Chapter 4

"Fond Farewell"

When Avery awoke again, his head still felt foggy. It was a little later in the evening he noticed, judging by the brightness outside. The first thing he noticed was that he was hungry beyond belief, he thought back to what Lexi said before, and slightly hesitated before pressing the buzzer for his room. It wasn't much longer before the Audino returned to his room, or he hoped it was the same one. She arrived at his bedside and smiled at him, tilting her head. Avery grimaced, "C-Can I have… food, please." He said carefully. The Audino smiled delightedly and nodded as she left.

Avery sighed in contemplation, was he actually talking to pokemon now? It was such a crazy thought to him, that just a week ago he thought they were all heartless monsters or something. In fact, Avery's not quite sure what he thought they were beforehand. He knew now that they only meant their best, and that it was him that was so gullible as to get convinced to go hide out in the bushes for seven months. Avery rather degradingly thought of himself as an idiot for that. Everything that had been told to him had given him hope that he might be able to find his friend again. Even if he couldn't hear her, just being able to see her again would be enough.

He caught sight of his bag in the corner of the room, feeling a bit grateful that one of the pokemon must've gotten his things for him. Hopefully they didn't skip over his clothes, he thought amusedly. He also noticed a TV on the wall, and after a short search found a remote. Flipping it on was the largest culture shock he could've asked for, what with every channel being predominantly pokemon now. He flipped around, stumbling on a news station. It wasn't the most interesting watch, but it'd help him 'catch up on the times' so to speak. Flipping the subtitles on, it was all rather mundane.

Some stories came on, one about the remaining in hiding pokemon that worked for Team Plasma, who were still on the run. Other stories about certain things being rebuilt or repurposed finally. It was exactly as Avery expected. Finally one flashed that seemed to catch his attention, "Late last night the HRR finally managed to find one of the last human children left in the Kalos region," A picture showed of him, and he huffed a laugh, "He is currently recovering at Santalune City hospital and is expected to be released quite quickly. As he has sustained no major injuries."

'I'm famous, took me long enough,' He mused to himself, though the end of that brought him only another question. What was going to happen to him anyway? What happened to every child who was found? He imagined they went to some sort of community, kind of like a school, with other kids. But he really had absolutely no clue.

He noticed in the corner of his eye that Audino had returned, pushing a cart with a tray on top. He felt his mouth nearly water already, because the smell was already amazing. He had lived on dried and canned food for months. She flipped his bed's tray up, setting it in front of him, and Avery quickly thanked the Audino who nodded before leaving. In front of him was a plate of salisbury steak with mashed potatoes and carrots. With milk of course to wash it down, hospitals always gave milk.

He dug in, and paid no mind to the fact that he might've looked odd. This was the best thing he'd eaten in more than half a year, and he was going to enjoy it if it was the last thing he did. As he ate he read another news story, "Miss Spiritclaw, owner of the HRR has finally released her statement about the decreasing need for the company. In a statement she made, she reported that there were still over fifty children throughout the world that have remained currently unfound. And that she would keep the company focused, and committed to their task until every single one is found. She also stated that in the event of them all being found, the HRR would continue service, but that a rebrand might be in their future."

Avery finished his meal, maybe a bit faster than he should've, but he shrugged it off… Just in time as Lexi peaked into the room, she waved quickly as well as her assistant Skye. Avery felt the familiar buzz from Skye, and allowed her in. Lexi was already apparent in the connection. "Sorry to interrupt you Avery, but there's a guest here to see you. But of course only if you'd like to."

Avery tilted his head, "Who? Are you sure they're here to see me?"

Lexi nodded affirmatively, "A little girl named Avah and her guardians."

Avery almost leapt out of the bed in shock, as his heart pounded in his chest, "Y-Yes let her in!"

Lexi smiled and turned, gesturing to somebody who was waiting outside. And soon enough, Avah's head poked through the doorway. Her hair was braided and she looked a lot happier than Avery thought she had been. She ran up quickly and gave Avery the biggest hug in the world. Behind her trailed two pokemon into the room, A Pangoro and an Ursaring. Skye must've made connections with the other three, as she called out, "Okay everyone make it kinda brief, I don't have infinite psychic power."

