"COME ON, YOU APES!" Nicole screamed. "DO YOU WANT TO LIVE FOREVER?!"
During the Invasion, Team Cosmic Dragon went out to defend the Leaf. The Sound and Sand Villages were joining forces to destroy the Leaf. The invasion was a ferocious battle.
"I have to take the fight away from the Leaf." Nicole snapped her fingers and beamed the entire fight to the Volcano Planet Mirmag.
Planet Mirmag is a Volcano Planet in the galaxy M98, approximately 45 million light-years from Earth, in the constellation Coma Berenices, Latin for Berenice's Hair. It is an inhospitable volcano world filled with constantly erupting volcanoes, deep canyons, and a surface temperature of 792 degrees Fahrenheit is the first planet in its system and orbits a White Supergiant star. The planet is constantly ravaged by extremely powerful thunderstorms with incredibly powerful lightning and fire tornadoes scarring the surface. A full orbit of the planet around its parent star takes 125 days. The planet is inhabited by fantastic fire creatures and a race of shapeshifting fire humanoid warriors known as the Ignivi. They are a powerful warrior race with the strongest fire powers in the universe, and they are very friendly to anyone willing to protect their kind.
"I don't like this planet, sis," Naruto muttered.
"It's the planet Mirmag," Nicole answered. "It's a volcano planet, and I figure we can take the fight away from the Leaf to keep everyone safe."
"Good thinking," Sasuke agreed. "Let's get rid of the hostiles."
The battle for the Leaf had begun. Team Cosmic Dragon destroyed numerous Sound Shinobi one by one, picking them apart until they died, and Nicole sealed them all in the Book of Vile Darkness. The Sound Ninjas were persistent, and they weren't going down without a fight. Team Cosmic Dragon had the Sound on the run. They tracked down Kabuto Yakushi, who was responsible for the invasion.
Nicole narrowed her eyes. "Kabuto. I knew you were a traitor working for that scumbag Orochimaru!"
"Yes," Kabuto acknowledged. "You killed Lord Orochimaru and destroyed everything we were trying to accomplish."
"I have no remorse for doing so," Nicole claimed. "You will soon join him in the darkest pits of the Netherworld for all eternity."
"I don't think so," Kabuto said with a malicious smile on his face.
"People like you deserve to be damned for all eternity," Nicole added.
She took out a Luciendar hilt. But this one was different.
"Let's see how you handle a sword of the elements," Nicole offered.
She channeled Fire Style Chakra into the hilt, forming a fire blade.
Kabuto formed a blade of pure chakra. "You will pay for killing Lord Orochimaru!"
They then clashed, sending sparks flying from their swords.
Massive lightning strikes lit up the sky, illuminating the searing clouds. The thunder was loud. A fire tornado ripped through the fighting Sound Ninjas, incinerating them.
Naruto was killing a lot of Sound Shinobi, and the bodies were piling up among them.
Sakura, Fu, Juri, Ami, Akiko, Sasuke, Rin, Yamiko, and Tayuya were producing more Sound Ninja corpses.
As the fight raged on, a group of fire angels flew in and slashed apart the Sound Shinobi.
Naruto said, "Thanks a lot."
"No problem," answered one of the Ignivi.
Nicole and Kabuto were going at it hard, creating sparks with every clash of their sounds. Nicole smiled as she saw a Fire Tornado approaching her.
"Why are you smiling, Nicole?" Kabuto asked. "Are you smiling because you are about to die?"
"Nope," Nicole answered. "I'm smiling because you're going to right now!"
Nicole flew away, and the Fire Tornado incinerated Kabuto without warning, killing him.
His spirit stood in front of her.
"You are now forever damned," Nicole snarled, pulling out the Book of Vile Darkness and chanting an Incantation."Aldruon Enlenthranel Vosolen Lirus-nor!"
Kabuto went into the Book of Vile Darkness, and his information revealed a large number of atrocities committed with Orochimaru. It also revealed everything about the Curse Mark, including what it is capable of and how it is given to the victim.
"This is horrible," Nicole gasped. "We now know everything there is to know about what Kabuto and Orochimaru did. They can both spend eternity in the Netherworld. Now I better head back to help the others."
Nicole took off toward the ongoing fight. The fight was a total annihilation. The Leaf defeated the Sound, and all of their spirits appeared before them.
