Sunlight spilled into the room, blanketing the bed in its' warm light. The occupant of the bed found the abrupt light unkind, as he tried to open his tired eyes. Groaning, Harry threw an arm over his face, wincing in pain from the movement. Someone sitting beside the bed shuffled and placed a warm hand on Harry's shoulder making him flinch. "Harry?" Harry slowly tilted the arm until one eye was uncovered and slowly blinked. "S-Sirius?"

Sirius smiled sadly. "Hey there pup. Quite a way to make an entrance." Harry blushed and stuttered out an apology. Sirius frowned, "Hey now, none of that. We were worried about you." Harry moved his arm from his face and blinked at the ceiling. "Who knows?" He croaked out, lifelessly. He heard Sirius shuffle onto the bed and turned his head to see his godfather lay down next to him. He too was staring at the ceiling. "Me, Moody, Mad-eye, Tonks, Dumbledore, and Poppy. Didn't want to tell anyone without your permission."

Harry rubbed a hand down his face, exhausted. "Good… good. Could you - not tell anyone? Just tell 'em I'm sick or something." Sirius looked at him for a moment before shrugging and ruffling Harry's hair gently. "Sure pup - but how come?" Harry sat quietly for a moment, fiddling with the sheets. Clearing his throat he spoke lowly. "Well… You know about the row between me and Ron?" With Sirius' nod he continues. "We kinda made up I guess. Had to see me fighting a bloody dragon to believe me. The whole school turned on me except Fred and George. Hermione just tried to play the neutral party. Mrs. Weasley will want to smother me.and Ron will say I'm doing it for attention. Everyone else— It's just private." Sirius sighed and gently hugged Harry to his side. "Of course pup. Wanna see Moony? He's been pacing the floor for hours."

Sirius chuckled when Harry nodded his assent and sent a Patronus out to Remus. A minute later, a soft knock on the door admitted Remus, who sat on the other side of Harry, gently fixing his hair for him. "Hey cub. Glad to see you returned from the land of dreams." Remus smiled when Harry cracked a grin. "Hey Moony. Missed you guys." Sirius kissed Harry's head and left to get him something to eat.

Harry scooted over to the middle of the bed so Remus could lay down next to him. "You know Harry, one time when you were just a tiny babe, you got really sick. Wouldn't sleep for days. James and Lily tried everything but finally grew desperate and called on me and Pads. I think they were hoping we'd just eventually tire you out. Sirius rocked, bounced, and burped you for hours. He refused to give you up. 'I'm his godfather.' He'd say 'It's my job to help him.' Finally, I had enough and pried you from his arms. I walked over to the couch and laid with you on my chest. Soon you were fast asleep." Remus chuckles when Harry smiles gently. "Lily made me stay there for six hours!" Harry's eyes grew wide and Remus laughed harder. "Oh yes. I didn't want to be on the wrong end of her wand on a normal day, but especially when she was a sleep deprived mum. So I told her and James to go have a kip and when they got up she could pay me in chocolate cake. So from then on, whenever James, Lily, or Sirius didn't work, Uncle Moony came to save you." Remus grew quiet and Harry noticed tears in his eyes. "This time" Remus chocked. "This time though Uncle Moony wasn't there. Because I listened to Dumbledore in believing you were better off… Uncle Moony didn't save you in time."

Tears rolled down both their faces and Harry flung himself onto Remus, cuddling into his chest like the child he was never allowed to be. "You're here now Uncle Moony. The past doesn't matter. You're here now." Harry cried. Remus held him tight, rubbing soothing circles on his back, just like when he was a babe. Slowly Harry loosened his iron-clad grip and was asleep again. Remus looked up at the door to see Sirius smiling sadly. "Ahh, I see Uncle Moony saved the day again." He whispered as he slowly made his way back to the bed, laying down on the other side of Harry. Remus sighed before whispering hoarsely, "I'm not leaving him again Pads. They can't make me." Sirius frowned and wrapped his arm around Harry, laying his hand on Remus' arm. "Neither am I Moony. Neither am I."

A few hours later Remus, Sirius, and Harry woke up and ate a small lunch. The Marauders told Harry tales from their days at Hogwarts. All of James' greatest pranks. All the times Lily hexed James for professing his undying love for her. How James was struck mute when Lily finally accepted his invitation to Hogsmeade seventh year. How when James proposed, it wasn't Lily who cried but James, who then danced and screamed, "SHE SAID YES!" Marlene insisted on checking Lily for potions or curses saying "There is no way she agreed to marry that toe-rag." Because that's what Lily called James for six years.

