Chapter 8: Breaking Point

Stuttgart, Germany:

It turns out they had arrived just in time. Loki had just made a big showing of forcing people to kneel to him, and someone had the bravery to stand up to him. Steve quickly ran to the back of the Quinjet and leapt out, blocking Loki's attempted execution of the old man, and amusingly, managing to deflect the blast right back into the arrogant god's midsection, dropping him like a rock.

"You know, the last time I was in Germany, and saw a man standing above everyone else, we ended up disagreeing." Steve announced, as he approached. The people watching the scene were emboldened by seeing a living Legend, and many began to stand.

Loki, getting back up to his feet, gave a small smirk. "The Soldier. The man out of time."

"You're the one who's out of time..." Steve replied, as Natasha pulled the Quinjet into position above them, and Adora leapt down to join him.

"Loki! Stand Down." Natasha announced, as she armed the Quinjet's weapons. "Put down the scepter and surrender yourself!"

Loki responded to the surrender order by firing a blast from his scepter at the Quinjet, which Nat thankfully dodged. Steve immediately went on the offensive and threw his shield, striking Loki in the chest as Adora sprinted over and delivered a flying haymaker across Loki's face. Steve caught the Shield as it rebounded off Loki and also landed a punch on the god. Loki retaliated with a stafe strike, that Steve blocked, before knocking the shield arm aside and hitting him with the butt of his staff. Adora delivered a kick to the back of Loki's knee, and as he stumbled he swung for her face, which she swiftly dodged. Steve recovered from Loki's attack and threw his Shield again, which this time, Loki deflected. He charged Loki and engaged him in a fist fight, easily dodging his attacks and countering with his own. Adora also joined in, throwing punches whenever she can get them in.

When Loki was open, Adora attempted a Hurricanrana on him, but Loki managed to toss her to the ground midway through the attack. Steve delivered a kidney punch in retaliation, but Loki barely seemed phased and in a single move, spun around Steve and struck him in the back with his staff. He marched over and pushed on Steve's head with the bottom of the staff.

"Kneel..." he commanded.

Steve responded by shoving the staff aside, "Not Today!" he yelled out, before nailing Loki in the face with a leaping roundhouse. Adora recovered from being slammed into the ground and also joined in on beating Loki down. Despite two super soldiers coming at him at the same time, he was surprisingly able to keep them somewhat at bay.

And then that's when the rock music started playing, causing an irritated groan from Adora. Just as she thought, Tony came rocketing out of the sky and blasted Loki with his repulsers, landing near the two super-soldiers and taking aim with an insane number of weapons. "Your move reindeer games." he coldly said.

Loki, wisely, made his armor disappear in a gold glow and put his hands in the air.

"Good move." Tony deadpanned as Adora walks over and cuffed Loki.

Steve walked up beside Tony and nodded, "Mr. Stark." he greeted calmly

"Captain. Agent Greyskull." Tony replied just as calmly.

Soon the Quinjet was on the way back to the helicarrier, Loki sitting silently in one of the seats, as Natasha reported in the mission to Fury.

"Is he saying anything?" Fury asked. Natasha informed him he hadn't said a word since he boarded. "Keep me posted, we're running out of time."

Adora kept her eye on Loki the whole time. She was unnerved to just look at him. He seemed like a normal guy all things considered, but knew that under that handsome face was a psychopath, a monster who had taken Clint from her. In a way looking at him reminded her of Doctor Santos. Loki simply gave her a smirk, he must have picked up on the anger in her face.

"I don't like it." she overheard Steve saying.

"What, Rock of Ages giving up so easily?" Tony replied.

"I don't remember it being easy." Steve said, look back at the two. "This guy packs a wallop."

"Still you're pretty spry for an old man." Tony quipped, and Steve gave him a look. "What's your secret, Pilates?" When Steve reacted incredulously, Tony tried again, "It's like Calisthenics. You might have missed a few things, doing time as a Capsicle."

Steve barely even reacted before saying, "Fury didn't tell me he was calling you in."

"Yeah well there's a lot of things Fury doesn't tell you." Tony replied, and frankly Adora had to concede that he had a point.

Suddenly a lightning storm was raging around them, "Where is this coming from?" Natasha asked, mostly to herself. Adora was immediately on edge. The skies were clear earlier, and if a storm just suddenly began, she had a horrible idea what was about to happen.

Even Loki looked scared.

