Frankie...
A distant female voice was heard in the pitch blackness. Frankie felt strange as if she was dreaming, but at the same time, she was not. It was as if she was traveling on a cloud and in the distance, the sounds of the city could be heard, but none of this interfered with her peaceful rest.
Frankie wakes up...
That voice insisted, which caused Frankie to start squeezing her eyelids in annoyance. She was so comfortable, why were they bothering her? She just wanted to keep sleeping, dreaming, and fantasizing. To imagine herself in a string-tied bikini, frolicking on a paradise beach while a handsome guy stood next to her, caring little if she was mint green, or had better abs than most. That these details only served to inspire her companion, who would use her as his muse to write the most romantic poems ever written. All this while they would enjoy the sunset on the beach, with the fine sand seeping through the interdigital spaces of their feet, and finally at night, a bonfire would warm and illuminate them in the darkness while. Finally, they would cuddle and share their innermost thoughts, their fears, joys, and dreams, all while finding comfort in each other's arms.
That was a good fantasy. It was a pity that the annoying voice attacked again.
Wake up at once!
The young Frankenstein's monster began to open her eyes slowly. Her vision was blurry and she could barely make out the silhouettes around her. Her hearing was also impaired, so she could only hear a constant humming sound, accompanied by the muffled noise of the city in the background.
Are you opening your eyes or is it just rigor mortis?
In front of Frankie's eyes, a chattering, annoying silhouette that kept her awake at night began to take shape. Wolf ears accompanied by wavy auburn hair, a feminine face with a snub nose, and looking at her with beautiful yellow eyes like lanterns.
Clawdeen stood in front of her and looked at her with a mixture of concern and curiosity.
"Clawdeen?" Frankie realized she was lying on her friend's lap, she was using her thighs to cradle her head, in the background she could hear a song she didn't recognize being sung by a girl.
Slowly, she began to sit up, her werewolf friend helping her in this. Sudden dizziness hit her and for some reason, she felt as if she was not in a fixed place.
"What happened?" she asked puzzled. She lowered one of her hands to find a foothold, her fingers made contact with a smooth, slightly rough surface, but the current dizziness prevented her from analyzing the sensation in detail.
"You gave us quite a scare." Replied the wolf woman. "You fainted at school, Cleo, Draculaura and I are taking you home."
"I fainted?" she repeated what Clawdeen said and then brought a hand to her forehead, her mind still trying to get started, so she could barely think straight. "I had a very strange dream. I dreamt that someone gave me a car, can you believe it?" Frankie looked at her friend, she noticed that the wolf woman had a complicated expression and was avoiding looking at her.
To Frankie that was strange, why would her friend be acting like that? And more importantly why was everything around her black and why did her butt feel so comfortable?
Only at that moment, she noticed that she was sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle, her gaze swept her immediate surroundings, Cleo and Draculaura were in front, the latter being the one who was driving. The girl had her eyes fixed on the road they were traveling on, she could not see her expression since she was behind her. Cleo on the other hand was making use of the mirror that the sun visor on the passenger's side had, the mummy was touching up her makeup and not paying attention to anything else.
The young Frankenstein's monster blinked in confusion, she was sure Draculaura didn't have a car. Her hands rested on the black and green leather seats, the sensation was strange, the feeling was the same as a normal seat, but it felt different as if it was coated with a tiny layer of flexible metal that could not be differentiated from leather.
"You finally wake up." Cleo spoke, snapping her out of her thoughts. The mummy was putting on lip balm and only when she was finished did she turn to look at her. "You gave us quite a scare."
Frankie didn't respond right away. She was still trying to figure out exactly where she was.
"It looks like she's still in shock." Clawdeen added.
The young Frankenstein's monster said nothing, she just observed everything around her in detail. Her eyes roamed the interior of the vehicle, she memorized as best she could every detail, she found it all strange. She knew what cars were like, after all, her parents had two. An SUV that they used to occasionally drive her to school or their college jobs, and a second car that her father customized that they nicknamed "Mutt" a car that perfectly represented the definition of "Tuning" but they rarely used it. But even those two didn't compare to this other car, the vehicle seemed to be very advanced, the person who built it invested a lot of money in modifying it.
"We're in a car?" at last, Frankie spoke up. The young woman was confused by everything that was going on and her friends' lack of emotion meant that they knew something she didn't.
"Looks like her brain isn't quite turned on yet." Cleo commented as she arched an eyebrow. "Frankie, You. Have. A car."
Frankie looked at her friend. She looked at her as if she had just said the dumbest thing ever. Her? A car? Her dad wouldn't even let her have a scooter, she wasn't going to let her have a car. Besides, where would she get a car?
"What?" the Frankenstein girl's mind could not correctly process what she had just heard, so she could only manage to say the first thing she thought of.
Clawdeen held out a folded sheet of paper. Confused at this, Frankie took it and opened it. The first thing she saw were letters written in cursive handwriting, the writer seemed to have some difficulty in taking the pen with which he wrote it since imperfections could be seen when it came to keeping the size and shape of the letters.
To Frankie Stein.
Thank you for helping me. I hope you like my gift. Sincerely, your spatial friend.
At first, Frankie just stared at those words, they were strange to her, not because she didn't understand them, but because she didn't understand what they referred to.
Then her mind managed to work once again and he began to remember. She remembered talking to Clawdeen and Draculaura about a car. Then that car showed up at the school and with a human boy. Then they went to snoop around what was going on. And finally, she remembered hearing Deuce say that a girl named Frankie Stein had received a gift from a "special" friend.
Her name was Frankie Stein. So the gift was for her.
"Oh my goodness. I have a car." Those words came unconsciously from the girl's lips. "I have a car... I have a car!"
The girl's excitement went through the roof. She had a car! It was amazing! She would be able to go out whenever she wanted and she wouldn't need to ask her parents for a ride or her friends to pick her up! She could go anywhere she wanted! To parties! To the Maul! To the beach! She would go to the beach.
Only when the initial excitement wore off did she realize something was wrong and she read the note again until she got to the last part and over and over again repeated the last two words to herself. "Special friend."
She didn't have a special friend, the closest thing to something like that was Hoodude, a monster she created to be her boyfriend, but their current relationship was very awkward and even though she saw him as a friend and creation, she felt absolutely nothing romantic for him.
She then remembered that a picture of that car had been uploaded on the Ghostly Gossip blog and that its driver was a young brown-haired human. Was it possible that the boy was interested in her? How was it possible? she had never met a human before! And she would remember having a special friend.