Finally they settled down and Sirius grew… well - serious. "I know you don't want to talk about it pup, but I think it could help. Plus if we, me and Moony, do not even know the bare minimum we can't help you." Sirius held up a hand when Harry when to protest. "We know something had to have happened considering your condition when you arrived." Remus then picked up, "You don't have to tell us everything cub, but know that we won't disclose it to anyone without your consent."

Harry adjusted himself on the bed to lean against the headboard. "I don't know what to really say or where to begin. Ron knows a bit from rescuing me before our second year with Fred and George. Then again when Mr. Weasley and the twins came to collect me before the Quidditch Word Cup. No one else knows. I tried telling Dumbledore how much they hate me, but he would just tell me I am safe there and send me back. He'd say the Weasley's could not afford me even for the summer or that Remus couldn't take me in because of him being a werewolf after I asked third year." Harry stopped, lost in thought, but was jolted when Remus spoke up. "How about just start at the beginning. From what you remember." Harry looked from Sirius to Remus before letting out a long breath.

Once Harry began, the pain made the words flow like water. He told them how he always remembered sleeping in the cupboard, even though Dudley had two rooms and there was a guest room when Vernon's sister Marge visited. He never had his own clothes, only hand-me-downs from Dudley that were three sizes too big. When he was big enough he was made to cook, clean, and work in the garden. No matter the weather, he was outside working. He only ate their scraps which wasn't much if any.

When Harry went to school he didn't know his own name. It was always "freak" or "boy" until his teacher called on him. He couldn't do good at school because it made Dudley look bad. He wasn't allowed to do his homework. Even on summer break from Hogwarts they locked up his school trunk, so the next year the professors got angry. When his Hogwarts letter came it was addressed to "The Cupboard Under the Stairs". So the Dursley's got paranoid and moved him to Dudley's second room. Dudley got angry at Harry and threw him down the stairs.

The letters kept coming, so he got locked in the cupboard for days. Vernon nailed the mail slot, doors, and windows shut, but they flew in from the fireplace, hundreds at a time. Harry finally got his hands on one but of course he was caught and remembered not waking for days. Vernon packed up the family and took them to a hotel. When a letter came there he took them to a small island where there was a shack in the middle of the sea, during a storm. That night, Hagrid burst in and told him he was a wizard. Told him about magic, about Voldemort killing his parents. The Dursley's said they were drunks who died in a car crash. He gave Harry his first ever birthday cake and then the next morning took him to Diagon Alley for school supplies. There Hagrid bought him his first birthday present — his owl, Hedwig.

On Summer break, after first year Dobby, a house elf, came to stop Harry from returning to Hogwarts and dropped a cake on one of the Dursley's guest. Then the locks on the door were installed and a cat flap where they would give him a cold can of soup once a day, that he shared with Hedwig. Bars were put on his window to prevent him escaping but Fred and George flew Ron in their dad's flying car, ripped the bars off the window, and took him to The Burrow. He snuck out into the night to cry because he got his friends in trouble but Fred and George came and held him and said it was worth it. He still doesn't believe them

"So it just continued like that. I only go home on summer hols. They make me be their house elf, smack me around a bit, and then usually the Weasley's come and collect me before it gets too bad. They see some marks but just look sad and say nothing. Except the twins. They take me to their room and heal what they can while trying to make me laugh." Harry wiped his face and looked at Sirius and Remus. He could tell they were trying to keep their emotions under control so he asked if they could sneak the twins in without anyone noticing. They reluctantly agreed. Each placing a kiss on the crown of his head.

Sirius and Remus exit Sirius' bedroom and head downstairs to find the prankster twins. Entering the drawing room, the Marauders find Molly bossing around all the kids. Giving Remus an exasperated look, Sirius claps his hands and everyone stops. "Molly, Remus and I need to borrow Fred and George for an extensive job on the upper floors." Fred and George grin at each other and mock-salute Sirius. "Gred" "and Forge" "Reporting for duty sir!" With a chuckle from the Marauders and a glare from Molly, Sirius lead them to his bedroom door.

