Tense Study Sessions

Enid wasn't the best student in Nevermore but then again she never tried to be. She never tried to stand out, quite the opposite. She wanted to fit in with her pack, she wanted to have friends, a boyfriend or girlfriend to kiss and cuddle with. "I wish you would quit your sighing. The faster we find the books this the faster we get out of here."

"Yeah but Wednesday..." Enid looked around the bookshelves, blushing at the subjects they were about, "Its werewolf anatomy. Do you have any idea how embarrassing this is for me? Why are you of all people taking werewolf biology classes anyway?"

Unlike Enid, Wednesday showed no sign of being bothered by the content she was flipping through. "Because you are my roommate Enid. And I've always had an interest in lycanthropy, I find it fascinating."

"M-Me?" Enid could feel her motion behind her, her tail wagging before she caught it with her hand.

"I meant in general. But I suppose yes you. You're the once closest to me, I want to make sure you're healthy and well. And quite frankly, given the horrendously hormonal state of most of the students in this prison disguised as a learning institution, there should be more classes on sexual responsibility." It was disgusting seeing how some students just flaunted their happiness and lust in front of everyone. One would think that having grown up around overly-affectionate parents Wednesday wouldn't be fazed by this, but she just found it increasingly annoying as time went by.

And seeing as Enid showed many instances of being interested in romance and all that it entailed Wednesday decided that for her next year she should take werewolf health classes. That's how she found herself in this mess. She really was being too caring, too soft. Yuck.

"Hey! I am very responsible, just so you know! Not that I ever.. but you know, if I did, I would be very responsible. Y-Yeah!" Enid tried to grab a random book to hide her face behind. Alphas, Betas and Omegas: Lies and Truths of the Werewolf Reproduction System "Oh!" Nope! "Ugh!" Was the universe set on embarrassing her today? How to be a Proper Alpha: Mating Do's and Do Knot's "Oh my go-!"

"Hold on, I need that one." Wednesday, who had been watching all of this psychological torture take place with glee reached for the book her roommate was holding, "You are an Alpha correct?"

"Uh, yeah. Presented over Summer break. A little bit late then others but at least I can get my family off my case. For now." Until they start hasting her to get a mate. Most likely a werewolf mate. Why a werewolf?

Why not a vampire? They're exremely knowledgeable and respected in academia. Why not a siren? No one is more in-tuned to the going ons then them. Why not a gorgon? They're pretty relaxed most of the time but you won't find a more honest and sensitive mate anywhere. Hell why not a human? Wednesday was one and she was the coolest person Enid has ever met. Well, okay Wednesday was mostly a human, she was a Seer so maybe her family wouldn't mind.

Hold on... since when did this become about Wednesday?

"Enid. Your ears are back." Wednesday flicked one of the fluffy, blonde wolf ears, causing it to jerk back.

"And they annoy me. Its hard to control these things. I almost miss the days when all I had were my claws." She chuckled, her hands rubbing around her shoulders to ease her nerves. "Did we get everything we needed?"

"Almost. I only need a book on claiming and biting." Wednesday talked about it like it wasn't turning Enid as red as a tomato.

Claiming and biting, now there was something that all werewolfs learned when they entered puberty. "There's not much to it. The most crude way I can put it is, we can have a lot of partners in life, but only one mate. It's pretty much a done deal with is. Once the mating bite is exchanged you're mates for life. So its best not to be hasty with these things."

"Sounds like my parents. However they never had eyes for anyone else but each other. It's quite gross. I'm surprised though, that you're not shy about this subject in particular. Why is that Enid?"

"Well, its how we live, there's nothing explicit about talking about it. In fact I think its very romantic." Enid signed dreamily and leaned against the bookshelf, "Finding your one true love, its like a Disney movie."

Wednesday wanted to throw up at the mention of true love, "Enid, you are aware that those movies are created solely to feed into people's delusions and make them believe there is such a thing as love as first sight, or a true love's kiss."

"But Wednesday! Haven't you ever kissed someone and been like wow! You know like, you needed more right away? And had your heart skipping a beat?" Enid's tail was once again wagging happily behind her at full force. So fluffy looking.

"No. None of those things have happened." They were never going to either. "I kissed one boy and he tried to kill my friend and then me. Not exactly what I would call true love." Quite frankly the thought made her skin crawl in a very unpleasant way, and not the kind of unpleasant that was pleasant either.

"Right. Point taken. Would you be opposed to giving it a try though?" Enid couldn't help but straighten up as Wednesday looked her way, one eyebrow raised, "With someone you like I mean."

Wednesday pondered this.

She was very adamant in not being like her parents. What happened with Tyler proved to be a near fatal mistake. She could never allow that again. And someone she likes? That was an absurd notion.

"Enid, the only person I like in this school enough to even allow a simple touch is you. Kissing is not a topic that has ever really interested me, besides I'm not really looking for anyone else right now." Her words only seemed to encourage Enid who was now approaching her with wide eyes, ears fully pointed towards her.

The blonde kept walking until she was face to face with Wednesday, the only thing separating them were the many books in Wednesday's arms, "Anyone... else?" Enid's eyes dropped to Wednesday's lips without a second thought.

"To kiss. I didn't mean I wanted to kiss you either. Settle down puppy." Wednesday deadpaned. Enid seemed to deflate, her before shocked face now grimacing in disappointment. "You can be so difficult sometimes." She grabbed Enid by her colorful sweater vest and pulled the werewolf into a kiss. Enid groaned in surprise, completely frozen in place by this action. "Well?" Wednesday asked, "Did that-"

Enid surged forward, her lips silencing Wednesday, hands fisting into her uniform, "I will never try to kill you. I can protect you." She knew Wednesday didn't need that most of the time, but there was a part of her that yearned to do so anyway. She went for another kiss, only to have Wednesday push her back. Enid took that as an invitation to kiss her hand, slowly running her fingers along the back of it. Wednesday didn't pull away right away, she did mean to push Enid away at first but there was something about knowing that Enid could tear her to shreds if she really wanted to, but she was treating her so gently.