"You never mentioned having a special friend." Draculaura commented as she drove. "I'm so mad at you Frankie, you could have told me! I would have given you tips on how to have a great first date!"
"Oh please, you? You've barely been with Clawd for a month." Cleo was haughty and proud as she spoke. "Obviously I'm the best choice to talk about romance, my Deuce and I are the perfect match after all."
While the two were engaged in their argument as to who had the better romantic councilor skills, Clawdeen covered her ears so as not to hear them, and Frankie thought about what was going on.
Her eyes once again roamed the interior of the vehicle. She felt strange being in there, it was unreal and almost a fantasy. One of the things a teenager could wish for most was to have her own car and suddenly, she had one. She was excited, but the mysterious origin of the car was making her uncomfortable.
She read the letter once more, noting that she had misread it the first time. It didn't say "special friend" but "spatial friend". This surprised her and gave her an extra clue.
"Upgrade..." whispered the girl as she realized who the mysterious "friend" was who had so kindly gifted her with a new vehicle.
Draculaura slowed down until she reached an intersection, where the traffic light was red, forcing her to stop. She and Cleo continued to talk about what advice they could give Frankie, who was ready to tell them that Upgrade was that "special friend" and not a secret partner.
A second vehicle was parked at that location. It was an orange, high-suspension, all-terrain pickup truck. There were two humans in it, both had an uncanny resemblance, a sign that they were twins. They took their resemblance to the next level, even their outfits were the same.
The twin in the passenger seat noticed the presence of the girls and let his brother know. Both shared a smile of evil complicity and the first one stuck his head out of the window and caught Draculaura's attention.
"What do we have here." At the sound of the human's voice, Draculaura turned her head meeting the boy's sly smile. "You have a very nice car." He hailed.
The girls noticed the presence of the humans and looked at each other, not knowing what they might want from them.
"Thank you." Replied the vampiress with some nervousness.
The human gave two blows to the roof of the Muscle Car, with some force and made it clear that he wasn't being friendly with them. Clawdeen frowned at this, Cleo folded her arms and narrowed her gaze, she had already realized the human's intentions.
"What do you think lil girl? Do you want to see which car is faster?" the mocking tone of the human was obvious, but it was not enough for Draculaura to say something, she just looked back at the traffic light, but to her bad luck, it was still red. Faced with the lack of reaction and not wishing to leave without disturbing them even more, the boy spoke again. "How about a bet? If you beat me, I'll let you suck my blood. What do you say?" as if it were a joke, the human brought a hand to the collar of his jacket and pulled it, leaving his neck exposed.
The very mention of the vital red liquid caused Draculaura to retch. The girl covered her mouth with one hand and tried not to vomit.
This caused Clawdeen's anger to explode. The werewolf woman peered out from the back seats and glared at both humans.
"Hey you pair of inepts, she's a vegetarian! Don't bother her!"
"Did you hear that brother? A vampire who doesn't drink blood! Now that's a good joke!" the laughter from both of them was heard loudly. "Vampires drink blood, what kind of monster are you?" Draculaura could only shrink in place as small sunny droplets formed at the corners of her eyes, threatening to fall on her cheeks at a moment's notice. "Is she crying? Brother! We made a monster cry!"
"Hahaha! No one is going to believe this!" added the one driving.
Without them or the girls noticing, the side view mirror on Draculaura's side began to move until it reflected both humans. For an instant, the glass turned black and a green circle appeared but disappeared the next second.
Enraged at how these humans were mocking her friend, Cleo let herself be seen and did not hesitate to let her tongue out.
"Don't you have something better to do? Like look for your brains in some dumpster?" at that insult, both humans stopped laughing and looked at her angrily.
"What's the matter? the horrible, scary vampire can't stand up for herself?"
The dam that kept Draculaura's tears from falling broke at that instant and she began to cry.
Seeing their friend in that state, Clawdeen and Frankie rushed to comfort her, but Cleo continued talking.
"Oh I'm sure she can defend herself, but what about you two, can you defend yourselves against my curses?" the mummy was very haughty in saying that, but it was just false bravado, she didn't have any cursed talisman with her so those words were empty threats.
"Try it freak." Cleo was about to say something again, but Draculaura intervened.
"Cleo, stop, please." The mummy wanted to retort to her friend, to tell her that those two deserved a good punch in the face, but seeing how the vampire tried to show strength in the face of those words, she could only keep silent.
At this image, both humans began to laugh loudly, making the girl's sobs worse. Clawdeen gritted her teeth hard at this, wanting nothing more than to get out of the car and show her wolf teeth to the pair and demonstrate how ugly a wolf bite was.
Frankie remained silent, she couldn't believe that these humans would mock her adorable friend like this. Draculaura was possibly the most adorable monster she had ever met and she was also very nice, but she was aware that the vampire, not being able to see her reflection, developed a complex, so the words affected her greatly.
She stood aside and said nothing, not because she didn't want to, but because she was thinking about humans. She was the most familiar with regard to these, after all, her familiar was created by a human. She always had in mind the possibility of meeting a human, but her parents always prevented her, arguing that they were not going to accept her because of her appearance and the green color of her skin. Witnessing those twins made her understand why her parents would not let her meet humans.
Suddenly, the metallic sound of one object of considerable weight crashing into another was heard. Humans and monsters watched in bewilderment as the driver's door had opened with great force, slamming into the van door and causing a large dent.
"What the...!?" the twin co-pilot peered over to see the damage done and then glared at Draculaura. "You think you're so brave!?"
The girl held her breath at that, she hadn't done anything, she was too focused on crying, how could it have been her?
"Losers." Said a male voice from the radio, the station began to change from one to the other in a rapid fashion and allowing snippets of the things being narrated to be heard. "Their intelligence is less than that of a stone. Call now! And get the famous book, "How to Learn to Play Golf for Dummies!", and get it only for 9,99!"
"You freaks think you're so funny!?" questioned the twin driver.
"I'm fast!" the Camaro's driver's door slammed shut, startling Draculaura. "Faster than lightning!" the locks on both doors of the Muscle Car engaged and the wheels began to spin at high speed. "Bite my shiny metal ass!"
To the surprise of the four girls inside the vehicle, it went off like a missile.
The scream of the four could be heard, while the two humans were left behind.
"Quick, go after them!" ordered the twin co-pilot. His brother nodded and stepped on the accelerator, but the sound of an exploding tire was heard as they started forward. "Oh you've got to be kidding me." the copilot twin leaned out the window and looked with a horrified expression at the tire, which was completely flat. "Dad's going to kill us."