Throwing up a silencing charm he gave the twins a determined look. "Alright boys, Harry wish's to see you in secret. No telling anyone you've spoken to him. No telling anyone his condition. No upsetting him. Got it?" At their nods he motions to Remus to follow him. "Come along Moony." They stop at the sound of twin gasp. Remus frowns, "Padfoot, something is amiss." The twins gape at them before dropping to their knees. "We're not worthy! Oh great prank gods!" Sirius smirks, "Messer Moony, Messer Padfoot thinks someone has found the map." Remus chuckles, "Messer Moony believes that Messer Padfoot is correct in his brilliant assumption." The twins look awestruck until Fred frowns in confusion. "So Remus is Moony, obvious. Sirius is Padfoot, also obvious. I'm guessing Wormtail is the traitor?" At their nods the George continues for his brother. "So who's Prongs?" with a sad smile Sirius says, "James— Harry's dad. He was a stag." The twins nod before bursting into Sirius' bedroom to see Harry. The Marauders smile when they hear, "Oi! You've been holding out on us!" "Son of a Marauder right under our noses!"

Sirius and Remus continue on to the attic where Remus sits in an old chair and Sirius takes a deep breath. Quick as a whip Sirius begins destroying everything in site. Screams and cries reverberate off of the silencing charm. After an hour Sirius collapses into Remus' lap where they hold each other and cry. They cry for James and Lily, for Sirius' time wasted in Azkaban, for Harry being abandoned, and for blindly following Dumbledore and his damn greater good.

Back in Sirius' room the twins and Harry are laughing at the display they put on for the Marauders. They climb into bed, one on each side of Harry. When the covers are pulled down they notice the bruises on Harry and freeze. Harry, noticing where their gaze has fallen, quickly tries to cover up. George lays a soft hand on top of Harry's while Fred mumbles out angrily "Fucking sadist muggles." Harry sighs, "It's nothing guys. I'll be good as new soon enough." He tries to pull the covers back up while blushing but the twins stop him again. With mischievous grins at each other the say "Brother, me thinks Harry feels exposed." "Yes brother, me thinks he does too." "Maybe we should join him." "Hmm too true brother. Then he wouldn't be the odd one out."

Before Harry can protest, both twins rip off their t-shirts and shake out their shoulder length hair. "Better Har?" Fred smirks. Harry blushes redder and stared at them both. George leaned over and whispered in Harry's ear, "Like what you see little raven?" Harry jerks back and rubs his face. Fred laughs, "Oh come on Harry, you know you want to play along. Like last year, after your first task hmm?" George continues, "Your lovely little lips look so lonely Har." Harry looks back and forth before slowly nodding. George carefully turns Harry's head , running his thumb along his jaw before slanting his lips softly against his. Harry slowly reacts and runs his hands up George's arm to the wrist that is cradled against his jaw, holding it loosely.

Fred, the more wild of the twins, knocked his brother's hand away and turned Harry to him. Fred's kiss was fast and hard unlike George but felt just as good. Fred wove his hand into Harry's messy locks while George rubbed Harry's back. Harry couldn't breathe. He felt all consumed. Passed back and forth between the two brothers. While one claims his lips the other trails cool hands on his hot flesh. Lips trace lines along his neck, sucking on his pulse point. A moan rips from Harry's throat which caused the other two to join him. Harry felt like he was on fire as he drug his hands through their long, red locks, gently tugging. Fred growled into his mouth while George whimpered into the crook of his neck.

Then, BANG! The door swung open and they broke apart panting. Sirius gasped, "Oi! I sent you in to make him feel better not steal my godson's innocence!" Remus chuckles while shaking his head. The twins clasp their chest dramatically. Fred though, smirks at Sirius before replying, "To b fair, I do believe we made him feel better." Sirius growled and Fred quickly snapped his jaw shut. "Times up boys. Go take cold showers." Remus said while trying to stifle a laugh. They grabbed their shirts, kissing Harry's temples, and fled with a quick, "Bye Love!"

Sirius flopped face down on his bed when Remus closed the door. "Pup, my heart is broken. BROKEN!" Remus clapped Sirius on the shoulder, "Always with the dramatics Padfoot." Sirius glared at Remus before turning his gaze to Harry and gasped. Harry hid his face while Sirius exclaimed loudly, "A hickey! Moony! A hickey!" Remus rolled his eyes, "Yes Pads because you have never given or been given a hickey in your life." Sirius went to reply but found Harry shaking. Remus made his way to Harry and tried to put a hand on his, but Harry flinched away, hard. Remus swallowed thickly, "Hey cub… what's wrong? Sirius was just kidding." Harry still did not move but choked out,"I'm a freak!" Remus and Sirius shared a look in confusion before Remus asked, "Cub why would you think that?"

