Just Like Miracle City, The cities mentioned are based on where I grew up around based on real cities as I was heavily inspired by the culture here in Florida. But here's a list of Cities based on the real ones. More will be added as the story continues. I'll bet one of you can figure out which of the following cities I currently live in.

Chapter 3, A New Truce
Mayan Arcade, 9:45 pm
While staying a 2nd week in the city, the Floridian duo fought a majority of the villains in the city who dared challenged them, easily beating them as they were highly advanced over them. Bringing the crime rate down to a historically low level never seen before. The city was skeptical but grateful for their effort to keep the city safe during their stay. Gaining the respect of its citizens and its most notable hero the White Pantera who felt jealousy at first but later praised the young men for their works. The two passed by the Mayan Arcade after fighting off an army of skeletons in their last battle in the land of the dead.
"Ha what a fun week, we show them who's boss around here!" said Gibbs.
"Mhm, it was fun while it lasted," said Calvin.
"The coolest part was beating the bones out of those skeleton walking things! Eeek dead people!" said Gibbs in disgust.
"The one with the black guitar really wanted to beat me, but I beat him like a pinata along with his folks.!" said Calvin.
"Lol how humerus pun intended, seems that bonehead got what he wanted! A fight and he turned into dog treats!" said Gibbs making Calvin giggle.
"Well let's get settled now, we have everything planned out to go to the school tomorrow to get the two kids to roll with us," said Calvin.
"Well how you plan to make them come if they're angrier than a disturbed beehive!" said Gibbs.
"I got something that'll make them come, a little surprise of tomorrow that will shock em." said Calvin as he had information about their future. Being confident that this will make them come with them to the U.S. on their mission.
Leone Middle School 9:31 AM.
The boys arrived at Leone Middle School a day later to get who they needed for their mission.
"Wow so old school, nothing like the new city or ours today!" said Gibbs.
"True, I know who is who is since I know who I got to get," said Calvin.
They walked into the school, into Principal Tonino's office.
"Hello there, who are you boys and how can I help?" asked Tonino.
"Hello sir, my name is Calvin Delagua, and this is Gilbert Perez we're from Florida and I'm part of my middle school's International Honors Society program to present an offer to two students who can use our help. Plus a presentation of our program of the school to spread our message of world peace and the benefits of our program," said Calvin.
"Ah, you're from America? Que bueno! We barely get any nice things like this for our students, and whom are the students picked?" said Tonino. Calvin handed out the paper to him and explained.
"Based on these two students and their academic performance, I feel like with them being at our school they'll get the motivation and help they need to do better at school!" said Calvin.
"Ah yes, good choice!" said Tonino as Vice principal Chakal came and read the papers too.
"That Rivera boy is a delinquent, how come Suarez is not on the list?" asked Chakal pointing at the paper.
"Well sir, she's ineligible because of certain factors like a history of high deliquency. The boy is exempt because of a special case concerning him along with the other individual who has met all requirements based on background, " Calvin explained to the vice principal.
"Seems good! I could get finally great a break from that troublesome boy!" said Chakal.
By presenting papers altered before to match the time period and knowing the identities of the people the boys want to bring in, they gained permission and Tonino voiced over the intercom to get all the students to the auditorium.
"Attention all students, please report to the auditorium at this moment! I have a special surprise for you all!" Said the principal.
"Thank you for the opportunity," said Calvin.
"No problem, wished we had more smart kids like you here!" Said Principal Tonino.
"Nice boys, they're certainly better than Rivera and Suarez combined!" said Vice Principal Chakal.
Auditorium, 9:37 AM.
The auditorium filled with students; Manny sat with his best friend Frida Suarez as the two were wondering what the special announcement is going to be about.
"It better be something exciting, not something lame," said Manny with his arms crossed.
"Oh relax, can't be that bad," said Frida.
Principal Tonino and Vice Principal Chakal walked to the stage to announce their news to the students.
"Hello students, I'm here to announce that we have two special visitors from America who will present us a special presentation of their program and works! Along with two lucky individuals to be a part of their program! Give them a round of applause to these young men!" said Tonino.
"Special visitors?" asked Frida.
"I wonder who it is," said Manny.
Seconds later, Calvin and Gibbs walked to the front of the stage with a high-tech projector and waved at the crowd who applauded them as they came in. Manny's eyes widened and anger filled his body seeing the duo.
"They have some nerve coming here!" said Manny balling his fist.
"Hmm, that boy with the blue bird stick is kinda cute don't cha think?" asked Frida.
"Oh, shut up! He's stealing my reputation and making a fool out of me!" said Manny.
"Well at least he's doing some good, but I guess he's a jerk like you been saying the past couple of days," said Frida.
The boys started to present but first had to introduce themselves before doing so.
