What's up, everyone! This is GKC here bringing you the next chapter of the Fate SI story.

Now let's get this party started… BEGIN!
Chapter 2: An Abnormal Meeting
"I ask you, are you my Master?"
That one phrase repeatedly impacted my skull as I stared into the visage of the woman in front of me. I knew she was a woman not only by her voice but also by her…well, appearance.
To clarify, she had long white hair that reached all the way down to her shapely buttocks, green-yellow eyes that seemed almost cat-like, and stitched-up scars on her lovely face. Her hourglass figure could attract even a saint, especially with her *cough* rather large assets. Even her legs had a bit of mature thickness to them. She dons a black vest, black panties and black stockings with pink shoes. Both her arms are bandaged but only her left hand wears a glove. She has a purple oval-shaped 'O' on each of her shoulders. At the small of her back she carries a number of sheathes that hold her knives.
I knew this woman. Or rather, I knew her true appearance from another source material in the Fate series.
The Assassin-class Servant, Jack the Ripper.
When I offered no answer, her feline eyes landed on the blood red tattoo imprinted on the back of my left hand. "You have the Seals." She then focused her gaze into my eyes, almost staring deeply into my soul. "I am Servant Assassin. I will protect you and fight for you in this Holy Grail War, my Master."
"So you summoned a Servant," I heard the voice of Rider from behind, forcing me and my newly summoned Assassin to face her. "This changes things." She brought up her chain daggers in preparation for a fight.
Normally, I might have a chance in beating Rider if I summoned any other Servant because of her terrible stats since she was under the control of Shinji but I summoned Assassin. I'm a little cautious since Jack the Ripper didn't really have good stats, save for Agility, but-
"Oh? You wish to die, Rider?" Assassin seemed to purr with delight as she pulled out two intricate knives that bore no name but were eager to spill blood. "I'll gladly cut you open and rip your guts out."
…
Okay, that was way different from the Jack that I remember. She sounded innocent and mature, but notably crueler.
Both Rider and Assassin stared each other down like caged predators. Neither of them made a move but the tense atmosphere forced me to gulp down the small bit of moisture in my throat.
The moment I blinked, both Servants became blurs as they collided with one another. Sparks flew as both women clashed their respective daggers with one another. Normally, Rider would've had the advantage with her Monstrous Strength skill but since she hardly has a proper Master supporting her with Prana, she's not exactly at her strongest. I dare say she's easily the weakest Servant in the 5th Fuyuki Holy Grail War if she remained under Shinji's control. Meanwhile, my Assassin, if I remember correctly, had some decent stats save for her Luck but this version of Jack the Ripper was entirely different so I wasn't sure if the Canon stats I remembered seeing were the same.
Dammit, if only I knew how to look up Assassin's stats then I could see if any of her stats or Skills are different.
So far, Rider seemed to be on the defensive. Assassin was giving her no room to make an effort to attack. A few times, she had to use her nimble figure to avoid Jack's dagger from slicing her throat open or striking her heart. It almost didn't seem like a fight to the death. In a weird and strange way, it looked more like an exotic dance.
Didn't help that their boobs would bounce with each movement. Damn you, strangely sexy fighting!
The fight lasted for all of two minutes before Rider leapt away with a few scratches on her body while Assassin barely had any. The blindfolded Servant disappeared into motes of purple light as she fled.
A breath that I had unknowingly held was released. "Thank God for small miracles…" I said to myself.
"Master," Assassin said as she approached me, swaying her hips in a way that nearly sparked a reaction from my body.
"Uh… yes?" I managed to say.
"Are you alright?" She asked.
"I mean, I'm not dead. So…yes?" I replied, a bit cautious with the Legendary Serial Killer.
"That's good." Assassin smiled, before she did something unexpected. In the form of her hugging me…with her big boobs pressed onto me. Oh~ Buddha, give me strength!
"A-Assassin, what are you-" I panicked while my face burned hot. I never expected her to be so forward.
"I'm glad Master isn't hurt!" Her sultry tone took on an innocent child-like octave.
"H-Huh?" I said, confused. Seriously, what the hell is going on?
She pulled away from the hug and gave me the most adorable smile ever. "Jack would never forgive herself if her darling perished."
…
…
…
What?
"I'm sorry? Darling?" I blinked.