"It's time for you all to be forever damned!" Nicole shouted. She chanted an incantation. "Aldruon Enlenthranel Vosolen Lirus-nor!"
Nicole sealed all of the Sound Shinobi spirits into the Book of Vile Darkness, and the information it revealed about them all was frightening and horrifying.
Temari was facing Chiyo, the Elder Leader of the Puppet Brigade for the Sand.
"You heartless witch!" screamed Temari. "You killed my mother and manipulated my father into turning Gaara into a weapon for your own selfish purposes!"
"That worthless woman got what she deserved and she was a pawn in our plan to strengthen the village!" Chiyo retorted.
"How about you say that to my face Chiyo!?"
Temari saw her mother Karura alive and well, with wings made completely of pure fire and glowing orange eyes.
"It's not possible!" Chiyo protested. "I killed you!"
"MOM!" Temari cried.
Temari ran up to her, hugged her, and cried. "I thought you were dead!"
"Oh, Temari," Karura murmured. "You've grown into a beautiful young woman. I'm so proud of you. We'll catch up later. Let's kill this old witch."
"Right," Tamari agreed.
"You tried to kill me, Chiyo, and I will never forgive you for your treachery," Karura declared. "You poisoned me, and I had no choice but to deliver Gaara early. After that, I was teleported to this planet by an unknown assailant and saved by the Ignivi. They nursed me back to health and imbued me with their fire powers and fire wings. I hoped that one day I would be found and able to return home."
"This time, I will finish what I started!" Chiyo vowed.
"Not this time, you traitorous old hag!" Karura snarled.
Karura shot a fireball at Chiyo, instantly incinerating her.
Nicole appeared near them and saw Chiyo's spirit. "You are forever damned Chiyo. Pay for your treachery." She chants an incantation. "Aldruon Enlenthranel Vosolen Lirus-nor!"
Chiyo's spirit entered the Book of Vile Darkness, and the information it contained about her was horrifying. She was the source of all corruption in the Sand, and she executed Rasa the 4th Kazekage for treason. She made up numerous lies about him being a malevolent tyrant who abused his power, and she made up even more lies about Gaara.
"Chiyo, you are another Sower of Discord," Nicole told her. "You destroyed the Sand in its entirety. Karura, thank goodness you're okay," she said to her.
"I'm glad too, and you are?" Karura asked.
"I'm Nicole Knudson, leader of Team Cosmic Dragon," Nicole answered.
"That's right, mom," Temari added. "Nicole has helped me, Kankuro, and Gaara figure out why Gaara was made the 1-Tail Jinchuriki and how the Council's corruption was ruining the village."
"I have a lot of catching up to do," Karura confessed. "I was on this planet for 13 years."
"How did you get to the planet Mirmag?" Nicole wondered.
"I have no idea," Karura admitted. "I was dying and was saved by the Ignivi."
"I'm glad you're all right, Karura," Nicole admits. "I saw Rasa in a lot of pain when he lost you. The Sand and Sound launched an invasion against the Leaf. This was originally Orochimaru's plan, but Kabuto Yakushi decided to finish what he was going to do."
"That's horrible," Karua gasped.
"We've got a lot of catching up to do, mom," Temari admitted. "But let us join the fight and destroy the Sound Ninjas. I'll go help the Sand Village Shinobi and tell them to stop."
"Okay," Nicole replied.
They flew toward the fight and killed the Sound Shinobi, and Temari convinced the Sand Shinobi to double cross the Sound Shinobi. Nicole sealed the Sound Shinobi in the Book of Vile Darkness.
The area reverted back to the Leaf, and Karura returned to the World of Shinobi for the first time in 13 years.
Back in the Hokage's office Team Cosmic Dragon, Temari, Kankuro and Gaara were filing their report.
"Kabuto went with the Invasion just as we anticipated, and we won the fight," Nicole recounted. "To avoid causing extensive damage to the Leaf, I changed the area to the Volcano planet Mirmag."
"So that's what that Volcano Planet was called," Lord Third understood. "Incredible."
"Yeah," Naruto agreed. "It was amazing, Grandpa."
Lord Third laughed. "I believe it, Naruto."
"I faced Kabuto, and it was a powerful clash," Nicole continued. "I formed a fire blade on the hilt of my sword, and we clashed with pure fire and chakra. Kabuto was incinerated by a fire tornado on the planet, and I sealed his soul in the Book of Vile Darkness. Here."
