Hey everyone, sorry if last chapter was just a note. This is the next chaper of the Lu Bu arc, now we will have a fight and see how the straw Hats handle against an army that is to a part of Lu Bu. Let's see what happen now.
The Straw Hats were now on the position that the man from Lu Bu told them to be. Some of them thought this could be a trap, but Luffy felt that the way Lu Bu was he was a person that wouldn't do cheap tricks and trap his enemies. The moon was near the center so they would be battling pretty soon.
Most of the Straw hats were all calm while the rest were shaking like nervous.
''Ok, they should arrive at any moment.'' Said Luffy
''Why did you agreed on this Luffy?" Asked Nami
''We were supposed to be on vacation! Or at least not get into a fight for at least a month!' Said Usopp all annoyed.
''Yes, can't we catch a break?" Asked Carrot.
''Its kind difficult to say but I think he wasn't a true fight. So let's give him one.'' Said Luffy.
''Good choice captain.'' Said Zoro.
''We just kick their ass and take names. It should be quick.'' Said Sanji.
''But he appear to have a powerful army.'' Said Nami.
''Plus he looked like someone that has never lose a fight before.'' Said Jinbei.
''We faced those types before. Its quicker if we go to the head.'' Said Zoro.
''Yeah, so relax and have a drink.'' Said Sanji drinking some handmade lemonade.
''HOW CAN YOU ALL BE SO CHILLED!' Scream Usopp
Soon they felt the ground shake and they figure it that must be Lu Bu army.
The crew saw on the East side the army with the huge man at front.
''Straw Hat! It's time for us to battle.'' Said Lu Bu
Luffy just adjust his hat and walks towards Lu Bu, they were still on a good distance at each other so they could speak.
''Alright, my crew against your men. Let's see who will win!'' Said Luffy.
The energy and battle hungry that Luffy had made Lu Bu grim, finally an opponent that wasn't afraid of him or give up. There it was a 19 year old with more courage than half of the trespassers that he had annihilated.
''I like where this is going.'' Said Zoro putting his bandana.
''Yes, this will be a coll fight!'' Said Sanji.
''Its my first battle as a crew member! I can't wait to write it down.'' Said Yamato.
''Be calm Yamato-kun, focus on your enemy first.'' Said Jinbei.
The pirates were preparing to fight, meanwhile Lu Bu was just seeing them.
''I never fought enemies like this. I heard of those fish people, but they never set foot on the island before, it will be a pleasure to see what they are capable too. Most of these people are impressive especially the green haired man, but I wonder what kind power the Straw Hat boy had. Fights like this are the reason of why I want to keep going!'' Thought Lu Bu
The army just smile at this, they could feel their general all happy and excited for a battle. Something that hasn't happen in years, seeing Lu Bu fully excited to battle is a pleasure for them.
''I am touched! My lord has found opponent worth his interest. I do hope they measure what he wants! This will be the first time in ages that my lord has smile in the battlefield.'' Thought Chen Hong all happy.
''Raise your weapons!" Scream Lu Bu
''Yes sir!" Scream his soldiers.
''Sounds like we are going to have some kind of competition. This shall be fun.'' Said Sanji.
The warrior of Lu Bu looked at the Straw Hats as their next target, their leader was up froant and ready to charge.
''Attack!' Scream Lu Bu
The Straw hats saw the army coming towards them. Only Nami, Usopp and Chopper were terrified by that while the rest looked a bit curious of what was going to happen.
''So what do we do?" Asked Carrot.
''Should we use Haki?" Asked Yamato
''No, these guys are probably like foot soldiers. We would cause an earthquake over the numbers of people fainting.'' Said Zoro.
''No haki? Not fair.'' Said Luffy with a pount.
''Oh really, after what you could do we are safe to say that people can stay a little bit up.'' Said Sanji.
''i will control it. Maybe Jinbei can teach me.'' Said Luffy.
''I appreciate the idea Luffy-kun, but you surpassed me a long time.'' Said Jinbei.
Soon the army of Lu Bu was getting close and the cowardly trio were shaking pretty much, while the rest were all calm.
''Luffy they are approaching.'' Said Usopp trembling.
''Just a second I am thinking of a badass shout.'' Said Luffy
Luffy saw Lu Bu and his face of determination, he looked like someone that wanted a damn good fight and luffy might be the one to give what he wanted.
