Chapter 2
The Caravaner and the Kindred Hunter walk to the caravan wagons that had been being pulled by the mini woolly mammoth monster called a Popo. They are usually found in the coldest areas like the one the Kindred's Hunter home village. They stopped in front of one of the wagons. "We got some armour and starting weapons for you to pick from. After you are all set, talk to the lovely Gaildmaden. She will have the first quest for you." The Caravaner turned to her "Welcome to the Capital C Caravan." He walked away letting the Kindred Hunter go into the wagon. She looked around the small room to see a set of armour on the bed, looking down at herself that she was still in her underwear.
She had given a soft chuckle to her as she had started to put the armour on. She had the pants and belt on already, she was working on the top when she heard a meowing voice. "Would you like a hand, nya?" She turned around to see a feline stand on its hind legs holding a broom in her paws. The hunter tried to look at the part that she was having trouble with then nodded. The small feline jumped up on the bed helping the hunter out. "What's your name, meowser?" The feline asked as she finished hooking her up.
"I'm Saachi." She replies. Putting on the arms and gloves well facing the feline. She left the helmet on the bed and looked at the weapons that had leaned against the wall, wondering which one she would use. She was going to grab the iron insect glave but she stopped herself, she seen the iron sword and shield sitting next to it and grabbed it since she had experiences with it. She strapped the shield on her right forearm making it easy to grab any item from her item pouch. She held up the sword expecting its sharp blade. After making sure the blade was in good shape she straps on the sheathing belt around her waist, so she can sheath the sword on her lower back. "Thank you for the paw," Saachi said to the friendly feline as it went back to sweeping the floor. The feline poured as Saachi picks up the helmet off the bed and walks to the door of the wagon. As she made her way out the door she put the helmet on covering the markings on her forehead up. She covers the back of the helmet with her long hair so that the two feathers that were pin in the middle of the helmet was showing over her hair.
She looked around as she stepped outside to see a young lady getting her books ready for the new hunter. The Gaildmaden has seen Saachi and gives her a soft smile as Saachi wakes over to her "The boss said he did find us a new hunter that knows how to get the job done. So ready for your first caravan quest Doodle. Oh, I hope you don't mind me calling you Doodle." She said handing Saachi a slip of paper with the quest info on it. Hunt a Great Jaggi which is making a trading route more dangerous and slay 4 Jaggis for a little extra zennies. She reads the info and hands the slip of paper back to the guildmarm. "Good luck Doodle." She said, giving a waving as Saachi walked to get some stuff ready for the quest.
Good thing there was an open-air kitchen, she took a seat at the table next to the small kitchen. The cook was another feline like the one in the room but this one looked a little older. The street cook saw the hunter at the table with a sword and shield, "Something with a little kick for a blademaster tease." The cook started to whip up a mouth-watering meal for the hunt ahead. Saachi had taken no time at all and she had eaten every last strip of juicy meat the street cook cooked up. She got up and paid the feline cook, giving him a kind hand wave before heading to the town gates. "Safe hunting, hunter." The street cook meowed as she walked away still cooking.
As she walked over to the quest gate where the airships waited for the hunter that needed to go to the hunting grounds. "Where are you heading to, Hunter?" asked the captain as he glanced over to see her waked by.
Saachi replied to him " to the Ancestral Steppes." The captain waves his hand for her to jump on so the small crew of three men can take the small airship to the hunting ground.