Steve noticed and asked him, "Whats the matter? You scared of a little lightning?"

"I'm..not overly fond of what follows." Loki replied, and suddenly the Quinjet shook as if something had struck it. Steve quickly pulled his mask on and Tony grabbed his helmet, walking over and opening the back hatch. Sure enough, Thor landed on the ramp and knocked Tony down with his hammer. Before Adora could react, Thor grabbed Loki and flew off with him.

"And then there's this guy…" Tony growled and Adora punched the side of the jet.

"God dammit Thor!" she yelled out.

Natasha looked behind her. Trying to steady the plane. "Another Asgardian?"

"That guy a friendly?" Cap quickly asked.

"I wish, Steve this is bad news." Adora added, getting up.

Tony agreed. "Doesn't matter, if he frees Loki or kills him the Tesseract's lost." he said, heading for the back hatch.

"Stark! We need a plan of attack!" Steve shouted trying to reason with him.

"I have a plan. Attack" Stark replied blasting out of the back of the Quinjet. Steve quickly grabbed a Parachute.

"I'd sit this one out Cap, these two come from legend, they're basically gods." Natasha shouted.

"There's only one god ma'am, and I'm fairly sure he doesn't dress like that." replied Steve as he leapt out the back.

Adora quickly grabbed another parachute. "Adora don't you dare." Natasha said.

Adora looked up. "Sorry Nat. A fight's about to break out. I gotta make sure Loki doesn't try to run. You can give me crap about this later!" she replied before joining Steve out the back of the hatch.

Adora landed the parachute on a plataeu, where Loki was looking over the forest. She quickly drew her handgun and pressed it to his head. "Stay right there Loki." she growled.

Loki chuckled to her and leaned back. "Why would I leave? I'm enjoying the show." he claimed motioning to Tony and Thor fighting in the middle of the forest. Adora groaned in frustration. "You seem on edge young one. What is it that vexes you so." Loki then added with a hint of mockery. "Perhaps...it is Barton? Yes, he's talked about you."

Adora kept her gun trained on Loki watching the fight from above. She was very impressed seeing Thor in action at his full power but Iron man wasn't a pushover either She tried her best to tune out the talking God.

"He's mentioned your poor, sad past. Your horrible parental figure, I can sympathize." Loki continued to push, "He even mentioned your dear Catr-"

Adora shut him up quickly by bashing him across the face with her pistol. "Keep talking. I dare you. We need you alive but I'm willing to knock your arrogant ass out if you keep trying to push my buttons!" she yelled out in uncharacteristic anger. Loki, after rubbing his face just smirked.

"Did I strike a nerve?"

Before things could escalate further the two were floored by a shockwave. Adora scrambled to the edge, and noticed the cause. Thor has slammed Mjolnir against Steve's Shield, leveling a large section of the forest and knocking everyone but Steve flat.

"Are we done here?" he asked, as Natasha managed to bring the Quinjet back. Adora collected herself and practically dragged Loki aboard. Thor chose to join them, prompting Adora to give him a look.

"Lady of Grey Skulls?"

"Hey Thor. Don't steal our prisoner again please? We can catch up later."

Thor had decided to join the group as they arrived aboard the Helicarrier, Loki quickly being passed off to Nick fury and lead to a prison cell deep in the ship. Thor, Steve, Natasha, Bruce and Adora gathered on the bridge. As they walked, Thor began to converse with Adora. "It's been some time Lady of Grey Skull."

"Just Adora's fine, thank you..." she responded tensely.

"You seem….shaken. Not as focused as when we fought. Are you alright?" Thor asked in concern.

"Let's see, we fought a crazy Asgardian sorcerer, his brother showed up and took him away, and my buddy Steve had to break up a fight between said brother and a narcissist in a Toaster. Yeah I'm on edge." Adora replied, "Loki opening his mouth didn't help."

"You spoke with Loki? My dear, are you alright? Loki is a master with words, he knows how to say the right things to vex a person." Thor asked, gently (for him) patting her on the back. Adora sighed deeply.

"Yeah I'd say he sure freaking 'vexed' me alright." she admitted. Once they all weregathered around the table, they watched Fury putting Loki in a large glass cell.

"In case it's unclear," Fury began, typing into a console, "If you try to escape, if you so much as scratch that glass," the hatch beneath the cell opened, Adora being surprised at the lengths SHIELD went with the cell. "It's 30,000 feet, straight down in a steel trap. You get how that works?" Fury finished explaining, shutting the hatch. "Ant, Boot." he stated, motioning from Loki to the console with each word. Adora felt she was missing an in-joke there.

