It all starts with J.D. looking things up on the computer. He was using an app that detects volcanic and seismic activity. Something caught his eye in Washington state.

"Uh-oh," J.D. exclaimed. "Earthquakes in the small town of Dante's Peak."

He looked at a satellite map and saw that the entire town is situated right next to a volcano that is set to erupt within the next 24 to 72 hours.

J.D. gasped. "This is bad! We got to move."

J.D. slides down into the Living Room, where the Loud Kids, Naruto, and the girls, Dawn, Jeri, Jessie, Joan, Varie, Aylene, and Vince are playing games, reading books, and playing card games.

"Guys, we have a volcanic destruction alert in Washington state," J.D. explained. "A small town named Dante's Peak is in grave danger."

"What's wrong?" Sakura asked.

"Dante's Peak is a small town with a volcano 2 miles northeast of it that's going to blow within the next 24 to 72 hours," J.D. explained.

"What?!" shrieked Varie. "Why haven't they left yet?"

"It says here that evacuation orders are being made," J.D. responded. "We have to go there and help them. Who wants to join me?"

"I'll gladly help partner," Vince offered.

"I had a feeling you would," J.D. replied.

"I'll go with you," Lincoln said.

Linka affirmed, "Same here."

"I'm in," Fu declared.

"I'll join you," Sakura responded. "Some people may require medical help as well."

"I'll join you," Naruto responded.

"I'll pitch in as well," Hinata added.

"Me, too," Tenten said.

"I'll go with you," Ino responded.

"I'll pitch in as well," Lily responded.

"I'll join you," Laney said.

"I'll come with you," Lucy said.

Dawn affirmed, "Same here."

"I'd want to pitch in as well," Marie added. "This will show that I'm on the path to redemption."

"I'm coming as well," Varie added.

"Me, too," Carol added.

"Wow," J.D. exclaimed. "I've got a lot of volunteers. All right let's go."

They took off for Washington State and arrived in an hour.

The entire town was crammed into the high school gymnasium, and the streets were deafeningly quiet.

"It really is quiet here," J.D. observed.

"It's an evacuation meeting," Varie clarified.

Then, without warning, a massive earthquake shook the area.

"It's begun," J.D. declared.

The Volcano erupted less than a minute later.

It was an incredibly intense sight, with ash clouds and rocks rising high into the sky.

"WHOA!" shouted J.D.

"Unbelievable!" exclaimed Vince.

"That is one of the scariest things I've ever seen," Lincoln concluded.

"No kidding," J.D. agreed.

"This is not good guys," Carol pointed out.

"Yeah," Fu agreed.

"All right guys, we have to evacuate everyone inside a 20-mile radius of the volcano," J.D. explained. "Help as many people as possible. Go up the volcano and help people get down. Let's go, people! Let's go, let's go, double time, let's go!"

They split up and rescued as many people as they could as the earthquakes worsened. The sky was darkening as a dirty thunderstorm formed due to the volcanic ash plume. Lightning was illuminating the ash clouds, and ash was snowing down. The entire town was in grave danger. Many people were trying to leave by car, while others were running on foot. The town was collapsing and everything was being destroyed.

Varie was getting people out when she noticed a little girl crying on the porch of a blue house, holding a kitten.

"Are you all right?" Varie inquired.

"No," the little girl sobbed. "My parents are gone and I'm scared. Lila and I are afraid."

"It's all right, sweetheart," Varie assured her. "Everything is going to be okay.

"Varie!" yelled Naruto. "We're going to that hotel over there for shelter."

"All right," Varie said. "You'd better come with us," she told the girl.

"Okay. I'm Claire."

"It's a pleasure," Varie said. "I'm Varie."

Claire joined them.

Fu and Sakura descended from the Volcano, accompanied by an elderly woman and her dog, Ruffy.

They met Paul Dreyfus, Stan, Nancy, and Greg in a hotel room full of seismographic and computer equipment.

"Oh, my goodness," Paul gasped.

Claire was still crying while Varie comforted her.

"What's going on out there?" Ruth questioned.

"Ruth, that mountain is a volcano, and it's going to destroy the entire town with the fury of Mount St. Helens," Sakura explained.

