It's been 6 days since the accident at the skatepark. Today Priya, Abby,Tyler and I are going to visit Miriam in the hospital.Yesterday we went shopping for gifts for her and made cards at my house. My Mom picked up Priya and Abby but Tyler would be meeting us at the hospital.
When we got to the hospital we greeted Tyler at the door and then saw Mrs.Mendelsohn waiting for us in the lobby. "Hi,Mrs. Mendelsohn we brought gifts for Miriam'' I stated. "Aww you guys are so kind!" She exclaimed. "You Guys are going to finally put a smile on her face"! She cried. "Well Miriam's our best friend." "She's the one who's always there for us when we're down and always has our back." "So it's time to return the favor." Abby explained. "Thank you so much! All of you!" She roared with excitement. She then took us to Miriam's hospital room.
"OMG! AHHH! SHE'S ACTUALLY ALIVE!" Abby yelped. Priya noticed a wheelchair in the corner. "Miriam, is this your wheelchair?" She pried. "Priya ,Abby please stop it." I snapped. "Sorry" They said in unison. "HEY YOU OWE ME A COKE" Abby Yelled. "NO YOU ME A COKE!" Priya cried. "NO PRIYA I SAID IT FIRST!" Abby stated. "NO I SAID IT FIRST YA LITTLE CHEATER CHEATER PUMPKIN EATER!" Priya Shouted. Tyler and I shook our heads at each other. "How did I get roped into this craziness?" Tyler Joked. "Welcome to my crazy town world." I teased back "Ok l think we should rock paper scissors to see who wins." Abby petitioned "READY ROCK PAPER SCISS" "Enough you too." I said. "How are you feeling Mir?" I asked. "I'm ok. I don't feel hungry because I'm in so much pain". " What Hurts?" Abby questioned. " I don't know just everything." "My back." "My heart." Miriam replied with tears forming in her eyes. Miriam then just starts to break down. "Oh Miriam what's up?" Pryia asked. Miriam continued to let out chokes and sobs. "Mir What is it?" Abby questioned. Miriam kept crying. "You know you can talk to us," I stated. Miriam finally spoke. " My dad doesn't love me anymore".She sobbed. "Miriam I'm so sorry I don't know what to say" Priya said. "Is there anything we can do for you?" Tyler asked. "A hug please?" Miriam requested. We all come in and give her a big hug. "Thanks guys but I really don't feel much better" She sighed. "Well we got you some things." Priya stated. "Thank you." Miriam said. Miriam opened mine first. I got her some of her favorite chips. She smiled and thanked me. She started opening everyone else's Abby got her chocolate, Priya gave her fingerboards,Tyler got her a gift card to her favorite ice cream place. "Thank you all, I don't know what to say." She said, "Well we love you girl and you will always be our best friend." Priya stated. "4*Town forever?" Miriam asked. "4*Town Forever!" we said in unison.
2 hours had passed of us talking 4*Town,laughing,and playing hospital bingo. It was then time to go home. Mom Picked Priya,Abby and I and dropped them off at their house. It was a great day to visit Miriam.