The black Camaro moved at a considerable speed through the streets, being in the area where Salem and New Salem met, amount of vehicles was almost non-existent, so he was able to accelerate at ease.
Of course, what was comfortable for the vehicle was not comfortable for the four girls inside.
"Draculaura do something!" shouted Cleo as she clung to the seat.
"The brakes are not working!" shouted Draculaura as she stepped on the brake pedal, but it was as if the brake pedal was simply a useless ornament. "What's happening!?" the sadness and pain she once felt turned to fear and dread as she saw that the vehicle was not responding to her commands.
The girls held on to their seats as the car took a sharp turn, skidding on all four tires and then resuming its path in the direction of the southern part of the city.
"What's wrong with this car!?" shrieked Cleo in fright as she tried her best not to let go of the seat.
The car crossed the streets at high speed, passing points that could be used for guidance later. Beside it, the trees passed by like green blurs and the car slowly made its way out of the city.
While the screams of the young women were heard, many dismissed this as a group of girls who were just showing off their car.
The car headed into the forest, speeding away from civilization and getting lost down a hidden path through the trees, until it finally stopped and the doors opened.
Seeing an opportunity to flee, the four girls rushed to get out of the strange vehicle and get as far away as possible, but it started up again, making them even more frightened. Its wheels kicked up some dirt and dry leaves as they began to move and the car swerved around them and cut them off, then stopped and focused its headlights on them.
They all stood stiffly at this, none of them knew what to do or what was going on. They were as scared as they were confused. And it wasn't until the entire body of that vehicle was covered with lines that glowed neon green that Frankie came up with the answer as to what was going on. She knew those lines, everyone there knew them, so, plucking up the courage, Frankie asked.
"Upgrade?" she asked out loud. Her three friends looked at her, hearing the alien monster's name once again was unexpected, but as they watched a black slime separate from the vehicle, they realized Frankie was right.
Upgrade's body took shape and he made a small gesture with his left hand as a greeting.
None of them said anything. They weren't sure what to say. The girls helped him and he caused chaos, so what little trust they had in him was at stake. he for his part understood this, he caused a fuss when he said he wasn't going to do it. The four monster girls looked at the alien with different expressions, but amazement was the emotion that was most present.
That silence was broken by Clawdeen, who looked at the car and was surprised to see that what was a cool classic car seconds ago was now nothing more than a car-shaped pile of junk.
"What happened to the car!?" she exclaimed in dismay. All eyes, including Upgrade's, turned to the vehicle.
"I knew this would happen." Commented the alien in his language. His body language showed that he was frustrated at that, his shoulders slumped and his back hunched and his head jerked from side to side.
He then kicked the driver's side front wheel, he wanted to test how firm that piece of junk was, but to his bad luck, the wheel fell off, followed by the front bumper, both doors. It was like watching a Jenga tower fall down because someone removed the wrong piece.
Frankie had the perfect expression for a portrait. Her dreams and hopes of owning her car had not only been crushed but were also destroyed and thrown into an incinerator. She could only look at Upgrade, who scratched his head as if trying to think of what to do.
The girls were perplexed, unable to believe what they were seeing, that car was their space friend, no, the alien had merged with the car. As they realized this, they realized a possibility, had Upgrade stolen that vehicle?
Tense at the situation, Frankie stepped forward and asked.
"Upgrade, where did you get that car?" the concern in her voice was more than obvious, but she received no response, the alien simply looked at her.
"Please tell us you didn't steal it." Clawdeen implored at the thought.
The alien denied fervently and walked over to the junk heap that had once been a car and reached inside, then pulled out an object that was recognizable to Cleo.
"That's my ICoffin!" exclaimed the mummy upon seeing the device.
Upgrade nodded once more and merged to the object and fell to the ground. The modification came into view and upgrading the speakers, spoke through the text reading application.
"It's my ship, it's nothing but scrap now, but I can keep it in a vehicle form as long as I'm fused to it." He explained.
"Wait, this thing is your ship!" Draculaura looked puzzled at the alien, who nodded and then jumped up and down until he was on the hood of the car.
"It can't fly and I can't go home." Upgrade was silent for a few moments, he kept looking at them and his mind tried to think of the right words he needed to say. "I need your help. I know you are under no obligation to help me, but I thought you could hide me until someone come looking for me." While that wasn't a lie, if it was a half-truth, he left out the more fantastic parts of his story on purpose. "I know I have nothing to offer, but I need the help, I come from a world too far away from this one, my intention was not to come here, it was a mistake, but I can no longer go back."
"And what do you expect us to do?" Cleo questioned, crossing her arms. "I don't know about you girls, but I don't trust him, we don't know him well enough."
Upgrade was silent, just watching Frankie. The girl began to get nervous, not really knowing what to do. She wanted to help him, but that meant she was going to have to hide it from her parents and she wasn't good at lying, plus there was still the problem of how she would explain to them the presence of a new car in the garage and that it now belonged to her.
She turned to look at her friends for some kind of help on the matter, but they were speechless as she was.
Unconsciously, Frankie began to play with the seams of her neck.
"Upgrade I..." the girl tried to come up with the right words. She wanted to help, but that meant a lot of trouble and her logic screamed at her that it was a terrible idea.
"Please." The alien spoke once more. "I have no place to go, you four are all I know in this world."
Frankie heard a choked sob and turned around, Draculaura was crying once again, but was trying to cover her face with one hand.
"That's very sad! We have to help him!"
"Are you crazy?" Cleo spoke up. "We already helped him he caused a big fuss!"
"In his defense, he was trying to get his ship back." Clawdeen, despite being unsure about everything, came out in favor of Upgrade, who looked at her gratefully, though she couldn't tell, the alien's lonely eye was too expressionless. "Besides, if we help him, we can use the cool car, right?" The possessed phone nodded. "I'm of the opinion that we help him."
Upgrade's gaze returned to Frankie, who let out a sigh. Two of her friends were already in favor and only Cleo was against it, so she decided to ignore her logic and follow her heart.
"Okay, we'll help you hide." The alien gave a jump of excitement. "But! No more crazy stuff like causing a police chase." the alien nodded. "And you'll help me come up with a believable excuse for my parents, I can't just show up with a new car."
"Got it." The substance that made up the alien's body began to separate from the ICoffin and spread over the scrap metal that made up the vehicle, it was restored to its former glory, much to the surprise and excitement of the girls, mainly Clawdeen.
