The chapters do get longer I stil have about 8 more to publish before you're caught up with Wattpad. I try to keep chapters at a minimum length of 1000 words.
(Kagome POV)
We all ran in three different directions. InuYasha and Shippo went left, Sango, Miroku and Kirara went right so Koga and I went straight.
We were running from something that I couldn't see so I was surprised when Koga pulled me to the right.
"Kagome watch out!"
Just then a demon sprung from it's hiding spot and slashed where I had been standing. When it landed the force knocked us off our feet.
We must have been knocked out for a while because Sango and Kirara were looking for my bow and quiver while Miroku watched over me and Koga.
"Unngh!" I groaned and sat up. "I guess that's another reason for their name."
I felt something hard under me. I looked down to see a pink face Koga. As for the hard thing that was... OH! I thought when I realized I was straddling his hips.
"Wow who knew Kagome was so desperate. I prefer the old Kagome."
I soon realized that voice that was kind of fuzzy belonged to InuYasha.
"Well Koga disagrees," I said as I rocked my hips back and forth on him twice.
Koga's face became a darker red as he tried to hold in a groan. I got up and smirked. Sango and Miroku snickered.
(Sango POV)
Usually I would frown at Kagome was doing but InuYasha needs to understand that Kagome is her own person and not a safety net/shard finder.
"Any way... what happened? Did you guys get attacked?" I asked. They nodded.
WHOOSH!
A huge gust of wind came out of no where. We all dropped to the ground. Poor Kagome had to pull her skirt down instead of covering her face. After a while the wind was still blowing, and Kagome stood up.
"This is definitely not an ordinary breeze," She then started chanting one of those spells that her grandfather taught her from her time.
It took me a second to recognize it but when I did, I joined in with her. The gust calmed and we were able to stand again.
"Hey Lord Miroku! What's that?" Shippo asked.
I looked in front and I saw a temple. We approached it slowly. What happened next was a half surprise to us all.
(Kagome POV)
There was a single pulse of dark magic, but it was very feint.
"It's her!" I snarled.
I drew an arrow and then I surged forward to the temple. I heard InuYasha mutter Kikyo. I looked back.
"What does she have to do with-," I paused as I caught sight of a few soul collectors before continuing my stride.
"Don't be ridiculous that woma- statue can't touch me." Then I stopped in front of the door.
"HINA!" I yelled.
All was silent.
"Wow Kagome you've gotten stronger lately. The first time we met your magic was so pure... And now it's tainted with anger." Many people behind me gasped.
"Tell me something I don't know. Is there a reason your here?" I said getting irritated.
"Yes, I would like to talk to you about our deal. I have a feeling you'll change your mind."
