Hermione wonders how this Egyptian vault key had come to her beloved great-grandfather. A bit of bashing of Ginny and Dumbledore, but not the focus. Clearly, the Potters had escaped the only way they could - with a blood warded portkey.

They knew it would take a group to free them, but clearly, here they were.

Dorea was clutching Charlus' arm. The stasis had worked, and preserved their lives, but something had happened to Sirius. He was so…old.

"Sirius? Is that really you?" Charlus looked into his tormented eyes, unbelieving of the sight in front of him.

"Dad?"

"Son? No offense, but you look like a battered house-elf. What in the world is going on?"

Harry stepped up, and Dorea gasped, "James? What? Why are you so…who is this, Sirius?" The emerald eyes were clearly not the brown ones of his only son, and this boy was far too young.

"Mum, Dad, this is Harry. Harry Potter. And boy, do we have some family stories for you." Sirius wasted no time in hugging both his parents.

Dorea's visage changed to open, warm and accepting. "Harry? You're clearly related." Taking him in for a hug right after Sirius.

They had some catching up to do, but Harry and Sirius had some new unexpected family.