Nicole handed him the book and revealed information about him. After reading it, Lord Hokage was shocked.
"So Kabuto was Nono Yakushi's biological son," Lord Third concluded. "This entire time, she had no idea about him. He accidentally killed her during the Third World War, and we were told she committed suicide."
"I'll bet it's one of Danzo's tricks," Sasuke mused.
"That was my first thought as well, Sasuke," Nicole confessed.
"I have a feeling you're right, Sasuke," Lord Third mused. "Continue on."
"We killed all of the Sound Shinobi, for a total of 375 Sound Shinobi," Nicole reported. "All their info is in the book. That's not the worst part we found out."
"What do you mean?" asked Lord Third.
"We found out that Chiyo, the Leader of the Sand's Puppet Brigade, was a Traitorous Witch," Nicole revealed. "Here's what we found out."
Nicole turned the pages to the information about Chiyo, and Lord Hokage found a horrifying revelation. Temari, Kankuro, Gaara, and Karura were shocked by this. Kankuro punched the wall in rage as Karura and Temari broke down and cried.
Kankuro screamed, "That witch! She killed father in cold blood!"
"I can't believe Chiyo was so heartless," Naruto gasped. "She had absolutely no value for her village or any of her teammates. Her soul was as black as the pits of evil itself."
"Unbelievable," Sasuke gasped.
"I'm so sorry, Gaara," Naruto apologized.
"It's all right, Naruto," Gaara assured him. "I've always suspected that Chiyo was manipulating Father in some way. Now I know he was coerced into doing everything he was doing to me against his will."
"I can't believe Chiyo was that evil," Nicole quipped. "She let her own greed and selfishness cloud her mind completely by making the Sand a strong force."
"I agree, Nicole," Lord Third responded. "Chiyo is now a traitor to the Sand, and she will be treated as such. Karura, I'm so glad you're all right. Rasa was devastated when he thought you had died."
Karura calms down. "I know Lord Hokage. It's all Chiyo's fault. She tried to kill me and use Gaara for her own selfish purposes.
"I don't think we can trust the Hidden Sand anymore after everything that's happened, and I don't think we can go back," Temari concluded.
"Well, I'm more than happy to give you all asylum here in the Leaf," Lord Third offered.
"Thank you, Lord Hokage," Kankuro answered.
"I'm honored to be a Leaf Shinobi, Lord Hokage," Gaara added.
"You're welcome," Lord Third replied. "Now, Team Cosmic Dragon, because the invasion canceled the Chunin Exams, and because of your tremendous demonstration in skills, leadership in battle, and Valor in battle, and protection of your friends, and helping the Leaf Triumph into Victory, I hereby award you all the rank of elite Chunin."
Team Cosmic Dragon cheered.
"Thank you, Lord Hokage," Nicole replied. "We are truly honored."
Lord Hokage gave them purple Chunin Flak Jackets with the Team Cosmic Dragon symbol on the back.
"Thank you, Lord Hokage," Nicole responded. "We will wear these vests with honor and diligence."
"Take two weeks off and rest," Lord Third advised. "I also have another announcement to make. I am going to step down as the 3rd Hokage."
"You still have enough fight in you, Lord Hokage," Nicole joked.
Lord Third said, "Thank you Nicole for that. But I'm getting old, and I've already announced my successor. I'm appointing Tsunade as the 5th Hokage."
"Wow!" exclaimed Nicole. "That's a big step for her. It was an honor to serve you as the 3rd Hokage, Lord Sarutobi."
"Thank you, Nicole," Lord Third replied. "Thank you, Team Cosmic Dragon, for your outstanding performances over the last six months."
"Anytime, Grandpa," Naruto smiled.
After that, Lady Tsunade was coronated the 5th Hokage. She was given the secret to the paperwork's defeat, and now she can run the hospital and has a lot of free time. Kushina was now her right-hand woman.
Later, as Team Cosmic Dragon was resting in the Namikaze estate, Nicole sensed something.
"Whoa!" gasped Nicole. "I sense two huge energy signals coming."
"Can you identify them, Nicole?" Lincoln asked.
Nicole concentrated and gasped. "It's the Akatsuki. Kisame Hoshigaki and Itachi Uchiha."
"They must be after me, Fu, Gaara, and Rin," Naruto reasoned. "But, they think Yagura is the Three-Tailed Jinchuriki."