Unnervingly, Loki merely chuckled. "Its an Impressive trap. Not built for me I think." he said stepping to the middle of the cell.

"Built for something stronger than you." Fury admitted. Adora silently winced realizing the meaning behind his words, as she looked to Dr. Banner.

"Oh. I've heard." Loki smugly said looking directly at the camera. "A mindless beast, still making play that he is a man. How desperate are you, that you call upon such lost creatures to defend you." he said, monologuing like some cartoon villain.

"How desperate am I?" Fury said, shocked Loki needed to even ask. He slowly approached the cell. "You threaten my world with war. You steal a power you can't even hope to control. You talk of peace, yet you kill because it's fun." He neared the cell and looked Loki right in the eye. "You've made me VERY desperate. You might not be glad that you did."

Loki was again completely unfazed. "Ooh, It burns you to have come so close. To have the Tesseract, to have power. Unlimited power. And for what?" Loki looked at the camera again, "A warm light, for all mankind to share? And then to be reminded what real power is..."

It was now Fury's turn to be unfazed, as he turned to leave.

"Yeah well let me know if 'real power' wants a magazine or something."

And with that, connection to the Cells was ended. And Bruce had the perfect summary of the situation. "Well, he really grows on you doesn't he."

"I much prefer villains like Hordak. At least he was ridiculous..." Adora dryly commented.

"Loki's gonna drag this out," Steve noted, looking up. "So, Thor what's his play?"

Thor, who had been quiet since they reached the deck, began. "He has an army called the are not from Asgard, nor any world known."

"Oh great, more goddamn aliens..." Adora commented under her breath.

Thor continued. "He means to lead them against your people. They will win him Earth, in turn, I presume, for the Tesseract."

Steve was incredulous. "An Army. From Outer space?"

Bruce removed his glasses. "Then he's building another portal. That's what he needs Erik Selvig for." he noted.

Thor looked up. "Selvig?" he asked.

"He's an Astrophysicist" Bruce responded.

"He's a Friend." Thor said.

"Loki has him under a spell." Natasha explained.

Adora chimed in next, "Along with one of ours. Clint Barton."

Steve spoke up again, "What I want to know is why Loki let us get him. He's not leading an army from in here"

"I don't think we should be focused on Loki," Bruce said, "That guys brain is a bag full of cats, you can smell the crazy on him."

"Have Care how you speak!" Thor snapped, "Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard. And he is my brother."

Natasha just gave him a look, "He killed 80 people in two days…." she deadpanned.

Thor simply hung his head. "He's adopted." he added.

"I think it's about the mechanics." Bruce said, pointedly. "Iridium...what do they need the Iridium for?"

"It's a stabilizing agent." a new voice spoke up, as Tony walked in with Phil. He seemed to be discussing something quietly to Phil before turning back to the group. "It means the portal won't collapse in on itself. Like it did at SHIELD." he explained. Then he walked over to Thor, "No hard feelings Point Break. You got a mean swing." he said, patting Thor on the arm and walking past, before continuing. "Also, it means the portal can open as wide, and stay open as long as Loki wants." Tony walked up to the consoles Fury would often stand at. "Raise the Mizzenmast, jib the topsails." he deadpanned, prompting Adora's head to meet the table in annoyance. "That man is playing Galaga!" He suddenly announced, pointing at a random crew-mate. Bang went Adora's forehead again. "He thought we wouldn't notice. But we did." Acting like his usual self, Stark then covered one of his eyes, and looked at the consoles. "How does Fury even see these?"

"He turns..." Agent Maria Hill said, sounding as fed up as Adora.

"Sounds exhausting." Tony quipped, typing something into the console. "The Rest of the materials Agent Barton can easily get his hands on. The only major component he still needs, is a power source of high-energy density." Adora could swear she saw his hand move under the console but wasn't sure. "Something to kick-start the cube."

"When did you become an expert in Thermonuclear astrophysics." Hill asked.

"Last Night." Tony replied, smugness in his voice. "The packet, Selvigs notes, the Extraction theory paper. Am I the only one who did the reading?"

Steve tried to get things back on track. "Does Loki need any particular power source?"