"Hm? Yes, you're my darling aren't you?" Assassin tilted her head cutely.
"Uh, I have…no response to that. At all." Truthfully, I expected a different reaction. A possible murderous tendency to cut open prostitutes, sure. But not…'darling'.
"Ehe!" Assassin giggled. "You're funny, Master."
Am I really?
I sighed, "Whatever. Come on, Assassin. We're going back to my apartment." Maybe if I sleep this off, I'll only be dreaming.
Nope… I'm not dreaming at all. This is real. How real, you ask? Look no further than Jack cuddling with me in bed.
Did I forget to mention she was naked? I did? Oh, well, in that case…
"AAAHHHHHH!" I released a "manly" scream before promptly falling out of my bed.
Don't judge me! How would you feel if you suddenly woke up to a sexy, naked woman!?
"Mmmmmmm… Master, why so loud?" Jack groaned, slowly getting up and rubbing her eyes. It didn't help the fact that when she stretched herself out to loosen up, her legs were spread wide open too, revealing her… holy place.
Don't get an erection. Don't get an erection. Don't get a- FUCK!
"Assassin, why are you naked in my bed?!" I questioned.
The grown-up version of Jack gave me a cute tilt of her head. "Because I couldn't find a nightdress for me to wear and I didn't want to sleep in my clothes."
Don't say that with such a moe-like face!
"Uh…"
"Master… what's that bump between your legs?"
NOOOOOO!
"I'm heading to the bathroom and you better 0put some clothes on!" I quickly said, running towards the restroom, closing the door, and locking it.
Dammit, now I have a massive hard-on…
Well, I'm already in the bathroom. Maybe a cold shower will help…
…who am I kidding, knowing Jack, she'd probably do something that rates as an ecchi moment.
So… ughhhhhh… might as well take care of it myself…
I shuddered as I was walking on my way to school. I feel so dirty and ashamed right now.
"Master, where are we going?" Assassin asked me through the mental link we shared as Master and Servant.
"School. I still have appearances to make." That, and to see if I can pay back that little shit, Shinji.
"You don't look like you want to."
"No, I don't. But I have no other choice." I said. I already graduated from high school anyways, so what's the point of me going through with it anyway, besides the obvious? Not like it matters whether I pass or fail.
When I passed through the school gate, I felt the same oppressive aura that threatened to suffocate me.
"Master?"
"I'm alright," I lied. "It's a Bounded Field. One most likely focused on draining energy from anyone that is inside once activated."
"Good morning, Holmes-senpai."
Ahhhh~ it's sweet Sakura-chan~! I turned around to face the girl only to pause when I noticed her favoring her right leg a bit. "Are you okay, Matou-san?" I asked.
"U-Unn…" Sakura nodded.
"What happened to your leg?" I questioned.
"I-I just fell down the steps. It's nothing serious. Don't worry." Sakura tried to assure me. But I knew that was a lie.
"Sakura…did Shinji do something to you?" I asked again. This time I saw her flinch while looking away.
That fucking bastard! I'LL KILL HIM!
"Sakura… where is your brother?" I muttered.
"Wait, don't-"
"Sakura… your brother abused you…" I said. "He doesn't care about you."
"Onii-sama is just-"
"Don't try to defend him." I interjected with a firm glare. "He and I have unfinished business anyways."
"Holmes-san-"
"Sakura. Please." I said firmly, once more. "You're a sweet girl. And I can't stand it when sweet girls like you get stomped all over like some punching bag for no reason. I can't accept that. Especially since you're the first friend I've ever made around here."
Sakura's cheeks took on a healthy shade of red as she fiddled with the hem of her school skirt.
"I… I…" Sakura got out. "He… vented his anger out on me…"
"About what and how?" I .
"I…" She paused, her eyes focusing on my left hand.
"I see." I said calmly but inwardly, I knew what she actually meant.
She knew I was a Master.
"Where would he usually go?" I asked the plum-haired girl, who seemed to fidget nervously out of either fear or instinct.
"The… The Archery Club." Sakura told me with some hesitancy.
"Thank you." I nodded and gave her a pat on the head, much to her embarrassment and- Is she leaning into it?
My god, she is so precious. Oh, bless her heart…
"I'll go have a little…chat with him, and after that, we'll eat lunch together. Sounds good?" I asked, to which Sakura blushed again and nodded. "Good, then it's a date." I teased.
