Check out all this stuff" Asta said as he picked up a spherical Object and opened it as it displayed something holographically.
Hey Careful Asta we don't know what kind of things are in here" Noelle said as she poked a bubble that refused to pop.
Kirby was currently climbing atop a pile of gold coins and jewels and then sliding down it. while Meta Knight, Link, Zelda, Impa and Starlow were looking around cautiously and discreetly
So please Tell me where is this Malicious presence you spoke about earlier? "Klaus said
"Keep an eye out for a large Red/Purple Crystal, and when you do be careful and do not touch it" Zelda said
"It shouldn't be to hard to find" Starlow said
All of them were currently searching the vault, Yuno happen to stumble upon some kind of scroll.
"What is this?" Yuno said a she opened it up
"Find anything interesting?" Klaus said
"A Scroll of some kind, although its written in some sort of language I don't understand?" Yuno said
Suddenly the Scroll then shined bright as the words on it suddenly disappeared. leaving Yuno confused.
Zelda, Link and Impa were still looking but as they did Nero then quickly flew right by them to get there Attention.
"Its Astas bird" Link said
Nero then landed as she pointed towards an area that they haven't searched yet and as Zelda drew close, she then felt a terrible presence along with Link and as they looked they saw the Crystal floating there as Black like tendrils were Burrowed into the ground at the bottom of it
"I think we may have found it" Zelda said
It appears so" Link said
Link and Zelda manage to get everyone's attention towards the crystal as all of them looked at it with concern
"So this is what you were talking about?" Klaus said
"Yes, that is what we were looking for" Zelda said
Klaus pushed up his glasses as he looked at it
"What exactly is it?" Klaus said
"Its a dangerous object that produces a toxic substance that is a poison to all living things, we call it Malice" Impa said
"Malice?" Klaus said
"While you were here did you manage to come across a weird black substance around the Dungeon?" Impa said
"Now that you mention it while we were flying towards the Vault we did catch glimpses of something like that spread across some of the walls, me and my Colleagues thought it would be unwise to mess with it given the amount of dangers and traps that we were told that Dungeons have, we just payed no mind and moved on" Klaus said
"That substance you seen has originated from this Crystal, and by the looks of it, its been here a long time" Impa said
"So what do we do with it?" Asta said
"Simple, Destroy it" Impa said
"And how do you propose we do that?" Klaus said
"Malice Crystals can be destroyed through conventional means, magic of any kind can be used as well, but Light Magic is the more easier approach and its the guaranteed way to wipe it out completely which in turn will eradicate the remaining malice that is in this Dungeon" Impa said
"Which is why were not going to take any chances with anything else at the moment" Zelda said as she put her hands together and as she did a bright yellow circle formed underneath her.
"Your using Magic, without a Grimoire?" Mimosa said surprisingly
"Whoa that's so Cool!" Asta said
"How very interesting" Klaus said with a sign of curiosity.
Zelda then concentrated all of her light magic into one specific point in her hand to make sure that the Crystal was obliterated for good
But before she could blast it away something loud quickly got there attention as Mars Grimoire that Klaus had in his Possession suddenly started to Glow as the Secure spell that Klaus put on it suddenly was broken as it zipped out of his hand.
Luck then sensed a strong presence from outside the Vault
"EVERYONE RUN!" Luck yelled
Everyone turned towards the Vault Door as it was completely blasted apart catching everyone by surprise, and as the dust cleared they then saw what caused it, it was Mars in his huge Giant Crystal made titan but only this time he along with his titan armor was covered in flames but what was really distinct was that black veins were spread across his neck as his Eyes shined purple and red which Impa, Zelda and Link took Notice very quickly
"Hes been taken over" Impa said
The Strong survive and the weak will Die" Mars said in a kind of tranced tone.
Seeing mars covered in fire as his injuries started to go away made him go wide eyed
"Hes using Fire recovery Magic? being able to use more then one kind of magic should be impossible" Klaus said shocked
Mars then summoned more Crystals quickly catching Luck, Yuno and Klaus trapping them in place.
