Living up to Family.

A Surprise Good and Bad.

Harry was the first to make use of the tomes and the restoration draught. With the tomes expanding his mind, he was able to quickly master Occlumency and Leglimency. This helped in his muggle studies as he quickly learned everything he need to pass his GCE, A, and O levels. Though he was never as good as Hermione he was still in top of his grouping. The restorative draught did more for him mood wise than the tomes. After years of abuse of the Dursleys and the years of "adventures" at Hogwarts he stood at an even 6 ft 2 inches. He now had the body of a swimmer, his hair now a bit more tame though still wild in a sense. He also finally discovered muggle hair care products that helped. He now kept his hair in slicked back with a high faded taper. Harry was definitely turning heads as he moved to Boston to attend Harvard University as a pre-med student.

The restorative draught also did wonders for Hermione and Ron. Both of whom shed the scars of the Blood Wars and fully coming into their own. Hermione was standing at a 5 ft 9 inches, with a shapely waist and ample bust line that would have turned heads if it wasn't for Ron. All the calories that Ron ate as a child and his love of sports in general gave him a power athletes build. Standing just north of Harry at 6 ft 4 inches. Ron was built like a tank. When he and Hermione visited his family the first time back in the Burrow for the holidays, they could hardly believe it was them.

As Hermione and Harry were attending Harvard, Ron began work as a Auror with MACUSA, eventually being recruited to the Magical Bureau of Investigation where he works as the No-Maj Liaison.

After graduation from Harvard, the trio finally part ways after spending years together. Harry moved onto St Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center where he completed his internship and completed his residency program. During his final year of Residency he won the Harper Avery Award based on his the new trauma protocols for young children. Harry ended up Double Board Certified in Trauma and Pediatric Surgery. He soon left the warmth of Phoenix, Arizona to take up an attending position Penn Presbyterian in Philadelphia. That didn't last long as he soon got a call from Richard Webber trying to recruit him to come to Seattle Grace.

"Dr. Potter-Black this is Richard Webber from Seattle Grace. How are you doing?" said Richard over the phone.

"Dr. Webber, nice to hear from you. I'm doing pretty well, I presume the reason for your unexpected call was to recruit me?"

"Been getting a lot of these calls huh Dr. Potter-Black?"

"You have no idea." Chuckled Harry.

"Look, I will keep this short Dr. Potter-Black. I want you here and I will match any salary you currently have and will throw any resources within in my capabilities towards any projects you wish to pursue."

"That sounds good Dr. Webber, but everyone is promising that. And at this point I'd have to be floored to even considering meeting up," said Harry.

There was a lull in the conversation. " I knew your parents Harry… they were my friends too".

At that, Harry perked up. At this point he thought all friends of his parents had died.

"How do you know about my parents?"

"Come meet me and find out. I believe they bought a manor just outside of the city in the wood, maybe its worth visiting your parents' property."

With that Webber hung up and Harry was left with a bunch of questions and no answers. How was Dr. Richard Webber connected to his parents? Does Webber know about the magical world and the events of Britain? Harry suddenly felt that familiar pull of destiny and fate drawing him to Seattle. And he knew he couldn't just ignore it. Harry put in a request for a week off following the call and started to pack for his trip to Seattle.

Thanks to a portkey provided by Magical Transportation Department of the MACUSA he was there shortly afterwards. Harry began to read the instructions to find where his parents manor is. According to Gringotts it's a sizeable manor with 7 bedrooms, 7 Bathrooms and about 1.71 acres of land. On a slip of paper, the address read "The Potter Seattle Retreat is found on NE Windermere Road". Harry soon made his way NE Windermere road where he spotted the manor slowly appear thru the thicket of trees and bushes. It was one of the older manors in the area as it had a distinct pseudo-Victorian meets Mediterranean Terra Cotta. With a deep breath he stepped past the ward lines as they immediately recognized him as Lord Potter. He could tell immediately that his folks were ready to move into here, as some stuff was unpacked. He walked upstairs to the bedrooms eventually after touring the basement and kitchen. Most of those items never unpacked. To his distinct pleasure he found that the wiring in this house was insulated from magic so electronics could function. Something he was very grateful for. On the tour of the bedrooms, he stumbled upon what he guessed would have been his room and his parents room. However, the next bedroom after the master was what caught him off guard. It was a small nursery for a baby girl. A baby sister that he would never meet, and he kneeled at the crib and cried his eyes dried.
