79: A Black & Red Issue [05]

It didn't go as planned.
It didn't go as planned at all.
Cletus gritted his teeth, standing up with an unfathomable amount of pain wreaking havoc inside his body.
Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!
All his work! Gone just like that!
He had kidnapped Yuriko, and brought her here safely, only so he could ravage her in front of Spider-Man, but his plans flopped.
He couldn't even beat Venom when the latter arrived here in the factory.
Cletus had arrogantly thought that he'd be able to eat Venom, and then kill Spider-Man slowly, but Spider-Man, somehow, reached this place sooner.
Cletus l hadn't even laid the clues for Spider-Man to find him yet! So how could he find him so easily?!
Cletus grounded his teeth, and waited for Carnage to recover. Spider-Man had some unknown power, an unknown variable that he hadn't taken into account before.
Whatever that shockwave was, it was more than enough to harm Carnage and Venom.
Damn it all!
Cletus screamed at the top of his lungs, and gripped his head, hard. Then, he forced Carnage out, and let it reign supreme over him.
Anything to end this bastard!
Peter cursed as he saw Carnage's tentacles flailing in the air in an erratic manner.
Peter sighed, and looked at Venom who was staring at Venom, standing stuckinn his place.
He was not stuck per se, but appeared as such. Peter deduced Eddie and Venom were having one of those talks where they mulled over how fucked they were.
Anyways, Peter was not the type of person who would a villain complete his transformation, this wasn't DBZ, it was real life, and he'd do anything to win faster.
So, Peter ran up to Venom, and patted his back.
"Hey, big buddy!" Peter had to shout out loud since Carnage's screeches were a bit too loud.
Venom shifted his weight from one foot to the other, and tilted his head to stare at him.
"Yes?" Venom had his guard up around Spider-Man.
Peter almost chuckled. Why would he not have his guard up? 'Spider-Man' was a hero, whereas 'Venom' was an anti-hero, yes, let's just call it that.
"We should team up, right?"
Venom grinned, showing his teeth.
Oh God, fucking disgusting.
Peter almost puked, but he held it in. How unfortunate to have a face. Like, Venom was a cool man, and Peter could give it to him that he was awesome.
"Okay!" Venom said in that guttural voice of his, spit spurting out of his mouth.
Ugh.
Peter ran to Carnage, throwing blow after blow at him. He smashed Carnage's face so hard that his suit got bruised from his knuckles and he started bleeding slightly. Although It was a different matter altogether how his wounds healed at a monstrous level.
If he weren't before, Peter was sure now that he was nearing Deadpool's level of regeneration. He might have already crossed that threshold.
Anyways, as Peter thrashed Carnage's head without any restraints on his strength, which amounted to a lot of damage, Venom prowled behind Carnage and locked his head in a deadly neck lock with his arms.
"NO YOU DON'T FATHER!" Carnage screeched, and his body dissolved slightly so that Cletus could get out of there without getting any injury, since he was smaller than Carnage by a big margin. But Peter didn't let Kasady escape, and instead slammed his foot into his face.
Cletus' face caved in, and he would have died just right there and then if Carnage wasn't there for him with his monstrous healing.
"You…!"
Cletus was done with this shit, so he quickly transformed again and shot his tentacles flying about, hitting Venom and Spider-Man everywhere. Though it was a different matter how Spider-Man dodged the tentacles completely and Venom, even if hit by some, dodged a lot too.
Cletus was enraged.
"Carnage! Do something!" he complained like always, and rolled on the ground, dodging the kick that Spider-Man threw at him.
Claws grew out of his hands, long claws reminiscent of blades, and Kasady didn't waste this opportunity and instead used these claws to slice at Venom. Venom didn't see this coming and was caught off guard. The claws cleaved through his skin like butter, even though Venom was quite resilient, these blades seemed stronger.
The blade-like claws cleaved him in two, and Venom let out a sound reminiscent of a squawk, but it was relatively deeper than It should be and had this raspy sound to it.
Carnage was already on top of him, his mouth wide open with his fangs elongated and glinting dangerously. Saliva was dripping down on Eddie's pale face, as it was completely visible since Venom was busy healing his severed body.
Peter didn't let Kasady eat Venom though. Peter, after all, knew too well that Carnage would be kind of unstoppable for now if he ate another symbiote, especially the likes of Venom.
So, Peter shot two webs at Carnage's back, and quickly cast a spell. He could end this pretty quickly if he used magic only, or heavy spells, but what was the fun in that? Kasady, this bastard, had the balls to kidnap one of his girls, Peter would be a fool to give him a quick death.
And besides, not to justify his actions or anything, Cletus Kasady was a man who didn't deserve pity in the slightest.
Lightning crackled out of his hand, and fell on the webs, traveling through them with relative ease since they were organic webs. Webs that were made out of Peter's own blood. Which meant that they were extremely conductive; so, the electricity traveled through his webs and got into Carnage's, and by extension, Cletus' system.
This, quite literally, short-circuited the man. His brain should be beyond disturbed at this point, but as it turns out, Carnage was a fucking monster when it came to healing.
So, Kasady was back in mere seconds.
