The Blizzard of UA

Chapter 2: Now That's Cold

Wren rolled his back as he stepped into the airport terminal, doing his best to get the soreness and exhaustion out of his body. He had been on a plane for over 14 hours, and he did not like it. While he had no issues with flying, the seats on the plane were not the most comfortable thing in the world and he was definitely feeling it in his bones.

"Damn, in times like this I wish I had mom's flying powers. Then I wouldn't have to sit in those freaking seats for such a long time." Wren said as he twisted the top part of his body.

Leaving his hometown of Phoenix wasn't an easy decision and leaving his mother and his friends was a bittersweet moment but he knew that it was going to be good in the long run.

It had been a few years since he last stepped foot in Japan, so being back was a little surreal. The last time he was in Japan he was about 5 or 6 and his grandmother had wanted to meet her only grandchild. At the time. So, Wren's mother took Wren and herself to Hokkaido to meet the other half of his family. Thankfully, this was still when they were living in Minnesota, so they were used to the cold that came with Hokkaido. It was certainly a culture shock for the young Wren seeing his Japanese family members and how they acted with each other, but it was really fun getting to connect with the Japanese part of his heritage.

Despite the fact that he was so young, Wren managed to bond rather easily with his two older cousins Hiroto and Takashi. Takashi was the oldest and was a little more mature than Hiroto, but he managed to help Wren feel like he was part of the family. Hiroto was closer in age to Wren but still older by a few years, making Wren look at him as how he could act when he got older and how not to. Hiroto had been quite the player when it came to women, but they seemed to love him, and he loved them.

Even after going back to the States, Wren still kept in contact with his older cousins who he came to view as more of older brother figures than cousins. Even though they were across the ocean, they still found time to help Wren through a lot of the problems that he ended up facing when he was growing up. Like him, Hiroto and Takashi had known what it was like to grow up without a father figure in their lives, so they were there to help Wren when he needed it.

Speaking of his cousins, Wren was looking around the terminal to try and find the form of his cousin Hiroto. He had told Wren that he would be willing to let him stay with him and his roommate while he was going to UA which was something that he appreciated very much. Wren felt his phone go off in his pocket, prompting him to open it up and take a look at the message that had just come in. Hiroto had told him to make his way out of the terminal and make his way towards a dark blue corvette.

Wren knew the car his cousin was talking about, that thing was his baby and he had seen his cousin restore the entire thing from the ground up. Wren placed his phone back into his pocket and made his way through the terminal. Thankfully, his Japanese had improved immensely over the years, and he could now communicate with pretty much anyone in Japanese.

After leaving the terminal with his bags in tow, Wren was easily able to locate the dark blue 86 Stingray Corvette belonging to his older cousin Hiroto. Wren made his way to the car and as he got near, his cousin jumped out of the car and approached the young man.

Hiroto looked just as Wren remembered him from the last time, they saw each other. Hiroto was a handsome young man in his mid-20s with dirty blonde hair, flawless skin, and bright blue eyes. He was dressed in a pair of black slacks with shiny black shoes, a dark blue button-up shirt, and a black vest over it all. This was the typically look Hiroto wore whenever he went to work since all he really had to do make himself look good was throw a jacket over his clothes.

Hiroto smiled at Wren and the two hugged each other as they approached, "Hahaha, Wren! Oh, it is so good to see you!" Hiroto said as the two separated.

Wren laughed at his older cousin's enthusiasm, "It's good to see you too Hiro-nii. Thanks for putting me up while I'm in Japan."

Hiroto waved his thanks off, "Don't even think twice about it. The fact that my baby cousin is going to be attending UA and training to be a hero, least I can do is give him a place to stay."

"Well, I'm, not in UA yet Hiro-nii. I still have to the entrance exam." Wren said as he placed his bags in the trunk of Hiroto's car.

"Bah, please, I've seen the videos that auntie has sent us of you in your competitions back in the States. I know how strong you are. If UA doesn't accept you, then something is wrong with them." Hiroto said as the two of them jumped into the car.

"Thanks for the vote of confidence Hiro-nii but I cant take anything for granted. The exam is in a few weeks, and I need to make sure that I'm ready for it."

Hiroto nodded as he started the car and headed out of the parking lot and into traffic, "You always did have your eyes on the prize whenever you were serious about something. Just know the whole family is behind you in this little bro."

Wren nodded and thanked Hiroto. While he wasn't their actual brother per se and just their youngest cousin, Hiroto and Wren's eldest cousin Takashi looked at Wren as if he was their younger brother, which was something that Wren appreciated seeing as his mother never had any more children after him.

Wren and Hiroto passed the time with some small talk, mainly with Hiroto asking if Wren had found a girl yet. All of his family in Japan knew that Wren was a great guy, and they knew he was friendly enough for find love, but it hadn't happened yet for the young man, but he was optimistic. Maybe Japan would be good for his love life.

Hiroto came up to a stoplight and waited for the red light to turn green. As they waited, another car filled with beautiful women drove up next to them. The girls looked over and gave both Wren and Hiroto some flirty looks which made the two boys smile.

Hiroto pulled out a black card from his vest pocket and held it up in front of Wren, "Would you mind?"

Wren chuckled blew a cold burst of air at the card, making it float up into the air and hover for a few moments before it landed in the hands of one of the girls. As the light turned green, Hiroto gave the girls a wink before he drove off.

"Nice to see you haven't changed Hiro-nii. As expected of Musutafu's Number 1 Host." Wren said with a smirk.

Hiroto had a lot of skills under his belt, and he was talented in a lot of different fields, but he chose to use his charm and looks to get himself known as one of the best faces in the host game. And he was doing very well. Hiroto knew he was good looking, and he loved being around women, but he also had a big heart, which was why nearly half of his earnings went towards different charities that were important to him.

After a short drive, Hiroto pulled into a rather lavish looking apartment complex and parked his car. Wren got out of the car, grabbed his bags, and followed Hiroto through the complex. The two cousins got into an elevator and went up a few floors before getting off and heading to a single apartment. Hiroto unlocked the door and let Wren inside and he was pleasantly surprised. The apartment was rather spacious, with a large open living room that had a C-shaped couch across from a large flat-screen tv mounted on a wall with an impressive kitchen area and square dining table with four chairs around it.

Sitting at the table was a man who looked the same age as Hiroto with brown hair that was spiked in different areas, skin that had a light tan, dark brown eyes, and dressed in a long-sleeved black shirt and jeans. He appeared to be deep in thought as he stared at the laptop in front of him.