"He would need to heat the cube to 120-Million Kelvin just to break through the Coulomb Barrier." Bruce explained, and Adora just looked at the two talking, TRYING to follow.

"Unless Selvig has figured out how to stabilize the quantum tunneling effect?" Tony added.

"Well if he did that he could achieve heavy ion fusion at any reactor on the planet." Bruce replied.

"Finally, someone who speaks English." Tony said, motioning at Bruce as he walked over.

Steve exchanged glances with Adora, "Is that what just happened?"

Adora shrugged. "I'm as lost as you are."

"Its good to meet you Dr. Banner." Tony said, shaking his hand. "Your work on antielectron collisions is unparalleled. And I'm a huge fan of how you lose control and turn into an enormous green rage-monster." he added, surprising Adora with the audacity. Bruce only gave a nervous 'Thanks' before Fury made it back.

"Banner is only here to track the cube. I was hoping you might join him?" Fury explained.

Steve nodded, "I'd start with that stick of his. It may be magical but it works a lot like a HYDRA weapon." he explained.

"Well I don't know about that but it IS powered by the cube." Fury replied, "And I would really like to know how Loki used it to turn two of the sharpest men I've known into his personal flying monkeys." Adora raised an eyebrow, not expecting Fury to make, of all things, a Wizard of Oz reference.

"Monkeys? I do not understand." A confused Thor said.

"I do!" Steve chimed in, prompting Adora AND Tony to roll their eyes. "I understood that reference."

"Good for you Steve..." she deadpanned.

Tony and Bruce then left the room to begin tracking the cube. Adora couldn't help but notice one of the crew members switching to Galaga on his monitor. I guess Tony wasn't just being a pain. she thought.

Adora and Steve decided to check on the two geniuses as they worked. And what they walked in on was a surprise to say the least.

"Sorry but the last time I was in New York, I kind of broke….Harlem." Bruce said in response to an unheard question.

"Well I promise a stress free environment. No Tension, No surprises." Tony said before jabbing something into Bruce's side giving a slight shock and brief yell of Ow. Tony seemed to be looking at Bruce's eyes. "Really? Nothing?"

Adora's hand quickly bolted to her holster in worry of a Code Green. She was about to scream at Tony. Steve beat her to it. "HEY! Are you nuts?!" he asked in concern.

"Jury's out, you've really got a lid on it haven't you. Whats your secret, Mellow Jazz? Bongo Drums? Huge bag of weed?" Tony asked Bruce, seeming to ignore Steve.

"Is everything a joke to you?" Steve asked.

"Funny things are"

"Threatening the safety of everyone on this ship isn't funny! No offense Doc." Adora chimed in.

Bruce gave a small, nervous smile. "It's okay, I wouldn't be aboard if I couldn't handle pointy things."

"You're tip-toeing big man." Tony stated walking around the table. "You need to learn to strut."

"And you need to focus on the problem Mr. Stark." Steve retorted.

"You don't think I am?" Tony replied, pulling a bag of blueberries out from behind something. "Why did Fury call us in? Why now? Why not before? What isn't he telling us?" He explained. Adora had to admit he had a point and moved her hand off her holster. "I can't do the equation if I don't have all the variables."

"You think Fury's hiding something?" Steve Asked. Adora began to listen intently.

"Captain. He's a spy, he's THE spy. Even his secrets have secrets." Tony explained, eating a handful. "It's even bugging him isn't it?" he asked motioning to Bruce.

Bruce nervously attempted to change the subject, though with some prodding from Steve and Adora he took off his glasses and took a breath. "'A Warm Light for alll mankind.' Loki's jab to Fury about the cube." he motioned to Stark. "I think that was meant for you." Tony smiling, offered Bruce some blueberries, which he reluctantly took. "Even if Barton didn't tell Loki about the Tower, it was all over the news."

"Stark tower? That big ugly..." Steve began, before seeing the look Tony gave him, "...Building in New York?"

"It's powered by an Arc Reactor. A Self sustaining Energy source." Bruce explained. "That building will run itself for, what, a year?"

"It's just the prototype." Tony replied, "I'm kind of the only name in clean energy right now. That's what he's getting at."

"So, why didn't SHIELD bring him in on the Tesseract project." Bruce answered, and Adora's eyes widened. That was a good point, Tony could have probably harnessed the Tesseract's energy a while ago. "What are they doing in the energy business in the first place?" Another good point.