"Hello fellow students, my name is Calvin Delagua. I was born in California but raised in SoFlo almost all my life. I'm of Mexican, Salvadoran, Samoan, and Dominican descent. I'm a middle school student at North Sunny Islets Middle in South Florida. I like to surf, draw, listen to pop and hip-hop, and living the city life. This is the hybrid staff that I built that is powered by both magic and technology working together enabling me to be the hero I am for my city there. Standing for liberty and justice for all!" said Calvin doing a magic trick with his staff as the students applauded him and whistled.
"Hello kids, my name is Gilbert Perez but call me Gibbs. I was born in Oarlando, Florida but moved to the South at a young age. I'm of Cuban and Korean descent. I too am in middle school along with my best pal here. I like to sing and listen to country, reggaeton, and salsa. And make country rock music with my band the Florida Boys. I like to fish, hunt, and go off-roading on the weekends!" said Gibbs playing a sample of his song the Florida boy which made everyone laugh and clap.
"Alright Alright let's settle down. The program I'm a part of is called the International Honors Society where we pick students from across the globe to study with us in Florida. We provide academic opportunities by doing educational events and fun trips across the state and spreading our program's influence across the globe. And why we're here is not just to present but to pick two students to come with us!" said Calvin.
"Ooooohhhh," said the crowd as they showed pictures of the Sunshine State's many wonders. Like the Tanpa Bay Privateers Stadium, Winwood Walls, Vizney World, Suniami Beach, and the high skyscrapers of South Florida.
"This Florida place is so cool! I hope I get picked I want to go!" said Frida.
"Yippee, so do I," said Manny Sorely.
In the back of the auditorium, the goth teen Zoe sat by herself and was also in a state of anger looking at the two boys.
"They have some nerve coming to my school, let alone being in my sight!" said Zoe.
After the boys were done presenting, they prepared to announce who was coming with them with two cards in their hands.
"Alrighty, the two lucky students that will come with us! Drum roll please," said Calvin as Gibbs made a drumroll effect making Calvin giggle a bit.
"Our first pick goes to is; Manuel Rivera!" said Calvin shocking Manny and Frida.
"WHAAAAAA! ME!?" said Manny.
"Lucky you! Hopefully, I get picked too! I want to go to America!" said Frida.
The next person was about to be announced as Calvin pulled out the card with the person's name.
"Our 2nd and last pick is: Zoe Aves!" said Calvin shocking Zoe along with Manny and Frida.
"What?! Me out of all people?! Along with Manny?" said Zoe silently in shock.
"WHATTTTT! HOW DARE YOU PICK THAT EVIL GIRL!" said Frida silently in jealousy.
"Congrats to you two! Meet us at the back table during lunch to discuss our voyage and further information!" said Calvin as he and Gibbs left the stage.
"Congrats to the two of you! Now please return to all your classes!" said Tonino.
"I...I'm going to America! But with those two and Zoe?! How bad can it be?" said Manny to Frida.
"Lucky you getting picked to go to another country! Bring me something cool, stay away from that evil girl!" said Frida.
After the dismissal, Zoe was walking in the hallway looking at Manny from a distance.
"I got picked to go America... But with 3 fools, maybe I can go and wreck their lives while with them! VENDETTA!" said Zoe with an evil look as she is thinking how to get her revenge on all the three boys who humiliated her.
Cafeteria 12:30 PM.
Calvin and Gibbs waited for them while eating tacos.
"Aye dis is some good tacos! Like Rocio's Taqueria in West Cove Beach!" said Gibbs.
"True that listen we planned this out carefully despite the time, I know who we need to help us with our investigation," said Calvin.
Manny came in with a displeased look and Zoe came after him with an angry look to sit alongside him as they provided information and handed pamphlets to them.
"I know it seems fast and strange that we drag you two quickly into the program with barely a notice, but we wanted to give y'all a chance since Mr. Kook, our advisor, said we get a bonus if we can bring in students from different countries, a scholarship reward of $40k for us and for y'all participating and earning higher chances to go to college in the future!" said Calvin"
"College? I don't want to go it's scary to think about it, but that cash reward though!" said Manny trying to keep a straight face.
"C'mon kid, don't need to go to college, use the cash for the greater good or go somewhere like welding or trade school! I'm might go but if I don't, Imma be a country rock star!" said Gibbs.
"Haha, just like my friend Frida only she wants to be a punk rock star," said Manny.
"Well, when are we going!?" asked Zoe angrily when trying to rush them over their talk.
"We leave by 8:30 am next Monday, bring y'all passports, if any problem it will be handled by the USCIS as you both are protected by the International Students' Rights Act," said Calvin.
Although Manny tried to keep a cool head, he was still angry at the boys and lashed out at them, startling the table Zoe looked like she wanted to join too but couldn't at risking her secret identity.
