Hello and welcome back and to answer Guests Question, the reason why I decided to change the story from being a Smash Bros Crossover to a Legend of Zelda Crossover was because at the time of me developing the story Most of it was going to be Heavily based on Zelda Lore, but now as I am fleshing out the story more I may consider on switching it back to being a Smash Bros Crossover.
"What is that thing!?" Starlow yelled
"Its the plant that we killed earlier in the Dungeon" Asta said as he recognized the similarities
All of them looked and noticed the ones that were tied up and dangling all of them Struggling to get free.
"Do Not worry I'll get them free" Meta Knight said as he flew up towards his companions.
The Monster then quickly shot out thorns from one of its main Big Vines towards Meta Knight as he quickly stopped and tried to deflect them, this however left him open as another vine quickly sprouted from the ground and hit Meta Knight Back hard.
"
The Monster then quickly lashed out using one of his Main large vines as it slammed right near the Team as they all quickly jumped out of the way.
It then started to shoot out spikes from its Vines as Both Link and Asta Deflected them as best they could, but then
As for the ones that were trapped in the vines all of them were squirming trying to get free, but to no avail, but Impa was trying something else,
She then closed her eyes as she concentrated and focused her body then started to glow as a blue ring appeared underneath her, and then in a flash off the vines around Impa was quickly sliced into pieces the beast screeched in pain as Impa landed to the ground with
Impa!" Link yelled as he quickly tossed her back her Naginta
The Monster quickly sent dozens of spiky vines towards them only for Impa to quickly start cutting through them like butter.
Link Quickly shot a couple of Ice Arrow towards the small vines that quickly froze up and shattered
The Monster roared in agitation but suddenly the vines that held Zelda, Luck, Klaus, Yuno and Kirby started to glow and then all of them then started to feel weak. The Monster then started sprouting more vines.
"That thing is draining them of there energy!" Meta Knight said
We need to get them free!" Starlow yelled
Link then quickly started shooting more ice arrows towards the vines but then The Monster then let pulled its head back as it let out a Fire ball towards them dissolving the the arrows
"WATCH OUT!" Starlow screamed as she quickly flew towards them all and summoned her barrier to protect them as it impacted with huge force
Starlow are you okay? Meta Knight said
I'm fine but that was a big hit" Starlow said slightly sweating as she kept the barrier up for now
Everyone looked and noticed that there friends didn't have much time left. as there friends was only slightly moving now
"What Are we going to do!" Mimosa said in a scared tone
Meta Knight then quickly started to come up with an idea as he looked at Kirby and then thinking back at link use of his Ice arrows
"Everyone come over here I have a plan" Meta Knight said
Link and everyone then quickly went to Meta Knight as he quickly spoke to them
"You got it?" Meta Knight said
"I do now all we need to do is distract that thing so I can"
"im on it, HEY YOU STUPID WEED LET MY FRIENDS GO!" Asta yelled as he charged towards it, The Monster then started to rapidly fire mini fireballs towards him , Asta quickly deflecting them away but as he got close a wall of vines quickly grew infront of him as they jet forward towards him Asta quickly put his sword in front of him to block as he was hit hard and skid across the floor. The Vines quickly started to head towards him but before the vines could catch up they were quickly deflected and cut by Meta Knight even more vines quickly appeared, Impa then quickly jumped as she started to slice them to bits, while they were distracting, Link then quickly readied his Ice Arrow as he quickly aimed towards him and then Shot it.
"KIRBY!" Starlow yelled
Kirby then slowly opened his eyes as he saw the Arrow coming towards him, Kirby then quickly opened his mouth and sucked it in, at first nothing was happening but then his eyes shot open as he glowed as his skin turned from pink to blue and Ice spikes emerged from his head. The Vine that was now holding kirby were now completely freezing over as it shattered. Kirby then quickly floated towards the Monsters Head and quickly started to shoot out an immense Ice breath as it roared in annoyance.
Impa then took the oppurtunity as she quickly ran towards her allies as she quickly jumped and cut down Zelda, Klaus, Luck and Yuno down as they all dropped to the ground and all of them were slowly trying to get up. Impa quickly went to Zelda to check her
"Are you alright?" Impa said
"I'm fine" Zelda said weakly
Klaus slowly got up as he walked toward Yuno
"Are you alright?" Klaus said
"I just need a minute..." Yuno said weakly and sweating
Kirby now becoming exhausted quickly stopped his ice breathing as he fell down back onto the ground and rolled back to everyone else.
To say the Monster was angry was an understantment.
it then raised his two Main big vines up and then started shooting multiple thorns almost everyone was on there last legs and running on fumes.
Get ready!" Klaus yelled as he quickly summoned his grimoire and conjured a steel wall as it blocked the projectiles but at the same time vines appeared from ground and quickly wrapped the wall as it was now slowly being bent over and before it bent completly Starlow then summoned her Barrier protecting everyone as the spikes started rained down on them all while vines were now wrapping around the barrier ans squeezing it hard,
Starlow was starting to feel strained as the barrier started to flicker.