Avah looked Avery in the eyes again, as he felt himself tearing up, "You're okay,"

She laughed, "Of course I am silly." Quickly she gestured to her two guardians, "This is Jett, my father," She started, gesturing to the Pangoro, "And this is Anaya, my mom!" She said, giving the ursaring a hug.

Lexi must've noticed Avery's intense confusion, because she quickly interrupted, "I'll explain it to you later Avery. Alright?"

Avah came back over, and laughed slightly, "Oh yeah, you just got found, so you're probably confused… I missed you a lot." She said honestly as she hugged Avery again.

Jett stepped forward, "She talks about you all the time, I just knew we had to bring her to see you."

Anaya nodded, "You're one of her favorite people, that's for sure. Thank you for keeping my daughter safe for so long."

Avery felt completely out of his element as he rubbed the back of his head, "Oh yes of course, it was no big deal…"

Avah playfully hit his shoulder, "No big deal, you literally lost your hearing over me dummy."

Jett and Anaya looked shocked at what she had just said, but Avery and Avah quickly laughed their butts off over that. Lexi inquired, "Really? Exactly how did that happen my dear?"

Avah raised her eyebrow, "Oh yeah, that first night, Avery broke a window and pulled me out of a burning car. Then he threw himself on top of me and covered my ears…" She blushed, embarrassed, "He really is my hero, but he's also a big dumb idiot for doing it." Once again the two children laughed and playfully pushed each other back.

Jett walked forward in astonishment, and grabbed Avery's hand. "You truly are a little hero my friend. We owe you so much." Anaya nodded intently from his side.

Avery smiled up at him and nodded, "It was my pleasure. I'm just happy to be with my friend again, if I can visit her more often."

Avah's smile slowly turned downcast as she avoided eye contact, "That's uhm… Avery I've gotta tell you something." Avery suddenly listened intently to what she had to say, "We uh… We're moving. To a new region." she said sadly.

"What!? Why?" Avery said, feeling a wave of sadness wash over him.

She grabbed his hands and nodded, "That's where our family got relocated. I'm sorry." She said, suddenly hugging him again.

Lexi stepped forward, "Often when children are rehabilitated into a new home, we have their families move to a new city or region entirely. It keeps bad memories from resurfacing…" She explained for him.

Skye chimed in, "Sorry guys, I've gotta cut some of the excess weight."

Jett nodded, speaking out loud, "Just keep those two in the connection, let them have their peace."

Skye obliged and removed everyone from the connection other than the two children, and herself of course. Avery looked sadly into Avah's eyes as he teared up more, "Well then I guess this is it. At least, I know you're safe now."

Avah laid her head on his shoulder, "I don't want to leave without you either. I hate making new friends, I just want to keep the one I still have…"

Avery sighed, "I'm sorry for way back then, I never meant to yell at you. And I should've helped you."

Avah shook her head, "I should be apologizing… For leaving you alone out there for so long. I knew that we were safe, and you would be too. But every time I went to tell someone about you I just froze up…"

Avery sighed, "It was a tough choice, I don't blame you Avah…" after a moment of shifting his eyes across the room he asked, "When do you leave?"

She broke the hug and stared at him, "Tomorrow… That's why you kind of got found just now. I panicked when they told me we were moving away and… told them where you were hiding…"

Avery sighed, and Avah worried he was angry at her. Then he just smiled, and hit her shoulder lightly, "Well, thanks. Ya big dummy." They both laughed with each other again."

While the children conversed, they were tearing up and hugging each other. The Urasring looked to Lexi with a saddened expression, practically on the verge of tears herself, "Miss Lexi… Are you sure it isn't possible for us to possibly… adopt?" She implied, looking to her husband for support.

Jett picked up what she meant and nodded eagerly, "Two isn't an issue I promise."

Lexi sighed sadly as she glanced at the two friends, and shook her head solemnly, "No, I'm afraid not… There are very strict rules in place for adopting more than one child unless they are blood related. Since their population is so small…" Lexi said, letting their minds do the rest. The two pokemon nodded at what she was saying, apprehension and sadness apparent on their features.

"Where will the little one go then? Does he have a partner somewhere?" Anaya expressed uncomfortably.

Lexi tilted her head, "Supposedly. But until they can be found he will be in alternative care."

The Ursaring bit her lip as she grumbled, "I hate rules."