"Oh Rintaro, I didn't think you'd still be home." Hiroto said as he closed the door behind him and Wren.

The man named Rintaro turned around and smiled, "Hiroto, welcome back. Yeah, I figured I may as well get some more work done before calling it a night," he said before turning to Wren, "Ah, I suppose this is your cousin?"

Hiroto smiled and threw an arm over Wren's shoulders, "Yes, he is. Wren, allow me to introduce my oldest friend and roommate Akiyama Rintaro. Rintaro, this is my cousin and future hero, Wren Bishop."

Wren shrugged his cousin's arm off and held his hand out, "It's nice to meet you Akiyama-san. Hiro-nii has told me a lot about you."

Rintaro smiled and shook Wren's hand, "It's a pleasure Wren-kun and please call me Rintaro. Hiroto has told me a lot about you, he's very proud of you for taking the path of a hero."

Wren felt his face get slightly warm at the way his older cousin talked about him, "Well let's hope I actually make it into UA. But Hiro-nii tells me that you're an author?"

"Well, in a way. I've worked on a team that has published several small stories, but I was recently offered the chance to write my own original story." Rintaro said as he sat back down.

"How's the story going by the way?" Hiroto asked.

Rintaro sighed, "I've made progress but I'm having some trouble figuring out the right character for my main protagonist. Once I nail that down, I can figure out the direction my story will go."

Wren shrugged, "Why not the son of a snow goddess?" he suggested jokingly.

Rintaro's eyes immediately widened at the words Wren said, "Son of a snow goddess?"

Wren nodded, "Yeah, in a lot of stories with a fantasy element you usually see people with ice or snow powers as villains or anti-heroes. Having someone who is actually a good guy and not a villains would be an interesting spin."

Rintaro seemed like a lightbulb had gone off above his head and he immediately started writing on his laptop at a rapid pace, "A main character with a kind and noble heart but born with the powers of the frigid snow. Oh yes, I can see things now!"

Wren blinked, "Wow, he is really into his writing, isn't he?"

Hiroto nodded, "Yeah, that's how he gets when he gets inspired," he said shaking his head, "Come on, let me show you to your room."

Wren nodded and followed his older cousin to another part of the apartment. Hiroto opened the door to a room to reveal a decent sized room with a king-sized bed, dresser, wardrobe, mirror, and a small bedside table with a writing desk.

Wren blinked, "Wow, this is more than I was expecting." He said walking in.

Hiroto laughed, "Yeah, Rintaro and I had made the place ours in a lot of ways since we moved in, and we wanted to make the guest room as comfortable as we could. So don't be afraid to make yourself at home."

Wren placed his bag on the bed and rolled his other to rest up against the side of it, "Thanks Hiro-nii. Again, I really appreciate you and Rintaro-san letting me stay here."

Hiroto smiled and hugged Wren for a few moments, he then pulled back and placed both hands on his shoulders, "Don't even worry about it. If going to UA is what you need to do to accomplish your dream then me, Nii-san, Grandma, and every other member of the family will back you up."

Wren smiled and couldn't help but feel blessed, he knew that his family was incredible but just knowing that he had so much support backing him made him even more determination to pass this test.

With all his family putting their faith in him, he would do everything in his power to pass the Entrance Exam and get into UA.

MHA

It was a new day in Musutafu, and Wren was enjoying the coolness of the sunny weather. Unlike the intense heat of Phoenix that he had gotten used to, the weather in Japan was a lot cooler than he expected which suited him just fine. Due to the nature of his Quirk, Wren didn't really feel any change in cold or heat. He constantly stayed at one cold temperature. To others he was felt normal but to Wren he was always at a constant cool.

Hiroto had told Wren that Takashi had wanted to see him but since he was busy at work, he invited him to come and check out his business. Wren was honestly surprised that Takashi was willing to see him due to the fact that his wife gave birth to their first child only a few weeks earlier. A few weeks before Wren left Phoenix, his mother told him that Takashi's wife Hinata had given birth to their son. Wren could not feel happier for his cousin, knowing full well that his little nephew was going to have a great mother and father.

Now that Wren was in Japan, he knew that he was going to have to see his little nephew as soon as he could. And he also wanted to check in on his cousin. Like Hiroto, Wren hadn't seen Takashi for a few years now and getting the opportunity to see his eldest cousin was something that made him happy.

Walking along the streets of Musutafu, Wren did get some odd looks when he passed by but that was most likely due to the fact with the way he was dressed. Wren's ensemble consisted of dark blue jeans, a long-sleeved dark blue and black shirt, and a black and blue leather jacket. He also wore a silver chain around his neck and a black fedora on his head. The hat was a gift from Hiroto thinking that Wren needed a bit more style.

Wren thought it made him look good and it made his cousin happy, so it was a win-win.

Wren came to a crosswalk and waited for the light to turn green so he could cross the street. As he waited, he felt a small tug on his coat and looked down to see a young boy with dark brown hair and brown eyes, gazing up at him with a curious look.

"Hey, aren't you hot wearing all those clothes?" the boy asked Wren.

"Keita! Don't be rude!" his mother scolded the boy.

Wren chuckled, "It's okay ma'am," he said as he knelt down to the boy's height, "You see little man, the reason why I can wear all these clothes is because my Quirk keeps me cool all day long."

The boy Keita tilted his head, "Really?"

Wren nodded, "Yep, watch." He said as he cupped his hands together in front of the boy and slowly pulled them apart to reveal a hawk-shaped ice sculpture.

"Cool!" Keita said as Wren handed him the sculpture.

"My Quirk let's me control and shape ice. Because of that, my body is pretty much cold all the time. At least to me." Wren said as he stood back up.

"That's an awesome Quirk!" Keita said with a large smile.

"Thanks, you can go ahead and keep that. My ice creations don't melt as easily as regular ice." Wren said as he saw that the crosswalk turned green.

"Thank you Onii-chan!" Keita said as he waved by to Wren with his parents smiling. Wren gave the boy a quick wave as he walked across the street, happy that a small act from him could make someone happy.

After a decent walk, Wren came upon an impressive looking dance club with what looked like a stylized image of the Yggdrasil tree on the front with the worlds Groove Jungle in large print underneath it.

"Groove Jungle huh? I like it." Wren said as he walked up to the front of the club and opened the door.

After he graduated college, Takashi went on to open up this very club and continued to be its proprietor for a number of years before he met his wife and they now run the entire business together. From what Wren had heard about the club itself, it was one of the more popular clubs in Mustafu due to the fact that they had certain hours for when they served people 18 and under and other days when they served those who were older. It was a pretty brilliant formula in Wren's opinion, and it helped keep a roof over the family's head.