"Don't worry I'll put the fire out!" Noelle said as she summoned Water, Mars quickly looked towards her and then at fast pace quickly punched her as she was sent flying back
"NOELLE!" Mimosa, Starlow and Asta screamed
Asta then quickly summoned his Grimoire as he took out his Anti Magic sword running towards Mars as Mimosa quickly ran to Noelle. Mimosa quickly ran to Noelle as she was on the ground seething in pain with blood coming out of her chest area
Oh no that looks really bad" Starlow said conerningly
don't worry i wont let her die" Mimosa said as she summoned her magic as two wings made out of plant
As Mars sent out crystal shards towards him as Asta deflected them, Kirby quickly then quickly sucked up the remains of the crystals and then transformed into Crystal Kirby He then quickly took care of Yunos, Klaus and Lucks Crystal restraints as he barreled right through them.
Zelda destroy the Crystal quickly!" Impa yelled
Zelda quickly turned towards the Crystal and was ready to blast it away but before she could vines quickly popped out of the ground near her quickly wrapping her up and canceling her Magic Attack.
"ZELDA!" Link and Impa yelled as they ran to her to get her out of her binds, but as they did more Vines appeared out of ground catching them off Guard, they then saw the Malice Crystal was quickly covered in Vines and quickly Disappeared into the ground.
"Damn" Impa said as she sliced away the vines that was in her way with Link soon following through as well Impa quickly ran towards Zelda and sliced the vines clean off of her setting Zelda Free.
All of them looked and saw that even more Vines were now popping out of the ground,
"What the Hell is going on?!" Yuno said as he quickly dodged away from the Vines trying to grab him, Meta Knight quickly sliced away any vines that came his way as Kirby quickly Dodged them jumping and rolling out of the way Klaus using his Steel Creation Magic to make Sharp Spears and cutting any vines that came his way, while Luck was frying them to a crisp with his lightning magic,
Asta in the Meantime was trying to get Close to Mars but was unable to do so as Mars kept throwing projectile after projectile completely distracting him from the upcoming vine that was sneaking behind him as it quickly grabbed his leg and tripped him
What the?" Asta said
But before he could do anything Mars quickly took his giant titan arm and hit him causing him to fly back and crashing through the nearby wall
Asta!" Mimosa screamed as she was trying to heal Noelle, Mars then drew his Attention towards Mimosa
The Strong survive and the weak die" Mars said as he sent out crystal projectiles towards Mimosa.
"MIMOSA!" Klaus yelled
Starlow then quickly got in front of Noelle and Mimosa as she closed her eyes and focused as a giant bright circle appeared underneath them and as the projectiles came they bounced off of some kind of invisible force.
"Its time that I return the favor for you both" Starlow said to Mimosa and Noelle said
Mars kept bombarding the force field with endless crystals
"She wont be able to hold that field for long" Meta Knight said as he quickly flew towards them
Klaus and Yuno did the same as they turned towards Mars ready to Attack.
Mars then quickly stomped the ground as a few Crystal Minions quickly Appeared out of the ground along with more vines
Great not these things Again" Yuno said
Impa, Zelda, and Link quickly ran to there sides
Dont worry we all got your back" Link said as he took out his sword and Shield, Impa with her Nagianta and Zelda with her Rapier as they quickly charged towards the obstacles.
Kirby was Currently in the middle of dodging Vines as he quickly made his way towards Luck.
Kirby then saw him shooting out balls of light ning towards the Vines which gave Kirby an idea, Kirby then ran as fast as he could as he jumped towards the next upcoming lightning ball
Hey GET OUT OF THE WAY!" LUCK yelled
Kirby then quickly inhaled as he sucked up the Ball of Lightning.
Kirbys body color quickly changed from Pink to Light blue along with continuous lightning sparks appearing atop of his head.
Kirby then quickly started to Zip around the entire vault striking Vine after Vine, as all of them started to be burnt to a crisp and then vanishing
"Good Work Kirby" Meta Knight said as he was deflecting the Crystal Projectiles away from Starlow, Mimosa and Noelle.
Mars then started to show signs of irritation as his attack was not getting through so he instead he decided to use a more forward approach as he now started to advance forwards them.
"Hes getting closer now!" Meta knight said
"Mimosa how much longer?" Starlow said
Mimosa then started to sweat as she noticed that healing Noelle's wound was taking longer then expected, she already used a great deal of magic to heal herself and Starlow and she's started to think that she may not have enough energy left to fully heal her. she she looked and saw everyone giving there all to push back against the onslaught of attack that coming there way, everything
"I admire everything about you Noelle your hardwork and determination, and just like you i wont give up" Mimosa said
Meta Knight was getting ready to attack Mars head on as he got closer and closer but as he did, all of them then looked and saw giant explosion coming from the wall that Asta crashed through and when they looked they saw Asta battered and bruised but still standing with a determined look on his face and in his hand a brand new Sword one that was a lot thinner but more efficient to handle.