Ruth was shocked. "What?"

"Varie!" J.D. yelled.

"In here," Varie answered.

J.D. and the others arrived.

"Everyone has been evacuated," Lincoln added.

"Wait a minute, where are Rachel, Lauren, and Graham?" Ruth asked.

On the radio, someone said, "Paul? Paul it's Harry. Can anyone hear me?"

"I've got it," J.D. said, picking up the radio. "Harry? We hear you. My name is J.D. Knudson. Me, Varie and my friends here came and got everyone within a 20-mile radius out of the town."

"You saved this entire town from destruction, J.D., and we owe you all a lot," Harry replied. "Where is Paul?"

"He's right here," J.D. said, passing him the radio.

"Harry, where are you?" Paul asked.

"We're up at Mirror Lake at the lodge," Harry replied. "The road is down, but we're fine."

"This is turning into something truly catastrophic," Paul cautioned. "I'll dispatch the helicopter as soon as the ash clouds clear."

"Listen, Paul, get the hell out of there before it's too late, okay?" Harry replied. "Don't wait for us."

"Let me talk to him," J.D. offered. Paul hands over the radio. "We're going to come up and get you, Harry, so hold on tight. Are Rachel, Graham, and Lauren with you?"

"Yes, they are," Harry confirmed. "Graham and Lauren went up the mountain to find Ruth. Where is she?"

"She's right here in the hotel room with us," J.D. explained. "She and her dog Ruffy are both fine. Fu and Sakura brought them down. Just hang in there, Harry. We're on our way."

"Thank you so much, J.D.," Harry expressed gratitude.

"You're welcome," J.D. replied as he turned off the radio. "Varie, you get everyone out of here at sunrise. When the ash stops, Vince, see if there's anything worth saving in town."

"You got it," Varie answered. "Be careful."

"You can count on me, partner," Vince replied.

"Fu, Sakura, Naruto, you three come with me," J.D. ordered. "Let's go!"

They took off and flew towards the Volcano. Over the forests, they saw the road was gone.

"A rockslide took off the road," J.D. explained. "No wonder."

They then noticed several trees on fire due to lava flows, and the entire lodge was on fire.

"The lodge is on fire!" shouted Sakura.

Fu points to the lake. "Look. On the water, there are waves. They must've taken a boat onto it."

"Maybe, let's move!" J.D. yelled.

They flew over the lake and noticed that it was green and that all of the fish were dead.

"All of the fish are dead," Naruto observed.

"This is not a good sign," J.D. noted. He takes out a beaker and pours some water into it, discovering that it is acidic. "Volcanic activity has turned this water acidic."

"They went on an acid lake?" Naruto wondered.

"That's crazy!" cried Sakura.

"Let's go!" declared J.D.

As they flew farther, they noticed a boat heading for a nearby dock, with someone paddling with something.

"That's them!" shouted J.D. "Come on!"

"SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!" yelled Naruto.

Naruto summoned four Shadow Clones, who flew toward the boat and snatched up the passengers.

J.D. recognized them and remarked, "It's Harry, Rachel, Graham, and Lauren."

They arrived at the shore and examined them.

"Are you Harry?" J.D. asked.

"Yes," Harry confirmed. "My name is Harry Dalton, and I'm a volcanologist."

"It's a pleasure to meet you," J.D. said. "I'm J.D. Knudson."

"My name is Sakura Haruno," Sakura introduced herself.

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze," Naruto introduced himself.

"And I'm Fu," Fu added. "I don't have a last name."

"We've heard so much about you all," Rachel added. "Is the entire town evacuated?"

"Yes," J.D. confirmed. "The whole town has been evacuated. Ruth and Ruffy are staying at the hotel, and Varie has everyone leaving at sunrise."

"Thank goodness," Graham expressed relief. "We thought they died in the lava."

"No, they didn't," Naruto responded. "Now we have to get you guys out of here."

"Yeah," J.D. agreed. "I sense a bigger eruption on the horizon in the next 12 hours."

"Yeah," Naruto nodded. "I can feel it. Let's go, guys."