Impa and Link quickly started to cut up the vines surrounding the barrier but the spikes just kept coming.
"I cant hold the barrier anymore!" Starlow yelled
" everyone with a weapon Get ready!" Impa yelled
Link, Asta, Meta Knight, and Impa surrounded the Others.
and as the barrier went down, the four of them then quickly started to deflect the spikes with there blades as fast as they can away from there weakened friends.
Yuno just looked on in frustration as he saw Asta and the other protecting them.
"I need to do something Im sick of them putting there lives on the line for me" Yuno thought
then suddenly the spikes stopped. and as they looked they noticed that all four of them were scrapped and bruised from the thorns as they all breathed heavily.
The Monster then started to tilt his head as fire started to develop in its mouth.
Everyone then looked with concern.
"I need to do something now!" Yuno thought
And then The Monster let out a huge Fireball as it headed towards the group.
Yuno then summoned his Grimoire but as he did it glowed bright as Everything then just stopped as if time just froze all together, the only one that seem to have not been affected was Starlow.
"Whats going on?" Starlow said to herself
Yuno and Starlow then looked and noticed a little fairy looking creature with short blonde hair in a small green dress as she yawned she then casually put her hand close to her mouth as she then blew out a small portion of wind towards the fireball.
Time then suddenly came back and when it hit, the wind picked up and became larger and stronger as it not only distinguished the fireball but the current kept going forward shredding the small vines and hitting The Monster like a cannon as it was pushed back hitting the wall with a large thud.
Whoa! Yuno what was that?!" Asta yelled with a shocked expression.
Yuno was left speechless he didn't really know what to say
All of them noticed the monster was really hurt and dazed after the attack with its mouth open they looked and noticed the Malice Crystal
There it is!" Link yelled
"This will be our only chance we wont get another opening like this we need to finish it off now" Impa said
"Then I guess its time we play our final cards" Meta Knight said as he prepped his sword
"Took the words right of my mouth" Impa said
Zelda then turned towards Asta
"Asta come over here quickly we have a plan" Zelda said
Asta then quickly went to Zelda She then placed her hand on his blade as it slightly glowed.
She and Impa then quickly layed out the plan as she explained while Impa and Meta Knight distract it with Luck, Klaus and Yuno as support the will use his blade make an opening for Link to Strike with the Light Arrow.
Kirby then walked towards Noelle and Mimosa as Noelle raised her hand up and conjured up a water spell
I put most of my light magic into your blade, so make your hits count" Zelda said
"You got it" Asta said
" Link I'll need you here while I conjure up a Light Arrow" Zelda said
Link nodded
Meta Knight and Impa then stepped forward
A Magic Circle appeared underneath Impa but rather then it being Blue it was Red and out of the ground emerged a another Naginta this time being made completely out of Fire.
"You can use Fire Magic To?!" Klaus yelled
Meta Knights sword then started to glow as he started mumbling words that no one besides Starlow could understand as the Blade of his sword suddenly busted in flames
Lets Finish this" Impa said
She and Meta Knight quickly sped towards The Monster as Luck summoned his Grimoire as lightning started to cover his limbs, as Kirby now in his water form they both looked at each other and nodded as they went forwards as well.
The Monster then tried to hit Impa with one of his big Vines but she quickly dodged as she dragged the Fire Naginata through the large vine splitting it right down the middle,
Meta Knight went to the Other Vine as he flew forward and started to swirl around the vine with his blade as the large vine was cut into chunks as it dropped to the ground. The Monster then sprouted smaller longer Vines stretching towards them both. And before it can react Kirby quickly sprayed them with water as Luck struck them with his lightning paralyzing them.
Asta then ran towards the Monster as fast as he could The Monster then started to shoot out spikes towards him. Meta Knight quickly flew by Asta side and quickly started deflect them and away from his path.
"THANKS!" Asta yelled as he continued forward
Back with Link and Zelda, finished creating the Light Arrow as she handed it to him
"As soon as Asta gives you the opening..." Zelda said
"I wont Miss" Link said
back with Asta, he then used all his strength to quickly jump high into the air to get a clear hit on the Monsters head, The Monster quickly started to spewing small fireballs towards him only for Kirby to quickly spew Water at them with the help of Luck carrying him in the air. Asta with a huge Grunt quickly unleashed the slash of light as it split the Top Head of The Monster Plant right down the middle exposing the Crystal inside its mouth, while at the same launched sharp spikes towards him
Link then stood up Bow and Light arrow in hand as Yuno quickly summoned a Gust of Wind to propel Link up high into the sky, Link then carefully Aimed as he saw the exposed Malice Crystal and with a deep breath, he shot the Arrow, Everything went quiet for Link as he kept his eye focused on the arrow hoping it will make its mark, as small vines swaying around and it, but he smiled as the Arrow hit the Crystal and then the Arrow dispersed in an explosion of light, shattering the crystal
as soon as it did the Monsters body and the multiple vines that sprouted around the whole area stood completely still as it started to crumble and shrivel up it wasn't long until the giant body collapsed to the ground with a loud thud.
