invasion at the Finals to destroy the Leaf with a joint attack with his villages the Hidden Sound and the Hidden Sand," Temari explained. "Orochimaru is also planning to assassinate the third and fourth Hokage."
This was startling, and they all went back to Minato and revealed the information they had learned. The entire Leaf Village was now on high alert, and all Sound Shinobi coming in were closely monitored at all times.
The next day, it was time for the Chunin Exams, and they went into a classroom for the first part: the Written Test.
"This is it, guys," Vince proclaimed. "We're going to become Chunin, defeat Orochimaru, and tarnish Sasuke's name."
"This is going to be good," Sakura predicted.
"When we're done here, Sasuke will meet his maker," Naruto said.
"You said it," Rin commented.
They were walking down the Academy's hallway when they came upon a group of teenagers blocking a door. They also noticed Neji, Tenten, Lee, and Haku standing near the door.
"Hey guys!" Vince yelled.
Team 9 noticed them.
"Vince, Naruto, Team Thunder Angel," Lee greeted. "How are you all doing on this youthful day?"
"Great Lee," Vince said. "How's your training going?"
"It's been brutal," Tenten admitted. "But Guy-sensei is teaching us a lot."
"I believe it," Vince said.
"How have you been, Lord Naruto?" Neji inquired.
"I don't like formalities, Neji," Naruto answered. "Just call me Naruto, and I'm OK, thank you."
"You're welcome," Neji replied.
"Have you been doing all okay, everyone?" Haku inquired.
"We're doing great, Haku," Rin replied.
"Just so you know, this is a genjutsu meant to weed out the weaker contenders," Akiko explained.
"Oh, I see," Fu responded.
Vince used genjutsu to walk up to the door. "Open the door right now so we can get through!"
"You don't understand. Those that have participated in these exams all have died."
"So leave now, while you still have the chance."
"Maybe I didn't make myself clear," Vince replies as he prepares a ball of Ki in his hand and aims it at the door. "Let us pass through here, or I'll blast the door down."
The "kids" were afraid, and the genjutsu was broken, allowing the doors to open. Vince dropped his arm and lowered the Ki ball.
"Thank you," Vince said.
"That was to weed out the weaker opponents!" Rin exclaimed.
"I know, but what fun would this be if we didn't have some decent competition?" Vince asked.
"Oh, you have a point," Rin acknowledged.
They entered the classroom and noticed everyone there.
"So you all made it here too?" Kiba asked. "Awesome."
"Good to see you, Kiba," Naruto remarked. "How have things been treating you, Shino?"
"It's been going well, Naruto," Shino replied. "I heard you all completed your first ever Triple S-Rank mission as Genin all by yourself."
Sakura responded, "You heard correctly, Shino.
"That's amazing, guys!" Kiba exclaimed.
Hinata joyfully hugged Naruto. "Naruto, that's incredible!"
Naruto replied, "Thanks Hinata.
"Naruto, it's been a while."
They saw a group of Cloud Shinobi. It was Karui, Omoi, Samui, and Killer B.
Naruto approached Samui and kissed her on the lips. "I missed you my Queen of Cool."
"And I missed you my King of Heat," Samui confessed.
"It's great you're all here," Naruto admtted. "Karui, Omoi you're doing good."
"Thanks Naruto," Omoi replied.
"It's great to see you again, Naruto," Karui said.
"Yo number 9 how ya doing this time of fine" Killer B asked and they fist bumped.
"Doing well, Number 8," Naruto replied. "Great on this fine date." He began to laugh. "I'm sorry, I couldn't resist."
"That's fine, Naruto," Killer B responded. "Are you excited for today's Chunin Exams?"
"We certainly are," Naruto replied.
"Killer B, it's fantastic to see you all again," Vince added.
"You, too, Vince," Killer B responded.
"Yugito!" yelled Karui.
Yugito and Karui hugged.
"It's fantastic to see you again, Karui," Yugito replied. "Omoi, Samui, you've both grown a lot since the last time I saw you."
"We miss you, Lady Yugito," Omoi added.
"I miss you all as well," Yugito admitted.
"You might want to keep it down. You're making a scene."
They noticed a kid with gray hair and glasses.
"Kabuto Yakushi," Vince thought to himself.
In his mind, Naruto said, "I had a feeling he was going to show up. Wait a second."
Naruto used telepathy to scan Kabuto's mind and saw a horrific past. He is a survivor of the Battle of Kikyo Pass during the Third Great War, from which he suffered amnesia. He was adopted by Nono Yakushi, a caretaker at the Hidden Leaf Orphanage, and Naruto discovered that she was indeed his biological mother. But she attacked Kabuto, forcing him to defend himself, and he fatally wounded Nono. Naruto noticed Orochimaru and Danzo doing this and made Nono not recognize him. Orochimaru took advantage of Kabuto's grief and hired him as his right hand man and spy.