"Hey, why did you beat me bad let alone make a fool out of me in my city!?" asked Manny angrily as Zoe was overhearing them in anger too.
"You're the tiger kid?!" said both even though they knew he was who he is.
"Oops! but yeah I'm him but still why!" angrily said Manny who accidentally exposed his identity.
"Well, I apologize for that since I didn't know how to contact you, pleasure to meet you but the real reason I came is that I need your help in an investigation! I was trying to get your attention," said Calvin.
"Investigation?" said Manny.
"Well the truth is I come from the future and we're solving a mystery of your future self-whereabouts and others relating to your city," said Calvin.
Manny was intrigued but interested in learning about his future.
"You're from the future? wow seems obvious! So, what's going on?" he said surprised at the two being from the future.
"Yes, In the future, a lot of people from this city moved away and some possibly missing for such a long time after a terrible event, you two might have a connection in it," said Calvin.
Manny and Zoe were spooked when they heard this but were interested as he discussed more the future.
"Along I suspect that one of my friends might be your future relative, along with other issues in my time," said Calvin looking at Manny.
Zoe and Manny were very interested in what they were hearing but Calvin stopped there as he said he couldn't leak too much information since knowing too much of the future is too dangerous until further notice.
"I really need your help and hers, plus I looked up to you as a kid, you inspired me to be the hero of my city as a matter of fact. It's a once-in-a-lifetime event I would hate to see you pass by," said Calvin.
"Oh yeah! Kid this is something you should do for the good of all things to come!" said Gibbs.
"Man sounds like something I would like to do! In the future! I want to see it!" said Manny.
"So, you're in kid?" said Calvin handing out his hand to Manny.
"Yes, I'm in!" said Manny shaking his hand.
"Sorry about earlier, but trust me, you're going to love this adventure!" said Calvin.
"It's fine, but let's do this! I want to see the future and get better," said Manny as he agreed to work together with Calvin along with the others.
"What about you miss? As a bonus I'll give you info on your future and some bonus gifts for you and your friend?" said Calvin.
Zoe threw a rather unsettled look but saw this as an opportunity to get something out of the trip and agreed.
"Fine, whatever count me in.," said Zoe.
Even though Manny and Zoe have a very faint relationship from their last encounter, they decided to have a small chat with each other after leaving the table.
"So uh, Zoe? Are you going on this trip?" asked Manny scratching his head.
"I'm thinking about it, maybe I should," said Zoe.
"Well... We got picked so why not?" said Manny.
"I'll see, but I have to go bye!" said Zoe with a slight smirk.
Rivera Household 3:37 PM
"YOU'RE GOING TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!?" said both Rodolfo and Grandpapi in unison looking at the paperwork.
"Lucky you! I've never been to America, and I always wanted to go there!" said Rodolfo in jealousy.
"Ay mijo, Let him go it's a good opportunity for him to explore the world!" said Grandpapi.
"Why are you going Manny?" asked Roldolfo.
"It's for a study abroad student program and I could use a vacation," said Manny as he was packing his luggage and belt even though he told them nothing about going to the future.
"Is it with those boys we heard on the news? They have been giving me some relief since they knocked out almost every bad guy here! They're your friends?" said Roldolfo.
"Umm now yes?! But they were making my life hard!" said Manny
"Those twerps are making mi vida hard too Manny!" said Grandpapi.
"So when you're leaving?" asked Roldolfo.
"Next Monday, I'm going with them and someone else." said Manny.
A phone call came, which was Manny's mother and Rodolfo picked it up.
"Aww hola Maria, si our son is going to America and for a good reason!" said Roldolfo talking to her on the phone.
"Indeed, my son is going to the U.S. based on what I heard at the school! Please pass me to him" said Maria as Rodolfo answered and passed it to Manny.
"Hey Manny, I'm proud that you're making a good decision in building your future early! I'm worried about you going so far from home but be safe and don't get in any trouble in that country! Understand?!'' said Maria.
"Yes Ma'am, no trouble and villainy," said Manny.
"Manny get something nice from there like oro or silver since they're valued high in the U.S.! Especially that boy with bird stick because he looks like has pesos for days!" said Grandpapi with an evil look wanting a souvenir and likely for his grandson to steal for him.
"NO STEALING! Be good and no troubles mister like your mother said, the United States is the last place you want to get in trouble in!" said Rodolfo.
"Yes dad," said Manny.
"You'll be in good hands since those boys I heard they are crazy powerful! Makes my life much easier since they're heroes!" said Rodolfo in relief while seeing Manny frown as he was signing the paperwork.
"Whatever, but I'll get my revenge on them!" said Manny with an evil look.
"VIVA PANTALONES!" said the pet parrot Senor Chapi.