They seemed to finish their conversation, ending in a laugh. Which seemed to bring the spirits up of everyone in the room. Anaya quickly scribbled something on a piece of paper titled 'phone number' and handed it to Avery with a wink. The two pokemon gently pried the two friends away from each other. "Bye Avery, remember to call every once in a while." She said teasingly.

Avery waved from his bed, "Bye Avah, I will. Though it might be sort of one sided."

"Oh, right… Well we can work it out." Avah said sheepishly.

"Make sure when you look at the stars that you think of me." Avery half-teased.

Avah's smile faltered, and quickly returned, "That's the sappiest thing you've said so far you nerd…" She hesitated for a moment, "But, it's a nice idea."

Skye cut the connection off for her, and the family began to get escorted out by Lexi. Leaving Avery and Skye in the room alone, "Man psychic connection is really taxing." Avery commented as he was growing mentally tired again.

The Meowstic who was leaning on a countertop huffed a laugh, "You're telling me kid." She said in agreement as she began to regain some of her power back.

But not long afterwards the Doctor had returned and Skye huffed in annoyance, bringing her back into the connection. "I'm sorry Avery." Lexi expressed sadly.

Avery shook his head and managed a smile, "She's not gone forever. We'll see each other again."

Lexi nodded at that with a smile, "I'm sure you have a few questions now."

Avery thought to himself, "I was going to ask about the whole adopted by pokemon thing, but if I remember correctly… That Pangoro was her father's best friend right? I guess it makes sense, getting adopted... especially if you know the pokemon."

The Cinccino nodded, confirming everything he'd said, "Oh so she must've told you before. Yes, Pangoro had been looking for her for quite a while. They were already quite close so when they found her she agreed to an adoption. It's actually very common amongst young trainers and children of trainers." Lexi came over to his bed, and began checking his medical status on the monitors.

Avery nodded, still slightly saddened by his friend's absence, "I'm… happy for her."

Lexi hummed, "I have good news and bad news."

Avery shrugged, "I think I've been through the worst I can."

Lexi continued, "So all signs are pointing to you being able to be released tomorrow. You do have a few vitamin deficiencies but those are easily fixed with supplements. The slightly bad news is that you're going to have to stay in the nearby Human Rehabilitation Center until we can find your partner."

Avery sighed, looking down at his blanket, "Is that just a fancy word for an orphanage?"

Lexi bit her lip, "It's not all as awful as those humans ones used to be. But in a way, yes… It's full of children whose partners haven't been found, and ones that never had much relation to pokemon."

Avery shrugged, "It's all the same. Hope someone adopts you out quickly or get stuck forever."

Lexi shook her head and grabbed his hand, "They are much quicker at finding children's homes. The average time spent there for each child is about a month or two." She used a paw to guide Avery to look at her, "I promise, you won't be left to rot in there."

Avery chose to believe her, Lexi had been very nice to him up until now and he had no reason to doubt her. "Okay."

Lexi suddenly remembered something, "You mentioned to me earlier you had a partner. I could put in a request for her to be found, if you wouldn't mind giving me her details?"

Suddenly Avery teared up again, quickly wiping them away, "Y-Yes please. I miss her very much. I just want to see her again."

The Cinccino quickly pulled out a writing pad, "Of course! Let me know what kind of pokemon and what you used to call her to help narrow it down."

Avery nodded slowly, "Well, she went by Luna, but I'd always call her lulu for short. And she was a Goodra…" He couldn't think of any other defining features, she had no battle scars or otherwise.

Lexi nodded, noticing his look of concern, "It's alright. Not everyone's partner was a shiny or a hardened fighter. I'll get someone looking for her straight away alright?"

Avery nodded, and Lexi began to take his dishes. "Is there anything else I can get for you tonight dear?"

Avery shook his head slowly, leaning back into the bed as his muscles ached, "No… Thank you for everything though. You too Skye."

Lexi smiled at that as she gave him a few pills to take, and made her exit. Skye seemed to be surprised to be getting any recognition for her work, concentrating as hard as she had for so long was hard. Once Lexi left the connection Skye sent a feeling of appreciation over the network, "No problem kid. Sleep well." She said cutting him out and exiting.

Avery sat and started at the ceiling as he fell further down his bed. With Avah being happy and safe now, there wasn't much else to worry about. The only thing that was left on his mind now was his partner, but she could be anywhere in the world now. He wondered if maybe he should only worry for himself now, seeing as how that was the only constant in his world. But he kept thinking about Luna. Would she even come see him if they found her? Would it be just like old times, or will she have changed a lot from then?