Harry sobbed, "Because I kissed not one guy but two!" Sirius laughed but quieted with the teary glare from his godson. "Harry first of all if kissing a guy makes you a freak, join the club." He chuckles before continuing, "Second it is normal for twins to be in a triad. In fact some triads are very magically powerful together which would be a damn good thing right now with old snake face out to get everyone." Harry scoffed in disbelief, "You've kissed a guy?" Remus and Sirius looked at each other laughing softly before Remus moved and sat behind Sirius and kissed his cheek. "What do you think pup?" Harry burst out in a watery laugh. "Okay, how the hell did I miss that?" Remus smiled softly, "You've been busy Harry. Hell we've all been busy. We don't broadcast it simply because, well it's no ones business really. We don't hide but we also don't show boat around." Sirius nods, "Homophobia is a big deal in the muggle world but not so much in the magical world. Well some families worry due to the whole having an heir thing, but there are ways around that honestly."

After a few moments, Sirius checked to see how Harry was feeling and gave him his potions. Harry questioned Remus and Sirius on what to expect at his hearing that was to take place in just a few days. They gave him some pointers; do not speak unless spoken to, keep your emotions in check, never relay information that is unimportant or not asked for, "And most importantly, you are a representation of the House of Potter. Do you have a set of nice robes to wear or maybe a muggle suit?" questioned Sirius.

Harry looked at him bewildered and casually gestured to his trunk. "That- is all I own." he stated dryly. Sirius looked at him quizzically, but got off the bed and wandered over to Harry's trunk. Sirius whistled lowly, "One thing is for sure pup, you could use a new trunk. This one looks like it's taken a beating." Harry winced, "Uncle Vernon tends to just throw it around. Plus I got it second-hand when I started school, not wanting to spend too much money." Remus turned to Harry, "You know what cub, I'll take you soon. I know someone who makes some pretty special trunks. May come in handy for you." Harry smiled at him brightly just as Sirius began to go through Harry's things. "Okay we've got dress robes, that won't work… school uniforms… hmm… muggle clothes that look threadbare and way too big for you… quidditch jerseys. Hey Harry? Since when are you a Weasley?" Sirius teased when he held up a Gryffindor quidditch jersey with the name WEASLEY on the back. Sirius arched a brow when Harry blushed and mumbled out "Don't know how that got there…" while looking at the ceiling.

Sirius scratched at his short beard, "Well beside the fact that you need a whole new wardrobe, we need to worry about just a set of robes for the moment. I'd send Kreacher but he's a real prat…" Harry looked up and asked quietly, "How about Dobby?" At Remus and Sirius' questioning look he explained, "He's a free elf but he's my friend." Remus frowned, "while I'm sure he'd help you it's not very safe having a house elf that would be free to say as he wished… for your safety. Plus he'd need access to the Potter vaults so he'd have to be part of the House of Potter…" Remus trailed off while Harry squirmed.

"I… it isn't like slavery right?" Sirius sat down and wrapped an arm around Harry's shoulders. "I know Hermione is your friend, and she thinks she means well… most house elves do not want to be free. They thrive off of the family magics. Sure some elves are treated horribly but most elves are not. Their payment comes from safe homes and appreciation. If you wanted to award an elf with say money or time off and they agree that's fine too. I'm sure if you explain to him that it was for your safety he'd want to help you pup."

Harry snorted, "Last time he wanted to keep me safe he dropped a cake on the Dursley's guest, blocked me from platform 9 3/4 , and charmed bludgers to attack me. Well… 2nd task he did bring me the gillyweed… alright… I'll ask him. Dobby, if you want to could you please come here, thank you." A few seconds later Dobby arrived with a crack dressed in a shrunk down Gryffindor jumper and mix matched socks. "Harry Potter! Dobby is so excited to see you! Yes Dobby is!" Harry smiled and hugged Dobby before holding his hands.

"Dobby, I seem to be in need of a set of robes for a Wizegamount hearing and I was going to ask you but my Uncle Remus here made a point. With you being free… it could accidentally put me in danger…" Harry trailed off as Dobby's eye filled with tears. "The great Harry Potter wishes Dobby to be his elf?" Dobby whispered. Harry rubbed his neck nervously, "I wouldn't ask if it wasn't important Dobby and you can always say no and I'll still be your friend." Dobby wailed and flung himself onto Harry. "The great Harry Potter sir is a great wizard. Such a kind wizard. Dobby wants to be Harry Potter's elf. Harry Potter is Dobby's friend!" Harry patted the tiny elf and smiled, "Okay Dobby, tell me how."

So Dobby showed Harry how to accept him as a Potter elf and then collected letters explaining what Harry needed for robes and one for Gringotts to allow Dobby access to his vault. Harry's mind was reeling from the high emotions of the day and fell asleep to the sound of Remus reading from The Tales of Beedle the Bard.