Once they were 2 Kilometers near them Luffy decided to just show a little bit of Haki, just as a form of good sport.
''Just a little bit.'' Thought him with a smirk as he released a bit of Conquerors.
Lu Bu man were starting to fall down a little bit, almost like they were seeing the presence of a god and they were losing conscious.
''What was that? Its like a presence of the gods.'' Thought him.
The man on front were looking like they were about to pass out while the ones at the back were still at full force.
''My lord was that?" Asked Chen Gong.
''It was him.'' Said Lu Bu.
''Huh?" Asked Chen Gong.
''He is…interesting.'' Said Lu Bu.
Soon Luffy was ready to fight and he had come up with the perfect shout.
''Lets kick ass!" Scream Luffy
''that's the best thing you come up with!' Scream Nami.
''Whatever let's break some skulls!'' Said Zoro preparing his swords.
The Straw Hats soon went to attack the Lu Bu army. After dealing with Kaido and Big Mom some random guy army meant nothing, now that Luffy is an emperor they were a force to be feared.
Zoro went up and used the new Three Sword Style with his Conquerors Haki being put into use. He managed to take out so many people at once that not even he was able to keep count. While he was having fun fighting the random soldiers he ended up going to the wrong direction as always.
Nami sed her new clime tact with Zeus and she ended up causing new thunder storms. Electricity everywhere and she was making some clouds to stay out of grasp of any attack.
Usopp was using his pop green everywhere. His plants were attacking the Lu Bu army and they were having a hard time destroying the plants. The sniper was using all he could plus some new ideas in order to end the trouble.
Sanji was kicking the soldiers with no problem. Now with his fire released he was pretty much unstoppable and kicking all the way with no change of stopping any time soon. He hated to admit but since he discovered what he really is he felt more powerful than he ever felt before, however he would never admit that.
Chopper was on his kung fu point mode and doing what he could. He didn't want to use monster point since this would be over killed. He was doing some good moves that he learned while in Wano with the minks. He was really showing strength and agility for the doctor of the crew.
Robin was using her usual devil fruit powers and cracking bones left and right. She was also making clones and crushing the soldiers with the giant hands move, she was pretty munching doing what she could without breaking a sweat.
Franky was using ultimate fire power. With rocket launchers and all kinds of fire arms the shipwright was screaming SUPER all over the place making soldiers left and right to fly into the air and not have any kind of problem.
Brook was using his swordman skills to great use. He was almost impossible to see, a trail of ice was being left behind from where he goes and the soldiers were having no such luck in dealing with his attacks. Despite the numerous skulls jokes they could all agree that brook was one hell of a fighter.
Jinbei was using FishMan karate to great use. Fling the man to 360 and making them get down and pretty much breaking a ton of bones. He was not killing them but he wasn't making things easy because that's not the type of fishman that he is.
Carrot was using her electro. Making the man fall down and pretty much be down for the count. She was fast and pretty good with her claws, even when a solider grabbed the mink her fur managed to shock them.
Yamato was using her club to whack people over and over again. She was not letting those guys get the best out of her. She was finally free and now it was her chance to have a big adventure like Oden did.
At last, Luffy was using Gomu Gomu no of all kind. He went charging at the army like a lunatic. However, this was his way of fighting so he wasn't going to change anything about that.
The men of Lu Bu were soon getting shorter in numbers. They had a reasonable army at their disposal and right now they were almost with 100 men.
''These people are not normal. They are truly the most powerful foreigners I have ever seen.'' Thought Lu Bu
The general decided to bring his big weapon and this is where the real fun was about to start.
Lu Bu went towards Luffy and with a great amount of speed he hit the pirate right at the stomach with his weapon, a halberd name Sky Piercer.
Boom
''Ouch!'' Said Luffy feeling that even though the thing didn't have any haki.
''You are impressive kid. Few survive facing my army at once, you got guts.'' Said Lu Bu with a smile.
''Well that's the type of life that I like to live.'' Said Luffy also with a smile.
The two soon locked eyes at each other with both battle hungry looks. Everyone could see that their leaders what about to fight and this was about to get good.
''Woah. Luffy is going to get the big guy himself.'' Said Usopp shivering
''You can say that he is a magnet for those kind of people.'' Said Sanji with a smirk.