"D-d-d-date!?" She squeaked in the cutest way possible. Then she slowly turned into a stuttering mess.
Oh, I seem to have broken her.
"Master…who is this girl?" Assassin asked me in a rather…disturbing tone.
"A friend." I mentally replied.
"Seems like more than a friend." My Servant said and I suddenly had a great fear for my life.
"She's just a friend. I just met her yesterday."
I didn't know why but I could feel Assassin pout and if I strained my hearing enough, I could make out a few words like "...I wanted head pats too…"
Is…is she jealous? That is…actually both endearing and adorable.
"Look, I'll give you headpats after we mess with Shinji, okay?"
"You better, Master. I deserve head pats just as much as that little girl." Assassin replied childishly before cutting the connection.
Geez, never thought Jack would be a tsundere either…
"I heard that,"
Wha- how?! How?!
"You tend to voice your thoughts aloud."
…
…
…fuck.
Finding the Archery Club proved rather easy. Just ask a random female student, put on the American charm (ignore the stuttering and blushing face), and move on. By the time I arrived, I found the little shithead eyeing the girls that were practicing. The guy practically had a perverted grin plastered all over his face.
"Hey, Shitji!" I shouted, getting not only his attention but the Archery club members too.
"Huh? Who- ah dammit!" The seaweed haired boy cringed, upon seeing me.
"I got a bone to pick with you!" I pointed at the little prick.
"What do you want, gaijin?" Shinji said, giving me a venomous glare.
"You know why I'm here." I told him.
"No, I don't-"
*WHAM!*
Next thing he knew, I rushed and punched the guy square in the face, sending him flying a bit.
"Wrong answer, asshole!" I spat, cracking my knuckles before glancing at the club members. "Ladies, I think you should hit the showers while I have a chat with Shinji here."
The girl didn't think twice as they quickly left.
"You fucking gaijin…!" Shinji growled, staggering to his feet while holding his sore cheek.
"I told you before. You mess with your sister again, I'll make sure you never existed in the first place." I spat before smirking. "So, you decided to send Rider after me, eh?"
"The hell are you-" He stopped when he saw my Command Seals. "The fuck?! I didn't hear about this!"
I raised a brow. What the hell is he talking about? Rider would've told Shinji that I was a Master after- Oh, that explains it. She still doesn't like him and withheld the truth. That sneaking, sexy snake. Rider did this out of her own volition.
If I can somehow have Rider change Masters, then it changes everything. But then again, I don't want to put Sakura in danger.
I wonder if I could contract two Servants?
"Well, no use in hiding it. Yep, I'm a Master. I should really thank you for that, Shinji. You helped me gain a Servant." I said with a wicked grin.
"The fuck are you talking about?! I didn't do shit!"
"Exactly. You didn't. Your Servant did that out of her own volition." I said.
Shinji flinched. "She what!?"
"Here's what's going to happen. I'm going to have to ask you to give me that grimoire of yours. Otherwise, I'll have my Assassin cut you open." I told him.
"W-What?!"
"You heard me. Your False Book of Attendance. Hand it over. Now." I demanded.
"W-Why should I-" He paused when he felt something sharp against his throat.
"Maybe you didn't hear me. Give me the book or you fucking die. Then again, I'm more merciful than that worm fuck that you call a grandfather. He'll probably have you go through the same shit Sakura went through ten years ago."
Shinji squealed in fear as he reached into his school jacket and pulled out the book I was looking for.
"Assassin, be a dear and take the book." I told my Servant.
The white-haired girl had no problem swiping it from him and handed it to me.
"Good girl." I smiled, patting her head, which she seemed to like a lot. I then turned to Shinji with a hateful glare. "Now get out of here."
The seaweed-haired punk gritted his teeth in anger as he glared venomously at me before running away. "This isn't over, gaijin! I'll get you back for this!"
Hmph, coward. He says that yet he couldn't have used his head? Whatever, I have Rider now and one less annoyance to deal with.
"Alright, now to get back to class and after that, my lunch date with Sakura-chan." I grinned.
"Hmmmm!" I froze when I felt Jack's killing intent. I think I heard several knives being pulled out.
"Uh…"
"Master is mine and mine alone…" Jack huffed.
"Jackie, let's not get all murderous now." I nervously chuckled.