"I'm going to America and in the future! I wonder who am I with and what I do for a living..." said Manny in his mind.
Aves Residence 3:40 PM
"YOU'RE INVITED TO GO TO AMERICA!?, said Lady Gobbler.
"Yes, I'm going with three boys one being Manny and the others from the last fight on a study abroad student program." said the youngest Aves showing proof through the pamphlet.
" I heard and was surprised Mija, I'm proud of you and you can go but be careful, that boy is not to be trusted along with his family of foolish men who have caused havoc on our family name! Said Voltura.
"Along with those two other boys! " said Lady Gobbler. The older villains were still angry and sore along with their youngest over last night but thought of a plan of revenge on them.
"Try to wreak havoc on all 3 of them and give them a taste of their own medicine as revenge! Steal some valuables from them, especially the boy with the magic stick since he looks like he has money!" said the older villains as they noticed the jewelry he wore when they fought him.
"Yes, I'll pack my stuff and I'll bring some souvenirs for you two!" said Zoe.
"We want gold, jewels, or anything expensive since that's in a rich part of America, a place full of famous and rich people!" said Voltura.
"That Blue Eagle boy is not to be messed with along with his friend, don't let him know who you are," said Lady Gobbler.
"That kid is powerful, I still feel bad for making him very upset!" said Voltura signing the paperwork.
"Poor kid, maybe we misjudged him but still! He and the boys will pay for what they did!" said Lady Gobbler in anger.
Zoe went into her room and packed her luggage, thinking about how tomorrow is going to change things. Thinking of another person she was with, but thinking of Manny at the same time in particular since she knew him before anyone else. Looking back at a necklace Manny gave her despite him stabbing her in the back so time ago.
"Maybe this trip will be good, I get to see if you and I have a hopeful future," said Zoe in her mind.
Leone Middle School, a week later 8:25 AM.
Calvin and Gibbs were waiting for the two in front of the school, with Principal Tonino walking the two chosen students to a car not ever seen before.
"Good luck kids, be safe out there in the Estados Unidos!" Said Tonino.
A white ELEV Roadster was in a magic pill that Calvin inserted using a spell along with a Florida License plate in the back saying: B1UEG13
"Nice car, looks fast and how can you drive being my age?" asked Manny.
"Well, I have gained an early privilege to drive due to my heroic duties," said Calvin showing his special driver's license.
"Wow I should get one of those!" said Manny.
Zoe was stunned by the car's futuristic design and it being electric since it's a rarity in her time period. They packed their bags in the front and back trunks and Calvin asked Manny to go shotgun with him to talk about his plan. Zoe sat in the back on the far-left side away from Gibbs as he sat on the right playing on his tablet.
"Well kids get ready for the trip of a lifetime! Said Gibbs. "Aren't we going to the airport?" asked Manny.
"HA! HA! HA! Who said anything about an airport!?" said Gibbs.
Zoe and Manny were spooked but once Calvin pushed the pedal to the metal on highway, they saw the staff glow and the vehicle was shot into a vortex at light speed. Within minutes they were in Florida into the future.
Suniami Beach, Florida, December late 2030s, 11:24 AM.
The 4 arrived back to the future and landed on the interstate going to their school. Manny and Zoe were stunned by the city's tropical atmosphere, futuristic looks, and the new culture that was completely opposite from where they lived.
"Wow... This is awesome! I'm in America!" said Manny excitingly.
"Welcome to Florida! Home of the Florida man!" said Gibbs.
"Florida man?" asked Manny.
"You'll meet him during your stay," said Gibbs.
"Lol don't listen to him, Florida man can be anyone good or bad!" said Calvin.
"Just like me then!" said Manny making Gibbs laugh.
"HAHAHA! Not really, but okay," said Gibbs.
"This city looks cool! Wow look at those tall buildings and expensive cars," said Manny.
"Hmph, so this is how you live in America, a life full of luxury and spoiled brats," said Zoe sorely.
"Aww come on Zoe, this is awesome!" said Manny.
"Shoot not me, I came from a small farm town and I live near the swamps!" said Gibbs.
"Whoa! Look at those people racing on the water!" said Manny.
"Yeah, man! We can do all sorts of stuff down here but we're on our way to school!" said Gibbs.
"Wow! I wonder what people do here and what the villains and heroes are like here!" said Manny.
"Haha! You're going to love it here kid! "said Gibbs.
"I wonder what your middle school looks like compared to mines," said Manny.
Things will slowly heat up in the next following chapters as I'm trying to brainstorm what could happen beyond the future canon and this current story. I'm currently in the process of illustrating some parts of the story via sketches and descriptions of the characters which I'll provide soon on my DT account. I will try to post at least 2 chapters every week as I need to manage my time with school and work.