Wren walked through the doors and saw many different employees setting up and getting ready for the day ahead.

An older guy dressed like a barback came up to Wren, "Hey man, sorry but we aren't open yet."

"Oh, that's okay, I'm not here as a customer. I was wondering if Shirogane Takashi was available." Wren asked.

The barback raised an eyebrow, "The boss?" he asked, and Wren nodded his head.

"Hey boss, I got some kid here wanting to see you!" the barback yelled across the floor to where a number of tables had been set up. Sitting at one of the tables was an older man with slicked back black hair that had a small streak of silver running through it and a paler skin tone. He was dressed in a red button up with a black shirt underneath and black slacks. The man looked over when he heard the barback's voice and his eyes widened.

"Well, I'll be damned! Oi Satoru, let that young man in! He's, my cousin."

The barback named Satoru looked at Wren who gave him and nod, Satoru stepped out of the way and let Wren walk over to Takashi. Takashi immediately stood up and wrapped his younger cousin in a tight hug which Wren reciprocated.

"Haha, Wren, so good to see you!" Takashi said as the two separated.

Wren chuckled, "It's good to see you too Taka-nii. I see you haven't changed a bit. Although, the silver streak in your hair is new."

Takashi ran a hand through his hair, "Yeah, it was Hinata's idea so that the entire family could match."

"And I know that once our little one here is big and strong, he'll be just as handsome as his daddy."

Wren looked to his right and walking down a set of stairs was a lovely woman with silver hair cut short to her chin with bright pink eyes and an almost ethereal presence. She was dressed in a pink and white dress with a ribbon wrapped around her waist. In her hands was a baby wrapped in a bundle of blankets, his head looking around at everything that was around him. Even after just having a child, Shirogane Hinata was still as beautiful as the last time Wren saw her.

"Nee-san!" Wren said as he walked over to the older woman.

"It's so good to see you again, Wren-kun." Hinata said with a smile.

"Nee-san, should you really be walking? Or even standing up at this point? I mean, you just had a baby." Wren said worriedly.

Hinata groaned, "Jeez, you sound just like Takashi. Believe me, I am doing just fine." She said with a huff.

"Well, if you say so," Wren said as he looked at the small bundle in Hinata's arms, "So, is that…?"

Hinata smiled and nodded, "Yes, it is, Wren-onii-chan. This is Tenma." She said turning the bundle in her arms so Wren could get a better look at the baby. The small child was wrapped in a light blue onesie with the same colored eyes as his father and the smallest bit of hair creeping out from the top of his skull told Wren that as he grew up, he would gain his mother's hair.

"He's beautiful Nee-san." Wren said with a smile.

"Would you like to hold him?" Takashi asked placing a hand on Wren's shoulder, making the young man nervous for a moment. Takashi knew the mechanics of Wren's Quirk and that to most people, he did tend to run a bit colder than most people.

Hinata smiled and handed Tenma over to Wren who quickly got the small child settled in his arms, "Even though he's just a baby, Tenma already shows resistance to low temperatures. He'll be just fine."

Wren carefully held the small child in his arms before maneuvering him around a bit so he could get settled. Happy with the way his nephew was resting in his arms, Wren gave a small smile as he looked down at the baby. Tenma looked up at Wren and for a minute, the young man thought the child was going to cry when he saw him.

But the only thing that came from Tenma was an adorable laugh and smile. That moment made Wren smile. He had never really held a child as young as Tenma, so he was a little nervous about holding his small nephew but the way that Tenma smiled at him made his fears float away.

"Well, seems like Tenma likes you." Takashi said patting Wren's shoulder.

"I guess so. Wasn't really expecting him to be so comfortable around me." Wren said as he gently rocked Tenma in his arms.

At that moment, there was a small feeling inside him that reminded Wren of the time when he saved the small child and her mother before he left America. A feeling that made him feel that all he wanted to do was protect the small child in his arms and keep the dangers of the world away from him.

Wren balanced Tenma on one arm before gently poking his cheek, making the baby giggle once more, "Don't you worry Tenma. Nii-chan is going to become a great hero, so that you can grow up in this world without a worry." He said. Tenma may not have been able to understand what Wren was saying but he seemed happy, nonetheless. Even going as far as to gently grip Wren's finger and lightly nibble it with his still deforming teeth, making Wren giggle.

Those few words that came out of Wren's mouth were the most significant that he had ever said. He knew that being a hero wasn't going to be easy, but he had his mother, his cousins, and little Tenma all giving him their support. Tenma may not have been old enough to fully understand the meaning behind Wren's words, but the small child could almost feel the impact of them.

Takashi wrapped an arm around Wren shoulder and brought their heads together, "The whole family is behind you, little bro. When Tenma is old enough, he's going to be proud to have you as an uncle. And a big brother."

Wren nodded and gave a silent vow for all the people that had supported him on his journey in life and for the future that his little nephew was going to have, he would become the best hero that he could be. And that was a promise.

MHA

Wren was on his way back to Hiroto's place after bidding goodbye to Takashi and his family. Takashi and Hinata gave them their best and wished him luck on his exam, telling him to come by and celebrate after he passed.

Wren was happy to have their support and it just gave him even more drive to pass the exam. As he walked down the streets of Musutafu, he came across a large park with an enormous fountain in the center. The fountain immediately drew his eyes, bringing back memories from when he was still young and living in Minnesota with his mother. On weekends she would take him to the largest mall in the state and they would toss pennies into the large wishing well that was situated in the middle of the mall.

Feeling nostalgic, Wren walked over to the fountain and tossed a coin into it. Closing his eyes, he made a small wish for his family to be well and for him to pass the Entrance Exam. He didn't really believe in things like good luck or fate or anything like that, but he figured that when he saw the fountain that any additional help would give him an edge.

"Hey, don't be like that beautiful."

Wren opened his eyes and looked over and saw a group of 5 guys surrounding a young girl his age. She had long black hair that was tied into a spiky ponytail with a large strand hanging on the right side of her face. Her eyes were sharp and dark colored, and she had a very mature physique with a large bust, voluptuous curves, and a decent amount of muscle from what Wren could see. She was dressed in a rather nice sundress, black stockings, and red shoes on her feet. She had an aura of dignity and pride to her but there was something about that told Wren she wasn't like the stuck up rich people he had met before.