The question that nagged at his brain was would she possibly adopt him? He guessed that was completely up to what kind of pokemon she still was. But did he even want to be adopted? It would beat out living in a fancily named orphanage any day. But things would never really be the same as they were long ago. And then he thought about what'd he do if Luna wanted nothing to do with him, he felt a pang of sadness in his heart. She had always been there for him, and really no matter what choice she made, Avery determined that he had to be there for her. Even if that choice was to leave him behind. After all, she owed him nothing. He wiped the sad and conflicting thoughts from his brain, as he turned the TV off and dimmed the lights, falling into sleep once more.

Lexi walked slowly back to the counter as she thought about what he said about orphanages. Suddenly feeling much worse for any of the kids that were currently stuck in that situation. It was night time now, and time for her shift to end. But she made sure to fulfill one last request. When arriving at her usual desk she picked up the phone quickly, dialing a number she knew well, "Hello, this is officer Kairo speaking."

"Officer?" Lexi said with a giggle.

"Hey Lexi. And yes, officer, I'm no longer a private according to the boss."

Lexi rolled her eyes lightheartedly, "Well, 'officer' I'd like to make a request if you're still at the office."

"Sure! Shoot."

"Avery gave me some information on his partner, I'd like you to do a deep search for her because she isn't very distinguishable based on his description."

"Right-o, just let me grab my… Ahh there it is… Notepad is ready! Lay it on me."

Lexi looked down at the notepad and listed it off, "It's a female Goodra, she goes by Luna, but Avery would call her Lulu sometimes as well."

She heard Kairo sigh sadly from the other side, "Ahh man, is that it?"

"Yes… That's all he could give me."

"Man… poor kid," Kairo started, "Anyway, I've got it noted. I'll run it by our research team early tomorrow morning for you."

"Thank you so much Kairo." Lexi said with a smile, "Well, my shift just ended so I better be getting home. I've still gotta find something to eat as well."

Kairo hummed from across the line, "Y'know… I haven't picked up dinner yet either. Would you maybe like to-..." he said leaving the last part hanging.

Lexi giggled, "Hmm, is that a date you're proposing to me 'Officer'?"

"It just might be, Doc." He said, concealing his laughter.

She giggled again, "I need to go home first to become presentable. How about Macy's in two hours?"

"Deal," He said, "I'll pick you up in an hour and a half than."

Lexi blushed wildly as she hesitated on the phone, "It's a date! See you then." She said before hanging up on him.

When Lexi looked up the receptionist and her assistant Skye were looking at her with crossed arms as they giggled at each other. Lexi's face flushed red as she gathered her things and clocked out, "I'll be seeing you ladies. Have a good night."

Skye laughed, "And you have a wonderful night yourself darling." she said giggling with the receptionist again.

The next day was more of the same for Avery, breakfast was better than anything he'd had in months, and he was finally starting to relax a little bit. That was until Lexi had come in to inform him that someone from the Rehabilitation Center would be here to pick him up any minute. The idea of being crammed in a house with a bunch of other kids. Though Lexi did mention that sometimes pokemon would stay there as well, since it was rare but possible for them to be orphaned.

He wanted to relax while he waited for the person. Lexi had already disconnected him from all the medical machines and patched him up, and he was now wearing some of his regular clothes which made him feel much better. It was just some simple jeans and a purple t-shirt with blue waves design on it that his mother had bought for him so long ago now. But wearing it brought him much comfort.

Avery slowly rifled through the other possessions that the Sceptile had gathered for him. Especially his old notepads that he and Avah used to talk and sketch in, he could remember each night they spent when looking at the pages. It was very sad to think that she was gone, but Avery held it in. After all, she'd call him a dork if he cried after she left.

It was then that he felt a psychic buzz, it felt different from Skye however. He looked up and noticed a Gardevoir standing in the doorframe. He nervously waved, and let the new connection in his mind form. He was instantly hit with just how powerful her psychic energy felt, and he nearly flinched at the impact of the wave. Gardevoir's eyes widened as she rushed over to him, putting a hand to his forehead, "Oh dear, I'm so sorry…"

Avery shook his head a bit, "It's alright, it was just a surprise."