"Mine!"
"Jackie, you have to learn how to share." I said. "Besides, Sakura-chan's a sweet girl. She's been through a lot. In a way, she's kinda like you."
"Huh?"
"She's kinda like you. She isn't loved by anyone and is always alone. She wants to look for the love she needs. Like you, wanting to find a mother, right?"
Assassin looked at me in surprise, "A… mother…?" She looked down at her hands, which were… trembling?
"Assassin?" The concern that filled my voice was paramount to my growing negligence. "Did I… say something wrong?"
"I…I'm myself…I-" Assassin suddenly grasped her head, looking visibly pained. "No! I don't…I don't need a mother!"
"Assassin!" I called out to her, grabbing her by her shoulders. "Jackie, look at me, look at me! It's okay! I'm here… I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say that. Really!"
"Master?" It seemed whatever was causing her to stress out might have only been temporary. However, that little episode concerned me. Was it part of her past or an alteration of it? Now that I think about it, she never referred to herself as 'we' like her child self.
…why is that?
"You okay?" I asked. Jack slowly nodded. "Okay, just making sure. Sorry about that." I apologized.
"Unn," Jack nodded in response. "Master…"
"Yeah?" I said, staring into her green-yellow eyes that seemed to hypnotize me.
She fiddled with her fingers and had a small tinge of pink on her cheeks. "...could I…come to your lunch date too?"
…
Say what now?
Okay… so it's a good thing that we decided to have lunch on the school rooftop. There's literally no one around and it was the perfect spot to have it.
"Darling, say ahh~!" Jack said while dressed in a liberated school girl uniform from the girls' locker room. She had a pair of chopsticks that held a small sausage shaped like an octopus.
"Ahhh~" I said, and placed the sausage in her Master's mouth.
"Um…" Sakura said, while fidgeting.
"Hm? What's wrong?" I asked.
"Senpai…who is this?" Sakura asked.
I flinched. 'Shit, I didn't think that far ahead.' I screamed in my thoughts. "Uh, this is…Jackie. She's my cousin. Visiting from Europe." Hopefully, that lie is believable.
"Hi! Nice to meet you!" Jackie waved cheerfully.
"Um…same to you." Sakura said.
'Yes! It worked!' I cheered mentally while glancing at my school bag which held the False Book within. "By the way, Sakura. I had a chat with Shinji. He won't be giving you trouble anymore."
"He won't?"
"Yeah. I told him off. Though I don't think you should go home, with him still around." I said. "Do you…wanna live with me?"
No wait, hold on! What am I saying?! That's too early! Dammit, why did I say that?!
"Ah, what I mean is, do you have somewhere and someone you trust that you can live with?" I corrected myself. I know she has Shirou to help her. Rin too, if possible but she won't really do anything because of Mage rules or some shit like that.
"I…honestly do not. Though, I suppose Taiga-sensei could help." Sakura pondered.
Wait, what. Has she not been going to Shirou's place whenever she can? "Are you sure? There's no one else?" I asked again.
"No…" Sakura shook her head.
What the hell…? What's going on?
Okay, hold on. Back it up. Where did I actually fuck up?
I stopped Shinji, I took Rider, I entered the school, summoned Assassin, met Shirou-
Wait…did she even meet Shirou? Or rather, does she even know about him?
Ohhhhhhhhhh shiiiiiiiiiiiiit…
Did Shirou actually take my advice? Did I just take Shirou's place?
Is he even alive!?
Last night…did he not summon Saber?!
Is he dead?! Did Lancer kill him!?
Fuck! Too many scenarios! I can't think properly! Maybe I should check his place, see if he actually did get attacked by Lancer or not.
Now that I think about it…I haven't seen or met Rin Tohsaka yet.
Dammit!
"Senpai? Is something wrong?" Sakura asked worriedly.
"Apparently so," I replied with a grimace. I stood up from my seat. "Sorry, Sakura-chan. I just remembered I have an errand to run."
"Eh? What do you mean?" Sakura asked, sounding disheartened that I was leaving.
"Sorry, I don't really have time to explain right now. I just need to finish this. We'll put our date on hold for now." I assured her. My gaze landed on my disguised Servant. "Time to go, Jackie."
