CURSED or BLESSED [30] : The Manliest of Them All

Zoro didn't bug, he kept walking towards the other, leaving the confused vampire alone.

[What the fuck did he want to say?! Does he know? It's impossible! And how the fuck do I know whether I made a good decision or not?! Tell me, moron!]Sanji chewed his tobacco, exasperated. Before long, he decided to leave the place.

* HnO HnO HnO HnOHnOHnOHnO HnO HnO HnO HnO HnO HnO *

"What did you do to him now?" Sabo asked a little exasperated.

When the dusty blond thought those tensed moment came to an end, this lawn head suddenly started a new one, leaving the gang got no time to rest. For fuck sake they needed one! One full damn week not having things to think about, not having things to worry about. And here, the beast and the vampire were starting something new. Sabo was beyond pissed. He might had already strangled this dense wolf if only his love towards the beast didn't stop him.

"Wh-what do you mean, I didn't do anything!" the green head answered annoyed.

"Don't say you forget what you did to him last time. It was a pain in the ass to nurse you two back, you know." Usopp butted in, joining the conversation. Zoro just gave him a quick grumble.

"What exactly happened now?" Brook asked calmly while sipping his hot milktea. As the one who was the oldest of the team, he was the only one who could stay calm despite they were in a pinch or trouble, or it might be that he was ridiculously calm that he didn't have any sense of panic at all…. Oh well.

"Sanji left a message, saying he can't stay with us any longer, but he will come occasionally, just to hang out and feed that jerk. If he has time." The dusty blond head explained with a tone of anger laced in his voice, pinching his nose bridge to calm his nerve.

"Hey, if he doesn't want to stay with us, it's not my fault. It's his life, he has a choice. He is a full grown up adult." Zoro barked back.

"But it is ridiculous! You know him! We all know him! He likes being here, we are all!" Sabo retorted, trying to get an answer.

"Despite that, if he doesn't want to stay here, who are you to make his life decision for him?"

"At the very least, I concern about his well-being."

"So you think I don't?!"

"That's why I asked you what did you do to him?"

"How the fuck do I know?! I only said he was capable to make his own decision! He had to make a decision! He isn't a child anymore."

"See, You-"

"Okay, okay… stop right there." Suddenly Brook appeared between the two, cutting their heated argue, "so what about this decision? Did you know something, Zoro-san?"

"Khh! Did he ever tell me anything? He liked to stay shut and who am I to ask?" the green head answered back. His tone was brusque and cold. If only they didn't know him that well, they might think Zoro didn't care about the blond, yet had been living and known him for all these times, each and every one of them did catch those constrain frustrated emotion in every word of his.

"What about this conversation then? And.. to feed?" Usopp asked in confusion. The werewolf sighed and leaned on the wall behind him. He didn't really want to tell other about other's secret. It wasn't his right to tell, but he knew the other had to know.

"It was two days ago, when those demons appeared and told us about the prophecy. That ero-cook was sulking like an idiot. He looked like he was about to cry, so I just told him to suck it up and make up his mind. He didn't tell me anything, though."

"And you didn't ask him what was that about, right?" Sabo jumped in.

"That's why I told you, who am I to him? Even though I did ask him, you think he would tell me?" Zoro's tone was jumping one tone higher even he himself didn't realize that he was actually pissed.

The fact that Sanji didn't want to open up to him, pretending everything was okay, was actually wracking his nerve. The damn blond was trying to face all his problems alone. Zoro wasn't one who wanted to jump into other's people life and problem, but it was all different with this particular blond Nesatios. Without even he realized it, the werewolf was dying to know all about him, what made that blond smile, what made him happy, what made him sad, what was his problem, why did the blond always seem to be in deep in his thought.