"So, you'll let us use whenever we want to use the car, right Frankie?" Clawdeen looked at her friend, who looked at her with an arched eyebrow. "What? The note said the car was yours."
"The car is there, ask him." In response, the car doors opened and the alien waited patiently for them to get in.
"I think he wants us to get in." Draculaura spoke, the little monster was unsure what to do, the idea of taking a ride in that vehicle was very tempting, but with everything that had happened, she was afraid that Upgrade would drive recklessly again.
"I say, let's do it." Clawdeen stepped forward and climbed into the driver's seat, her hands ran over the steering wheel carefully, the feel of it in her hands was incredible. "Wow."
"Are you crazy!?" questioned Cleo. "What if he wants to kidnap us? What if that whole 'I'm alone and helpless' act is actually a trap?"
"Cleo, an alien transformed into a super cool car is inviting us for a ride, it would be silly to say no." Replied the wolf woman. Her friends were unsure about this, but she decided to speak up again. "Girls, I'm still young and won't live as long as you, but wouldn't it be cool if in fifty years we stopped to think and remember these moments? Wouldn't it be cool if we could say we had the guts to get in the car when we were in high school?"
The three young women looked at the vehicle, the eye of Upgrade was present in the windshield, and looked at them, expectant of their response.
Finally, Frankie stepped forward and ran her fingers along the body of the vehicle and then looked at her friends.
"I trust him, if he wanted to harm us he would have done it before." The girl got into the car after saying that. "Besides, this car is car-tastic!"
"That's not a word!" Cleo's complaint was said out loud, but seeing how her three friends were already inside the car, she let out a snort. "Fine! But if he kidnaps us and tries to put a probe in us, I'll sacrifice you so I can escape."
"Sounds fair, get in!" replied the excited werewolf woman.
Frankie moved to the back seat next to Clawdeen and let the two older girls be in the front and once again Draculaura was behind the wheel as she was the only one with a provisional license to drive.
"Let's get some rhythm going, Upgrade, play some music!" the wolf woman exclaimed excitedly. Heeding the request, the radio began to act on its own and as the car pulled out of that spot, the car's speakers began to blare at full volume. "This is the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me! It's like that movie about alien robots that transform into cars!"
Transformers
More than meets the eye
Transformers Robots
in disguise
Hearing that song coming out of the speakers, Clawdeen and Draculaura looked very surprised, while Cleo arched an eyebrow. Frankie for her part could only be confused, she was not familiar with that song and did not understand her friends' reactions.
"What is Transformers?" Frankie questioned.
For the police officers and especially for the Sheriff, things were not very good. After losing the wreckage of that mysterious ship and causing a great deal of chaos by the police chase.
Police officers were on constant patrol in both Salem and New Salem trying to locate the stolen vehicle, and even deployed officers belonging to different species of monsters, but to no avail.
Like a ghost, that vehicle and its mysterious driver had disappeared.
At police headquarters, Sheriff Gordon looked with a serious expression at his two subordinates who were present at the impact site. They were the same officers who had been inspecting the ship during the early morning hours. The black-haired man and the light brown-haired woman.
They had called him after they reviewed security footage looking for the alleged suspect, and what they found was quite strange.
"Look, here." The male officer pointed to a corner of the screen and his partner began to play the video, for a few seconds a rectangular silhouette could be seen moving in place, this possessed green lines that glowed like neon lights, the object then got lost in an area where the camera did not focus and the next thing they saw was how the coffee pot knocked the two agents unconscious.
"What the hell is that?" questioned the Sheriff, in his many years of career, he had dealt with all sorts of things, what happened when the world he lived in was overrun by monsters, but he never saw anything like that.
"Sir, do you remember that one of the RAD officers reported that he was attacked by a monster he didn't recognize?" the woman asked.
The Sheriff nodded. That was something that happened early that morning. After arriving at the impact area, accompanied by that strange woman who called herself Agent Smith, one of the policemen on the scene, a werewolf, blew his whistle, warning that someone else was in the area. When they went to see what was going on, to everyone's surprise, the werewolf was unconscious. This prompted the officers to begin searching the forest for the person responsible for assaulting a law enforcement officer, but to no avail.
That the man presented a hematoma in the abdominal area could only mean that he was knocked out by a strong and accurate blow, but it left the doubt that he could have attacked him. A werewolf was a difficult monster to deal with, they were tough, strong, agile and with good reflexes, a human didn't stand much of a chance against them, which could only mean that it was a monster that attacked him, but no one could be sure what kind of monster.
After searching the forest and not being able to find the culprit, other werewolves made use of their sense of smell to try to find the culprit, five different scents were present, but because a strong sweet scent, possibly a very expensive perfume, was hindering the werewolves' sense of smell they could not follow the trail for long.
When the gray furred werewolf awoke, he wasted no time and in a state of slight confusion began to narrate what he saw. A huge, green-bellied, black-backed creature with a single circular green eye had approached the area, he didn't know what it was and when he blew the whistle, the next thing he felt was all the air in his lungs escaping. Before he fell unconscious, he saw him run into the woods. The werewolf wasn't sure what kind of monster it was, there were thousands of them, but none fit that description. Some of his agents began to speculate on their own, saying that it was the pilot of the mysterious ship, in other words.
A god damn alien.
The Sheriff dismissed that story as fantasy, the world was strange enough with monsters, now there would be aliens too? His gaze sharpened as he saw a substance emerge from the device and then take on a humanoid form.
"And there we have our suspect." The raven-haired officer looked at his partner as if looking to her for an explanation in the face of that creature. "I looked it up in the database and made some calls to the police station in New Salem, there's no record of a monster like that, whatever it is, we have no idea who it is or where it came from."
"I think we do know what it is and where it came from." A female voice and external to that group of three was heard. The agents and the Sheriff turned, meeting there the woman with the black glasses and the elegant black suit. Seeing her, the man with the mustache frowned even more. "Hello again, Sheriff."
"Officer, what are you doing here?" questioned the Sheriff.
"Don't patronize me, you know why I'm doing here." The woman walked over to the screen and inspected the still where the video stopped. "Uhmm, this is a new one."
"Excuse me, do you know what that thing is?" questioned the brown-haired policewoman.
"I'm sorry to say it's confidential." Her response did not satiate anyone's curiosity, instead, it only made it increase. "Sheriff, I'll be blunt, stand down your deputies and stop looking for this entity, you're not going to find it here."
"How are you so sure?" questioned the black-haired agent, only to fall silent when the woman looked at him. For some reason, he felt intimidated before her and swallowed saliva unconsciously.