"If you want to win me over you need to be more ferocious, Sinclar."

"Hm..." Enid stole a peak at her roommate, "Something like this?" She held Wednesday's wrist in a gentle grip while slowly biting at her index finger. She could feel the shaking rush that traveled through Wednesday's body, "You like this? Or maybe something more like," Enid surged forward, full strength behind her body as she pushed Wednesday against the wall, "this?"

In the force of being pushed back Wednesday dropped the books she was holding, they made a loud thump that echoed around the empty library. Luckily they were in a pretty deep part of it so there was no one around to see what ever this was turning into.

"You're treading on dangerous grounds." So was Wednesday. Teasing a werewolf, one that clearly had a romantic interest in her no less, meant risking some bites and scratches at the very least.

"Well... maybe you can make me like danger." Highly unlikely. Enid hates horror movies with a burning passion. For all her bravado she's currently displaying she would run with her tail between her legs if she had to watch a horror movie with Wednesday. And then she wouldn't let go of Wednesday all night to chase away the nightmares that would haunt her for the next month or so.

"We should be studying Enid." Wednesday argued even as her arms wrapped around Enid's shoulders. This was dumb. Making out in a library in broad daylight, with her roommate and best friend, it was like something out of those trashy romance movies Enid forced her to watch.

Enid grinned, her fangs drawing Wednesday's attention, "Or, or, since you have an alpha here we can just wing it."

"Are you only saying this so I don't learn embarrassing things about your species?" Enid yelped, her ears flat on her head, eyes widening as her face grew hotter, her plan discovered. "Because if so you're failing miserably, I'm a curious person by nature. Having a specimen before me just sparks my curiosity further. What can you teach me that the books cannot?"

Licking her lips Enid pressed herself closer to her roommate. Kissing Wednesday breathless seemed much more fun and less embarrassing then having her reading up on werewolf anatomy and asking potentially even more embarrassing questions.

"L-Lots of things. I'm more fun then some book." Nevermind the fact that she was feeling really starved for Wednesday's attention now that she had a taste of it. "Let me show you." She whisperers against Wednesday's lips before capturing them with her own. Just kissing wasn't enough anymore, they needed to be closer. And Wednesday, well Wednesday didn't like being at a disadvantage.

Using her tongue as a distraction, Enid gasping and stuttering, she surged forward and spun Enid around, pressing her against the wall instead. She got a growl in response, which was a lot hotter to her ears then it had any right being.

"Alphas want to be in control." She said against Enid's lips, "You crave it."

"Mhm. Correct." Point one for Wednesday.

Enid's claws threatened to rip gashes in Wednesday's uniform, which was already special as per request, and that just wouldn't do. So in her effort to avoid material damage her hands snuck under the uniform, teasing bare skin. It would be all too easy to rip Wednesday apart if she choose it, lucky for Wednesday that Enid had different things in mind.

Her claws traced the length of Wednesday's spine, getting a barely surperessed shiver in return, "That doing things for you, Addams?" Enid whispered, nibbling on the shell of Wednesday's ear.

Very much so judging by the change in Wednesday's scent. It was usually the smell of paper, ashes, ink and that fancy hand lotion that she shared with Thing. Now though, it was sweeter, thick, almost like pomegranates, so potent that Enid could taste it on her tongue. It was intoxicating, making her head spin. Wednesday gasped, hands fisting into Enid's hair to hold her head in place and it was only then that Enid realized that she was actually tasting Wednesday, licking her neck. Her unmarked neck.

"Alphas want to bite. Claim. Know they're the one and only to their mates." Enid whispered against the heating skin, "Shit, Wednesday, I..." She sucks hickies everywhere her lips land, her mind getting foggy, only wanting one thing, one person, "Fuck I think I'm..." Was this her rut coming in? She's never experienced one before so it might just be normal horniness. "Alphas go into rut every few months." She needed to be closer to Wednesday, closer to her mate.

Once again their positions were flipped, Wednesday's head smacking against the bookshelf quite hard but it didn't seem to bother the raven.

Enid gripped Wednesday's thighs, prompting the other girl to wrap her legs around her to get closer. The closer they got the more Enid could feel her self control slipping. She pressed her mouth against Wednesday's again, growling and moaning against her while Wednesday's hand traced her scars, the other tangled into her colorful hair. She was getting entirely too hot here, "We should, maybe get out of here." Her hands traveled back to Wednesday's back, tracing up to finger at the strap of her bra.

"Enid..."

"Sinclar. Addams." The two roommates froze at the sound of their Principal's voice. "Hm. I wasn't aware that you had this sort of relationship. Congratulations, however you need to keep such activities in private rooms. Honestly Ms. Addams, I expected better from you."

"Principal Weems." Wednesday, even out of breath and pinned against the bookshelf was able to talk perfectly calmly. "We were just about to get going. Weren't we Enid?" Enid blinked at her, her body frozen, face red. "Enid."

"Yeah!" The werewolf exclaimed, letting go of her new lover and turning to face her Principal, "We're gonna go now! We just needed the books!"

Enid scrambled to pick up the books, remembering their topics and wanting to die all over again. "We're taking our leave." Wednesday tugged Enid by her tie, walking past Weems, "We will probably miss a few classes if Enid's rut is here."
