"Freak,"

"W-what?" Santana asked, confused.

"You're a freak. Stay away from me and my daughter." Quinn said with disgust.

"Q-Quinn you don't mean that. You said you liked me," Santana pleaded with tears in her eyes.

"You disgust me, I could never like you. I'm ashamed I ever slept with you." Quinn said loathingly. Santana tried to reach for her, but Quinn slapped her in the face. "Don't touch me!"

Santana sat up from her bed with a gasp. She was sweaty from her nightmare. She took her time catching her breath. It was just a dream. Quinn wouldn't say that to her, right? She looked at her alarm clock, it was only half an hour to her alarm for school, so she might as well get up now. She decided to take a shower to take all of the sweat off of her. After that she changed and headed towards the kitchen to prepare breakfast. Her mom was on a business trip and her dad had been on-call the previous night, so Santana and Quinn were on their own that morning. Her parents usually tried to make breakfast for them, or at least spend time with Santana in the morning.

Santana didn't know what Quinn would be craving that morning, so she decided to make a little bit of everything. The previous days Quinn had wanted weird things for breakfast, like oreos dipped in pickle juice. She decided to make pancakes, bacon and some fruit. When she was about to be done, she saw the blonde standing in the doorway.

"Morning," Quinn muttered.

"Hi," Santana said, not meeting her eyes. She was still weirded out from her dream.

Quinn silently grabbed milk from the fridge and served it in a glass. She noticed how quiet Santana was, which was actually weird, even in the morning. "You're acting strange," Quinn said, sipping from her glass.

"Strange how?" Santana asked, looking up at the blonde.

"You're looking at my forehead and not my eyes, it's kind of creeping me out. Did I do something wrong?" Quinn asked, frowning.

"No, of course not." Santana said, meeting Quinn's eyes. Freak. Her mind repeated. She looked away.

"What's wrong with you?" Quinn asked, getting closer to Santana, trying to catch her gaze.

"Nothing," Santana muttered, avoiding Quinn's eyes, she was afraid of hearing that voice again if she did.

"San, I meant what I said. We're a team. I want you to trust me with things." Quinn said softly, grabbing Santana's face in her hands.

"It's stupid."

"I don't think it's stupid if you're acting like this."

"I-I, god, it's dumb. I had a dream." Santana said, exasperated. She then realized how vague her answer was because Quinn had a frown on her face.

"Oh," Quinn said, her hands falling from Santana's face.

"Not that type of dream. Get your mind out of the gutter Fabray." Santana said, holding Quinn's hands. "It was a nightmare. You just said some pretty fucked up shit." Quinn looked hurt.

"What did I say?" Quinn asked in a small voice.

"It's not important. I know you wouldn't say something like that to me, I was just a bit weirded out." Santana explained. Quinn didn't look reassured. "Look, it was a dumb dream. Like you said, we're a team. I know you care about me, and you would never say anything like that to me." Santana said.

Quinn just nodded silently. Santana decided to further reassure her and hugged her tightly. What she didn't expect was to feel movement on her stomach.

"Was that-" Santana started, but was interrupted by an excited Quinn.

"She kicked!" The blonde said happily.

"Really?" Santana asked, excited to be there for her daughter's first kick.

"Yeah, feel." Quinn said, and grabbed Santana's hand to place it over her baby bump. The brunette felt the baby kick against her hand.

"Quinn, this is so amazing!" Santana said, tears in her eyes. "I can't wait to meet her."

Santana was waiting for Quinn right outside the nurse's office. Quinn had taken it upon herself to make sure Mercedes was eating. She had decided to wait for her instead of going to the cafeteria; she hadn't been there for days, knowing that's where she would be noticed more. She was happily munching on her sandwich while leaning against the wall.

"Hey dude," she heard Puck say.

"Hey man," she greeted. They hadn't really talked since the pool cleaning day.

"What are you doing here?" Puck asked. It seemed like he was just making small talk.

"Just waiting for Quinn," she pointed behind her to the nurse's office.

"Is she alright?" Puck asked, worried. Since when did he care so much about Quinn.