"For this." The woman pressed the space bar on the keyboard, resuming the video.
The policemen watched attentively, expectant of what would happen.
Their expressions changed to one of complete bewilderment as they watched the mysterious entity tear off the black cloth cover and then pounce on the wreckage of the ship, merging with it.
For several minutes, all that could be seen was how that strange vehicle was shaking, its entire structure was being modified, altered, and reassembled, then they saw the black twigs emerge and drag the seized car, joining it to the shapeless mass of black and green.
"What the hell?" those were the only words out of the Sheriff's mouth, his gaze shifted to Agent Smith, who was retreating from the scene. He wanted to stop her, but the woman spoke.
"Forget you saw that and if anyone asks, the thief escaped and has most likely left town, and I would recommend deleting that recording." With those last directives given, the woman disappeared behind the door, leaving behind her an atmosphere full of questions.
The two lower-ranking policemen looked at each other and the black-haired man spoke.
"At least she didn't wipe our memory." His companion shot him a look that expressed her thoughts. "What? I can't be the one to compare her to the men in black, right?"
Hearing the words of his subordinate, the Sheriff just rolled his eyes, dismissing those words as mere delusions, but a strange feeling invaded him and he turned his eyes towards the screen that played the security video, once again, there was that black and green humanoid figure walking towards the wreckage of the ship and removing the blanket that hid it. Seeing that scene again made him question what exactly that thing was.
At Frankie's house, the group of four girls was standing in front of Viveka. After returning to the Frankenstein girl's home, they began to explain to the woman where the mysterious black car that was now parked in front of the garage had come from. The woman's expression as she listened to the explanation was completely flat as she could not believe what she was being told.
"And that's why I'm giving the car to Frankie." Cleo finished narrating her explanation, her expression of complete calm, she was already used to lying so it wasn't hard for her, the problem was Frankie, which couldn't help but play with the seams of her neck.
"You say that, since Frankie will soon be a year old and since you made it to the Monster Mashionals, you decided to give her a car?" Viveka summarily repeated the explanation Cleo had given her, the girl just nodded, confirming that this was the truth.
Viveka was silent. She looked at the mummy and then looked at her daughter, who upon seeing herself under the scrutiny of her mother and creator let out some sparks.
"Frankie, stop playing with your seams, you'll rip them." Scolded the woman, causing the girl to pull her hand away from her neck.
"You can rest assured Mrs. Stein, Cleo paid for everything." Clawdeen added.
"One car is too much." The woman began. "Cleo, we can't accept something like that."
"I insist." Hastily said the mummy. After they all agreed, she reluctantly, of course, to help Upgrade, they decided that Frankie should be with him since she was the only one who could hide him without attracting too much attention and for that reason they made up the story that it was a gift from Cleo. The mummy did not want to spend time with the alien and much less for him to be in her house, so they had to convince Viveka to accept the "gift". "Frankie went out of her way for the team and helped me when my previous team left, giving her a car isn't that much in comparison."
"But she doesn't know how to drive." Frankie's mother said that as she looked at her daughter, who looked away hurriedly. "Why give her a car?"
"Cleo is rich, that's why." Clawdeen stepped ahead of her friends and spoke. Seeing them all looking at her with confused expressions, she spoke again. "Rich people always make bad decisions, that's why she bought her a car."
Cleo was ready to retort that, but kept silent, it was better not to drag that discussion out any longer, but she wasn't going to leave it at that, and eventually, she would get revenge on Clawdeen.
Viveka was unsure of this lame excuse. She knew her daughter's friends were good girls and she had no reason to be wary of them, but... Her eyes traveled to the front door, even if she couldn't see that car, she could feel it, which shouldn't be possible unless it was a monster.
Something wasn't right with all that explanation she was given, so he couldn't help but be suspicious.
"Mom, please, with that car I could do so many things, the girls and I could go to the Maul and you wouldn't have to worry about me." Hearing her daughter, the woman returned her gaze to her. The girl had a puppy dog expression on her face, imploring her to agree.
Viveka brought a hand to her forehead, she could feel the migraine giving its first signs of presence.
"Okay, okay, you can keep the car." At those words, everyone's face lit up and for Cleo it was as if a weight too heavy and unwanted to carry was lifted from her shoulders. "But, I have conditions." Frankie nodded silently, it was understandable that her mother would not give her full freedom, but at least they could hide Upgrade in the garage. "First, you will not use that car until you get your license."
"Covered! I have my provisional license!" Draculaura raised her hand excitedly.
"Second, I will call Ramses and talk to him just to make sure he don't have any problems with this gift." They were all reassured at that, despite the fact that really this condition meant a big problem, it wasn't immediately, after all, Cleo's father was out of town and wouldn't be back for a couple of weeks. "And third, you will promise me that you will be very careful when you use it."
Frankie nodded fervently and hugged her mother, who returned the gesture.
"You can put it in the garage, when your dad comes back I'll tell him to make some extra room."
The woman and the girls talked some more about the car, some more conditions were set, and also that Frankie should learn to drive. Although this was not a real problem since Upgrade was the one doing all the work.
Some time later, the group of four girls were in the garage next to the alien-possessed car and on a signal from Frankie, the alien emerged and began to stretch its legs to the surprise of the Frankenstein girl.
"My legs went numb." Upgrade commented in his language, soon after he began to look around, he studied the garage in detail.
The place was quite normal, it reminded him a bit of the garage of his house, there were some boxes and tools around the place, along with gardening clothes and to finish, a second car, only covered by a gray tarp, but he did not pay much attention to it, he was a little more relaxed now that he had a roof over his head, or at least something similar, after all, he had been in that reality for almost three days and had no idea what to do or where to go, so it would be best to wait for his good friend, Professor Paradox to give him some unclear words that would possibly confuse him even more, but this plan was better than none at all.
He noticed that the four girls were looking at him, so he put aside his musings and looked at them. He noticed that Clawdeen was anxious for some reason, her ears were erect and her golden eyes glanced sporadically at the remains of the proto truck.
"What?" he questioned, only they didn't understand.
Before Clawdeen could say what she was thinking, Frankie intervened, they had managed to pass the first of the bumps, explaining the existence of a car in her name, one more lie that added to all the ones they told. It was time to clear some things up with the alien.
"Upgrade, you will now live here." The girl emphasized her words by waving. "You can't leave the garage or you'll be seen." Upgrade just nodded, he was aware of that, although after recovering the wreckage of the ship, he found several things that could help him, apart from his wallet and phone, of course explaining these would be difficult and they were now hidden in the trunk of the vehicle inside a box he made himself with some pieces of metal.
