Deadshot

Chapter 7

-Jack-

Scowling furiously, Jack began typing away at his keyboard as he watched the newest group of Vault Hunters reach the beginning ramps to go up to the 'Flying Dragon' derelict that Captain Flynt made his home at. This group, it was far better than they should have been. They were too confident, too organized, and far too bold if they were willing to mock him to his face…or to his echo avatar at any rate. It was all the fault of that one sniping bastard with the bird, this Harry guy.

"Alright you little shit." Jack sneered as he finished typing his new commands into the Hyperion Mainframe "Let's see you handle this." At the push of a button, Helios station began launching loader bots down to assist the Ripper clan in tearing those little shits apart, all the while being broadcast live to the six galaxies. And if by some miracle the group survived and killed the captain? They'd surely take at least some losses and draw the ire of the most dangerous of the three Flynt brothers, the black ops assassin Zane Flynt. "No matter what, I win." Jack grinned, happily munching away as he focused on the imminent bloodbath.

"Angel!" he shouted to his daughter who he knew was watching as well "Be sure to record this for me will ya? I'm thinking of sending it to all the employees."

"Yes Jack." Angel responded emotionlessly as always.

-Harry-

"Moonshot incoming!" Salvador shouted as they started going up the ramps, Claptrap mercifully left behind due to the robot's inability to climb stairs. Impact after impact shook the glacier as canary yellow robots rose up from the craters, their targeting lasers focusing only on Harry and his allies, filling up both the path ahead and the path behind.

"Sal!" Harry shouted, taking charge as he whipped out his pistol, firing out six shots from the revolver into the eyes of the loaders ahead, "You and Axton cover our rear! Tear those fucking tin cans to scrap metal!"

"Gladly amigo." Sal grinned savagely, pulling out two assault riffles as he began to unleash hell, Axton doing the same with his own gun and turret as the ramp they came up from was filled with flying lead and the screams of a hiding claptrap begging the Hyperion Loaders to attack Harry and the other humans rather than himself.

"Hammerlock, Maya! Stay in our center and start sniping, I want you to focus on the big bastards and any flankers. Krieg, keep them safe!" Harry kicked up some debris to block a missile as he reloaded his gun.

"THE POOP TRAIN SHALL NEVER FALTER!" Krieg shouted, his axe screaming with murderous intent.

"Gaige, you and Deathtrap are with me." Harry smirked as he held up his fist, "Let's kick some ass little sis."

"You're on baby bro." Gaige grinned, slamming the back of her own fist against his before they charged, deathtrap rocketing ahead.

Behind his goggles, Harry's eye were laser focused as he ran, jumping and weaving as he fired his guns, occasionally switching from his revolver to a shotgun to deal some point black carnage. He had years of training from many teachers.

Zero had taught him how to snipe.

Sirius had taught him how to shoot.

Lockheart taught him to never underestimate anyone, even a fool.

The Dursleys taught him to keep moving even through the pain.

Quirrell had shown him how to kill.

The Tri-Wizard Tournament had taught him to pick those he trusted with care.

The Wizarding World taught him if he wanted results, he couldn't expect the world to change for him.

But Voldemort and his Death Eaters had taught him the most important lesson of all to survive this world. They taught him not to hesitate.

Snarling, Harry shot out with his hand to stop a Bull loader charging him, focusing his magic through his left hand, "Reducto." He growled out through gritted teeth as the shield shattered under his touch, his hands left steaming and the gloves destroyed for a split moment before he repaired them. Not even missing a beat, Harry raised up his Shotgun and blew apart the stunned loader. Eyes burning with rage, Harry turned to the remaining loaders charging down the ramp along with several bandits. Grabbing a mostly intact loader, Harry shoved his grenades to the front and shot the fuel tank, igniting the liquid as the robots jets activated, shooting like a missile at the charging hoard, impacting right at the center with metal and limbs going flying.

"Who the fuck's next?" Harry glared at enemies attempting to take those he cared about away.

-Angel-

"Oh my." Angel gulped, tugging at her collar as she watched the scene unfold before her. She hadn't been aware of her father's plan till he implemented it, the bastard having a few computers that were kept on a separate mainframe than the ones she had access to and if she tried hacking into them he would know. It was how he kept making robots to 'mind' her as well as the other security measures to keep her a prisoner. Now it was being used to aide in the attack against Harry and she wasn't even able to warn him.

Not that he needed it apparently. Turns out angry Harry was just as exciting for her as cool and cocky Harry. She saw him catch a Bull loader's charge with his bare hands, the metal plate shattering the second it met his palms somehow, before a shotgun did the same to the machine's head.

When he launched his jerry-rigged ballistic missile at a large group of bots and bandits, Angel saw the explosion illuminate his face, hair whipped back by the wind, "Who the fuck's next?" Harry snarled to his enemies and Angel had to fan herself. Looking at the vault hunters she saw they were just as stunned at this version as Harry as she was, all except for his sister Gaige who seemed to recognize it.

"This is what happens if someone goes out of their way to deliberately hurt someone Harry cares about." She heard Gaige inform the others as they regroups, Harry still making his way back, "Hyperion sent those bots to help the bandits, specifically to kill us instead of it just being the typical instance of these crack headed lunatics coming across us and wanting to kill something. To Harry, this was more personal, and he's pissed."