"I should probably look into that once my decryption program finishes breaking into all SHIELD's secure files." Tony added Causing a glare from Adora.

"I'm sorry did you just say..." Steve began before Tony interrupted him.

"JARVIS has been running it since I hit the bridge. In a few minutes I'll know every dirty little secret SHIELD has to hide." Tony explained, offering Steve and Adora from the bag.

"Yet you're confused about why they don't want you around?" Steve growled.

"Yeah and I hope you realize I can arrest you for that Stark.." an equally angry Adora replied.

"An intelligence agency that fears intelligence? Historically not awesome." tony said, justifying himself.

"I think Loki's trying to wind us up. This is a man who intends to start a war, and if we don't focus he'll succeed." Steve replied, though his voice wavered a bit, "We have our orders, we should follow them."

"Following's not really my style." Tony quipped eating more from his snack bag.

"You're all about style aren't you." Steve said.

Tony made a show of thinking, "Of all the people in this room, which one is A. In a Spangly outfit, B. Not a SHIELD Agent, and C. Not of any use?" he stated.

Bruce piped up, "Steve, Adora, tell me none of this smells funky to you?"

Steve thought about it a moment and walked out. "Just find the cube." he replied, Adora walking after him.

As they left Adora could hear tony deadpanning, "That's the guy my dad never shut up about?"

Adora grabbed Steve's arm. "I hate to say it, I really hate to agree with him but...he has a point. Even I'm in the dark about most of this." she said to him.

Steve thought about it a moment and motioned for her to follow him. "Let's see what Fury's hiding..."

Adora lead him to the Secure Storage room of the Helicarrier. Steve attempted the wrench open the door with his bare hands, straining a bit.

"Here let me, old man." Adora quipped, helping him pull the door open. "I'd use my keycard but even I don't have access here."

Steve and Adora crept into the room, and began going through all of the creates. Eventually, Adora came across one that made her blood boil. "Steve...does this thing look familiar to you..."

Loki paced in his cell before smirking as he noticed someone standing outside. "There's not many people who can sneak up on me." he said with a smirk.

Natasha had entered the brigs and stood outside the cell, calmly. "But you knew I'd come."

"After." Loki admitted, "After whatever tortures Fury can concoct, you would appear as a friend, a balm. And I would cooperate." he gave a large smug smirk.

"I want to know what you've done to Agent Barton." she stated, matter of factly.

"I'd like to think I've opened his mind." Loki replied.

Natasha scoffed, "And once you've won," she began, walking towards the cell, "Once you're king of the mountain, what happens to his mind."

"Oh, is this love, Agent Romanoff?" Loki asked, still smriking.

"Love is for children, I owe him a debt." she replied stoically.

"Children like Adora? Well then...Tell me." Loki replied, walking back to the center of the cell.

Natasha tried to not let the comment about Adora get to her. "Before I worked for SHIELD, I uh… well I made a name for myself." she explained, sitting in a folding chair. "I have a very specific skill set. I didn't care who I used it for, or on. I got on SHIELD's radar in a bad way. Agent Barton was sent to kill me. He made a different call."

Loki chuckled, sitting on a bench in the cell. "And what will you do if I vow to spare him?" he asked.

"Not let you out." Natasha started, before Loki spoke up again.

"No, but I like this." he smirked. "Your world in the balance and you bargain for one man?"

"Regimes fall every day." Natasha retorted, "I tend not to weep over that, I'm Russian. Or I was."

"And what are you now?" Loki asked.

"It's really not that complicated," Natasha began, standing back up. "I've got red in my ledger. I'd like to wipe it out." She crossed her arms as she stared down Loki.

"Can You?" Loki asked, "Can you wipe out that much red? Dreykov's daughter. Sao Paulo. The hopsital fire?" he began to stand as Natasha's face began to fall. "Barton told me everything. Your ledger is dripping, it's GUSHING red." he approached the glass. "And you think being motherly to one child, Saving one man no more virtuous than yourself will change anything? This is the basest sentimentality. This is a child at prayer. Pathetic! You lie and kill in the service of liars and killers. You pretend to be separate, have your own code, something that makes up for the horrors. But they are part of you. And they will never go away." he slammed a fist on the glass. "I won't touch Barton. Not until I make him gut your pretty blond 'daughter' in front of your eyes, not until I make him kill you, slowly, intimately, in every way he knows you fear. And then he'll wake just long enough to see his good work. And when he screams, I'll split his skull. THIS is my bargain you mewling quim."

