Chapter: Six
Sirius POV
" What can Winky do yous? " Winky asked with her normal hop and big smile
" Mia here was getting hungry and I was really hoping you wouldn't mind getting the little lady a snack since dinner's not for another three hours?! " I asked Winky while bouncing Hermione up and down making her laugh and I couldn't help but smile at the sound
" Of course of course... Whats would the Little Miss like to eats? " Winky asked with a big smile and she was hopping making her big ears bounce along with her
" Ummm... Can I have a banana muffin please Winky? " Hermione shyly asks while looking down and playing with her little fingers
" Of course you cans " Winky happily said before running off to get Hermione her Banana Muffin and I walked over to the little table that was near the fire place and I sat her in one of the chairs
" Will you be okay here... I need to ask one of the house elves for something? " I gently ask hoping she will be okay on her own for a little bit so I can go over and ask some of the house elves if they can help us with this prank we're planning
" I be okay "
" If you need me for anything just yell for me " I say and when I saw Hermione nod her little head letting me know she understands I'll always come when she calls me, and right before I went over to where everyone else was standing I bent down a little and placed a soft kiss on top of her little head; As I got over to where Moony, Prongs and Wormtail are all standing I can hear them all begging the house elves for their assistance on our newest prank and they were shaking there heads saying they cant help us just like every other time we asked for their help.
" We's can't helps yous " Ronky says while he was pulling his long ears
" But this time is different! " Prongs whined
" Hows? " Ronky asks with some tears forming in his eyes while looking directly at Prongs
" Because this prank isn't for us this time... We were hoping this would lift Hermione's spirits up a bit cause you know after everything she was forced to deal with I just want hear her laugh and not just those small laughs she does... But that big joyful laugh she has that's always contagious and to see her smile again and not just that small smile that I've been seeing lately but " I take a deep breath and looked over to where Hermione is eating her muffin and I looked back at Ronky " But... I want to see that joyful smile I used to always see so... Can you help us just this once... Please? " I softly say so I don't upset Ronky anymore then he already is
" Ands what is pranks Mr. Siri? " Winky asks as she comes over with her hands on her hips
" Its just a simple prank... I promise! " I explain as softly as I could before we started to go into a further explanation of what the prank is and what it does also how long the effects of the prank will last for. So when some of the house elves walked a little away from us whispering while some were looking over to where Hermione was sitting still eating her muffin. I couldn't help but hope that this was a good sign into them really considering into helping us accomplish this prank so we can get everyone in the great hall in one go instead of just the few we could get to. After a couple of minutes of waiting and hoping they all come walking back over to where we are all standing
" ... We wills helps you just this once... For the Little Miss! " Winky said while nodding her head making her big ears flop with her head and when I looked over at Prongs he had the biggest smile on his face, and I couldn't help but feel just as excited about this like he is and I also know everyone else is just as excited
" Thank you for doing this Winky... I know this will help Mia a lot... I hope " I happily say while mumbling the last part to myself
" Dids yous needs anything else? " Winky says while all the other house elves went back to what they doing before we came in
" Nothing for me but thank you Winky... I'm just going to check on Mia while you guys get what ever want " I say before walking over to where Hermione is still sitting eating the last of her muffin and once she was finished eating I picked her up and on our way out of the kitchens
" Bye bye " Hermione happily said while waving to everyone with a really big smile
" Byes byes Little Miss " Almost all the house elves said with a little wave of their own and that put a big smile on Hermione's little face and made her giggle
" Bye bye Hermione " Moony and Prongs say with a wave of their own while Wormtail just slightly waved at her and just then Hermione's smile just so much bigger
" Where we going Siri? " Hermione asks when we got a little further down the hall way
" We can go out side and get some fresh air before dinner... Would you like that? " I say/ ask while bouncing Hermione up and down a little
" I would like to play in the grass Siri... Oh... Oh... Siri can we also play tag please? " Hermione happily said with a big smile and I couldn't help but lightly laugh at how excited she sounds
" Yes we can play tag my Little Mia " I say with a small smile
" yayyy " Hermione squealed with so much joy that I couldn't help but get just as excited as her; When we were finally able to get outside and I walked a little away from the castle so Hermione doesn't accidentally hurt herself and I was finally able to put the over excited four year old down. The second Hermione touched the ground she started running around while giggling and this made me really happy seeing her act her age especially after everything that's happened to her.
" Siri... Siri can we play tag now? " Hermione asked as she ran up to me and started tugging on my pants with the biggest smile on her little face
" Who should go first? " I asked looking down at her happy face with a small smile of my own
" Me me I can go first... Dat means you run first "
" Okay... We start " I start saying while walking a little away from Hermione and she started clapping her little hands and giggling " Now " I slightly yelled and started running away from Hermione just fast enough for it to be a challenge but not slow enough for her to catch me right away and that only worked for a couple of minutes before Hermione started to get sad because she wasn't fast enough to catch me right away. I then started to slow down a little bit so she can catch up to me and after another couple of minutes I felt Hermione run into me and she held onto my pant leg so she didn't fall down
" Tag you it " Hermione happily squealed and then she stepped away from and started doing her little happy dance
" Yes you did... Now its my turn to catch you " I say and then Hermione started running away from me while giggling and I did the same thing I did before by not running so fast.
Three Hours Later
" HERMIONE " I yelled over to where Hermione is running around in circles and when she turned towards me with a big smile letting me know she heard me " We should get inside dinner is gonna start soon " I add while walking half way over to where Hermione is standing and I was happy when she ran the rest of the way over to me. When she got close enough I scooped her up in my arms making her giggle and her little laugh always makes me smile
" What we gonna eat Siri? " Hermione asks as she leans her head on my shoulder
" I don't know yet but I know its gonna be really good! " I gently say as I make my way up to the castle
" I hope there's strawberry pudding " Hermione mumbled
" I hope so too "