The Gardevoir was quite large, but she kneeled down to look at Avery and smiled, "My name is Azalea, most kids just call me Lea. Have you got your things ready to go Avery?" she said, grabbing one of his hands gently.

Avery tried not to let his nervousness get to him as he nodded, looking over and pulling his backpack onto himself he slowly hopped off the bed. "I'm ready Miss Lea," Avery said respectfully.

She giggled and grabbed his hand, leading him like a small child out of the room, though Avery did feel comforted by it. Almost like she was sending waves of reassurance through him. They approached the front desk and Lea quickly signed a few forms for his release, along with temporary guardianship of the child. Once done Lexi came out of a nearby room, seeming more surprised than slowly walking over. Lea pulled her into the connection as Lexi kneeled in front of Avery, "You're going to be just fine out there, you're a strong kid Avery."

Avery suddenly embraced her, and she reciprocated the hug, "Thank you Lexi. You're the best doctor."

Lea smiled, but must've seen the time somewhere as she looked down suddenly, "Oh dear. We best be off. I have to be back soon for lunch."

Waving goodbye, the Gardevoir quickly led Avery down an elevator, and towards the exit of the building, "How far away is it Miss Lea?"

She only smiled, as they reached the exit and she pointed across the street to a large building that looked like a house, "Not that far," she started, "Also you may just call me Lea, it won't offend me at all."

They crossed the street carefully as Avery looked around. He recognized this part of town, but then again, it looked completely different. Some buildings had been remodeled, and obviously everything was more pokemon oriented now. She led him up the dozen or so steps to the building, the doorway was massive and from the looks of it required a psychic type to open. There were no door handles and the thing looked to be a couple tons. That did make Avery nervous, almost like he was being imprisoned.

Lea quickly sensed his unease, and she must've had many children feel the same way, "It's only to keep the very little ones from escaping. There's a courtyard and an entire playground out the back that you guys have access to all day." She reassured as she kneeled in front of him, "I know it's a little scary, but I promise, you can make friends and have fun. Okay?" She smiled, ruffling his hair gently.

Avery nodded with a blush, "I'll try my best, Lea."

"Good boy," She praised as she finished opening the door.

Entering in and shutting it behind, the inside was exactly as he'd imagined it to be, very much like a regular home but made much longer to accommodate. Right in front of the door was a large staircase, everything was made to be child proof by the looks of it. Avery took one step forward and almost got run over by a group of four to five year olds playing tag.

Lea looked down at the small child, remembering that he was hearing impaired and would most likely be caught off guard multiple times. She called gently throughout the house, "I need everyone here right now, we have a new child everyone!"

She heard many children deep within the house scramble away from what they were doing as they ran to line up in front of her. Avery was super surprised by the range of ages, from the four year olds playing tag, all the way up to what looked like a few sixteen to seventeen year olds who were helping Lea reign the children in to listen. There were at least two dozen kids in total. Once everyone was paying attention she gestured down to him, "Everyone, this is Avery."

A resounding greeting to him was heard by Lea as she sighed deeply, "And that's another thing about our new little friend here. He is hearing impaired, he will not be able to hear you at all." A bunch of children gasped as if they'd seen a unicorn, while many others mumbled curiously about it.

Lea cleared her throat, "As you may guess. I expect you all to give Avery the utmost of respect, and be very cautious around him. I don't want to have somebody be doing something rowdy, and injuring Avery because he couldn't hear you coming. Got it?" She said as she raised her eyebrow at a very specific group of older boys.

Though everyone was very respectful and nodded, "Yes Miss Lea," They resounded.

"They all are excited to meet you, I've explained your hearing to them. But if anyone is mean to you or disrespects you, tell me, okay?" Lea said to Avery, and he nodded in response.

One of the older boys raised his hand, "I'll look out for him Lea. He'll need it with those four around." He said gesturing down to the four she had previously looked at.

Lea giggled, "Thank you, would you also mind showing him around? I need to make sure lunch is getting ready." A bunch of children gasped, excited for lunch.

He nodded, "Not a problem at all."

She added him to the psychic connection as she made her way to the doorway, and the older child approached Avery, "Avery the older boy is going to show you around the home."

Avery nodded as he looked up at the boy, "Hi I'm… well Avery, you knew that.'

The kid laughed gently, he was about a foot and a half taller than Avery, and had curly ginger hair with a very kind look in his hazel eyes, "Nice to meet you Avery. My name's Finn, I'm sorta like the big brother around here."