"What's the plan anyway?" Cleo sat on the car that was hidden by that gray tarp and crossed her legs. "Have him locked in a garage until the end times come?"
"Try if you can..." muttered the alien, but no one but Clawdeen could hear him and of course, the werewolf woman didn't understand.
Frankie denied, she didn't plan to have him trapped in four walls forever, that wasn't fair and it wasn't possible, something told her that the alien wasn't going to like the idea.
"We could teach him a few things." Draculaura gave her suggestion with a smile. "We've already seen him watch TV, maybe he'll learn more things if we teach him, like music or maybe movies."
"It's a good plan, I mean, he could imitate me." Clawdeen seconded the idea, remembering how Upgrade had imitated her. "What do you think big guy?"
Upgrade looked at her and merely shrugged, after all, he had already checked the internet of that world and while there were differences, many other things remained the same. He could continue to pretend, but eventually, they would find out that there was something strange about him.
"Think of it this way, if you manage to learn how to behave between humans and monsters, then you can get out of the garage and make friends." The vampiress said that. Her words caused Upgrade to think that she was undoubtedly a very pure girl, and somewhat discontinued, but leaving the gothic look she had, she was someone very kind and with a good heart.
His mind disconnected for a few moments, completely ignoring that Cleo was starting to give a speech about how bad that idea was. His computerized mind began to analyze some things and in the end, he looked towards the trunk of the car that was his disguise, but ended up discarding the idea that came to his mind.
"More importantly, I don't think he's wearing pants." Hearing that come out of the mummy's mouth, the alien snapped back to reality and looked at Cleo in confusion.
The other three monster girls looked at him with an analytical eye and then Clawdeen spoke.
"I don't think he's wearing any clothes." Hearing the werewolf woman say that, Draculaura looked away and the alien frowned her one eye, she couldn't help but wonder what kind of context that sentence had to be in. "Maybe he's a Ken."
"I'm going to..." Upgrade tried to move towards Clawdeen, who noticed this and increased the distance between them.
This unexpected reaction surprised Cleo and Frankie. The latter did not understand why the Martian reacted this way, on the other hand, Cleo did and had to hold back a laugh that threatened to escape.
After Upgrade was calmed down and they all stopped Frankie from probing further into what Clawdeen had said, the motley crew began to plan how to educate the alien, who was distracted by Draculaura's ICoffin, which she had very kindly lent to them.
"I'm of the opinion that some jeans would look good on him." The werewolf woman gave her knowledge of fashion to dress the alien.
"Can we stop talking about his apparent nudity?" implored Frankie as she tried not to blush.
"That's fine, but sooner you accept it, it be better." Clawdeen replied. "Where do we start?"
"Maybe with some music?" Draculaura was looking at Upgrade, the alien was sitting cross-legged looking at the ICoffin screen he lent her. "He seems to be very interested in FrightTube."
As the vampire said, the alien was watching the monster version of the popular human video platform called YouTube.
Upgrade was taking some time to investigate some things about that world. Something about the monsters had aroused his curiosity and he wanted to come up with an answer.
"They're not much different." He thought as he watched a monster on the small screen, this one was playing a video game that looked vaguely familiar, but the differences were enough to make him unable to recognize it.
Unbeknownst to him, Clawdeen, Frankie, and Draculaura approached him and peeped over his shoulders at what he was looking at.
"Is he watching a Gameplay?" the wolf woman questioned confused and surprised.
"Maybe he wants to play." Draculaura suggested.
Frankie just watched him, she found Upgrade's behavior curious, she had seen it before, some students at Monster High acted the same way when wasting time watching their favorite FrightTuber. This led her to question again Upgrade's apparent knowledge of many things that were common on Earth and his apparent connection to a human named Ben Tennyson.
Her thoughts engrossed her, so she didn't notice that her two best friends were teaching the alien a few things.
"This is a Xenomorph, it's from an alien movie, do you recognize it?" Clawdeen was showing him a picture of a completely black and quite terrifying monster.
Upgrade looked at him, then at Clawdeen and nodded, then pointed at the image and pointed at the ceiling, or rather at space. The vampire and the werewolf did not understand the signal, looked at the image and then at Upgrade and then once again at the image.
"Wait, you mean these things exist!?" the werewolf woman raised her voice, it was clear she was dismayed at that information and her expression twisted to one of horror as she saw the alien nod. "I think I don't like the space anymore."
Upgrade's eye curved upward, amused at the girl's reaction. Although they were not like in the movies, Xenomorphs did exist in his home reality, and, despite being a very annoying pest, they were not the lethal, genetically perfect aliens depicted in the movies, some were even eaten or kept as pets. His grandfather was one of those foodies who liked "xenofood" and compared them to shrimp.
He was thankful that his current transformation had no stomach because just thinking about his beloved grandfather's exotic food made him retch.
After a few minutes, and after Upgrade had to merge into Draculaura's ICoffin to explain to Clawdeen that no space monsters would appear to infest the city so she could rest easy, the group stood in a circle and began to teach Upgrade what they considered useful for his to adapt.
Each girl taught him something different, even Cleo, albeit very reluctantly.
Draculaura showed him through her ICoffin several programs of romance and drama, telling him that couples on earth acted like that when they were in love and she did not hesitate to tell him that when he understood everything maybe he could get a partner. Despite the good intention, she only succeeded in making the alien look sad for a few moments. Something was wrong, so Draculaura apologized and let the next of her friends show her something.
Cleo explained to him in a very grand way who she was, an ancient princess of Egypt, loved and acclaimed at the school he went to, and after that Upgrade stopped listening to her. For him, hearing her talk so much was like listening to one of his villains explaining his whole evil plan and giving him a chance to escape and kick their ass. Plus the girl had too much ego for his like.
Next up was Frankie, who explained about Earth, its inhabitants, the things teenagers like them did for fun and entertainment, she even pulled out a magazine to explain it better. Upgrade wasn't sure where the magazine came from, the girl wasn't carrying anything with her just before. Other than that, she taught him a few things about monsters, but it was all very superficial.
"Every monster is unique and special in its own way, I can control electricity." The Frankenstein girl showed her right hand and the girl's index finger and thumb released a few sparks. "My control is very small, but my mom says when I'm older I'll be able to control it better."