The guys surrounding her looked like stereotypical thugs that seemed to be trying to coerce her into having some fun with them. And from what Wren could tell, that kind of fun would not have been all that appealing.

"We just want to have some fun baby. We don't bite."

"Unless you want us to."

The group laughed but the girl just rolled her eyes, "The kind of "fun" that you all speak of does not appeal to me at all. Now please, leave me alone." She said doing her best to walk away. Wren gave the girl respect; she had the guts to not only stand up to the group but also walk away with her head held high which was not easy to do.

"Hey, where do you think you're going?" the main thug said as he reached his hand out and grabbed onto the girl's arm.

"Unhand me immediately!" the girl shouted and turned around. Once she faced the thug who had his grip on her and threw a mean right cross to his cheek.

"Gah," the first thug released his grip and stumbled back clutching his cheek, "You stuck up bitch!" he roared out as he and his crew bared down on the girl. She seemed to get a little more concerned as the group came at her, but Wren was already there and standing in front of her.

He crossed his arms as he glared at the group, "Now that's no way to treat a lady." He said.

The head thug growled, "This doesn't concern you Gaijin."

Wren faked being hurt, "Wow, that hurt. Not really. Now, I'm going to give you guys one chance, leave now and let this go."

The group of guys laughed, and the head thug moved forward and grabbed Wren's collar, "Listen here kid, we were just going to teach that chick a lesson but now, you're gonna get it to." He said pulling his fist back.

Wren shrugged, "Well, I did give you a warning."

Wren the grabbed the thug's wrist, twisted, and knocked him off his feet. Wren then twisted the thug's arm and pinned him to the ground making him groan in pain.

Wren looked up at the rest of the group and smirked, "Next?"

The group charged at him with the second thug getting closest to him faster than the rest. Wren easily kicked him in the gut making him double over and knocked him to the ground with a side kick to the head. Wren let go of the first thug's arm and evaded the third thug's punch. He tired to go for another punch, but Wren threw an elbow and caught the thug in the bicep making him drop his arm. Wren gave two more elbows to the thug's face and chest before landing a hammer fist to his groin.

The final two thugs were now scared at the show of strength that Wren had demonstrated and were now second guessing their actions. But seeing the rest of the crew already on the ground, all rational thoughts left their head and they rushed Wren at the same time. Wren was able to parry and evade each weak strike the duo threw at him. He then threw flurry of fast punch combos before launching multiple snap kicks to the duo and knocking them out with punches to the face.

Wren sighed and cracked his neck, "I did warn you."

Behind Wren, Yaoyorozu Momo was in utter shock. She knew that if no one helped her with the rude fellows in front of her she was going to have a very difficult time holding her own but the young man in front of her had absolutely no trouble taking all five of them down. Not to mention, he didn't move one inch from the spot he was in. Like he was aware that she was behind him and didn't move so she wouldn't be hurt. To say that she was impressed was an understatement.

Wren turned around to see the girl staring at him with a shocked look on her face, "Are you okay, miss?"

Momo shook her head to clear herself out of her stupor and cleared her throat, "Yes, yes. I am well. Thank you for your assistance. I don't think I would have been able to fend them off on my own."

Wren smiled from the way he heard the girl speak, "I kind of find that hard to believe given the mean right hook you threw. Nice work by the way,"

Momo blushed at his compliment but smiled nonetheless, "Why thank you. It was more of a reflex than anything."

"Well good reflexes." Wren said.

Momo smiled but then turned her head at the sound of horn honking, "Oh, my driver has arrived."

Wren raised an eyebrow in the direction the girl was looking and was flabbergasted by what he saw. A butler dressed in a full tuxedo standing beside a black stretch limo was waiting patiently for the girl to walk towards them. Wren followed the girl just to make sure she didn't get into any more trouble and was happy that she made it to the car with no worries.

Wren let out a whistle, "Damn, I didn't think you'd be such a rich girl," he said before turning to the girl, "Should I call you Milady then?"

The girl quickly waved her hands in front of her, "No, no, none of that. It isn't necessary. We are the same age so feel free to call me by my name."

Wren nodded, "I can get behind that. But we should probably introduce ourselves first," Wren held a handout, "Wren Bishop. It's a pleasure to meet you."

The girl smiled and shook his hand, "Yaoyorozu Momo. It's a pleasure to meet you Bishop-san."

The two separated and Momo clasped her hands in front of her, "If you don't mind me asking Bishop-san, what brings you to Musutafu?"

"Well, I have some of my family that live here who were happy to put me up while I take the UA Entrance Exam." Wren informed Momo, making the black-haired girl brighten up.

"You are planning on attending UA?!"

Wren nodded, "Yeah, I guess you could say I had an epiphany earlier and my desire to become a hero ignited. So, if I'm gonna be a hero, I want to be trained under the best."

Momo nodded her head a rapid pace, "I completely understand you Bishop-san! My mother herself is a hero and she has been my inspiration my entire life! I hope to become a hero that can honor her legacy!"

Momo's enthusiasm made Wren chuckle, "So I take it you are planning on attending UA as well?"

"Oh, yes, I am. But I will already be attending since I passed the Recommendation Exam."

Wren blinked, "Wow, that's incredible. Congratulations Momo."

"Oh, why thank you very much." Momo said tucking a bit of hair behind her ear.

"Momo-sama, we should really be going." Momo's driver said to her.

Momo nodded, "Oh yes, you're right," Momo said as she bowed to Wren, "Thank you again for your help Bishop-san. I want to truly wish you the best of luck in your exam."

Wren smiled and thanked Momo. She was a very nice girl and if he was lucky enough to pass the Entrance Exam, he was looking forward to meeting her again. Right before she got into the backseat of her limo, Wren stopped her for a quick second. He put his hands together and a cool, blue glow emanated from them. He pulled his hands apart to reveal a beautifully crafted rose made from ice.

"Oh my." Momo gasped out.

"Consider this a congratulatory gift for passing the Recommendation Exam. And don't worry, my ice doesn't melt as quickly as normal ice does." Wren said with a smile, handing Momo the rose.

The black haired girl smiled and took the rose in her hands, while it was cold which would be expected from ice it was also slightly warm as she held it in her hands. Momo thanked Wren who bowed to the girl and allowed the driver to close the door once Momo was inside. Wren went on his way and Momo's driver proceeded to take her home. The entire way, Momo was transfixed by the frozen ice sculpture in her hands. No one, not even her parents, had ever gifted her such an incredible item.

Momo could tell that from the small interaction that she had with Wren was special. And she hoped with all her heart that she would see him again at UA.