Peter hummed to himself, thinking of ways he could end this. If he used spells; sure, he could end this, but it wouldn't be fund anymore. But his strength alone wasn't enough to beat Carnage, at least not quickly. Though Peter was confident that he could beat Carnage even if he had no spells.
What to do, what to do?
Peter had an idea.
A sinister idea.
'Yeah, that could work, hahaha!'
The idea was so good that it made him laugh internally.
Even the freaking Juggernaut wasn't able to bare this attack, though it was a different matter that the juggernaut he was thinking about was the one from the movies, and he wasn't nearly as strong as the one in the comics. No matter, there was no harm in trying now, was there?
Peter ran up to Venom, and whispered something in his ears. Venom barked out in laughter just after, and fist-bumped him before jumping to Carnage and throwing a solid punch on the latter's face, breaking the slimy red substance away.
It was a huge chunk too, so Peter was happy with it, and even happier with the scream that Carnage let out, writhing.
"Wow, that punch worked!" Venom shouted. "It had my all!"
Peter chuckled, and jumped up, going high up In the air before he webbed himself with the ceiling. Then, as Venom had Carnage distracted, Peter started using his web to create a long rope.
It was big, and long in length, it had quite the grith too.
Hmm.
Peter mused, rubbing his chin as he hung upside down, staring at the white rope in his hands.
Perfect.
He was satisfied with it.
"Now…"
He muttered, looking around. He needed something sharp, with a head that could penetrate.
Hmm.
Peter's eyes stopped on a rod that had fallen from one of the pillars Venom and Carnage destroyed while fighting. That could work, no? Deciding on it, Peter shot a web at It and hurled it back to him before he tied the rod with the long rope-like web.
Now, it was really perfect.
Peter laughed, and shouted.
"Venom!"
And threw the rod towards Venom. The web, however, was connected to his wrist; he'd put a knot around his wrist.
Venom looked up, and grinned, dodging Carnage as he ran up to the web before jumping up and catching it in his hand. Peter was already on top of Carnage's head, his feet making impact with Carnage's face, which caved in upon impact.
But it healed even faster. Peter grabbed Carnage's face and neared it, the webs that he'd shot on Carnage had already enveloped around him, rendering him immobile on the spot.
Peter didn't care about that though. Why? Because Venom was already behind Carnage.
"Suck it," Peter whispered in Carnage's ear, and head-butted him with full strength, hitting Cletus in the head before jumping high up in the air.
Venom, on the other hand, slammed the rod into Carnage's rear end.
– Sksstthhh!
Silence…
Silence reigned supreme as Carnage stiffened, his eyes widening slowly but surely. Silence that was broken by Venom and Eddie's mixed voice that had erupted into laughter.
"I…" Peter said aloud for the dramatics. "I am inevitable."
And snapped his fingers.
It was cringe, but whatever.
The web knotted onto his wrist emitted golden light as a spell form carved itself into the web's surface. Then, as the spell was activated fully, Peter cut the web from his wrist and waved his hand, teleporting Venom away.
Carnage screeched as the web transformed into an Eldritch being. It hadn't fully manifested, but the web had turned into a big tentacle.
– Crackle!
A tentacle that pumped out thunder.
Peter gave a silent prayer for Cletus' behind, and teleported away to where he'd teleported Venom. Peter knew that Carnage would die, the Eldritch being, or a part of it, he'd summoned would return back to where it came from, and it will take Carnage and Cletus with it.
It was pretty anticlimactic, but Peter didn't care for that, not a single fucking bit.
"Bro," Venom said as Peter stepped out of the portal. "That was awesome."
– Boom!
The factory far away blew up into purple lightning and the shadow of a big tentacle erupted into the sky, screeching loudly before vanishing.
Venom looked back, strangely quiet.
"That's… bad, right?"
"Nah," Peter shrugged. "Will probably be fine. The tentacle vanished with Carnage; it took him back into its home. They'll have a happily ever after married life after today."
"Heh," Venom snickered. "Yeah, goodbye son. Lol. Anyways, thanks for the help. Hope we meet again!" Venom saluted him before jumping away like Hulk, using buildings as footholds and handholds, moving at a fast speed.
Peter, on the other hand, returned back to the factory. He needed to make sure that Carnage was really gone. He couldn't afford it if Carnage survived in some bullshit way he could only describe it as 'somehow'.
Anyways, Peter looked around quickly, and then, opened a portal to the warehouse. He needed to make absolutely sure that Yuri was fine, and he also needed to make his protection spells foolproof.
The last thing he wanted right about now was his girls getting kidnapped without his knowledge.
Or even worse, conceiving babies.
He could save his girls from kidnaps, but babies were a bit too much right now. Sure, he and Gwen were having one, eventually, but that was unplanned, and Peter was ready to take care of it. More kids, on the other hand, would honestly be a piece of baggage.
In the future, sure. He wanted to have an army of little spiders. His little ones, but not for now. At least, Peter needed all infinity stones on his person before even thinking about more kids.
As he left, nothing but silence reigned supreme in the abandoned factory.
In the silence of the place, a small creature wriggled about from behind a destroyed pillar. It was small, and almost unnoticeable.
It wriggled about, screeching like a little child, looking around curiously.