"That's probably the cause," Natsumi agreed.
"Let's go meet them," Nicole suggested.
They ran to the north edge of the village and met Itachi and Kisame in the flesh. They were dressed in black cloaks with red clouds on them.
"Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki," Nicole nodded.
"Team Cosmic Dragon," Kisame nodded. "We've heard a lot of good things about all of you. We also heard that you killed that traitor Orochimaru."
"Word sure travels fast, doesn't it?" Nicole replied.
"Captain Kisame," Yamiko acknowledged. "It's been a long time."
"Yamiko Kaguya," Kisame acknowledged. "I haven't seen you since you were a little girl. You sure have grown."
"I know," Yamiko confessed. "I found my brother Kimimaro, and now we're back together."
"I'm happy for you, Yamiko," Kisame added with a smile.
"It's good to see you again, Nicole," Itatchi replied, greeting her.
"You, too, Itachi," Nicole replied. "It's been five years since we last saw each other."
"Itachi, you really have grown since the last time I saw you," Rin commented.
"Rin?" Itachi questioned. "I thought you died."
"Orochimaru found her 14 years ago and healed her by freezing her in a block of ice," Naruto informed.
"And as a result, I received some bonuses," Rin added.
"We have some news for you, Itachi, but Sasuke would like to talk to you," Nicole added.
"It's been a while, big brother," Sasuke said, greeting him.
Itatchi responded with amazement, "I don't hear any hatred in you."
"Itachi, I know everything about the Massacre and why you did it," Sasuke explained. "It was because of the corruption of the Elders and the Civilian Council. Danzo, Koharu, Homura, and the Civilian Council forced you to kill the Uchiha Clan. They were executed for their treachery."
"It's true, Itachi," Nicole stated firmly. "Everyone knows about the Massacre and how The Council's corruption destroyed the Uchiha. They now see you as a hero instead of a traitor."
Itachi was shocked. "I appreciate you telling me this. And I'm sorry, Sasuke, that I put you through all of this."
"I know big brother," Sasuke confessed. "You did what you had to do for the village, and you are my hero."
Itachi chuckles. "I'm glad. Now Nicole let us talk."
They were in the Tsukuyomi Realm.
"Whoa!" exclaimed Nicole. "I completely forgot how wicked the Tsukuyomi Realm was."
"Yes," Itatch agreed. "We can talk in here."
"I'm afraid the news is grim," Nicole admitted. "During our match in the Chunin Exam Preliminaries, Naruto and I faced an evil Sasuke."
"This version of me is pure evil, and he is an arrogant and extremely ruthless monster," Sasuke explained.
"He has a massive superiority complex the size of the largest star in the universe, and it completely consumed him beyond all known levels of human comprehension," Naruto continued. "He claims to be the strongest of the strong and the best of the best."
"He is what Sasuke was before we set him straight during our mission to the Land of Waves," Lincoln added.
"He is now on probation, and the civilian population fears him rather than worshiping the ground he walks on," Fu continued.
"We also have a strong feeling that the Evil Sasuke will go rogue in the next few days," Rin warned.
"How bad is this feeling?" Itachi begged.
Nicole answered, "99.8% and when we beat him we completely stripped him of his right to be a Leaf Shinobi and he vowed to completely destroy the entire Leaf Village and kill everyone and destroy everything."
Itachi gasped in horror. "I've created a monster."
Nicole retorted, "No, Itachi, it's not your fault. It's all Koharu's fault. She used Sealing Jutsu to create a Blood Clone, infused it with Sasuke's DNA and blood, and turned him into a ruthless monster."
"It's a good thing she's dead," Itachi mused. "I can't believe this Sasuke is going to destroy us all."
"We won't let him do it, Itachi," Yamiko vowed.
"If the need arises, he will pay with his life," Ami warned.
"And we will not let his reign of terror to begin," Akiko declared.
"Thank you all," Itatchi replied. "I am eternally grateful."
"We also know what the Akatsuki is planning, and it will destroy the entire planet if we don't stop them," Nicole continued.
"So the Akatsuki are going to destroy the world?" Itachi asked.
"Yeah," Naruto nodded. "The Infinite Tsukuyomi will cause the entire planet to explode and annihilate everyone and everything."
"It'll be the end of the world, and we can't let that happen," Lincoln added.
"Yeah," Fu agreed.
Itachi was horrified. He was working for an evil organization that planned to destroy the entire planet and kill everyone.
