Sunday/Monday

They had church Sunday morning and then they went home and watched a movie. Sunday was the only day that they didn't have work stuff to do. They took this time to wind down, take a deep breath, and just have fun being kids. Dinner was around six o'clock, and then they did some light patrol. The next morning they had school. Christina woke up at six waking Damian up with her. She didn't know why her department heads wanted to wake up and have a meeting at the crack of dawn, but she went anyway. She got dressed in her business outfit, and went to go have Damian do her hair. Technically she could have professionals do it or do it herself, but she didn't like people who weren't her mom or Damian touching her hair. The other reason is she liked it when Damian did her hair for her. Damian braided the top part and put that part into a bun leaving the rest down. He always did half up half down styles because quote on quote. "Ari, I can't play with your hair when it's up." He said, once when she asked him about it. When he was anxious or couldn't concentrate well, he would braid and re-braid her hair over and over until he was focused again. The other reason was her hair was down past her waist as she hadn't ever had it fully cut just trimmed since she was a small child, and Damian thought it was beautiful. Once they were ready they went to the meeting room. The meeting was slow and boring. The heads proposed ideas, and they accepted the good ones then rejected the weird or bad ones. Like the military wanting weapons again. The meeting was over by six thirty. Thankfully it was a short one, as they had to leave for school at seven. When they got back to their bedroom they both went, and got changed into their school clothes. When they got to school. They went straight to homeroom as they were almost late. When they got to first period they were surprised to find that Flash was there instead of being suspended as the school had said he would be. His family still had a lot of sway over the school administration, and Principal Morita wouldn't do anything about it. They were surprised, but not completely. Their teacher droned on talking about finding x, and other algebra two concepts that they probably should have been paying attention to. Once the boredom was over they moved on to English. It was a subject that Damian and Christina both loved. That subject went well and then they moved on to Russian, a class that they helped the teacher with.

"Привет Мисс Дэнверс. 'Hello Miss. Danvers." The class said. Aunt Carol had decided to teach their class, so she could keep an eye on her niece.

"Добрый день, мои студентки." Good morning my students. She replied to her class. It was a rule in any Midtown language class, that you were not allowed to speak any language other than the one you were learning. Therefore every student must speak Russian in Russian class. This class went well for them as well, since they were very fluent in Russian. Then they finally had lunch. Christina was tired, and when she was tired she reverted to Russian. Since she was raised speaking it. When they had left the Russian classroom she hadn't switched back to English. So Damian didn't switch back to English either, and wasn't surprised when she asked,

"Дамиан, что для обед?" Damian, what is for lunch?"

"Я не знаю. 'I don't know." He replied.

"Я ду́маете его жареная курица с рисом. I think it's grilled chicken over rice." He replied

"Хорошо. Ok." She replied back as they entered the cafeteria. Turns out Damian was right. They got their food and sat down at their usual table.

Then they waited for Peter and MJ. Peter showed up a few minutes later with MJ and they all started talking. In Russian, because Christina and Damian were both tired, and still were talking in Russian. Peter had caught on quite quickly and told them to take a nap when they got home. Christina replied that he should talk to her and Damian's department heads, and tell them to stop arranging meetings at the crack of dawn. Peter agreed, and told Karen to tell them that meetings were three o'clock and later from now on. They finished their food quickly, and then waited for the bell to ring. Then when it rang they went to their lockers to grab their gym bags. Gym was dodgeball, a game that had earned all of the spiders deepest disdain even though they were all good at it. It earned that because it made their senses go haywire tingling every five seconds. It was very annoying. The game lasted for fifteen minutes. Until their gym teacher decided that they were going to run like civilized human beings, on the track. It was situations like these that being a teenage spider and speedster was not the best. Christina had to focus very hard not to use her superspeed, because she used it all the time when she ran. Thankfully her tiredness made it easier to run slower. The rest of the school day went well, and soon they were on their way back home. Anakin had finally made it to earth and so after a nap they would be trained more by their masters. Anakin would be would be training Damian, Ahsoka would be would be training Christina, and Obi-Wan would be would be training Peter. They were really all being trained by everyone. Once they pulled into the parking garage they headed upstairs. Damian and Christina went to their room and fell asleep. While Peter went to deal with the department heads.