Upgrade found the explanation interesting. He had deduced that Frankie and her parents were the counterparts of that reality of the Transylians and his own transformation belonging to that species, though he believed it was the only appearance. With this new information, he could tell that they shared powers as well, which led him to look at the other girls and pointed to Draculaura.
"What can I do?" the vampire thought for a few moments and then answered. "I have night vision, immortality, and I can transform into a vampire." The last part was said with some nervousness, which confused the alien, but he played it down.
Next up was Clawdeen, who wasted no time in proudly displaying the abilities inherent to her species.
"Super strength, better speed and like Draculaura I can see in the dark, plus I have these girls." The werewolf woman pointed to her ears, which twitched. "Cute, aren't they?"
"No howl?" he questioned, but as usual they didn't understand.
Finally, there was Cleo, the mummy kept her arms crossed as if all that didn't matter to me, but Clawdeen nudged her so that she would tell Upgrade her skills.
"Why do I have to tell him what I can do?" she questioned, but her friends insisted, so she ended up giving in. "Other than my lush, exotic beauty, which should be praised and..." Upgrade's mind switched off as Cleo gave herself a lot of compliments and only came back to herself when the girl started talking about her powers. "I can control snakes and beetles, my dad can control sand and I'm immortal, plus I have cursed talismans so I suggest you don't piss me off."
Upgrade analyzed all that information, despite the parallelism, the quartet of monster girls was not as similar to his quartet of monsters as he thought. For starters, two of them were immortal, and despite their transformations named Snare Oh and Whampire, they were very tough and long-lived, they were not immortal, even their most powerful transformation and who was a full-fledged god was not immortal, their kind could live billions of years, but they would die eventually.
"What can you do?" the voice of Draculaura brought him out of his thoughts and he looked at the girl. "Other than everything we've already seen you do."
Upgrade thought about it for a few moments, they had told him their full abilities, so he could tell them his, or better yet, show them to them.
The alien's body transformed into its slime form and hurled itself against the wreckage of the proto-truck, returning it to its disguised appearance.
"Merging and enhancing technology, that's pretty impressive." Frankie commented, she, unlike her friends, was very intrigued by the abilities the space monster presented.
He told her that his species was called Mechamorph, and if she used her knowledge and thanks to the fact that Cleo was very good at languages, if they separated the word in two they could read it as mecha and morph, in other words, changing machine, which could perfectly explain the abilities he had. Modifying, transforming and improving technology were his abilities, although she might have others and this was intriguing her. Thanks to her parents, she knew many things about biology and science, so she could understand more easily some things, but Upgrade was something out of her league and she was not sure if it was a monster that was born, rather, it was a monster created, like a robot.
"He's just like me..." she thought.
"Can you transform the car into something else?" Clawdeen asked. "Like... into an airplane?"
"How about on a boat?" added Draculaura.
"Or in a Lamborghini, this car is horrible." At Cleo's words, the vehicle's engine started and threatened to move towards her, which caused her to quickly move further away and then shoot him an annoyed glare.
"I think this car is cool, it's like one out of Transformers." The wolf woman stuck her head through the driver's side window and looked inside. "It even has its own logo. Upgrade, are you Autobot or Desepticon?" she asked in a joking tone.
The car radio came on and a rock song began to play over the speakers, startling the girls.
Autobots wage their battle
To destroy the evil forces
Of the Decepticons
For a few seconds, the young monster girls just listened to the song, surprised that Upgrade started playing that song once again.
"A good one, gocha!" exclaimed Clawdeen. "You just need to transform into a robot and we can say you're an Autobot."
A sound, similar to a high-pitched screeching sound was heard, causing the werewolf woman to cover her ears and drive the car away.
When it stopped, they all looked at the alien-possessed car in confusion, but to their surprise, the roof of the body opened, raising six different sections. The car doors opened, though not sideways as they should, but upward.
The four young women stepped back as a large shadow loomed over them all, intimidating them with utmost ease and leaving them all with an expression of complete surprise.
"No way..." the Clawdeen's mouth dropped as they saw that in front of them stood a large black colored robotic humanoid with green lines, Upgrade's trademark, two rods protruded from its back, next to the car doors, as well as having tires on its shoulders and legs, on its chest was a large number ten written in green and on its face was the dial that was once on Upgrade's chest, acting as an eye.
The robot began to rise to its full height, only to bang its head against the ceiling causing a hole in the ceiling.
"Ouch." Complained the mechamorph as it felt the impact. "And there goes my dramatic entrance."
After this he focused his attention on the four girls, who were looking at him with expressions very difficult to describe, it was as if disbelief and astonishment had merged with fear. Their eyes were wide as saucers and if it wasn't impossible, their mouths would have fallen to the floor from how open they were.
He scratched his head, causing his hand to hit the ceiling and make another hole.
"Whoops."
"Please tell me you're seeing that too." Cleo implored, her mind not quite processing everything that was happening and internally praying to RA that it was all a dream.
"Fra-Frankie." Hearing Draculaura say her name, the monster girl looked at her automatically, her friend was as surprised as she was and had to swallow saliva to speak again. "I-I think this is going to cause trouble."
Frankie couldn't agree more and was beginning to question exactly what it was she had let into her house.
Clawdeen on the other hand came out of her stupor and excitedly approached the alien.
"You're cooler than I first thought!" upon hearing that praise, the alien again towered over his full height, poking his head through the ceiling for the third time. "And you have the finesse of a minotaur in a china store."
"My parents are going to kill me..." was all poor Frankie could say as she saw the trouble coming.
"Upgrade, you really have the touch!" add the werewolf.
The radio began to play another song, this time it started with an electric keyboard, for a few seconds before the singer's voice was heard.
You have the Touch!
You have the Power!
Yeah!
Hearing that song, Clawdeen's smile grew and she couldn't help but get even more excited than she already was.
"We must take a selfie! Oh Clawd is going to die of envy, I know a Transformer and he doesn't!"
By that point, Clawdeen's more childish side had appeared and she was not intimidated by the robotic colossus, Upgrade was quite at ease with that reaction, as if it was something that was normal for him and posed for the girl to take a picture of him.
All this only made Frankie stand still in place, not knowing what to think or say. Her eyes traveled from the alien to the holes in the garage ceiling now and she couldn't help but shiver at what her parents would do to her when they saw that.
"Draculaura, come! Let's take a picture with Upgrade!"
Frankie could only watch it all with a very complex mix of emotions, her right hand went to the seams of her neck and began to play with them as her bolts began to release sparks, her nervous breakdown was beginning to reach a new level.
