58: Hulk [01]

-A month later-

-January 11, 2008-

It was 2008, finally, but Peter didn't care about that anymore. This nearly wasn't important anymore as things were happening way out of the order they were supposed to happen.

It was a normal boring day, as usual, and Peter Parker was zoning off in the classes except the English class. The redhead deserved every bit of his attention. Gwen seemed to have noticed this in him since he was usually like this, and she was quite jealous. Peter knew that well enough, like, just yesterday, she'd been so jealous that she forced him to fuck her in the bathroom.

Which he enjoyed fully, by the way.

She'd been more open to sex now, and Peter was taking advantage of that pretty much every other day.

[126,550/50,000 SP]

His SP had crossed the 100k mark, but Peter wanted to wait until it reached 200k or something, he wanted to buy the skills and level up at the same time like he'd been doing. Maybe he'd buy [Seductive Magnetism] if the need arose, but the other one he wasn't going to buy for now.

He'd also been just busy with making the arc reactor, with other of his tech. Also, he'd hired Ned, bought him a good pc, and was paying him to make games for—of course, Peter was giving ideas, and Ned was supposed to make them.

Everything was going smoothly. Though, Peter knew that this was just like the calm before the storm. He knew that some kind of storm was brewing for him to face.

Other than that, Peter had been researching about the Spider Society, and the worshipers of Spider-Totems on the net and some other places. So far, just like he'd expected, there were no leads. Peter didn't worry though, his 'Goddess' had been pretty much silent for quite a while now.

Anyways, other than the normal stuff, after that day he brought Jessica to the warehouse to train her, she had been pretty much avoiding him. Peter wasn't sure, but he thought that it was probably because he'd fucked Yuri in front of her.

Felicia had been quite friendly with him and had even tried to get into their little group, but as Ned didn't like her quite as much as him, coupled with Betty's pettiness, they weren't allowing her into the group.

Natalie vanished just a while ago, and they were just told that she had to go because of her grandma having a heart attack—which Peter called bullshit. Some mission probably came up, and he suspected it had something relating to Thor.

Hmm. Fury might approach him for the Avengers Initiative sooner than expected. And… Peter was sure he needed to accept it since it came with a lot of perks.

Anyways, he was kissing Gwen in a secluded corner of the school right now. Her soft lips tasted like vanilla. Peter liked vanilla. Her tongue was wandering inside him, and his hands were wandering around her body, under her clothes, and down to her perky butt.

Though he stopped soon enough, leaving her breathless. He caressed her tummy; he was also a bit worried recently. Gwen's pregnancy had started showing symptoms very soon, just after a few days he'd impregnated her, and the fetus had been growing at a rapid pace.

But recent check-ups showed that the baby's growth had stagnated somewhat. That had alarmed everyone, but the doctors said that she and the baby were fine and safe. It was just that the growth of the baby had slowed down. Peter wasn't sure what was happening anymore, but he was a bit happy that Gwen and his kid was safe.

Though he needed to find some answers, answers today's technology couldn't provide.

He knew that it had something with him and her being spiders.

"Don't worry," Gwen whispered, caressing his cheek with her right hand as she planted a soft peck on his lips. "The doctors said the baby's fine. I know it's fine. So, don't worry."

"Am I that easy to read," Peter chuckled.

"To me," Gwen said, biting his lower lip before another kissing session began.

Peter wondered if, maybe, he could take her to Tony. Sure, it would bust his identity, but if he could get to know and be both Gwen and his child were safe, he could be a bit less tense.

A cough sounded behind them, and Gwen pushed him away, staring at the person in embarrassment while Peter just chuckled.

"Are you guys done?" Michele asked sarcastically, giving a cold stare. "Gosh, there's Ned and Betty, and then there's you two." She looked annoyed.

"Someone's jealous-" Peter smirked.

"I'm not!" Michele yelled, flustered as she threw a book his way. A book he caught, but the spider-sense didn't calm down, and there it came, Gwen's slap at the back of his head.

Bruce "Hulk" Banner had been on the run for as long as he could remember now.

After that day, in the lab, where he recklessly used himself as a test subject, everything changed. He turned into an ugly monstrosity, and hurt his Betty. Then, everything went haywire, General Ross was after him, and Banner couldn't have a normal life after.

He was constantly on the run after that, too.

Right now, Bruce was sitting in a small house, checking a patient. He had been playing doctor here. Playing would be underplaying what he was doing though. He was, after all, a real doctor.

Bruce talked with the patient for a while, advising him on everything, and then took his leave. Banner had been on the run for a long time, and he'd tried everything there is, only so he could control the monster inside him.

Though he found no way to control it, he did find a way to keep himself in control of his anger so that he wouldn't transform into… that thing.

Banner walked through the narrow alleyways of this place, wondering to himself how much longer he would have to be on the run. He also wanted to settle into a single place, but his other half didn't allow it, more like the people after his other half didn't allow it.