"Thank you all for telling me," Itatchi said gratefully. "How did you get this information?"
"Lady Kami herself appeared and revealed everything during the execution of Danzo, Koharu, and Homura," Nicole revealed. "She'll help us destroy the Akatsuki and prepare for them."
"That's incredible," Itachi exclaimed. "Thanks for telling me about this. Now I know what I must do. I have to tell Lord Hokage about this."
"He already knows and everyone in the 5 Great Nations knows and everyone is now on high alert for the Akatsuki, and they know the threat that they pose to the entire planet," Nicole explained.
"The entire world is in grave danger, Itachi, and we must stop the Akatsuki at all costs," Naruto urged.
"Yes," Itachi agreed. "It's good they know."
"Orochimaru is also dead," Nicole added. "We were prepared for him, and we killed him, and the Sound Village suffered a devastating and crippling blow."
"That's what we've heard," Itachi claimed. "I'm glad he's dead."
"We are, too," Akiko added. "He got what he deserved in the end."
"Yeah," Nicole agreed.
"Orochimaru was after the power of the Uchiha, and he was after my body for the Sharingan, and we found out that he tried to take you," Sasuke explained.
"Yes," Itachi agreed. "He did Sasuke. But I stopped him."
"That's good," Nicole responded.
The Tsukuyomi Realm vanished.
"Whoa!" gasped Nicole. "I forgot how much of a headache the Tsukuyomi gives you."
"Yeah," Naruto agreed.
"Kisame, tell the Akatsuki Leader I'm not coming back," Itachi requested.
"Certainly, Itachi," Kisame answered. "I understand."
"I had a..." Itachi began but then he was interupted.
"ITACHI!" screamed the evil Sasuke.
They saw Evil Sasuke getting ready to face Itachi.
"Speak of the Devil, and he shall come," Nicole warned. "What are you doing here, Sasuke 2?"
Evil Sasuke ignored her. "Itachi! I did exactly what you said and what you asked. I've saved my hatred for you and only you! AFTER I KILL ITACHI, YOU'RE ALL NEXT TEAM COSMIC DRAGON! NOW, ITACHI! YOU'RE DEAD!"
"Don't push your luck Sasu-gay," Nicole thought to herself.
"Nicole is right," Itachi thought. "There is an evil version of Sasuke."
Evil Sasuke charged up a Chidori to full power and charged at Itachi.
"He stole Kakashi-sensei's Original Jutsu!" Naruto yelled in his head.
"That little thief!" Rin thought to herself.
"He just continues to disgrace the Uchiha even more," Sasuke thought.
Itachi swatted away the Chidori as if it were nothing, then mercilessly beat Evil Sasuke and pinned him to a tree.
"You're still too weak," Itachi scoffed. "You don't have enough hate. And you know something," he then whispers into his ear, "and you never will."
Itachi tortured Evil Sasuke psychologically by putting him under the Tsukuyomi.
Itachi later went into the Leaf with them and reported everything. Itachi was pardoned for his crimes, and Sasuke and Itachi were reunited. Lady Tsunade cured Itachi after he discovered that Orochimaru poisoned him while he was in the Akatsuki.
Nicole was with Evil Sasuke in the hospital, where he was in a coma. "You brought all this on yourself Sasuke 2. Now you will pay for everything you've done." Her eyes glowed a crimson red. "Welcome to your worst nightmare!"
Nicole cast the Malevolent Insanity Jutsu on him and Evil Sasuke was in the Nightmare Universe.
The Malevolent Insanity Jutsu transports the target to a Nightmare Universe of unimaginable horror. It is actually a Universe in which the Very Physical laws of Nature do not apply, and it brings all of your worst fears to life while torturing the target psychologically and mentally to the power of 100,000. It destroys the target's sanity beyond the scope of all medical and therapeutic repair. It even has the power to instill extreme delusions of weakness in their minds by showing the source of their pain amplified by one million.
"Enjoy your torture Sasu-gay, because it will haunt you for the next 7 days," Nicole said, smirking.
She left and whistled and then suddenly Evil Sasuke screamed in fear.
Nicole chuckled to herself. "I love torturing Evil Sasuke's."
Nicole knew that the Tsukuyomi Jutsu, when combined with the Malevolent Insanity Genjutsu, would completely destroy his sanity and ensure his eternal suffering.