Recently, the Farligenete did notice one thing though. Somehow in a way or another, he liked it when he saw that damn Nesatios smile. He was beautiful, he was dazzling, he was pure attractive. But no way in hell, Zoro would say it out loud. And the fact that he aware about this feeling was pissing him! He was sooooo pissed that he found out the damn blond managed to make his way into his heart. The most annoying part was, he liked the way that blond messed up his heart. He hated it that he couldn't hate it. So much for being an eternal enemy. Then again, having the blond beside him was what he really wanted. If only he could be more honest even with himself.

"Well, you've got a point there…" Usopp voice was the one who brought Zoro's wandering mind back into its place.

"So, what should we do now? How and where to find him?" Sabo asked. Brook sighed from his non-existence nose. Taking a slurp from his cup before he opened his skeletal mouth.

"We could only wait until Sanji-san show up himself. He did say he will come occasionally, right?" Brook answered. The most logical answer it was. Which indeed making them sighed, though nobody could rebuff that.

Not all hope was lost, but they just hated it, they couldn't do something for the blond.

And who would have thought that with the blond gone, the prophecy was starting to move.

"How are you feeling?"

"Mm… Have been worse."

"Shishishi… I'm glad you back."

"So do I…"

The noirette didn't say anything anymore, though he kept his trademark smile plastered on his boyish feature. With his head laid idly on his crossed arms, he locked his gaze with the demon, savoring the warm hand which was playing with his jetblack locks.

"Hey…" called the man on the bed. The boy raised his eyebrow, signaling he was with him the whole time. "Thank you for saving me." continued the man.

"It was you who saved me. I won't be here if it wasn't because of you." answered the other.

"No… It was my fault from the beginning, dragging you all into this chaos and-" he was cut off by a pair of lips plastered on him. It was so quick, he didn't have enough time to realize what had happened in that split second.

"I hate it when you blame yourself, you know that. What had happened was nobody's fault."

"…. But-"

"Ok, stop it right there. Everything was over and everybody is safe. Isn't that good news?" cut the noirette, moving from the top of the man, and settled himself near him. The boy put his chin on the man's shoulder, inhaling the unique scent of the demon. Something spicy yet refreshing and kind of lemony, the boy couldn't guess it right yet it was calming him. The brunette sighed then flipped himself to scoot closer to the boy. He pushed his hand to the top of the boy's head.

"I really can't win over you… Chibi."

"Shishishishi~ but you win over my heart, Torao."

"Don't you think you are lucky enough to be back here again, eh, Sanji?" mocked the green head.

"Hmph! You should be! Do you know actually it's impossible for an Avare like you to be welcome here in our place!? It's even more impossible to have Vinsmoke as your family name." added the blue head.

But Sanji kept his mouth shut. Flicking his match, he lit his cigarette. Their mock fell on deaf ear.

Sanji knew they hate him for being a curse one, hell everybody was. At some point, Sanji also hate them for throwing him away, even though they should have support him, even though they were supposed to care for him, as a family should have, but no! They didn't do it. They chose to exile him, pretending that he was never exist, so why did they want him back right now?

"Oooh… you've grown quitter, eh aniki? I remembered that you were always cried back then, hahahaah! Crybaby! Even I didn't cry as much as you!" Laughed the green head again.

"Heh! Of course! He is like… what? 200 years old or something? Why do you think he will stay a cry baby?" The blue head sneered, while the red head chuckled.

But Sanji still didn't bug. He inhaled his cigarette deeply then he decided to walk away, without uttering even a word.

"Are you trying to run?!" The green head shouted. Fully in rage when he got no respond from his big brother. He grabbed Sanji's shoulder, ready to punch the Avare.

"Hey Niji, control your-!" just as the blue head was trying to warn his little brother, Yonji's voice rang in the air with a loud sound of something cracking.

"A-AAARRRGGGGGHHH!"

"W-What the HELL!?" now it was Niji, the blue head who shouted in anger.

With one swift elegant half round kick, Sanji sent Yonji fly straight onto the wall, cracking his ribs and the wall altogether. The green head stayed under the mess, while others started to boil.