They snatched them up and flew towards the site where Varie, Vince, Carol, Lincoln, Linka, Laney, Lucy, Lily, Marie, Hinata, Ino, Tenten, and Dawn were. The National Guard was called in, as were FEMA and the American Red Cross.

J.D., Naruto, Sakura, and Fu were carrying Harry, Rachel, Graham, and Lauren when the Volcano erupted with a massive Lateral Eruption just as they arrived in town.

"WHOA!" shouted J.D.

"Take a look at that!" cried Varie.

"Let's hightail it, guys!" shouted J.D.

They flew out of town barely in time as Pyroclastic Clouds raced down the volcano at breakneck speed, completely destroying the town.

They landed by Varie, Vince and team.

"J.D.!" exclaimed Vince. "Thank goodness you're safe, man."

"Yeah," J.D. agreed. "That was intense."

"J.D!" yelled Varie.

Varie kissed him and hugged him.

"Thank heavens you're okay," Varie remarked.

"J.D., you have no idea how grateful we are that you saved Dante's Peak," Rachel added.

"I'm glad we could help Rachel," J.D. replied.

"Claire!" yelled Lauren.

"Lauren!" shouted back Claire.

Lauren and Claire hugged, and it turns out that Claire and Lauren are best friends at school.

"What happened to you, Claire?" Lauren asked.

"My parents are no longer alive," Claire explained. "I have nowhere to go."

Rachel overheard this. "You poor thing."

"Rachel?" questioned J.D. "What are you going to do now? Are you going to rebuild Dante's Peak from the ground up, or will you leave and live somewhere else?"

"We're going to move," Rachel revealed.

"That's a wise decision," Laney replied. "Over the centuries, volcanoes have destroyed everything and hurt and killed many people."

"Yeah," Carol agreed. "Volcanoes only destroy because of intense pressure."

"This was absolutely horrifying," Marie exclaimed. "I can't believe how powerful volcanoes are. Were there any fatalities?"

"No," J.D. answered. "We got everyone out safely with no casualties. However, some people have suffered severe injuries. Seattle has built a shelter for everyone."

"That's good," Graham responded. "Now we can all recover and move on."

"Thank goodness," Ruth murmured.

"I'm just glad that everyone is okay," Hinata added.

"Me, too," Ino replied. "But let's look over the injured and see if they need any help."

"Right," Sakura agreed.

Later, in Seattle, they were looking over the injured, and there were a lot of people who were hurt.

"Claire?"

Claire saw a woman with brown hair. "Mommy!"

She hugged her mom and cried hard.

"Are you Claire's mom?" Varie asked.

"I sure am. I've heard nothing but good things about you, Varie. I'm Heather."

"It's a pleasure to meet you," Varie replied. "This whole catastrophe has left Claire scarred for life."

"I know," Heather conceded. "We don't have a place to live anymore. It's all gone."

"There are a lot of new houses going up in Royal Woods, Michigan," Varie commented. "I think it would be perfect for you all to start over there."

"That's a fantastic idea," Heather responded. "We have nowhere to go."

After everyone had recovered, a press conference was held in Washington, D.C.

"Good afternoon, everyone," J.D said. "I'm sorry for interrupting your activities again but less than 24 hours ago, a massive volcanic eruption of Mount St. Helens strength completely destroyed the little town of Dante's Peak in Washington state. The volcano erupted with a powerful level 6 eruption on the Volcanic Explosively Index chart, and the entire town was destroyed. Me, Varie, and my friends Vince Pusateri, Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, Fu, Hinata Hyuga, Ino Yamanaka, Tenten, Dawn, and the Loud siblings all responded to this disaster and got everyone out. There are no casualties, but the entire town of Dante's Peak is a total loss. The evacuation warnings arrived too late, causing widespread panic throughout the town. That volcano completely destroyed the entire town, and there is nothing left of it now."

A newspaper article detailed the entire disaster, and it was terrible. The volcano now bears a striking resemblance to Mount St. Helens, and the entire southwestern side of the volcano's summit was completely blown apart in a powerful lateral eruption. This means that the volcano will be dormant for the next few thousand years.

The people of Dante's Peak have moved to Royal Woods and Detroit, and they have found a new home.
