"Awww man, Groot you alright, where the heck in the galaxy are we." a young voice asked.
"I am Groot, I am Groot, I am Groot." Groot replied showing him the tablet showing they were in Central Park making his furry pal sigh, this was something he hadn't forseen that his ship had crashed on Terra of all planets feeling skittish.
"I know bud we need parts, but what if the Terrans aren't nice or won't help." he replied feeling Groot on his shoulder, telling him to take deep-breaths when he got anxious or upset so he could think things through or what they needed to do for the missions to succeed.
It was just a typical night in the galaxy and both young Rocket and Groot had been tracking Blackjack who had been stealing things from the Novacore until Blackjack had blasted their ship, damaging it so they had no choice but to land on the nearest planet, which was Earth or Terra to the life-forms all across the galaxy only this was an new frontier for both of them and they needed help to fixtheir ship as Rocket pulled up blueprints on his holo-gauntlet on his furry-wrist so they could figure out what they needed to fix their ship, get back into space and stop Blackjack before he stole all the shiny things and toys across the galaxy.
"I am Groot, I am Groot." Rocket heard his treelike friend asking pointing to their ship.
"Good point Groot, on it." he said pushing a button on the side of the ship activating the cloaking-device shielding it from Terran view, so nobody would be frightened pacing back and forth looking at the blueprints projected wondering where Terrans were going to have spare spaceship parts seeing Groot pointing into the city which made Rocket's eyes widen.
"Ijto the city in the middle of the night, you sure bud." he asked with a bit of anxiety in his tone biting his bottom furry lip with one of his baby-fangs seeing Groot nodding climbing onto his furry back knowing his best-friend was not feeling this, pushing a button on the gauhtlet activating the nightlight feature which helped at bedtime, making him feel a tiny bit better.
"You have a point, we need to fix our ship, only let's nothing creepy runs into us." Rocket replied going on all-fours which was faster than two paws making Groot grin, his friend was feeling much better after that promising to help if monsters jumped out or bad guys showed up only some Terrans, like Animal Control noticed chasing them, making Groot annoyed as they meant no harm, hearing Rocket hiss hearing Terrans referring to him as a raccoon which he was, he didn't like others pointing it out to him or in a disrespectful way needing somewhere to hide, until Groot saw an ice-cream cart making Rocket sigh, his best friend had a sweet-tooth goijg after him grinning seeing snowcones taking one for himself.
"Okay now we have to hide, until those Terrans go away." Rocket said seeing Groot nod in reply finding a junkyard as Rocket followed him.
"Whoa, what happened here, Doc Ock or Rhino." Peter asked seeing Gwen and Miles just as curious seeing the mess which Groot had caused getting his hands on ice-cream seeing people cleaning up, asking what happened hearing them explaining to them, making them surprised seeing Kamala and Hulk join them, saying a spaceship had crashed in Central Park impressing Team Spidey wanting to figure things out unaware that Rocket was listening, freaking out his heart pounding with anxiety in case those spider-kids caught him or Groot as he was in no mood to talk to Terran kids, hissing following Groot unaware Gwen had heard.
"You okay, did you see or hear something." Miles asked her seeing her nodding in reply playing making Hulk and Kamala exchange a look, as it sounded like a raccoon confusing Team Spidey deciding to head to Webquarters to figure things out making Groot relieved, those kids had left his friend alone.
"I am groot, i am groot." Groot said softly seeing Rocket cautioustly poke hisfurry head out taking deep-breaths hugging Groot feeling shaky.
"Yeah those spider-kids are weirdoes but good they're gone." Rocket said scampering to his ship which felt safe to him and Groot moreso Rocket.