Avery tilted his head, "How old are you?"

He laughed again, putting his arm on his far shoulder leading him down the hallway, "I'm eighteen in a couple of months."

From that point Avery had gotten a tour of the house. It had a very large dining hall, an entertainment room with many TVs and game systems that Finn promised he'd get to try later. There was a room with a pool table and foosball, along with many other toys, board games and the like. A large courtyard outside with a big tree in the middle and many benches. There was a library, and a large outdoor playground, one that looked massive and extremely fun to play on. Avery was in pure amazement at everything this place had, "This place is amazing!" He expressed.

Finn laughed, "Yeah, it is always better than what every new kid imagines it'll be like. Every kid here is rather nice, we've all been through the same things so it helps make us feel like a family."

He showed me to some of the off-limits areas, such as showing me where Lea's bedroom was in case of an emergency. The kitchen, which had a few pokemon working in it that waved happily at Avery. And then the basement, which other than being a massive storage room for seasonal celebrations, was a hazard for most kids.

He showed me upstairs, where every room was. Each room was divided by age, with four to fives, sixes and eights, nines to twelves, and thirteen all the way to eighteen. Then finally he stopped at one more door, "And this is solely my room, so if you ever need me you can knock as well."

I looked up at him curiously, "Why do you have your own room?"

He rubbed the back of his head, "Well you see, I'm more of a permanent part of this house. I was one of the first residents, but being almost seventeen I wasn't their first priority for adoption…"

I looked sadly at him as I regretted asking, but he continued lightheartedly, "But Lea didn't want me to feel like I was unwanted. So she actually adopted me herself, so this is just our big home. Which is just fine with me, I like it around here, and Lea is an amazing person."

"You're so sweet Finn, I'm blushing. Stop being so nice so I can finish setting up lunch!" She said, startling us both a little bit.

"Oh right, forgot we were in her mind." Finn said, laughing heartily. I laughed at that as well.

He showed Avery to his room, in the nine to twelves room. They were all bunk beds, but he informed me that there weren't many nine to twelves, and that I could have a top or bottom bed all to himself with no neighbor. The rooms themselves were rather mundane, with curtains to block each bed off like it was its own room, and a shared bathroom in every room. Slowly he chose a bed right next to the window, setting his backpack on it. Finn chuckled at that as he turned away, Avery looked at him questioningly and he waved his hand. "No it's just always a good luck charm when a new kid chooses the bed next to the window."

"Why's that?" I asked curiously.

He shrugged lightly, "Every kid I've seen choose those spots always ends up leaving pretty soon. It's just sort of a superstition I have."

"Huh," Avery said thinking about it himself, "I do like it here, but I do hope my partner finds me soon."

Lea called out to us, "Lunch is ready, you two, the rest of us are waiting for you!"

Finn put his arm around the younger one's shoulder as he led Avery out of the room, "Well, let's enjoy the time that you're still here then shall we?"

"And you better have both washed your hands!" Lea reprimanded. Finn quickly led me the other direction back to the bathroom with a sheepish look on his face.

I appreciate all follows/favs/and especially reviews! I love hearing people's thoughts. Don't feel shy, even if you're gonna flame my writing I'm all for it.

See you next week! (Unless you care about a few replies to reviews.)

Thank you again for the review Wyldclaw!

Also I'm trying to keep replying to reviews to a bit of a minimum on this story, but it's you PlagueDoctor so I just gotta respond lol. And probably good to put this here for anyone who also might be curious:

First off, thanks for the compliments my friend. Also, this story is not and will never fall into ABDL, even when I wrote Keiran's New Perspective I didn't bother with any of that. This story is more about this traumatic cataclysmic event and the aftermath and how everyone adapts. Really the only reason I attribute this story to being influenced by the perspectiverse is because it was the original story to present such an interesting concept in the disappearance of adults and the fallout. I'm also not the only one to feel influenced in making my own universe with this concept, as The Crystal Brick has a very interesting story within the same influence, I haven't quite had time to catch up on it but from the parts I have read, I recommend. Also there will be an overarching story obviously but this is probably going to be a lot more chill and slice of life-y compared to my other two fics which have crazy villains and adventures and such, so I don't know, I hope it doesn't bore you lol.

Anyway, rant/ramble over.