MHA

"Wow, this is a lot bigger than I expected."

The day had finally come for Wren to take the Entrance Exam for the infamous UA High School. The days leading up to this fateful movement went by in a flash for the young man, but he used each and every second he had to make sure he was prepared. He trained his Quirk in multiple ways that he thought would be useful to him as well as training his body by using every single technique that his mentor back in America had taught him.

Hiroto and Rintaro wished him well as did Takashi and Hinata. Hinata even said that Tenma was wishing his big brother all the best as well. Wren found it adorable, but it also gave him an added desire to pass this exam. He made his little nephew a promise that he would fight to make a world where he could grow up without a worry. And Wren was a man who kept his promises.

Wren took a deep breath to steel himself before he took his first step onto the UA campus. He had never seen the school in person, but he had seen pictures of the illustrious school multiple times online. But seeing the campus in person and actually stepping foot on the grounds was like nothing he had ever felt before.

"Long way from home huh?"

Wren looked next to him at the sound of a heavy Irish accent to see a boy his age standing a full head taller than him with long dirty blonde hair that was tied into a ponytail at the base of his skull. His skin had a healthy tan to it, his eyes were a bright emerald green, and he had a very muscular build that was emphasized by the tight, long-sleeved green shirt and khaki pants. The black boots on his feet and sliver, Celtic cross around his neck shined in the morning sun and he had a happy smile on his face as he turned to look at Wren.

Wren nodded, "Ain't that the truth. I've never even seen the ocean before a few weeks ago and now I'm standing on the grounds of UA. Feels so surreal."

The blonde boy laughed, "Aye, I feel with you on that. Minus the never seeing ocean part."

"Makes sense for you given your accent. Irish?"

The blonde boy nodded, "You know it. Born and bred on the beautiful island of Tuatha Isle in Ireland."

Wren blinked, "Can't say I've ever heard of that place before."

"Not surprising. It's a fairly small island run by a monarchy that does business with both the Irish mainland and Great Britain. My hope is that I can gain enough strength and skills to honor my homeland."

Wren had to give the Irishman respect. Like him, he left everything he knew behind to go to a different country and follow his dreams. They didn't even know if they were going to pass the exam, but they still took the chance to build up the courage and make the trek to Japan. Now they just had to see if their risk would pay off.

Wren held his hand out, "Well, I wish you the best of luck my friend. Wren Bishop, fellow foreigner, and hero hopeful."

The blonde boy nodded and gave a smile, "It's a pleasure man, Noah Gallagher. Proud Irishman at your service." He said as the two boys shook hands.

Both Wren and Noah turned away and looked towards the summit of UA. Neither of them knew what was going to happen once they set foot through those doors and took the exam but they both would take everything the school had and throw it back at them. Charging forward to make their dreams reality.

MHA

Wren had changed into his workout clothes and was now waiting in front of the enormous faux cityscape that UA had set up for the exam. He had to admit it was massive and very impressive. The cityscape itself looked like it could take several blocks in any suburban city you could find and the fact that UA made this just for the purpose of testing potential students just blew his mind.

After hearing the Pro Hero Present Mic explain the parameters of the exam, Wren thought it was a bit unfair. The exam required the examinees to face off against various villain bots in an urban setting and rack up points for the amount of robots they defeated. Each robot held a different value, and the examinees were to utilize whatever methods they had on hand to gain as many points as they could. What made Wren think the test was a little unfair was that this exam was made to showcase mainly physical abilities and nothing else. Which made the test highly unfair for those that didn't have physical Quirks and wanted to get into the hero course.

While that is what Wren thought, at the moment he had to focus on the task at hand and that was passing the entrance exam. Dressed in a pair of black workout pants, sneakers, a white sleeveless shirt, and a dark blue short-sleeved hoodie. He did a few stretches to keep himself limber and did some minor shadow boxing, all the while looking around him to see the different kinds of hero hopefuls taking the exam.

Since Noah wasn't with him, Wren took the opportunity to get a good look at the other potential students he may be spending the next three years with. There was a girl with long black hair and a black look on her face, a boy that reminded Wren of a living big foot with the unruly hair and brown fur covering his body, as well as a guy who looked like a humanoid mantis.

"Damn, Japan certainly has some colorful characters." Wren said cracking his neck. While Mutant Quirks weren't unheard of, Wren hadn't seen a lot of them when he was back in the states save for a few neighbors so seeing the different people whose Quirks weren't the kind that could just turn off was rather interesting.

The two people that caught Wren's eyes the most was a boy that had a tanned skin tone with silver and black hair and a girl with feline features and a happy grin on her face.

The boy had a solid, athletic build with his skin tone having a deep tan and his silver and black hair was shaved on the sides of his head with the rest being spiked up. His eyes were a deep hunter green, and he had a stern look on his face as he scoped out the other examinees as Wren was doing. He was dressed in a pair of grey sweatpants, dark blue sneakers, a white muscle shirt with a grey and black windbreaker over it. As the boy surveyed his surroundings, his eyes locked with Wren's, and they looked at each other for a few seconds.

Wren then inclined his head to the boy to which he did the same. The two seemingly understanding the strength each other without having to exchange words. As the two broke eye contact, Wren took a look at the girl that had caught his eyes. She had a more exotic look to her with her bronzed skin, long black hair tied into a ponytail, and a fit figure that told Wren she had done some serious training. But what drew him in the most was her eyes; her eyes weren't like any that Wren had ever seen before. The shade almost reminding him of cognac with the pupils being slit like a cats.

She had a pair of cat ears atop her head that twitched every other second as people passed by her, a striped tail swished back and forth behind her, and her sharpened canines and incisors glinted in the morning sun. Her attire seemed just as unique as she was. She was dressed in a pair of skin tight black compression pants that showcased her legs and thighs, an orange tank top highlighting her large bust, a short-sleeved zip-up sweater left open, a black choker around her neck, golden rings wrapped around her biceps, white sneakers on her feet, and her hands and forearms were wrapped in cloth similar to a Muay Thai fighter.

All in all, she definitely drew the eyes of Wren's fellow male examinees but all she did was give them a smile and wave before going back to mind her own business. The actions made Wren chuckle, almost reminding him of the way a cat would give a person attention before ignoring them completely. It was almost cute in a way, but Wren could tell just from the way she was dressed and the way she held herself that she was not to be messed with.

Wren smiled to himself, there were so many unique and diverse people here in Japan but they all shared one thing in common. They all had dreams of being heroes, and this was where their chance to make that dream come true.