If Banner could separate the two, he would. But the thing is, he couldn't do that, or he'd have done that till now.

Walking towards his temporary home, Banner's eyes caught the sight of some soldiers, which in itself wasn't that bad but the one with the soldiers meant nothing but bad.

Bruce squinted his eyes.

Ross…

He panicked a little, but tried to contain himself so that he wouldn't appear so much as suspicious. Then, he swiftly made a reroute, moving towards his house from another side. His heart beat loudly, thumping against his chest, but Bruce tried to control himself, and his heart rate.

After all, above a certain point, and he'd hulk out. That, he didn't want. Not only was it hurtful for him to let that monster reign over him, but it was also dangerous for the people. Banner didn't want to hurt them. Banner didn't want to hurt anyone.

…He'd hurt enough people already.

Betty turned into a red version of himself, he saw it with his own two eyes.

Jen… his cousin, she was probably brought in by Ross. Banner had seen her hulk form on the TV too, so it was his fault that she got to suffer under a monster like his too.

Banner had so many regrets, but he didn't want to ruin any more lives than he already had. So, that is exactly why, when he got home, he started packing all the important stuff so that he could leave.

If Ross managed to anger him further, Bruce would hulk out, and that would result in so many people getting hurt. He didn't want that.

After he was done packing, Bruce found transportation and left the town. He would run again as he'd always had.

His heart was thumping against his chest, and Banner was worried whether the army was following him or not. They better not, he wasn't sure If he'd be able o control himself. His worries seemed for naught, as he was able to get out relatively easily.

Banner sighed once he was outside the town's premises. He was a bit stumped though.

How long did he have to run like this-

– Bang!

The car buckled up, crunching from the engine as something heavy slammed on top of it from the front.

Banner was breathless, and even though he had trained himself for moments like these, the jump scare was more than enough for his heart rate to rise to high levels. And that was enough for him to groan and growl as his skin started turning green and he started getting big.

– Crack!

– Crack!

– Crack!

– Crack!

Louds cracks resounded as his bones readjusted, it was a painful process that only made his anger skyrocket. His anger which was already on steroids after hulking out.

"GHRRAAAAR!"

He released the loudest growl, his mind getting hazy as his world spun. Hulk was out, angered at the mere air, and everything else. How dare anything wake him from his slumber?!

Who was it!?

The vehicle got broken down and Hulk tore it apart, coming out in the world, naked. The driver had already been smashed into a pulp, and Hulk stared at the female version of himself.

"Uh-oh. Sorry, haha."

She chuckled.

"I calculated wrongly." She stared at him, grinning. "Anyways, cousin. Long time no see. Now, won't you come with me without causing a scene so that we can talk peacefully and not hurt innocent peop-"

She couldn't continue as Hulk's fist had already made contact with her face, slamming into her with full force, and sending her back into the forest.

"HULK ANGRY!" Hulk growled, his voice having a low, guttural tone to it.

Then, as he tensed his leg muscles, Hulk jumped up into a big jump, surveying the area to look for his female version.

Spotting her in a crater, he descended towards that location using his weight. He slammed down near her, and ran up to her, throwing his hand back to prepare a punch.

– Bang!

Though before he could do anything, something red slammed on his face, the impact making him fall down into the ground, another crater forming as his face made contact with that place.

"You're an idiot, you know that?"

Even when down on the earth, he heard a female voice say.

"I mean, I knew you'd come; I was just distracting him."

Hulk roared, getting up as he slammed his arm into the red version of himself.

"BUGS!" he growled. "HULK HATES BUGS!"

Saying so, he slammed his foot on her face again and again but was stopped by the green bug. She hugged him from behind, but the hug turned into a dangerous trap as she wrapped her thin arms around his bulky ones and pulled.

Hulk growled. How could such thin arms have so much strength?!

He was confused.

"Come on, Betty!" The bug growled. "Slam that drug into him!"

The other one came flying at him, wings behind her back. Hulk stared at her for the first time, strength leaving his body for a single jiffy as he recognized her.

"Betty…" Banner's voice managed to seep into his, making him shake his head and the she-Hulk before slamming his knee into her. He didn't let her go though; her thin arms were in his tight grip.

Her body rippled back, and Hulk spun on his heel before throwing her towards the flying woman.

"Whaaa!" She-Hulk cried out as she was hurled back at She-Red-Hulk.

"Fuck!" Betty cursed, trying her best to move out of the way. But, it seemed that she wasn't fast enough as She-Hulk slammed into her stomach, making her arch slightly in pain.

Hulk, though, didn't stop there. They'd angered him, and they pay for that!

He tensed his leg muscles, and kicked off the ground, making another small crater where his foot made an impact as he flew towards the pair of female hulks.

He threw his fist back, growling.

They'd messed with someone wrong.