"HEY, I'M NOT DONE!" Asta yelled as he started to run towards Mars and as he did, All the Crystal Minions then drew there attention from the rest of the team as they all headed towards Asta, but as they got close Asta simply cut them down like it was nothing. Mars then sent out projectiles towards again which Asta also deflected but he was then able to get a good hit on Mars knicking his shoulder but it wasn't enough to break the armor as Asta was Pushed back right by Starlows field. he then saw the wound that he inflicted on him suddenly heal
" Even if I cut through his magic armor as he has that Recovery magic I won't be able to defeat him Damn what do I do?" Asta said as he looked towards Mimosa, Starlow, and Meta Knight.
"What do you think Stupidsta?"
Everyone there looked and saw that Noelle opened her eyes
"Noelle" Mimosa said shocked
"Your the first peasant that I a Royal has ever acknowledged. Hurry Up and defeat that guy" Noelle said weakly as she looked at him with a hopeful gaze
it was then at that moment Asta new sword then suddenly glowed Blue leaving everyone confused, Asta then looked at it with astonishment and then looked back towards Mars.
"Mars then quickly sent out projectiles only for Meta Knight to quickly deflect them and not let them hit Asta
Asta then as he swung his sword in a horizontal way, it let out energy slash that ended up hitting Mars titan armor with enough force that it knocked him back
"what just happened?" Klaus said
"It appears that the sword absorbed magic and Asta released it in a horizontal slash" Impa said
"How? Asta doesn't have Magic" Klaus said
"Thats because the magic didn't come from Asta" Zelda said as she looked to Noelle
But now that he's staggered we need to take this chance to stop this guy now" Link said
"Its going to be hard to get through his fire recovery magic" Klaus said
"Don't worry that shouldn't be a problem" Impa said as she walked forward and then a blue Magic Circle appeared from underneath her she then stretched her arm out to her side as a hilt started to rise up as Impa pulled it out completely as a giant blade made out of Water. as she took a fighting stance.
She then quickly sprinted towards Mars as he tried to balance himself and then quickly swiped his titan arm towards her but when he did Impa in a flash went for a downwards slash with her water Blade and in a flash sliced the titan arm completely off, shocking Mars.
Klaus then quickly summoned Steel spiraling spears and launching them towards Mars Staggering him, Link quickly taking out an Arrow as a magic Circle appeared under him as the arrows tip then shined blue
"Ice Arrow" Link said as he shot the arrow near Mars Titans foot as it got stuck in place
was and then finally Luck quickly flying towards Mars with a quick Lightning Strike,
Zelda then went for the final blow as she raised her palm and then released the built up Light Magic that she stored and aimed it towards Mars completely obliterating His form all together and sending him flying into a nearby Wall as he slid off and dropped to the ground eyes rolled over Unconscious as the black markings on his body disappeared.
Everyone then started to breath a sigh of relief,
"Is...Is it finally over?" Mimosa said
But as soon as she said the room then suddenly started to rumble and then at fast paste More Veins popped out of the floor but even more surprising larger ones appeared outside of the Vault door as the Vines were even faster as they quickly Grabbed, Klaus, Zelda, Impa, Yuno , Kirby and Luck quickly as it wrapped around them and pulled them out of the Vault
"GUYS!" Asta Yelled as him and everyone else that didn't tangled ran out of the Vault and when they did all of them looked up wide eyed as they all saw the Giant Monstrosity in front of them that was hanging onto there friends high up into the air by the bodies, A Huge Plant creature, a stalk standing at least 30 feet tall with a huge bulbous purple plant head with a large Evil Eye on top of it with a Huge Mouth and Sharp Teeth, it was drenched in Malice as the stalk was covered in black Thorns and Multiple Vines spread all over the place.
The Plant Creature then roared at them as it rumbled the whole room.
Hello Everyone I'm back and Again I'm' sorry for the long delay, Alot of good Games have come out lately and I have been busy playing Horizon Forbidden West and Elden Ring I was hoping to end the arc here on this chapter but it turned out to be way longer then I anticipated so the next will be the last.