"Okay," Assassin said rather cheerfully, hopping up to her feet and skipping after me. Though each step kinda caused her breasts to bounce a bit and-
Goddammit! This is not the time for that! I needed to know if Shirou or Tohsaka were still present in this scenario. Otherwise, my knowledge won't mean shit.
So, the good news is that Shirou isn't dead…
…Bad news, he has a certain guest.
"Shirou, who is this person?"
Yeah, it's Saber… which means Shirou had become a Master. Goddammit…
"Oh, this is Holmes-san," Shirou said as he placed down a bowl of rice in front of the genderbent King of Knights. "He's a transfer student from school."
"I see," Saber nodded as she took her bowl and diligently started eating. "And the other one?"
Ah, she is referring to Assassin…who is still disguised as a school girl. Quick, brain! Come up with an excuse!
"She's my cousin. Visiting from Europe." I answered.
Good job, brain!
"Hiya!" Jack grinned widely.
"Hm." Saber narrowed her eyes at the both of us as if she were suspicious of us, but shrugged it off as she ate her bowl.
"So, Holmes-san, did you need something?" Shirou asked.
"Ah… not… really. But I just wanted to check on ya cause of the whole murder stuff and all that. I heard rumors that another student got killed."
Shirou frowned, "I heard. A first year, I believe."
"Thankfully, it wasn't Sakura-chan," I remarked. "Speaking of whom, has she been to your house at all?"
"Sakura? Hmmmm… no, I don't think so. Why do you ask?"
…Oh fuck.
"N-No reason. She just seemed lonely and I figured you might have been one of those that would help her with that." I replied with a sheepish grin.
"Did something happen?"
"Shinji being an asshole to her, that's what…" I muttered darkly. "You don't mind if she stays with you for a bit, do ya?"
"Oh, not at all. I'd be happy to. But wouldn't she be happy at home?" Shirou pondered.
"Uh, let's just say that she didn't have a good week at home. I'd offer but my apartment isn't big enough." I reasoned.
"I see. In that case, I'd be glad to take her in." Shirou nodded.
"Good… just keep her safe. That's all I ask." I said.
"I will. After all, what kind of Hero of Justice would I be if I didn't help those in need?"
God, I hate how cliche that is…
"Right… Well, I'll be on my way." I said, before looking at Saber. "Nice meeting ya, I guess."
"Likewise." Saber nodded back. And with that, Jackie and I left the Emiya residence. Once we got a good mile away from it, I released a breath.
Haaaaaaaaaaa… Dammit, there goes my chance with Sakura-chan… I practically gave her away to Shirou. Wait, why am I upset? I already have two hot, sexy babes under my command. But then again, she's still precious. My heart is telling me that I can't leave her with Shirou yet I'm still unsure of what Route I'm currently progressing in this world. Well, as long as Shinji doesn't die by her hands then I might avoid the Dark Sakura encounter.
That, above all else, I can't afford to let happen.
Well, I've confirmed that Shirou is alive and well…but what about the Twin-tailed Tsundere known as Rin Tohsaka?
That's when it was decided that I should at least check out her residence.
Jackie and I made our way out from the Emiya residence and walked throughout Fuyuki, to reach the Tohsaka Residence. It shouldn't be that hard to find, after all, it's a big ass mansion and her old man used to own it before being done in the 4th war.
It wouldn't be for another hour until I saw the Tohsaka residence in the distance.
"Ho~? Well isn't this strange."
Oh no… no, no, no, no, no. Not this motherfucker. Please~ tell me it's not- fuuuuuck…
Standing at the entrance of the Tohsaka manor was a middle-aged man who had long brown hair that reached his neck, soulless black eyes, and an annoying ass grin on his face. Dressed in the garbs of a head priest from church, you'd never think that this dude could harm a fly. But I knew better. Underneath those clothes is a guy built like a brick shithouse with enough skill in martial arts to turn my whole body into a powder keg. Not to mention he's a mapo tofu fanatic. I like spicy food, but that crap is made for the Devil.
"Is there a problem, Father?" I inquired, greeting the priest with a fake smile and barely contained contempt.
"Not at all, my son." Kirei Kotomine replied with his damnable smile still present. "I'm simply returning from meeting with my ward."
He must mean Rin. So she's still alive then. That's good…I think.
"But I don't believe I've met you before…unknown Master." Kotomine commented, making my blood run cold.