"AND…BEGIN!"

Wren's head immediately snapped in the direction of the sudden call to action and saw the same tall hair of the Pro Hero Present Mic. The man had a large smile on his face just as the stone gate to the faux city slowly began to open. Not wanting to waste an opportune moment, Wren swung his arms around himself and summoned forth a miniature blizzard that lifted him off the ground. Wren smiled and leaned forward slightly, allowing the blizzard to take him forward and into the faux city. Leaving the majority of the other examinees behind.

"Hey, hey, hey now; there are now starting signals in real life! You better get a move on!"

Once Present Mic had spoken those few words, it was like the light had been lit inside the rest of the examinees and everyone rushed forward to make their way inside.

Wren had already made it into the faux cityscape and was flying down the streets to try and find as many robots as he could to rack up points. As he traversed down one of the streets, Wren came face to face with a group of 2-pointers all of whom had their red glaring eyes set on him.

Wren smirked and flew past the bots by dodging each of their attacks before landing behind them and cutting out his blizzard. He then swiped his hand forward and sent a wave of ice towards the robots that froze them instantly, stopping them in their tracks. Wren blasted the frozen robots with a burst of cold air that shattered them into pieces before releasing a breath of cold air and standing back to his full height.

"Four down, many more to go. Let's keep this going." Wren said as he turned around and saw more robots in the distance. The test had just begun, and he was going to make the most of the time he had.

MHA

"Okay, making good time. That's about 60 points I've gathered so far. Not a bad amount but let's see if I cant grab a few more before the test is over." Wren said from atop the pile of wrecked 3-pointers he had taken down.

Now that the test in full swing, there were a lot more examinees in the testing site hoping to try and pass as well. There were getting to be fewer villain bots then there were when the test began but Wren was still able to grab as many as he could whenever he saw them.

As he rounded a corner, he saw the same silver-black haired boy from the beginning of the exam standing in front of several 1-pointers. Wren was about to jump in and help the guy, but he stopped in his tracks when the boy pulled his hand back and green electricity began to form around his hand. At first Wren thought that the boy had some kind of electric Quirk but instead of summoning electricity, the metallic bodies of the villain bots were soon joined together in one large heap. The boy then clasped his hands together and swung them down, slamming the grouped together robots onto the ground.

Wren couldn't help but blink at boy's power. He thought he had skill when it came to his Quirk but the boy in front of him just exceeded any expectations that he had.

Wren approached the boy as he turned around, "Damn, Sweet Christmas man. That was impressive."

The boy crossed his arms and shrugged, "I guess so. I've been using my Quirk in ways like this my entire life. Using it in ways like this is just natural."

Wren nodded, "Yeah, I can agree with that."

The boy raised an eyebrow at Wren as if wondering what he was talking about but before he could, a duo of 2-pointers came up running behind him. Wren quickly spun on his heels and a layer of cold gathered around his hand. Wren then slammed his hand onto the ground and a frozen, ice spikes formed around him in the shape of a large white flower that pierced the 2-pointers coming at him.

"Edelweiss." Wren said as he breathed out a stream of white air from his mouth.

Wren stood up to his full height and turned around, the silver-black haired boy looking at him with an impressed look.

"Now you call me impressive but what you just did was damn incredible." He said with a smirk.

Wren smiled and willed the ice to dissolve around him, "Just like breathing dude."

The two boys shared a chuckle before they shook hands, "Wren Bishop."

"Kurogane Tetsuya."

As the two boys separated, they each shared a nod before heading off to find more points for themselves. Even though they didn't say it, the two boys had a feeling that they were going to see each other again. Their journey as heroes wouldn't end here.

MHA

Wren had just sliced through another group of robots with some swords made from ice, bringing his total up to 70 points. He was getting rather happy with his score and knew that if he really pushed, he could get a few more points but the robots were dwindling, and more and more people were getting caught in the crossfire. While Wren did want to get points from the robots, he also didn't want people to get hurt so, every now and then he would help out any other examinees that were struggling or looked like they were too injured to keep moving.

Wren may have lost a few points while he was helping people but that was who he was. He wasn't going to change the way he acted or allow people to get hurt just for the sake of getting a few extra points. Speaking of points, Wren held up his ice blades in his hands just as he was suddenly surrounded by a group of 1-pointers.

Just as he was about to attack, a loud cheering sound from above caught his attention and made him look up.

"Woo-hoo!" a lone figure landed on top of one of the 1-pointers, crushing the robot from the immense pressure of their drop. Wren and the other robots all turned to look at the new arrival and Wren was surprised to see that it was the same bronze-skinned cat girl he saw earlier.

"Man, now that was a trip!" the girl said as she stepped out from the crushed remains of the 1-pointer. While she still looked like she did when Wren saw her earlier, she appeared to have her legs covered in a layer of hardened sand armor. The sand seemingly entered back into her body reverting them back to normal.

The girl dusted off her shoulders before she looked around her and saw the robots and Wren looking at her, "Oh, hi there," she said waving at Wren, "You seem to be in a tight spot? Need any help?"

Wren smiled before dismissing his ice swords, "Thanks but I'll be okay. Although, if you don't like the cold you may want to step back a few inches."

The girl seemed to be shaken up by the thought of being surrounded by cold and immediately bolted off to the side to where she would be out of Wren's range. The 1-pointers programming seemed to finally catch up with what was going on and continued their attack on Wren. The young American crossed his arms over his chest and covered himself in a dome of ice to keep himself protected from the robot's attacks. Wren then opened up a small opening of the dome to keep his eyes on the robots before breaking his arms apart and created multiple ice spears from the dome and pierced the 1-pointers. Suspending the now nonworking robots into the air.

"Frost Phalanx." Wren said breathing out a steady stream of cold air before dismissing his ice and dropping the robots back onto the ground.

"Damn, I did not expect that attack to work." Wren said to himself. While he did practice his Quirk a lot, he didn't really take a lot of time to work on his so called Ultimate Moves as much. The only time he really did was when he arrived in Japan since his cousins thought it would be a nice trump card for him when he faced off for the exam. Turns out they were right.

"Whoa! That was insane!"

Wren turned around and saw that the girl from earlier had moved out of her hiding spot and was now closer to him with stars in her eyes.

"Now I see why you told me to get clear! I did not want to be anywhere near all that cold." She said with a smile.

Wren nodded, "Well, even if you were close, I wouldn't have frozen you. I have enough control of my range to where I can still freeze a certain area and not get any nearby people caught in it."

