After a few minutes, Ariel calmed down a little bit. Yet tears were still trickling down her cheeks. Regardless of her personal feelings, she wanted to find the others before they had to face Ragnarok and Lilith.
"Are you sure? You still don't look in the best of state." Gracie tried to reason with her electrifying friend.
"Here. This should help," Christen took some baked goods from her pouch to calm Ariel down.
Also, the girls shared the fresh drinks in their canteens with her, as Ariel was not fond of plum juice. However, the others offered theirs since Christen's canteen was full of plum juice. Ariel slowly ate her snack before quickly perking up.
"Thanks, girls. Where are we?" Ariel looked up at the ceiling, which reached so high she could not see the top!
"It's Miranda Castle, Sailor Uranus's palace." Chibiusa worried as she said this. Both Holly and Ariel didn't fancy the idea of ruling a planet. Yet she knew Alexis did, and Holly would only lead Uranus to ally immediately with Neptune.
"Anyone else surprised it doesn't look like some lady parts?" Christen snickered, an old joke about Uranus. However, Christen greatly liked any joke that insulted someone.
"Christen..." Ariel growled. Immediately the shady girl shut up and just smugly smiled.
"I never thought Sailor Uranus would live in such a lovely place." However, Gracie and the other girls knew Haruka to be cold and standoffish. Consequently, it surprised her castle did not give off that foreboding feeling.
After allying with Neptune, Holly would tackle more minor issues. None of the girls doubted Holly would dive into any topic head-first! Holly was used to danger by now. Heck, all the girls dealt with grave problems.
However, at this moment, Holly was coming around. However, she quickly panicked when she could not find Alexis!
"Holly? It's OK. Alexis is safe and sound," a woman with dark brown hair and eyes in a navy gown rushed in to calm Holly down.
"Where is she?!" Holly demanded.
"On Neptune, with her grandmother." This woman replied, shocked at Holly's fierceness, and it should be common knowledge Alexis would be on Neptune.
"How do you know that?" Holly asked coldly.
"I'm in constant contact with her grandmother," the regal lady explained to the frightened young girl.
"And who are you?" Holly questioned. Like her mother, Holly always had her guard up, especially now since she didn't know if this woman was an enemy.
"I'm Queen Gemini Doublue, your grandmother." Queen Doublue smiled sadly.
"Oh, I'm sorry. As the older sibling, I'm overprotective of my sister." Holly apologized.
"No need to apologize for being overprotective. My twin sister is like that with me." Queen Doublue laughed.
"You have a twin?!" Holly chirped as she and Alexis liked to imagine they were twins when they were younger, though they were not.
"Her name is Jerica." Queen Doublue and Holly left the room to meet her grandfather and aunt
In the Throne Room, a muscular man with whiteish-blonde hair and blue eyes in multi-colored royal attire sat in a high-backed, upholstered, decorative chair. He looked worried.
Queen Doublue's twin sister also stood near the throne. However, unlike her regal sister, she wore a superstar-like outfit.
"Beloved, sister, our guest is awake." Queen Doublue called out.
"Oh, she's adorable! Wish I had a kid...or two." The woman, who must be Jerica, bounded forward and patted Holly's head.
"You couldn't handle kids with your lifestyle." This man commented.
"The life of a pop star..." Jerica sighed.
"Popstar?!" Holly could not believe her aunt was a celebrity!
"I'm Uranus's sensational supernova!" Jerica giggled as she struck a pose.
"She would have been had it not been for Queen Beryl. I'm King Atlas, Holly." King Atlas Doublue said as he got up to look at Holly.
"Nice to meet you all. Queen Beryl is still alive, but she's not a queen anymore and a bit better than before." Holly tried to explain. However, Beryl remained a complicated person to describe anyway.
"Queen Serenity told us only what Chibiusa told her. So, we don't know much of current events, though it was mentioned Beryl had a daughter." King Doublue admitted.
"That's Jewel. She's Chibiusa's half-sister and leagues more well-tempered than her mother." Holly's smile wilted. She remembered how distrustful she had been to Jewel when they first met and was thankful the Dark Kingdom Princess was willing to forgive and forget.
"Half-sister?! Does that mean Prince Endymion...?" King Doublue gasped.
"It wasn't exactly consensual." Holly tried to explain again, but that event happened long before their time.
"Let's not dwell on past events." Queen Doublue tried to soothe her rattled husband.
"This should be a happy day!" Jerica announced.
Although Holly was not naturally social, she enjoyed her time with her grandparents and aunt. That is until her friends showed up.
"Do I have to leave now?" Holly groaned.
"You are a Neo-Sailor Senshi, an exceptional job." King Doublue said understandingly.
"You are always welcome to visit." Queen Doublue hugged Holly.
"Before you go, at least allow me to sing you a short farewell song?" Jerica pleaded.
"Um...OK." Chibiusa and the other girls did not know Jerica was a pop star until she started singing.
Crystal took out her supercomputer to record Jerica's song. At the song's end, the group clapped and cheered as Jerica bowed exaggeratedly.
"We'll make sure this goes viral when we get back!" Gracie promised.
"Unless that's code for something I should be worried about, I don't mind." Jerica joked.
"It's not," Christen answered.
With that, the girls, now able to utilize Sailor Teleport, went to look for the one other person Holly would not continue without. Appearing to have arrived in the sky, the girls looked around before plummeting into open water!
Queen Gemini: Edie Mirman (Angewoman from Digimon Adventure)
King Atlas: James Earl Jones (Mufasa from The Lion King)
Side notes: Gemini is the zodiac sign for Holly. Atlas is an overhead view of a map from the sky, one of Uranus's elements. For those who grew up in the 80s and watched Jem and the Holograms, you'll know where I got Jerica from.
