"STOP" I heard Miriam scream from afar. I looked over my shoulder and saw Miriam lying on the ground. I immediately ran over to her to make sure she was ok.
"Are You Ok Miriam?" I asked concerned. She didn't respond, however, I could tell she was not ok. She was short of breath, unable to move, and crying. I noticed a boy standing by her. "Did you see the accident?" I questioned. "It all happened so fast she was showing me her slick tricks and I accidentally stepped on her skateboard and didn't have time to react." He stated. I could tell he was lying and had hurt Miriam on purpose. I quickly changed into my panda. "HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO MY BEST FRIEND?'' "DO YOU EVEN KNOW HER?" I screamed. "WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?" He asked. "IT'S A SUPERPOWER I HAVE NOW STOP LYING I KNOW WHAT YOU DID YOU LITTLE JERKWAD!". "Fine the real story is that she wouldn't teach me her coolest trick because I wasn't allowed to be on the 20ft ramp so I gave the ugly jerk what she deserved he said." I leaped quickly on him and scratched him. "THAT DOESN'T GIVE YOU AN EXCUSE TO HURT MY BEST FRIEND" "Mei '' I heard a voice say it was my mother. I changed back into a girl. "Yes mother," I said. "What happened Mei?" she asked. "This kid just hurt Miriam on purpose,'' I said. She looked at the boy irritated. "I'll deal with you later." She said, We then both walked over to Miriam to make sure she was ok.
"Are you ok?" My mother asked. "No," Miriam said. "I can't feel anything below my upper back, I'm dizzy, I can't breathe and my hands feel so tingly." I looked over at my mother concerned. "Ok, Miriam It's ok I'm going to call an ambulance and get you to the hospital" My mother stated. Miriam looked terrified. I Changed into my panda again and carried her over to a bench and laid her down. "Here Miriam you lay here so it's easier for the ambulance to get to you and no one is in the way," I said. "Ok," She said. Her breathing had gotten even worse. "Hey Mir, just relax and focus on your breathing," I said. "I'll be ok right?" she asked. "Of course, you will" I assured her.
When the ambulance came they put Miriam onto the stretcher and started an IV on her. She was put on oxygen and started taking her to the ambulance. I smiled knowing she was in good hands. "Mei?" Mom said getting my attention. "Yes, mother" I responded. "Let's Follow the ambulance there I've called her mother and she is on her way" My mother stated. "Ok Mom" I replied. "Let's go".