''Yes, unfortunately.'' Said Nami facepalming
Lu Bu soon went out of his horse and hit the floor. He was about to have a true fight against a worthy opponent after God knows how many years. He crackled his neck while Luffy crack his knuckles.
'That's not very good for the bones.'' Said Usopp.
''Do you think they care for that?" Asked Zoro
''Luffy-domo should take good care of his bones, otherwise he will end up like me Yohoho.'' Said Brook
Luffy soon stretch his arm and went towards to hit Lu Bu
''Gomu Gomu no Jet Gatling!' Said Luffy going foward
The general actually managed to blocked most of his attack with Sky eater and some good reflexes.
''He is fast, but he is not using Haki!'' Thought Luffy
''Its that all kid? I thought you were made of tougher stuff!'' Said Lu Bu
Soon Luffy spit some blood and gave Lu Bu his signature grim. He then stretched his arms and prepared a new attack.
''Gomu Gomu no bazooka!' Scream Luffy hit Lu Bu right at the stomach.
''Argh!' Scream the general.
The attack left Lu Bu a bit hurt and he was impressed by that.
''You actually broke some bones of mines. I even forgot how that felt like.'' Said Lu Bu
''My lord let our medics look at you.'' Said Chen
''Stay out of this!'' Said Lu Bu
The general looked at Luffy with a big grim that he had in years. That what he was looking for a worthy opponent.
''You are strong Straw Hat. For that you shall be taste the attack that made me such a terrifying figure in this lang.'' Said lu Bu raising his weapon.
Luffy just saw the halberd being raised and for some reason his Haki started to act all nuts.
''What is this?" Asked Luffy
''You don't know what a really attack is like…not until it has reach the heavens.'' Said Lu Bu
Soon the general used all his strength and speed into his next attack, the one that made so many run in fear of him. The attack that could split the sky even without haki.
''SKY EATER!' Scream Lu Bu
Luffy managed to dodge that attack by a inch, however he still got a hit by a good amount of that. It was like being hit by Kaido Kanabo again. Howeber it wasn't full of spikes or haki, but still hurt a lot. He would get some cuts later.
''AAAAAAAAAH!'' Scream Luffy actually feeling pain and coughing some blood.
''Luffy!'' Scream the Straw Hats in horror.
The crew felt in shock as Luffy was sent away by the general attack.
Lu Bu felt that this was the end, no man would survive Sky Eater from that close range.
'This was a worthy fight, but I wish that it could have been longer.'' Thought Lu Bu
''My lord is victorious! I knew it. Feast on the power of Lu Bu mere pirates and….'' Said Chen boasting his general power, but Luffy soon got up.
''THAT HURT!" Scream Luffy.
''He is still alive!' Scream the Lu Bu Army in shock.
''You are still breath.'' Said Lu Bu in amazement.
Soon Luffy went to Lu Bu and wrapped him with his arms, making sure he couldn't escape.
''Uh…'' Said Lu bu in shock.
'Try to attack now you jerk!'' Said Lufy
'He wrapped me like a snake.'' Thought Lu Bu
''Now taste this!" Said Luffy angry.
Soon Luffy stretch his neck all the way down, almost a kilometer of a distance and he put some armament haki on his forehead.
''Take this Gomu Gomu no…'' Said Luffy preparing the attack.
''My lord!' Said Chen in fear.
''I will not run away. I will take the attack head on!' Scream Lu Bu.
''Bell!' Scream Luffy hitting Lu Bu face with his forehead and that was a powerful move that many could hear.
BOOM
The attack made both Luffy and Lu Bu go down. The general had his face a bit bloody up while Luffy felt a little bit of headache
''Urgh!'' Said Lu Bu covering his face.
''OUCH!'' Said Luffy annoyed.
The two sides were now horrified. Both of their leaders were down, not for long they would get up soon but they didn't know what was going to happen next.
''Luffy!' Said Nami nervous.
''Lord Lu Bu!"' Said Chen
Then the most shocking started to happen. Both Lu Bu and Luffy started to laugh together like they were old friends.
''Ha Ha Ha Ha.'' Laughed Lu Bu
''ShishiShiShi.'' Said Luffy
''HÁ HÁ HA HA!' Laughed Lu Bu
''ShishiShiShi.'' Laughed Luffy
Both sides didn't know what was going on. The Straw Hats pirated were very confused as much as the Lu bu army. Soon both their leaders started to get up and brush off their wounds.