Hey, what's up? I know, it took me another week to do this, I had a health problem, I'm still not sure what the fuck it was, I don't know if it was Covid, Dengue, or my own body deciding to be an asshole, but it made me pretty bad, I was in bed for almost 3 days, and I had to wait for another two to be able to be on the PC without my head hurting. Anyway, here I am again and with a new chapter. It was a bit slow, I know, but I was able to use the Smith scene I discarded so I'm content. Miss S is my favorite secondary character and I still don't know why.
Getting back to the important stuff, this time I don't think there's much to explain. Everything is pretty clear and it also shapes the world with that pair of humans, who by the way are the two goons that are with Lilith in the TV special "Ghouls Rule". I thought the right thing to do would be to show a bit of how things are between humans and monsters and also build up the characters a bit, Draculaura and Frankie being the ones I expanded on the most. Draculaura for example, not being able to see her reflection she developed a big complex about her appearance and her status as a vegetarian vampire makes some people might make fun of her. By the way, the reason behind her being Vegan is very sad and has to do with her biological mother.
And putting a period here for a second...
I'm serious, reading that was sad. The same thing with Cleo and Nefera, the most trusted people in their family betrayed them and did a coup, which ended with them and their father being separated from their mother and being mummified with magic bandages so they wouldn't die so easily, Cleo developed some fears and insecurities here and Nefera became a very bitter girl and just used everyone around her as that was her method of defense so she wouldn't get hurt. There are also Clawdeen's money problems having such a large family and so she and all her older siblings try to find good jobs, Clawd being a sportsman, Clawdia being a writer, and herself being a fashion designer, not to mention the older siblings already having their own families. I would like to explore this, it would be very entertaining to read and truthfully I think it would also make someone, whoever, identify with the characters. I think this was the original message of that series and I want to keep it.
Exaggerated? Yes, I think so, but it's a challenge I will accept to take and try to meet, plus, if I achieve what I plan to achieve with this story, I would be very happy and proud.
But, leaving this aside, let's move on...
Frankie on the other hand is very smart, and thanks to her parents she knows a lot about biology and many other things, this is clear, but what about her "normal" side? She is a teenager, with dreams and fantasies of her own, albeit a bit exaggerated. And if you're wondering why I described her with abs better than most, well... believe it or not, it's in the book and I liked the idea that she's not a scrawny girl, she's a Frankenstein's monster so, in a way, she's a very strong monster (not to mention she can make Manny bend over by pulling him by his nose ring and I'm sure that's not an easy thing to pull off). Aside from that, there are the nervous tics she has, like releasing sparks or playing with the seams of her neck when she's nervous.
Cleo and Clawdeen didn't develop much, but they made it clear that, if their friends are messed with, they will respond.
The same with Upgrade, Ben always acts rashly and without much thought, that's why he did everything he did, in order to end this injustice and caused his new friends to get a good scare.
That Frankie is compared to him is logical in a sense, Mechamorphs are created beings, like AIs and simulacrum-type monsters, such as Frankie and her family, any robot, Hoodude, among others.
The two songs that Upgrade uses to respond to Clawdeen's comments about Transformers are, Lion - The Transformers, and, Stan Bush - The Touch. Those of you who are geeks like me will recognize them very easily. For those who don't, I recommend listening to "The Touch", I'm serious, it's a great song and the message is pretty good.
About the scene where they lie to Viveka, well, there is not much to remark, except that Frankie's birthday is June 26th. The Wiki says it, it also says that Clawdeen's middle name is Lucia, strange don't you think? And since the summer vacations are near, that is, as you know it's the middle of June, it's the perfect excuse. Besides that, of all her friends, Clawdeen is the closest to know many things about pop culture, according to her age, she must have been born around 1995 or 1996, so she had contact with many things of the time, not to mention that her very, very, very, very, (seriously, she has like 12 siblings and 4 others who already have their own families), very big family, I'm sure that some of her older siblings had contact with human things and she met Transformers through this.
I won't say anything about the cops scene, except that Agent Smith is a character that will bring the presence of certain monsters, I'll tell you one to see if you can guess what will happen.
Flatwoods.
Anyway, things here, things there... OH! The existence of the Xenomorphs, well, I was watching a movie called "Planet 51" and there was an alien dog that was a parody of the Xenomorphs and it made me laugh so much that I wanted to refer to it.
By the way, the "immortality" of Cleo and Draculaura, I doubt it is one as such, it must only be a kind of longevity, like the Vladat and Thep Khufan, so they are mortals who live long and simply call it "immortality". Anyway, what a horrible punishment it is to be immortal...
To finish, Upgrade again transformed the car into a robot, as happens in the episode "OTTO Motives". Ben is a showman, he loves to get attention, and what better way to get attention than to transform the car into a robot and destroy the garage roof of his friend's house?
In the books, Frankie's family has 2 cars, one is an SUV, and the other is a modified car that is never described but according to Frankie, that car perfectly represents the "carcification", whatever that means and they call that car "MUTT",
I think there's nothing left... Anyway, chapter 4 is ready, and about chapter 5, as I already said in chapter 3, I'm taking a risk with some things. I want to create something original and at the same time entertaining, so I'm thinking about everything that will happen in chapter 5, it will be a slow chapter, more or less, since I want Ben to find a reason why to help the world and not just "I'm a hero and it's my duty", apart from other things and finally Eon's appearance, more like a final cameo, but you understand. By the way, I was thinking of writing a One-Shot for him, to give him a backstory, so little is known about him so I thought I could create something for my version of Eon. I mean, the alien Eon (let's call him original Eon) canonically was killed by a Ben 10K from another timeline or something, this during the "Race Against the Time" events of the "Prime" timeline, the Ultimate Alien Eon is an evil Ben with temporal powers and which lost the Omnitrix for some reason, and in theory, he's the same Eon from Omniverse.
My idea is to write a story for this guy, give him a reason to do what he does, plus explain how he and Paradox met, so that in the end they both end up being the greatest rivals. Fun but irrelevant fact, they are both exactly equally powerful, only Eon is slightly weaker as he doesn't have a Chrono navigator of his own.
The problem with this One-Shot is that I should write it just as a Ben 10 story and... as bad as it sounds, it will be a story with dark shades, where I would narrate the origins of Eon himself, how Ben Tennyson ended up transforming into a heartless monster. Will I do it? I won't I? No idea, but I've had the idea down on paper for a few days now.
Well, I won't say anything more, I'm retiring for today, I'm still not completely cured so I think I'll be late with chapter 5.
Thanks for reading and for making it down here.