Naruto thought to himself, "Whoa! Kabuto has had it much worse than any Jinchuriki or Orochimaru, as Jinchuriki and Danzo killed his family. We have to help him at all costs."
"I have information cards that can help you all," Kabuto explained.
Kabuto performed a demonstration.
"Give me info on Vince Pusateri, Naruto Uzumaki, and Gaara," Sasuke ordered.
Kabuto asked, "You know their names? That's not fun."
Kiba noted, "Naruto, I thought Sasuke was expelled from the Shinobi Corps because he attempted to kill you."
"He was Kiba, but those dumb Butteaters on the former Civilian Council reinstated him behind Dad's back, and he got secret training," Naruto explained.
"The Civilian Council has been arrested and imprisoned for treason, and they're on their way to the chopping block," Vince continued.
"Good riddance to bad rubbish," Satsuki murmured.
"Yeah," Haruna agreed.
"Kabuto, wait," Naruto urged. "I need to talk to you privately."
"Certainly Naruto," Kabuto agreed.
In the bathroom Naruto revealed everything he discovered and Kabuto was shocked. He immediately severed his ties with Orochimaru and vowed to stop Danzo and help the Leaf by whatever means necessary.
Ibiki Morino suddenly appeared. "All right everyone into the classroom."
"Hey brother Ibiki," Nartuo said. "Get any info from our scumbag friend Gato?"
Ibiki laughed and said, "We certainly did Naruto. He has a huge empire across the 5 Great Nations and hes done lots of ruthless and horrible things across the world."
"What a useless man," Naruto exclaimed. "Nice job torturing him."
"You said it, and thank you," Ibiki replied. "Get into the classroom."
The test began in the classroom after Ibiki explained the rules. As everyone was finishing up their tests, Vince turned on his infrared heat vision and saw the Chunin hidden in the walls, looking out over the participants.
"They've hidden themselves very well, but I can still see their body heat," Vince thought to himself.
Vince scanned the students and noticed that one of them had an unusually low body temperature.
"That's unusual," Vince thought.
Vince zoomed in and examined him and the Predator Triangle Target that was centered on him.
Vince had an audio analyzer bar appear on the left, which was linked to his telepathic powers.
"Soon, Sasuke, you'll be mine, and no one will be able to stop me once I get the power of the Uchiha, and then the Hidden Leaf, Minato, and Sarutobi-sensei will all die!" Orochimaru thought to himself. He began laughing maliciously.
In his head, Vince said, "That won't happen, Orochimaru. Your time has come, and you will pay for your crimes."
Vince's vision returned to normal.
Naruto scanned the minds of the other genin from different villages, as well as that of a girl from the sound named Kin Tsuchi, and found a horrifying past and lifestyle.
Naruto thought to himself, "That is completely sick and disgusting! Orochimaru ruined and destroyed the lives of so many innocent people, brainwashing them and subjecting them to inhumane experiments. The Hidden Sound is a village of barbarians and mutants who have no pity, guilt, or regard for the value of human life. Orochimaru, you will pay for everything you've done."
Naruto telepathically relayed everything he saw to Vince and the girls, as well as his friends, who were horrified, and he even sent a message to Minato and Hiruzen. He even told Kin telepathically that she should abandon the Sound and help to destroy Orochimaru.
The first test had been completed, and Ibiki played mind games with them. But everyone was too strong, and they all passed.
A black ball suddenly crashed through the window, and a flag was attached to the chalkboard. Anko walked in.
"Get ready, everyone, because the sexy Anko Mitarashi Namikaze has arrived!" Anko announced.
"Hi, sis," Ami said.
"Hey Ami," Anko called out. "Still learning hard I see."
"Oh yeah," Ami agreed. "Vince is a great teacher."
"He certainly is," Anko remarked. "Everyone passed? Ibiki, you're becoming too soft."
Vince asked, "How have you been, Anko?"
"Doing great Vince," Anko said. "Thank you for bringing Gato in to play with me. He was bawling like a baby."
Everyone laughed.
"I'm glad you're enjoying your new chew toy," Vince commented.
"I sure do," Anko replied, licking his lips. "And his blood was tasty."
"I'm sure it was," Naruto responded. "I wish I could cut off one of his legs and eat it."
"That's my future husband," Anko boasted.
Some people stood up and vomited all over the hallways.
"Naruto, you're incredibly sadistic," Sakura commented.
"I'm not as sadistic as Anko, but I'm right up there," Naruto admitted.
"You sure are," Fu added.
"That's excellent," Akiko exclaimed.
"All right," Anko said. "Meet me at Training Ground 44, everyone. Don't be late."
Anko smashed another window and left.
"Here comes the second test, guys," Vince announced. "Let's get started."
"You got it," Naruto said.
"Let's show 'em," Yugito urged.