''Boy, I never so much fun in years.'' Said Lu Bu
''Yes, I felt that you wanted a good fight so I gave you. Did that satisfy you?" Asked Luffy.
''You have no idea! I have been bored for years. Every enemy I wiped out and every invasion I ended in less than a day. You felt like fighting a whole army that shows no fear against their enemies.'' Said Lu Bu
''Nah, you are also pretty cool man. You weapon is awesome you actually gave me wounds! I was out of treatment a few weeks ago and now I guess I am back to the doctor.'' Said Luffy seeing the blood.
''You broke some of my bones, including my nose. Ha! I haven't had that since I was a brat.'' Said Lu Bu.
''I feel some of my organ's bleeding. It hurts when I laugh but I don't care.'' Said Luffy laughing.
''You are pretty cool straw Hat.'' Said Lu Bu
''Thanks, you are also awesome Lu guy.'' Said Luffy
While both leaders were having a good time both sides were confused about if they continue to fight or they should stop.
''My Lord what are you doing? Are we ending our fight?" Asked Chen.
''Of course don't you all see that I am having a good time here?'' Said Lu Bu
''What?' Asked the man.
''Is like talking with an old friend.'' Said Lu Bu
The men of Lu Bu soon got a shock look in their faces. Lu Bu called Luffy a ´´friend´´ something he hasn't said in a while.
''A friend! Do you see him as a friend my lord!?'' Asked Chen.
''Of course, anyone that can break my bones is worth to be a friend of mine!'' Said Lu Bu
''Lord Lu Bu made a friendship while in battle. Someone who my lord respect. I can't believe it! I am so happy.'' Said Chen in tears of happiness.
The Straw hats on the other hands were just astounded by this. Usually, Luffy knocks the big guy and then attacks the rest, but now he was having a good time with this Lu Bu guy.
''Are we done?" Asked Usopp with a hint of hope in his voice.
''i guess so.'' Said Sanji while smoking.
''Well it was fun while it lasted. I might want some booze to celebrate.'' Said Zoro
''It seems that they hit off. Its kind amazing Luffy-kun can do that to someone that tried to kill him a few minutes ago.'' Said Jinbei.
''that's the charm of our captain.'' Said Robin.
''Its really amazing, I can't wait to report this on my journal!'' Said Yamato.
''Is this how every fight ends?' Asked Carrot.
''No carrot, this is how an unusual fight ends. The rest we just run away.'' Said Nami.
Then Lu Bu got back up and shouted to his man.
''Everyone bring the booze and the meat. We are a celebrating tonight, for one of the best fights we had in years!" Scream Lu Bu.
'Yes Lord Lu Bu!'' Said the man
''Are we having a party?" Asked Luffy excited.
''Of course! Anyone that has this amount of stamina and can knock me down must be someone wild for me to party!'' Said Lu Bu.
''Oh yeah! Party!" Said Luffy excited.
''Party! Party!'' Said Usopp, Chopper, Brook, Carrot and Franky.
''Call the others, we will have an huge celebration!'' Said Lu
''Wow thanks Lu Bu. You are such a cool guy!'' Said Luffy
''há! I am only like that for those who deserve it. By the way…'' Said Lu Bu
''What is it?" Asked Luffy
''I would like to speak to you privately. I want to know about the outside world.'' Said Lu Bu
Luffy didn't mind that. He thought this was like a Wano situation and that he wanted to know how things were doing.
''Sure.'' Said Luffy.
Oh yes, we are moving. Next chapter is the last one of Lu Bu. This was fun to write, Lu Bu seeing Luffy as a worthy opponent and see that he was worthy of fighting him. This is the type of stuff that I like write in this story.
Also, yeah I might not get the personality right for all the characters. But I will try my best. With what we are given in the story I will do what I can to make sure they are as close as they are in the manga. Remember at the time of this not all of the designs are up.
One more thing, yes I know of recent chapters we are not getting Carrot or Yamato. But screw this, the Straw Hats are going to get super full by the end of this series. It's going to be a full house by the time we get to Laugh Tale, no of that ´´I want 10´´, this will be a crew equal to the pirate king. After all Roger went to the One Piece with more than just 10 people, let's get this show in the road!