"I assume you noticed my Seals then." I remarked, trying to keep my features neutral. I cursed myself for not bothering to cover my hand. Luckily, neither Saber nor Shirou noticed my Command Mantras. Otherwise, I'd be dead.
"Indeed. Tell me, why did you not come to the Church?" The Fake Priest inquired.
"Well, not as if I wanted to join the Grail War." I replied. "But I had the misfortune of encountering a Servant trying to kill me."
"Is that so…how strange," Kotomine pondered.
"They tried to kill me willingly without their orders from their Master and the only ones who could do that are those of the Archer class." I remarked, hinting at what I believed.
"Oh? But Archers are one of the three Knight Class Servants. What reason would Archer have in killing you?"
"Improper Master. Lack of magical energy. Many reasons." I stated. "But I'm not interested in old news."
"Indeed. I should be asking if you are willing to forgo your Command Seals if you have no interest in joining the Grail War." Kotomine remarked.
And give you another Servant to wield at your leisure? Hell to the fuck no. "Unfortunately, I now have an interest in the Grail. So I'll be joining this War."
The damnable priest smirked, "Rejoice, young Master, for your Wish will be granted."
Whoop-de-fucking doo…
"Thanks for the welcome." I rolled my eyes.
"Then I bid you farewell, young man. I hope you survive." The Priest said before marching right past me. But just as he left, he whispered, "Otherwise, all my plans will be ruined."
My eyes widened to the size of dinner plates as I glanced at the retreating back of Kirei Kotomine. For five minutes, I waited until the man disappeared from my view, then I released a breath that I had no idea I was holding.
Jesus… Now I know why Kiritsugu was terrified of this bastard. Just his mere presence had sent every single hair on my body to stand straight.
Assassin, who had been in her spiritual form, decided to speak to me, "Master, are you okay? I can hear your heart beating erratically."
"Just had myself a run-in with a terrible omen. One that I'm not eager to face…" I said to my Servant after getting over that abnormal meeting. "Let's go home. I've got a new Servant to discuss terms with."
"Are you sure, Master? Do you even need that-"
I interjected the Legendary Serial Killer, "I understand your concerns, Assassin. But, no offense, you're not exactly meant for one-on-one combat. You're meant to kill Masters. Having Rider on our side gives us an edge against our enemies." I pointed out.
I could feel her pout, "But I'm supposed to help you, Master. How can I do that if you give your attention to that skank?"
"Don't worry, Jackie," I assured her. "Even though Rider will be my frontline fighter, you'll always be my first and most trusted Servant." From the pulse of happiness I could feel from her, I'd say that Assassin was quite happy with my words.
Yep, when in doubt, follow your old man's advice: "Happy wife, happy life."
Though she's not exactly a romantic partner (at least, not yet, I suppose), the principle is still basically the same thing.
In the meantime, it's about time I prepare for tonight. I've got some scouting to do.
A/N: And that's the end of the chapter. Shorter than I would've liked but this is a different route entirely. It's not even Fate, UBW, or Heaven's Feel. You'll see what I mean in later chapters. Not a lot of action in this one. I tried to make the fight seem interesting but…lack of internet kinda killed my mood that time. But don't worry, I'll make the battles more interesting.
Anyways, I read the recent reviews about the SI Apocrypha idea. So, I won't do a separate story about that. It would only divert time away from this story. So by the end of the Fate/stay night route, we'll see where it might go.
Speaking of reviews, here are some that I'll answer.
Kentaro Mahara: The Servant is probably an Assassin-class with how this self-insert is facing a Rider-class Servant, but you could change things by not adding the FGO mechanics and doing stuff like the anime/manga/visual novel fights.
It would be funny if you summoned a Servant that would strip you of your masculinity and do the role reversal of letting you know that they're the Master while you're the Servant that doesn't have to fight and has to remind you of your place each time you get rebellious. Lmao
Response: Yeah, I ain't doing that. Role reversal is not my style. Keep that line of thought to yourself, please.
ZaydenBlaze47: Please, not an apocrypha
Response: I make no promises.
Anyways, I'm debating if I wanna add any adult scenes or not. But I probably will. Not sure yet. We'll see…if I can get away from Elden Ring.
Review and comment on this chapter. Love it, hate it, but just know that you've read it. XD
Peace out, everyone!