The girl tilted her head in confusion, "So why did you tell me to get clear?"

"Cause cats don't like cold."

The girl blinked several times before letting out a fit of giggles, "Oh, wow, okay, that I did not expect! No one ever actually takes my Quirk into consideration when they first meet me!" she said out still giggling.

Wren shrugged with a smile, "I've met other people with feline related Quirks so when I saw your ears and your tail, I figured you must have had some kind of cat Quirk. Although, I didn't expect the whole sand armor thing."

The girl was able to stop her laughing fit for a few moments to catch her breath and nodded, "Yes, that's something I inherited from my dad. Oh, my name's Sayo by the way. Sakaki Sayo." She said with a cute wave.

Wren gave Sayo a two finger salute, "Wren Bishop, at your service Sakaki-san." He said giving a dramatic bow which made Sayo giggle.

In the corner of Wren's eye, he saw that a 2-pointer was sneaking up on Sayo and was about to strike her with its robotic tail. Wren grabbed her in his arms, spun her out of the way, and sent a wave of ice spikes at the robot that cleaved it in two.

Wren breathed out more frost and looked at Sayo who was still in his arms, "Are you okay?"

Sayo nodded, unable to speak due to the close proximity she was to the handsome, dark skinned boy. Sayo was usually very confident when she was around boys her age due to her mother's career and the number of times, she had been hit on but Wren felt different. Maybe it was the fact that he wasn't like the normal boys she had met.

In any case, he was a very interesting boy.

Wren let Sayo out of his arms and the two smiled at each other, they seemed to feel very comfortable around each other. Before they could talk to each other anymore, a large shaking shook through the entire faux city. Sayo and Wren turned around to see the one obstacle that they did not expect.

"Sweet Christmas is that the…" Wren blinked.

"It's the 0-pointer. This was not what I was expecting when Present Mic told us about the exam." Sayo said with a scared tone in her voice.

"Neither was I. But regardless of what we're seeing, there's no way that we can take that thing on in these conditions. We need to get as much space as we can from that thing and found cover. Let's go!" Wren said as he grabbed Sayo's hand and ran away from the 0-pointer as fast as they could.

The duo got as far away as they could, but they unfortunately couldn't get away from the giant monstrosity that was after them. Even though the 0-pointer was slow, the sheer size of it was what made getting away from it a struggle. Wren led Sayo to a wrecked building that acted as a piece of cover that shielded them from the 0-pointer's path.

"This is insane. I get that UA wants to see if we have the qualities for being heroes, but this is just crazy!" Wren said as he took a deep breath.

"Not to mention that thing could cause some serious injuries to anyone that falls behind." Sayo said, tightening her hold on Wren's hand. Not even caring about the possibly awkward situation they could find themselves in.

Wren nodded and looked around them, thankfully they seemed to be out of the 0-pointer's range and line of sight so that was one less thing to worry about. Poking his head out from his cover, Wren took a look at the giant robot's path and his blood ran cold. Smack dab in the middle of the road, large gash on his head, and seemingly fading in and out of consciousness was the young man that Wren had met earlier.

"TETSUYA!" Wren yelled out in fear. He let go of Sayo's hand and immediately rushed over to Tetsuya's side. The young man was groaning and was doing his best to try and get up but the blow he took to the head was just too serious for him to move.

Wren knelt next to the boy and rolled him onto his back, "Damn Tetsuya, you really got yourself into some trouble here, didn't you?" he said.

Tetsuya gave off a wry chuckle, "Yeah, not my proudest moment."

The fact that Tetsuya was responsive and still speaking was a good sign, but Wren still had to be careful when he was moving him to try and not make his injury worse. Wren threw Tetsuya's arm over his shoulder and had him lean on him so he could keep Tetsuya's weight on him. Wren summoned a blizzard below his feet and used that to move both him and Tetsuya back to the cover where Wren was.

"That was insane Wren-kun." Sayo said as Wren set Tetsuya down against the wall of a nearby building.

"Maybe but I wasn't going to leave him out there like that." Wren said as he ripped a piece of his shirt off and made a quick tourniquet to wrap around Tetsuya's head.

"Well, this is embarrassing." Tetsuya said with his voice slurring slightly. Wren may not have been a doctor or had any kind of medical training but with his mother's profession had taught him how to do some basic first aid.

"Just rest here my friend, I'd rather have you sleeping off an injury then not have you breathing." Wren said getting a wry chuckle out of Tetsuya.

"Well, it's good that your friend is out of the 0-pointer's path but that still doesn't exactly fix the current situation right now." Sayo said.

Wren couldn't help but agree, with the way things were looking, the longer that they stayed so close to the 0-pointer would either end up with them getting hurt or trapped by some debris.

Wren poked his head and took a look at the 0-pointer, it was still on its path towards the rest of the examinees and from the way things were looking, it wasn't going to stop until the exam ended.

Wren let out a breath of air, "Well, only one thing to do at this point."

Wren steeled himself and ran out from his cover right towards the 0-pointer. Sayo did her best to stop him, but he ignored her pleas and ran right into the path of the 0-pointer. Just as he was about to near it, he summoned the blizzard below his feet once more and rode that all the up the metallic body of the massive robot. Wren had used his blizzard to increase his mobility, but he had never really used it to climb up a surface of any kind.

Doing it in this kind of situation was definitely a gamble but as like the saying went, go big or go home. Wren continued to climb the 0-pointer's body, having to switch between using his blizzard and just climbing bare handed due to the strain of constantly using his Quirk could sometimes cause him. Once he finally reached the neck of the 0-pointer, Wren hauled himself up until he was standing on top of the robot itself.

Wren took a deep breath before freezing himself to the robot's head so he wouldn't fall off, "Oh boy, I really hope this works."

Wren knelt down and placed both hands upon the metallic frame of the robot and closed his eyes. He dug deep. Deep inside himself to the source of his powers. The strength that he received from both of his parents. The true power of cold.

"Dad, if you're looking over me now, I hope you can help me through this."

As soon as those words left Wren's mouth, he opened his eyes summoned a massive blizzard around him. This wasn't really something he was doing as an attack at the 0-pointer but mainly for the fact that doing this method around his entire body lowered his ambient temperature, making him ideal for what he was about to do right now.

Wren let the blizzard overcome him and cover the different parts of his body in a layer of frost, which not only gave him the strength he needed but also made him incredibly exhausted. A side effect of overusing his Quirk was that he could become engulfed in the massive amount of cold around him could cause him to fall into a state similar to hypothermia. While Wren himself was immune to cold, he was still human and there was a limit to how much his body could withstand. And right now, he was pushing the limits of how much he could take.