"Gaige, I want you to jerry rig some of these loader legs so Axton's turret can move with us." Harry spoke up as he rejoined the group, face set in stone "These fuckers want a fight? Then let's give em one to talk about when they get to Hell." Sweet damn did she know how to pick 'em.

-Aurelia-

Sitting at the helm of her ship, the Hammerlock daughter saw the broadcast that Hyperion was sending across the whole galaxy, an action she was certain old Jack was regretting as it showed his machines being decimated by a new group of Vault Hunters and her brother. With each dead bandit or destroyed loader, her crew let out a loud cheer, many intrigued by the young leader of the group they were watching. Personally, Aurelia was more focused on watching her brother to reassure herself that he was alive…well that and watching the amusing walking turret that kept charging the panicking bandits and chasing them down. Yes, she was looking forward to her imminent arrival to Pandora.

-Athena-

Sharpening her sword, Athena watched the vault hunter group, including the somehow alive Claptrap, tearing through one of Pandora's many bandit clans. A new generation of Vault hunters, ones that Jack was actually wary of if him helping a bandit clan was any indication. Ones that had a siren, a resurrected vault hunting claptrap, and a new leader who was as ruthless as even she was. She saw them surround the bandit chieftain as Harry gave his orders, the group surrounding the murderer and start taking the man down. Every time one of the bandits started to attack his friends the black-haired sniper went ballistic on them. When the young girl's shield went down and she took some gunfire she saw him go wild against Flynt, firing again and again. The kid didn't miss but he was too focused, refusing to pay attention to what was around him. He certainly had skill, and clearly received some training, but he needed more to be turned from the hunk of iron into a sword.

"Ship's ready love." Turning, she saw Janey waiting there with their bags packed and a grin on her face, "You sure about this? I don't think those blokes at Sanctuary are going to be too happy to see you."

"They can deal with it." Athena snorted, sheathing her blade, "This is our best chance of taking down Jack, I'm not going to let the Crimson Raiders risk mucking it up."

-Zane-

"Aye laddie, you were certainly right about the boy." Zane nodded as he finished a shot of whiskey. Beside him was the infamous sniper Zero as they enjoyed drinks at Zane's favorite assassin bar. "Captain wasn't nearly as good as I am, but it's certainly impressive of your boyo to win."

"Very Much Skilled is he/ My erstwhile apprentice is/ Stronger yet could be." Zero spoke in his usual style of Haiku.

"Yeah, yeah, I get it." Zane grumbled, "Stop showing off with all that flowery poetry crap." Zero's mask projected a frowning emoji "Oh damnit all, fine. I'll go teach the little bugger." The emoji turned into a smiling one "You're lucky I like you damnit."

-Omake-

-Angel-

"Well, well, well!" the irritating Captain Flynt shouted, thrusting an anchor of all things up into the air "Looks like it's our new torture dolls boys! Let's turn up the-!" the man was cut off by a loud bang as a bullet went right into the eye slit of his helmet where the man's yellow eyes gazed out. "Aaaaaaargh!" Flynt flailed about, holding his face, or trying to, now that he was missing an eye "That hurt you little!" there was a loud thud as the man proceeded to accidentally drop his massive anchor on his foot. "Yeowch!" hopping on one foot while cradling a shot-out eye and and some broken toes, the captain made for a rather entertaining sight.

Unable to contain herself, Angel just started giggling at the ludicrous sight, made only worse as Harry whispered into his com "How's that for ya Angel?"

"It's quite good for me." She whispered back, still trying and failing to stifle her giggles, "And it seems you're quite the pirate, overthrowing that 'poor' Captain like that."

"Well if I'm a pirate, it's best I make him walk the plank." Harry shot back and before she could ask what he meant, she heard Harry's rifle go off once more as the bullet flew, going right up the Bandit leader's exit hole as the man squealed like a stuck pig before falling off his high throne perch.

Thud "Ow Head!" thud "Back!" thud "Knee!" thud "Shoulder!" squelch "Oooooooooooh, my tenders." She could hear the bandit trying not to cry as he landed in a split, the squelching sound of his impact implying that even if he survived, the man likely wouldn't be having any kids. "You…damn…brat!" Flynt wheezed, trying to get back to his feet "I'll get you for this! I'll…why are you smiling?!" Flynt was upset that him pointing his pistol at Harry was failing to get the sniper to tremble. In all honestly, Harry and his friends seemed to be struggling to contain their snickers.

"Look up." Harry smiled cheekily as Flynt did so and finally saw his anchor plummeting down towards his face.

"…Oh bugger." The captain sighed before being squished by the massive metal object.

"There ya go Angel." Harry smirked, leaning against a railing as his friends all rushed forward to find any loot that survived the great squish.

"You certainly know how to show a lady a good time." Angel grinned before her eyes glowed while she executed a silent phase shift "And here's a little gift to show my appreciation." Waiting eagerly, Angel saw Harry pull up his Echo as he saw he'd received a sent image. Opening it he saw the picture Angel had just made using her technopathy. It showed herself, minus the siren markings, in a scandalous pirate outfit and the text 'bugger me if I'm right, but aren't you after me 'booty'. It was over the top, it was silly, but damn it all if Angel didn't love seeing how flustered it made Harry as he saved it. "Keep entertaining me and I might just start giving you a collection, 'Captain'." Angel winked at him and blew a kiss before ending the call. Her screens continued to show the feed of the vault hunters meaning she got to see just how Harry reacted to that comment when he thought she didn't see him. Oh yeah, she could get used to this.