Horrified, Natasha turned and walked away fro m the glass, trying to compose herself. Sniffling, she simply could say, "You're a monster."

"Oh no, you've brought the monster." he replied.

This was exactly what Natasha was hoping for. He fell for her act, hook line and sinker. She turned and faced him, "So. Banner. That's your play?"

"What…?" Loki couldn't believe what he was hearing.

Natasha quickly hurried to the door, hand to her earpiece. "Loki means to unleash the Hulk. Keep Banner in the lab until I arrive. Send Thor as well." She stopped at the door and faced Loki. "Thank you for your cooperation." She turned on her heel and left.

Adora and Steve made it to the lab as Fury was confronting Tony. Tony nopticed a file coming up, "Fury, what is Phase two."

Steve slammed what they'd found, a HYDRA cannon, on the table. "Phase 2 is SHIELD uses the cube to make weapons!" he announced, looking at Tony. "Sorry, computer was going a bit slow for us."

"Wanna explain yourself Fury?!" Adora yelled, angry she'd been left in the dark and lied to.

Fury went into damage control. "Rogers, Greyskull, we gathered everything related to the Tesseract. That does not mean we're-"

Tony however turned a monitor around, showing blueprints for a missle. "I'm sorry Nick, what were you lying?"

"I was wrong director. The world hadn't changed at all." Steve growled.

Bruce noticed Natasha and Thor entering. "Did you know about this?"

"You wanna think about removing yourself from this environment doctor?" she replied.

"Answer the fucking question Natasha!" Adora shouted.

"I was in Calcutta, I was pretty removed." Bruce also replied.

"Loki is trying to manipulate you." she replied.

"And you've been doing what exactly?" Bruce retorted motioning to the monitor.

"I didn't bat my eyelashes to get you to come." Natasha stated.

"I'm not going to leave just because you get twitchy! What I want to know is why SHIELD is using the cube to build weapons of Mass destruction!" Bruce said as he pointed to the schematics.

"Because of him." Fury replied, as he pointed to Thor. "Last year a town in New Mexico was nearly leveled by a grudge match between gods. It was then we realized we are hopelessly, hilariously, outgunned."

"My people want nothing but peace with your planet." Thor retorted.

"But you're not the only people out there are you?" Fury pointed out, "And you're not the only threat. The World is filling up with people who can't be matched, can't be controlled."

Soon, the entire room erupted into arguing, but Adora tuned it out, as she glared at Natasha. Her head got heavy, slightly hazy, but all she could think of was her anger.

"You gonna say when you planned to tell me you were LYING Nat?" she yelled.

"Young lady this is not the time to-"

"THEN WHEN IS IT?! When you were going to actually start trusting me, huh?! You still don't trust me because of my past? Is that why SHIELD doesn't seem to be doing fucking anything to help Catra?!" she yelled out.

"We're doing everything we can for your friend, it's not our fault you didn't capture her when you had the chance."

"DON'T YOU DARE BLAME ME! I'm not the one who chased her off! I'm the one who's waited TWO YEARS for you to help her! If Santos killed her it's SHEILD's fault!"

"Agent Romanoff please move Banner somewhere more secure-" Nick began.

"Where you rented out my room." Bruce growled.

"The cell was just in case-"

"In case you needed to kill me. You can't! I know, I TRIED!" Bruce yelled out, silencing everyone. "I got real low. I didn't see an end, so I put a bullet in my mouth and the other guy spit it back out. So I moved on. I was focused on helping people, I was good. But then you dragged me back to this freak show and put everyone here at risk. You wanna know my secret Agent Romanoff?"

Adora gripped her pistol. Same as Natasha as Bruce moved.

"Doctor Banner. Put down the scepter." Steve said calmly.

Bruce hadn't even noticed he grabbed the scepter. Adora was horrified realizing what just happened and what she just said. "Nat...I-" She was interrupted by the computers beeping.

The Cube was found.

"Sorry kids you don't get to see my party trick." Bruce said putting the scepter down.

People were abuzz as the Tesseract was Located. Tony immediately went to go after it but Steve stopped him and the two got into it again. Adora wasn't listening, she just hugged Natasha. "I'm sorry...I-I didn't mean-"

And then the explosion rang out, throwing her, Natasha and Banner into another room out a window.

Tony looked shocked, and Steve looked over.

"Put on the suit..."