"Now you've done it, you piece of shit!" Niji barked with rage. It wasn't because Yonji was his little brother, it was more because his pride wouldn't let it. They supposed to be better than this Avare. They were stronger than him before, and it should stay like that! They were the Vinsmoke. They were the chosen Nosferath, the duke of their race, the elite amongst the highest.

"Sometime, you have to control yourself, Sanji. You don't know what will happen to you, do you?" the red head said calmly, getting up from his seat. Slowly but sure, with all the glory he radiated, he walked towards Sanji.

"Ichiji-niisan, you know you don't have to do this. He will be dead in no time!" Niji said.

"Hmph! I'll make sure to hold back."

"If you say so. You know we can't let him die now. Father will rage.

"Heh! Is that so? Well, how'd you like to be his favorite now, Sanji?" Ichiji sneered annoyingly.

"Tell me. How come your father is my father? We aren't even related, are we?" the blond retorted, sipping his lit cigarette.

"Now you're done!" the red head was now angry. How come the weak boy he knew was able to keep his calm and able to answer his mock with another? He was pissed!

"Am I?" Sanji threw his smoke then getting ready to fight the red head. The man who was once he called brother.

* HnO HnO HnO HnOHnOHnOHnO HnO HnO HnO HnO HnO HnO *

"Oii... Zoro." No responded.

"Oii! Zoroo!" still no answered.

"Hey Zoro... Zoooooo~~~ rooooo..." At last the one who was being called give him a short mumble without averting his gaze from the work his doing right now, which was.,

"Why are you washing the soap?"

then another mumbled.

"Oii, ZORO!" the long nosed Farligenete shouted, making the beast jump, while the soap in his hand just slipped and fell on the floor.

"Wh-WHAT THE HELL!?" the green head annoyed, at last making eye contact with Usopp.

"I have been calling you for sometimes, bet you didn't hear me."

"Huh? Maybe your voice wasn't loud enough to begin with."

"What are you saying, Zoro? You?! Couldn't hear me?! What kind of joke is this?"

"Shut up! I'm concentrating." The green head retorted.

"Yeah.. right... concentrating to wash the soap."

"What so-"

"YYOOOO GGUUUYYYSSSS! LEMME HEL-! GYAAAA!" The energy ball who was just barging in, stepped on the soap and slid ungracefully to the duo Farligenetes who weren't even aware of the sudden intrusion and...

BRAKK! CRASSSSHHH! SHATTER!

"Iteteteteeeee..." The tengu whined.

"That was hurt..." complained the noirette.

"Dammitt..." grumbled the Wolf rubbing his green mane which was now, yes a bump was there, it wasn't big but it was there..

And this whole mess will be one hell big problem, because they were in the fuckin kitchen which was the territory of,

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT SOUND?!"

A certain monster, uh.. I mean...

"NOOO! THE HEAD CHEEEFFFF!" Usopp and Luffy hugged each other trembling in fear, because you see, this one particular monster was, uh.. I mean, Head chef was underlined dangerous.

"You might want to say your last word." Zoro cringed in despair.

"Noooooooooo..." was the only words that came out from the two noirettes.

Suddenly the door was open, before they could even think what to do next,

"Sooo... What was it?!" His voice was gruff as always, but the tone was kind of…. Different. Those who didn't know him might think nothing was wrong but, here those who have been living with him quite long knew that tone was underlined frightening or should I say… No life would be spare, alive.

"Care to explain?" the chef asked once again, while the three were getting nowhere to run. Their only hope was to pray to whoever exist up there, but in the end…

The three of them were out in bed for two days full.

"Will it end just like this?" asked the elementalist.

"It won't. Just let them make their own decision Nami. We must be patience." said the older lady sipping his tea.

"But what the hell was that blond thinking? Why he went back to Annen Verden?"

"He has his own reason. We can't blame him."