"Yeah, she's just talking to Mercedes." Santana explained. "Since when do you care so much about Quinn?"

"W-what do you mean?"

"I saw the look on your face. Like you're in love with her or something," Santana said, but then came to a realization. "You are in love with her!"

"Whatever dude, I was just trying to be nice," Puck said, turning to walk away.

Santana grabbed his arm and turned him. "Hey, this conversation isn't over. You know you have no chance with her, right? We're friends and shit, but you can't mess around with her. We're going to have a baby, and if you're not serious about it, stay away from her."

"I know that bro!" Puck screamed at her.

"Sorry, I was just making sure. You're a good guy, just not for her," Santana said, softer this time.

With that Puck walked away annoyed. She heard someone behind her clear their throat. Santana turned around slowly and found Quinn standing there. She had a hand on her hip and her eyebrow raised, but she had an amused look on her face.

"Hey girl," Santana said nervously and leaned against the wall.

"What was that?" Quinn asked.

"What was what?" Santana asked, playing stupid.

"You 'defending my honor'?" Quinn asked with air quotes.

"I'm sorry, I know I overstepped. I know I shouldn't have, but I didn't want him to mess around with you if he wasn't going to-," Santana was cut off by a pair of lips against her own. She was surprised but kissed Quinn back as soon as her brain understood what was happening. The kiss wasn't long, but it was sweet. When Quinn pulled away, Santana was grinning like a fool.

"It was cute." Quinn said and walked away.

They were at the roller rink. Santana had helped Quinn into her roller skates and onto the rink. They hadn't spoken about the kiss from earlier, Santana didn't want to read too much into it. She just wanted to believe there would be many more. Santana and Quinn skated together, not really caring about the other members looking at them. Santana wanted to particularly ignore Finn and Puck glaring at her. She knew she shouldn't have said anything to Puck, but she actually felt good about it. She finally stood up for what she wanted, and it ended up great.

"I'm proud of you," Santana said as they were skating. They were holding hands, and Santana was being extra careful with Quinn.

"Why," Quinn asked, smiling.

"For what you did for Mercedes, it was really cool."

"I knew it was the right thing to do, I wasn't going to let someone else be bullied by Sue if I could help it."

"I'm really proud of you."

"They signed a what?" Santana asked, outraged.

"A petition form," Figgins explained.

"Can they even do that?" Mr. Schuester asked.

"Yes, there's nothing I can do. They have signs from more than fifty percent of the girls."

"There has to be a way to fight this," Mr. Schue pleaded.

"The only way to fight this is in a court, I'm sorry Ms. Lopez." Figgins said, and left no room for arguments.

"What do you want me to do then? Do I just not go to the bathroom or use the locker room?" Santana asked.

"Because of your um- sexual organs, you would have to use the boys bathroom and locker room." Figgins explained uncomfortably.

"This is bullshit!" Santana yelled and stood up.

"Santana," Mr. Schuester said in warning, but the latina was already out of the office.

All of the students were seated at the gym for a pep rally. Santana and Quinn were seated on the floor, the blonde sitting in between the brunette's legs. Then the cheerios started coming in and all turned around. Mercedes came in and started a speech.

"How many of you at this school feel fat?" Mercedes asked. The first to raise her hand was Quinn. "How many of you feel like maybe you're not worth very much?" At that Santana raised her hand. Then the rest of the kids started raising their hands when they heard something they identified with.

Mercedes sang the song Beautiful, and Quinn and Santana were the first to stand up and support her. Santana put her arms around Quinn and rested her hands on the baby bump, and the blonde put her hands on top of Santana's. Quinn leaned back to rest against Santana and sang the song to her ear.

Cause we are beautiful

no matter what they say

Santana smiled and joined in.

Yes, words won't bring us down.

As the song ended Quinn kissed Santana on the cheek and mumbled, "You're beautiful."

I don't know what I wrote, I just know I should be studying for a chemistry test, but this was much more interesting than molecular weights. Hope y'all liked it, thanks for the reviews! Love you guys!