"Everyone just stood there breathing a heavy sigh of relief that The beast was finally dead
"Is it truly dead now?" Noelle said
Asta then poked at the slowly disintegrating head of The Monster
"Yeah I think it is" Asta said
"Good" Impa said as she deactivated her Magic along with Meta Knight, Luck and Kirby did as well
Asta then tried to walk toward everybody but he then suddenly felt fatigued as his vision became blurry and then collapsed to the ground
"ASTA!" Everyone screamed as they all ran towards him as they got a closer look at him.
Mimosa quickly went to him as she summoned her healing magic
"is he alright?" Noelle said
"Hes badly hurt and exhausted we need to get him out of here" Mimosa said
Then suddenly the whole Dungeon then started to rumble as if it was being hit by an Earthquake
"Yeah I think its time to say bye to this Place" Starlow said
"Wa..Wait, we need to save that other guy?" Asta said weakly pointing towards the vault
"Why, hes the enemy, he tried to kill us!" Klaus said
"We came...to Capture...the Dungeon.. not..to kill enemies" Asta said
"But.." Klaus said
I'll get him" Impa said as she quickly ran into the entrance of the Vault but when she did and looked she noticed that the unconscious man has disappeared
"He's not here, hes gone" Impa said
"Gone?" Asta said
suddenly a huge part of the dungeon collapsed near them
"we don't have time for this, If we don't leave now were going to die!" Klaus yelled
Everyone then quickly gathered together as Yuno quickly summoned a large Wind Platform to pick everyone up as they quickly zoomed out of the room.
As the Dungeon started to collapse around them debris falling dangerously falling near them Yuno was thinking quickly as to where the exit is
"Which way is the Exit?" Yuno said
Luck then looked onward as he concentrated and saw the Trace remains of his lightning Magic.
Go right!" Luck yelled
Yuno quickly did they zoomed into another area of the dungeon.
"Through that way" Luck said as he pointed
Are you sure you know where your going?" Yuno said
"Trust me" Luck said
after constant dodging from debris and using what little they had left to destroy any that were in there way they saw light in the distance.
I think I see the Exit" Starlow said excitingly
all of them then looked and noticed the dungeon was coming close to crush all of them
"We need to go faster!" Mimosa screamed
but it got even worse as now as a huge piece of debris started to fall in front of them
both Klaus and Luck fired both there respected attacks but it wasn't enough to break all the way through
everyone started to panic but then Starlow then quickly went in front of them
As Starlow glowed bright and with the rest of her strength launched a Purple Beam towards the fallen debris as it shattered to pieces allowing them to zip right out of the exit as the entrance collapsed behind them.
(Outside of the Dungeon)
"We...We made it" Noelle said
"Yeah...we did" Mimosa said
"I will admit I did not expect for us to survive, but I am glad that it worked in our favor in the end" Meta knight said
Impa then went to check on Zelda and Link
"Are you two alright" Impa said concerningly
I'm fine" Link said
"That was close" Zelda said
Poyo" Kirby said in a concerned tone getting everyone's attention as he looked at Starlow on the ground unresponsive and her entire body color turned into a pale grey
"Oh no is she okay?" Zelda said
Meta Knight then quickly went to her side
"She exhausted all of her energy, she pushed herself to hard" Meta Knight said
Impa then walked towards Meta Knight as she handed him a small bottle of red Liquid
"Give her this, there only a few drops of it left but it should be enough to get her back up" Impa said
Meta Knight then took the bottle he opened the cork of it and then gently put into Starlows mouth, and then after a few seconds, Starlows color then started to comeback.
She then slightly opened her eyes
"Is everyone alright" Starlow said weakly
"Do not worry, we are all alive" Meta Knight said
"...Good" Starlow said softly as she closed her eyes again
"She just needs some rest" Meta Knight said
"Thank Hylia" Zelda said breathing a sigh of relief
Link, Zelda and Impa then looked and noticed Klaus was then walked towards them.
"Are your Companions alright?" Impa said
"They are fine, I came here to extend my thanks to you all, Although it pains me to admit that if it weren't for your interference, we probably would be dead," Klaus said
"There's no need to thank us, we just did what we thought was right" Zelda said
Pardon my interruption, but would you happen to know where we can stay to recuperate for a bit" Meta Knight said
"THATS NO PROBLEM YOU CAN COME WITH U...EEERR" Asta said as he slowly got up and then sat back down due to exhaustion
"DON"T PUSH YOURSELF ASTA, YOUR HURT VERY BADLY!" Mimosa screamed
As the group was talking
out in the distance Lotus along with his companions were gathering all the treasure they got from the vault with a still unconscious Mars laying beside him.
(In the Outskirts)
A lone figure wearing a Blue Hoodie was looking out in the distance
"I hope you all are safe, I'll be sure to find you soon" The figure said
He then looked down to his hand as he was holding a glowing yellow piece in his hand.