"Don't you think it's strange? Afterall these times?"

"Nami, everybody has their own decision, don't you think? That what makes them special."

"…. I know about that but…"

"Be patient. Everything will go as it is."

"I hope it will."

* HnO HnO HnO HnOHnOHnOHnO HnO HnO HnO HnO HnO HnO *

"I miss him…." the noirette sighed while munching the food inside his mouth. He got some death glares from the others. He didn't realize.

"I know that! But what should we do?! I tried to look him around, nobody sees him. Beside Ace and Law are gathering info about him." Sabo responded.

"Huuuu…. It's going to be a month!" Luffy nagged, while biting the spoon.

"I know. I also want to take him back ASAP!"

"…. AH! By the way, I just remember Nami and Robin-sensei is coming." The noirette suddenly jumped.

"Robin-sensei?" Usopp confused.

"And why is your sensei coming?" Sabo asked more.

"Well, Robin-sensei knows a lot of things, while Nami is her guardian."

"That's new. I haven't hear something like-" but the dusty blond head couldn't finish his words, when suddenly they heard Brook was shouting from the hallway which connecting their house to the restaurant.

"Wh-what happened?!" Usopp asked in panic.

"How the hell should I know! Hurry up and check him!" Sabo commanded. The two nodded and quickly ran to the source of the voice.

They found Brook was supporting Zoro by his shoulder. The green head breathing was getting rougher with second passing, while he himself was nearly pass out. Sweat was all over his body, painful growling skipped out from his lips one after another. Something hurting him, but nobody knew what exactly was.

"Zoro!" Luffy called the werewolf, snitching him from Brook. He wiped the trickling sweat from Zoro's forehead then suddenly he realized, Zoro was trying to open his only eye with a very very palpable dark color all around it.

"…Lu-…" was the only syllable word the green head managed to spit out.

"Yea? Zoro! I'm here! What happened to you? Why are you so hot? Are you sick?" the noirette asked him again, trying to grab his attention. But Zoro's only respond was another growl and frown of pain. Hearing the word 'hot' that blurted out loud from Luffy, Sabo quickly put his own hand to the wolf's forehead.

"Gosh! He got a fever! Usopp! Hurry and take some cold water and towel!" Sabo shouted.

"Aye-aye sir!" without wasting anymore second, the tengu ran to prepare the things in request.

"Brook… what actually happened?" Sabo asked while helping Luffy to move the werewolf to the sofa.

"Uuh… I also have no idea. I was going to the restaurant and met him in the hallway. He was already sweating and seemed like he had trouble breathing. I did ask his condition, but he said that he was okay. Five minutes after that, he collapsed." Brook explained the only thing he knew.

"He always said that when something happened to him." Luffy pouted and slapped the werewolf forehead – not.. to softly.

"What is that for?" Sabo frowned.

"Being a pain in the ass!"

"Look who is talking."

"Sabo! Here!" Usopp said with a bowl of water and towel in his hands.

"Thanks! Anyway.. Luffy, tell Makino-san Usopp and I won't be working our shift today. You and Brook have to cover us up!"

"Hey! That's cheating!"

"I can't let you treat him, can I? And tell Makino-san, this brainless need some medicine."

"Is it medicine that he needed?" came the voice from the door. Everybody averted their focus to the sweet voice.

"Nami! Robin-sensei!" Luffy beamed and quickly ran to the two ladies. Nami was quick enough to hold the over excited noirette from toppling the two of them, by face-palming him.

"Heeeyy…" he whined.

"Mfufufu~ You sure are always interesting, Lu-chan."

"He is not, Robin! He is just a troublemaker you know!" Nami retorted.

"Luffy, I know you are happy to see us but, for now, let us stop this for a while. Your friend there is in trouble." Robin suddenly dropped all the sweetness and into her business form.

That made everybody jolted, so did Luffy.

"Wh-what do you mean?" Usopp asked.