Shivering slightly, Wren concentrated on all the cold that was coursing through his body into his hands and pushed out everything he had inside him. With a mighty roar, Wren let loose his cold and froze the 0-pointer instantly in a cloud of white smoke. All eyes suddenly turned to the now frozen monstrosity and the person who made it possible.

Sayo looked up at the frozen 0-pointer all the way to the top of its head where Wren was now getting back on his feet. Despite only seeing a small fraction of him due to how far away he was from her, she could still make out his figure.

"Wow, I did not expect that coming from Wren. He sure is full of surprises." She said with the tiniest amount of color on her cheeks. Wren's strength and his obvious handsomeness was not lost on her but that would be something to figure out for another time.

Wren let out a long, deep breath which made the entire air around his head practically freeze into ice, "Damn, that took more out of me than I thought." He said as he unfroze himself from the 0-pointer's head which proved to be more of a challenge then he thought. The frost covering his body slowly began to thaw but his energy was drained, and he could start to feel his consciousness fade.

'Damn.' Wren thought as his vision went black and he began to fall from the robot. The rushing of air whistled past his ears as his body went limp, he knew that with how exhausted his body was, there was no way he could stop himself from falling.

Just as he was about to hit the concrete a burst of cold wind hit his back and slowed his fall to where he landed on the concrete and didn't hurt himself. Even though he wasn't 100% sure why, Wren couldn't help but smile. The familiar feeling of being lifted off the ground by cold wind somehow brought a sense of peace to his mind and only one thought coursed through his brain.

'Dad.' Wren thought before effectively passing out.

MHA

Wren was currently lying on his bed in his cousin's house listening to his favorite R&B songs. The smooth grooves and bluesy tones always seemed to put him at ease. When he listened to this back at home, his mother would say it was his father's heritage being an influence on him. Wren didn't know a lot about his dad except for what his mother told him and what he read online but his mother did say that the two of them met in the city of Harlem.

Maybe there was more of his dad in him than he thought.

After he passed out in the Exam, Wren woke up in the infirmary with Sayo and Tetsuya in beds beside him. Tetsuya was receiving treatment for his head wound while Sayo had severely dehydrated herself by overusing her Quirk in the last few moments. The three of them laughed at how they all seemed to help each other but end up in the infirmary at the same time. After they had all received a green bill of health they left and headed to their own homes but not before exchanging numbers and being pulled into a group selfie by Sayo which she shared with the other boys.

After all that, a week had passed since the exam and Wren was getting antsy. His dream of becoming a hero hinged on whether or not he got a passable score and right now he wanted to know if he made it or not. If he didn't, he wouldn't know what he would do.

Other than the exam results, there was another thing that was nagging at the back of Wren's mind. Right before he hit the ground, Wren felt a small blast of cold air at his back that slowed his descent. He couldn't be sure but that may have been his father helping him to make sure that he didn't die from the fall. And if it was, then did that mean his father had been looking after his all this time.

His thoughts were interrupted when a knock at his door caught his attention, Wren got up, turned off his music, and opened the door to reveal Hiroto standing in his doorway.

"What's up Hiro-nii?" Wren asked.

The elder boy smirked and handed Wren a white envelope with the UA seal on it, making Wren's eyes go wide.

"Time to find out if you made the grade little brother," Hiroto said handing the envelope to Wren, "We'll be out her after you find out your results."

Wren nodded and Hiroto closed the door, Wren took a deep breath to calm his nerves before heading over to his bed. He sat down cross legged and opened the envelope, not wanting to waste anymore time. Inside the envelope wasn't a letter but it was a small, round, golden disk. Wren looked the device over in his hands but as he was about to put it near his eye, a bright flash stopped him, and he placed the disk on his bed.

"I…Am…Here, as a projection!" The booming voice of the Japanese Number 1 Hero All Might sounded throughout his room as the man himself appeared as a projection in front of him.

"Woah, All Might. I did not see that coming." Wren blinked. While he wasn't as versed in Japanese Heroes as most other kids his age would be he did know how big of a person All Might was both physically and impactfully.

"Greetings Young Bishop, I am here to tell you the results of your entrance exam! Why, may you ask?! That's because I am going to be teaching at UA this year!"

Wren smiled and let out a small chuckle, "Damn, in terms of teachers I don't think it could get any better than the Symbol of Peace himself."

"Now, in terms of your written test, nice work. Your scores are rather admirable just work on your math skills, okay?" All Might said with a thumbs up making Wren groan. He never did have any luck with numbers.

"As for your Physical exam, my word Young Bishop, you are full of surprises, aren't you? You took down several different robots, assisted your fellow examinees when they were in trouble, aided in getting the examinees that had fallen behind to a safe distance when danger encroached, and even managed to defeat the 0-pointer by freezing it in a location where it wouldn't harm anyone else even if it did fall!" He exclaimed as he showed clips of Wren acted in the exam including how he froze the 0-pointer.

"I actually just got lucky on the 0-pointer's location." Wren said rubbing the back of his head.

"You showcased the merits of a hero in multiple ways and did some of the best work I have seen from any applicants in a very long time! Your actions earned you a considerable amount of villain points as well as the hidden hero points, we observers were looking out for. Which makes me very proud to announce that you have been admitted to UA High's Hero Course!"

A screen showing the results of the top ten with Wren's name being at the top, seeing that there was only a 1 point difference between him and the guy who placed second. But Wren seemed to trump the guy when it came to hero points.

"Welcome to your Hero Academia, Wren Bishop."

With that All Might's image vanished and Wren was left dumbstruck, not only did he make it into UA, but he took the top spot. Now he could begin his plan to become a hero and go back to the States as a Pro, to keep the next generation that will come after him safe from the terrors that may come their way.

Wren couldn't help but smile, "I made it. I FUCKING MADE IT!" he shouted at the top of his lungs with pure joy. Not even caring that he may have sounded like an idiot. He had passed the first step of becoming a hero now he just had to get through high school.

This should be an interesting three years.

MHA

Standing on top of Wren's building, his father was grinning ear to ear as he heard his son cheer in joy from the results of his entrance exam. He knew it was a risk to help his son when he fell from the 0-pointer but when it came to their children, parents tended to act a little crazy.

"Well done my boy. You have crossed the starting line towards your dream and now it looks like it's becoming a reality. Fight well and stay strong, your cold will not be melted so easily."