"Your werewolf is lacking energy. He might die if this continue." Robin explained, while moving closer to the beast who was already trying to get up when he smelled the incoming scents of the two. Though, it was so hard for him to move, he still pushed himself to do it. He just needed assurance that his.. no.. this territory was safe enough for his nakama.

"Hey, there wolf-san. How are you feeling?" the noirette lady asked, stood beside the sofa.

"Oh... It's yo-…" Dizziness swoop him up. He felt his strength left him as quick as he felt relief knowing who was the intruder. He collapsed back to the sofa, clenching his fists, trying to suppress the burning pain inside him.

His growl was uncontrollable while his sweat was already drenched his t-shirt. She sat on the edge of the sofa where the beast was laying. She then touched his forehead and a purple light glowed in her hand.

"Wh-…" Zoro tried to ask, but she shushed him quick.

"What are you doing?" Usopp asked with uncertainty.

"She is sharing her Esenta. It's not much but it is still better than none." Nami explained.

"What is the meaning of this?" Sabo and Luffy asked in unison.

"He didn't tell you anything?" the redhead frowned in distress.

"What now…" Sabo sighed, pissed, furious all in one. This one creature over there was indeed the manliest of them all. It was his great characteristic and also his worst.

"Oh well. How much do you know about the bond of this stupid with that pervert vampire?"

"Don't tell me their bond is killing each other?!" Usopp butted into the conversation. Well, it was a common knowledge well known by the Farligenetes after all.

"It's not wrong, but it's not quite right. He didn't tell any of you? What a pain in the ass." Nami chaffed.

"He is!" Sabo hefted.

"Zoro-san, you always made everybody stress out." Brook sighed.

"Well, long story short. Because they have already bond, they have to feed each other or they will die of insatiate hunger."

[Plus the pain of unsatisfied heat is unbearable, which is which?] The red head thought, but she kept it a secret from others.

"EH?! Bu-but that mean they have to eat each other?!" Luffy's naivety couldn't follow the conversation.

"Oh gosh…." Nami rolled her eyes, while Sabo cringed, Brook and Usopp's jaws were hanging wide. "So I was saying… Zoro needs Sanji's Esenta and Sanji needs Zoro's Sange." The red head continued. Luffy frowned while his lips were making a 'w' shape, thinking hard.

"Should I continue this? Seems Luffy is going to explode." The Elementalist giggled.

"Please.. leave him alone. He'll understand when the time comes." Sabo answered, "What should we do then? I tried to search Sanji for these past weeks and I got… wait!"

"I-is he okay?! Is this the whole reason why we couldn't find him?!" Usopp suddenly realized what made the dusty blond stopped.

"Is he also dying?!" Brook asked in more panic voice.

"It's no use. He can't receive anything from me." Robin suddenly said, getting all the attention onto her.

"Wh-WHAT?!" Sabo, Usopp and Brook shouted in desperation.

"Receive what from you, Robin-sensei?" the young noirette asked his sensei, because none of the explanation he heard seemed to work in his head.

"Zoro is lacking energy. I tried to share mine, but he can't receive any." The noirette lady sighed.

"EHHH!? Th-then I have to share mine for him! Ho-how to do that?!"

"It won't work Luffy. You heard her just now. He can't receive anything except it was Sanji's." Sabo bit his lower lip, suppressing his anguish.

"Bu-but then…. We have to do something! We HAVE to find Sanji!"

"I wonder how…" Usopp dejected voice came up.

"For that, I have both bad and good news." Robin abruptly said. Everybody except Nami were focusing their attention to the lady. "I know where he is." She started.

"So the bad news is…?" the dusty blond head asked losing his composure.

"I can't contact him. I can't tell him, Zoro needs him."

"The-then you mean.. Sanji isn't dying?!" Usopp asked.

"He isn't."

"How come?! How come this one is dying and Sanji is-"

"Sanji is what?"
